I nodd. She has a nice life....not what I exactly wanted for her...but it was good enough.

"What about you? What have you been up to?"

Now it's my turn to nod. It's completely understandable that he he would spend most of his time protecting his son. This was Roswell after all. Capital city of UFO's, aliens, and skins.

I look outside at the scenery as I swallow hard.

"I've really missed this place," I say softly as I continue to stare outside. And I have missed Roswell. Sure, it's really small and crappy town but it feels really good to be back here. It just feels like...home.

"Yup, it feels kind of good to be back here." I say with a small sighed. "You know...If Khivar manages to kill me...at least I'll die happy." I pause and frown. "Sort of anyway's."

I give her a quick sharp look.
"Id never let him hurt you"

I then realise how...boyfriendly that sounded and look back at the road.

"...any of you. No one is going to die. Theres only two outcomes. He dies, or I die and take him with me"

I shove Nathan away...not hard...but enough to end the kiss and to extract my body from his.

"So...can I stay?"

"Your not going to die." I answer him as we finally pull up at the Roswell Motel. "Well, here we are. See any signs of Khivar anywhere?"

She gives me a little push.
"So...can I stay?"

I look at her. I have so many thoughts...
Part of them want me to tell her to get on that plane...
And part of me tells me to have her lips on mine.

"Serena" I whine....

I look into her eyes before plunging my lips to hers.

"Your not going to die. Well, here we are. See any signs of Khivar anywhere?"

I look around and sigh.

"No...I don't know what we're even doing...he could be anywhere...he could come at anytime....and when he does....he'll come on his terms."

I look at Isabel. "Could you do that?" I ask. "Could he hurt you in your dream?" I add. "I don't want you to do anything risky Is"

"Serena" He whines.

Without warning his lips on mine once more and I can't help but respond...just for a secound before reality comes crashing back to my fogged mind.

I push him away...again. A little more roughly than before.

"Nathan." I say sternly.
