I'll trade with anyone!!! I mean who could resist, cold, wet, rainy, Washington. But I have an awesome apartment if you can deal with the cramped kitchen, and a best friend who cooks, and cleans, that I'm willing to give on loan, and I mean 20 minutes from Seattle, who can resist that.

An absolutely gorgeous day, a shiny new cell phone, free ringtones, and somebody else cooked dinner. Great day!

Or he shows emotion only when he loses? I remember when he lost to Nadal last year or the year before and he cried. That was jaw-dropping. He did get bumped from number one to number two in the world though. But yeah, I was shocked.

Anywho...finals are Djokovich vs. Murray. So yay, I really hope Murray wins then. I'll be rooting for him.

I think Nadal is cursed with the Australian Open, since 2008, every year he has ended up retiring early with an injury. :(

I hope so too... although I think Djokovic is going to be hard to beat. I really hope Murray can win though... it would be amazing to finally have a male British Grand Slam winner - it's kind of pitiful that we invented the sport, yet we never seem to do very well at it!

The Murray v. Ferrer match was on live at 8.30a.m. today... normally I'd be driving to work at that time but I got in early this morning so I could watch the beginning of the match on the BBC website at work :P. We managed to see bits and pieces in between attending meetings and classes (every time we had a spare couple of minutes, we were checking the score, lol)!

Oh God...I am ashamed. I really think that is the worst tennis match I have ever seen. Murray, oh Murray...I have no words for him. I couldn't even root for him...I gave up after the first game...after all those unforced errors..I just couldn't root for him and it just got even more pitiful then.

This is thing about Murray. He's a great defensive player...but he just never seems to do good when he's up there with the big leagues...hopefully, he can turn things around with the French Open. I feel bad for him though, those Australian commentators were chewing him alive but I really can't blame them...it wasn't just how he played, but how he acted throughout the game.

It was a terrible match from him, wasn't it? I almost didn't want to keep watching... it's hard to keep supporting him when he doesn't even deserve to win!

Yeah, I agree about Murray - he's all about being defensive, but the problem is that he's not going to beat Federer, Nadal or Djokovic in a Grand Slam final unless he starts attacking too. My parents kept pointing out that while Murray always got frustrated when he did something wrong or lost a point, but Djokovic just remained calm if he make a mistake and then got on with the game. I didn't hear what the Australian commentators said though, because we had British ones providing the commentary for the BBC.

I had a rather great day today. Laughed so much my abs still haven't stopped hurting. Work was good, the sun was shinning, and it was a good day to end the week.

At lunch I got hit on by the waiter who kept calling me "Maragarita," for some reason. I ordered a coke and he goes "and a margarita for the margarita?" - And he writes it down. Then when he brings everyone their drinks, he names them all. "Coke for you, diet for you, water for you, and margarita for the lady". Even though he handed me a coke.

"Will this be all and I assume you will all be paying for the margarita?" I think he was on crack!
