Alison...when you have Elvis Costello singing a song to you, you've got the world on a string. I always loved that song, but this is probably my favorite (plus, my name is spelled right here):

Really, Allison is basically a goldmine with songs. There's one called Poor Little Allison by Gordon Lightfoot and one called Allison by SR-71. There's even a band named Allison.

Okay so I was just strolling through the different threads and came across this one, so of course I just haaaddd to post.

My name is Shelah, it's pronounce just like the very regualr name : Sheila only it's spelled differently, but when you look at my name and try to sound it out She-lah, it's simple but you wouldn't believe the way people mispronounce my name..I get: Sha-lah or Sha-lay and more... anyways it is She-lah

Ok so I have to admit that I got into listening to the Counting Crows because of Roswell, I really liked their music but it did remind me of Max which is always nice.

My favorite song is Colorblind but I really love all of them. To my surprise one day I discovered one song had my name in it. The song very much fit my life and the way I feel especially oddly the one verse that my name appears in. Not only that but they spell it just like my name is spelled, which is strange because it can be spelled a million different ways.

I'll color in the verse where my name appears ... its a great song.

I also saw them in concert with my best friend and it was so awesome, it was an outside concert in the summer time at a local baseball field ... we had just a great time.
