Hey guys I'm going on Vacation for a week....I just wanted to let you guys know....

Liz

I see my sister Isabel slow her pace. She turns to me smiling, “Catch up or else we’re totally leaving you behind. Then dad will be really mad at you for being late.”

I am completely out of breath when I reach her side. I smile up at her. Isabel has always been a great sister. People just never get to see the side that she only shows me. People have dubbed her the Ice Queen of Roswell High, but to me she's Isabel Parker, my quirky, fun to be around sister.

"I am so sorry guys. God, I have had the worst day. I have been at least five minutes behind all day. And to think I was fifteen minutes early this morning, wonder what happened?" I say as I glance around, noticing that Alex is also late. "Hey you guys seen Alex?"

As of on cure I hear a slightly breathy voice behind me, "Hey ladies. Your escort has arrived!"

I turn around smiling. His cheeks are flushed and he is trying to act all cool and debonair for I am sure my sister's benefit. I shove him playfully. "It's about time you showed up Whitman."

*Alex*

I grin as Liz scolds me. It's all part of our usual banter and frankly, nothing Liz says can bother me right now. I'm with my four favorite people in the world. All of them beautiful girls! Of course, Isabel is the most beautiful in my opinion, but I don't dare to try to cross the line to something more than friendship...

Or at least, I don't dare to right now. I want to. I just need to figure out how to know if she likes me at all as more than a friend. Could it even be possible?

"Sorry, Liz," I say, shaking off Liz's words. "What do you girls have planned for tonight?" Somebody always has a plan. Usually it's Maria but Isabels plans can be a lot of fun.
