Chapter 21

While Max and Liz were going to the hotel, Serena had called her friend Kyle and now he called her back with a lot of juicy news about Ron and Tess.

"Serena, it's me Kyle"
"Kyle, you found something about Tess?" she asked anxious
"A lot! And not only about Tess, i've found also about Ron...and you know what they are involved together in sex with minors, she risks a lot cause she provided young girls." he explained
"WHAOU! Ron involved with Tess, i understand now why she had this power on him, i guess that if someone found out their schemes, he could have a lot of troubles." she asked reflecting at the situation.
"Serena, i've found out and i'm working in the Vices Squad, let me tell you that we're going to harass her and i'm not sure, if she's guilty as i suppose she is, that film will be her first and last in the same time." he informed her.

"Kyle, i'm glad you found so many things against that witch, but Max has to know before you could do anything against her, or even both of them." she said deciding to call Max as soon as she hung up with Kyle. She was sure he will be happy to hear those news.
"Serena, tell everything to Max and call me back. I've no intention to arrest her for the moment, if they planed to have her in their film, she'll be able to do before we could do anything against her. BUT, i want you to say to Max or everyone involved in that affair, that they have NO RIGHT, you hear me, NO RIGHT to tell her about us, i mean about the searches i'm doing on her or on the producer. It's very important for us, if we want to stop them and free those young girls" he stated.
"I understand Kyle, it's very important to catch her or at least to question her for the Vice, you have my word, no one will interfere in your job. I'm going to call Max to tell him about her, that's all. Count on me and thank you for your help." she said
"Thank you too, Serena, cause you helped me too. By the way, what do you think if we go out one day...i think that we form a good team, we should see if we can go further, huh?" he inquired.
"You're asking me out, Kyle?" she said a smile in the voice.
"It's a good idea, no?"
"Let me see with Max and i'll call you back, ok?"
"I'll be waiting, Serena...Have a good day..." he wished her.

After that conversation, Serena wanted to call Max, but she had clients in her restaurant and she postponed her call.

OK, I'M TRYING TO WRITE THAT NC-17 SCENE BUT IT'S HARD TO ME, NOT BECAUSE I'M SHY BUT MY ENGLISH IS NOT RICH ENOUGH TO USE THE RIGHT WORDS, SO I BEG YOU TO BE FAIR AND NOT SUE ME.....

They arrived at the hotel and went to Liz's room, they didn't talk in the elevator and Max get more nervous, and Liz more shy.. When the doors of the elevator opened, Max took her hand and led her....ran with her to her room. She had just the time to open the door before Max caught her and swooped down on her lips and devoured her mouth.
Shy at the begining, Liz slid her fingers in his hair and pulled him toward her, she forgot her objections, her fears, everything but Max, his hands, his lips on her. She didn't know that the passion could be so overwhelming and Liz felt herself out of the depth by the events but how to resist to such a fire?
His mouth was making love to hers since his hands were everywhere on her body.

Like blinds, they reached the bed, and he fell on it. Excited she removed his jacket and opened one by one the buttons of his shirt...here he was, in front of her...bare chest and she felt bolder..she caressed him slowly, bent and took a nipple in her mouth and sucked it with her tongue...Max was in agony but decided to let her do what she wanted with his body even if he was going to explode.
Even more slowly, her little hand lowered to his pants..she unzipped them brushing his erection.
"Liiiiiiiiiiiiizzz, i'm dying baby..." he cried huskily
"No Max, i want you alive...i want you to make love to me, you're not going to dye or we'll do it together" she said giggling. She pushed his pants down and he threw them away. When he looked at her, he found her staring at his erection with such a hunger in her eyes that he felt he would come right away "Liz, please don't look at me that way, baby, it'll be over before we could begin" he said kissing her breathlessly and in the same move he made her fall on the bed and rolled above her "Now, you're are my prisonner Liz, i'm going to torture you the same way you did it to me"

And he began to undress her, he wanted to do it as slowly as she did to him without stopping to kiss her.. he removed her shirt inch by inch and his mouth was following the same path than his hand, he kissed her stomach at the edge of her jeans and he was electrified to sense her quivering.
He helped her to take off her shirt and kissed her deeply, passionately. His tongue was duelling with hers and Liz couldn't help but moaned driving him crasy. He let her mouth and descended to her neck...the hollow of her throat...and before he continued he looked up to see her while he was pleasing her.
Her hair was spread on the pillow like a halo....her lips swollen by their kisses...he stared at her like a starved wolf in front of a tasty sheep and he was craving to eat her alive..but that was Liz...the love of his life here beneath him and he swore to lead her to the heaven, to make that day unforgettable.

He continued his path to her small and firm breasts, he sucked a nipple through the white lace bra until he hardened and did the same to the other. Liz was finding out some sensitive areas she never knew she had and was amazed to see what Max was able to do to her with his tongue when it was on her navel. "Liz" he called her softly "open your eyes love, i want you to look at me" he said while he was unbuttoning her jeans...

"Me too, Max...i can't wait to be yours." she said locking her eyes with his, Max smiled and bent to kiss her, he put all his love in that kiss, he wanted to proof her that he couldn't help to be hers too.
Then he removed her bra and panties and stayed there looking at her...amazed. Her tiny body, slender and so fragile...he was afraid to hurt her...
Seeing him speechless, Liz misunderstood his silence and crossed her arms on her breasts, reddening."Liz, no....i want to see you, all of you...you're so beautiful! you don't have to be ashamed, you're amazingly beautiful." he said brushing her nipples with his thumb and she gasped when he pinched one of them before he bent and took it in his mouth. He sucked it as if he was a starved and thirsty man in front of a feast....she was his feast and he couldn't get enough of her.

Hearing her moaning, he looked up and felt a real joy to know that it was him who gave her that pleasure and he felt more aroused. "Max, stop teasing me, i need you" she said hoarsly.
"Not yet honey, i want our first time together be the most incredible you never had" he said while his hand was lowering until her heat. He felt her thrill under his hand and with a smile, he continued to drive crasy with want...he slid his finger inside her and started to move them in and out, needing to hear her crying his name in ecstasy. "MAAAAAAAAXXX.....AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH" she screamed
"Honey, you're so hot....so we.....come for me baby" he said continuing to please her until she climaxed...then, he looked at her...so beautiful with her hair all around, her eyes closed....He kissed her softly whispering words of love in her ears....She opened her eyes and he stayed there unable to say a word, his breath caught in his throat.....there was so much love in her eyes...she talked softly..
"Max....that was so amazing....that's the first time i felt this...the first time." she repeated.

Chapter 22

"Max....that was so amazing....that's the first time i felt this...the first time." she repeated
He felt his body hardening more...he wanted to be inside her body, he needed it..
"Liz...i want you...now...." he said huskily his eyes dark with desire. "I want you too, Max...i want to feel again the things you make me feel" saying that she was inconciously moving up and down against his erection trying to sooth the increasing fire inside of her and Max was losing all control.
He positionned himself between her legs "Liz, before we gave ourselves to each other, i want to tell you that i love you like a damned, i've never loved someone like this in my all life...You're the one Liz."
"Max...i love you too and i've never..." she began to tell him but he cut her off "Shhh...you don't need to tell it and now, let me make love to you, let my dream come true."

He began to penetrate her slowly to let her adjust to him and thrusted inside of her until he felt a barrier....amazed, he stopped."Liz...love...you've never...."
She shook her head to say no.. he looked at her, not knowing what to do and scared to hurt her... But Liz didn't want to stop or let him regret something..."Shhh....Max, long ago, i dreamt that you were the first...and now my dream will come true.....But....if you're annoyed...." she asked uncomfortable and all of sudden shy....and scared.
"I love you Liz, anything from you could annoy me...i'm simply amazed, i figured that you've already made love......Are you sure? You want to make it....now?" he asked afraid that she could say no.
"I trust you Max, i'm sure you won't hurt me" she said and he saw in her eyes that she meant what she said.
Completely shaken by her innocence, he kissed her softly and slowly began to thrust inside her... he was scared....scared that her first time would be horrible and painful....
"Maax...please, i'm not scared"

She wrapped her legs around his waist, pulled him into her and he was inside her... the ache was sharp and she couldn't help the tears to leak at the corner of her eyes. "Liz, i can't...i can't bear to hurt you that way..." he said wanting to withdraw from her, but she didn't let him, she tighted her grip around his waist..."Max, give me a moment to let the pain lessen..." she said but he cut her off "Liz, you're the first virgin in my life and you'll be the last...i mean i don't want you to suffer like this, i can't bear it! and if you cry that's because..." it was her turn to cut him off "Because, it's normal...don't worry...See, the pain lessened." she said kissing him "Max, make love to me..i'm ready" she added huskily.
She felt Max reaction inside of her "You're more than ready, i see".
"You're killing me...i didn't know you'd be that witch liking to torture me..." he said smiling.."you know that i can do it to you too....later....Now i want to enjoy the moment i was waiting for so long....are you sure, the pain is over?" he asked again.
"I'm all right Max, show me how much you love me..."
"I'll show you, Baby, i'll show you and i'll make your first time a wonderful memory" he said locking his eyes into hers. He bent and kissed her deeply, his tongue tasting every hidden recess of her mouth. Then he lowered to take one nipple then the other in his mouth and sucked them, Liz gasped "Maaaxx!"
"You taste so good Liz and i want to taste every inch of you but sorry Baby, i can't hold anymore" he said

He held her tight against his chest and not stopping kissing her, he thrusted deeply inside of her...Liz's head was spinning, she couldn't think clearly..that was the first time in her life that she felt that. To have Max inside her body amazed her and the true love they shared gave her the yearning to give herself totally...She drove her nails in his back making him groaning and he almost lost all his control, but he wanted to please her first in spite of the urge he was feeling in his lower body..Liz screamed "Maaaxx...please faster....deeper....."
"Yeah Baby! all what you want...i love you!"
And he thrusted faster...deeper...as if he wanted to swallow her up to make one with her... he thrilled wildly...and they saw fireworks when, after a while, they climaxed in the same time, crying their names....their love for each other.

Although he was completely exhausted, he couldn't let her go off him, he needed to stay inside of her... And they rested untile their breath became regular, then Max rolled on the side and pulled her into his arms, he wanted to hold her tight against him, to feel her as a part of himself.
"Liz...do you know how much i love you?....do you imagine what this meant for me? I'm the first, the first you gave yourself....There is no word to tell you how i feel, i just want to scream that you're MINE....ONLY MINE and FOREVER! I'm whole Liz...you make me feel complete and happy for the first time of my life" he said with tears in his eyes.
Liz stared at him with tears in her eyes too, she was amazed to see so much love in his eyes, she couldn't believe that she was here, in Max Evans's arms and....yes, he's right, they shared an unforgettable moment...unique in their lives...She will engraved it in her memory...in her skin...forever..

Chapter 23

They were asleep in each other's arms when Max's phone rang. A little dizzy, he set up to look for his cell-phone "Shit...where is that phone?.........Hello!!" he bellowed

"Whaou! Is that a way to welcome your best friend, Max?" Serena said teasing him, she wondered what he was doing that made him shout like this in the phone but she kept teasing him. "Is this a bad moment?"

"Serena! I'm tired and too tired to fight with you! So tell me what you have to say and leave me alone!" he replied, angry that his friend had disturbed them

"Okayyy! I thought that you were eager to hear what I learned about Tess but since I disturbed Your Highness...I'll call back when you'll be in a better mood. By the way, do you know where is Liz? Is she with you?" Serena was sure that Liz was with him, she had the feeling that she had interrupted something and even if she was sorry for that, she knew the news Kyle gave her was too important.

"Liz is here with me, wh..." Serena didn't let him finish his sentence and teased him some more "Oh....Oh....I understand now! This is a really bad time for me to call!" she knew that Max would be furious for her intrusion in his private life but she couldn't help it.

"Serena!!! Tell us what you have to tell and leave us alone....and by the way, could you spare me your disgusting comments" he retorted getting angrier.

"Disgusting comments? I didn't say anythi..." he cut her off. "SERENA!!"

"Okay, I'll tell you why I disturbed Your Highness...Listen, after you left, I called a friend of mine, he works at the Vice Squad..." once again Max cut her off. "Vice Squad? Why did you need to call him, I don't understand. For whom?" he asked surprised, he wondered why Serena had called that friend and what the link was with him?

"If you let me finish instead of interrupting me every time, you'd know! Okay, I start from the begining....You told me that Tess had an affair with the producer, right?" she asked and she heard Max say yes on the other side. "So i thought that maybe, my friend could find out something to help us to get rid of her"

"How?" Max asked not knowing where Serena was going with this.

"Max!! Let me tell you the whole story or I won't say anything! It's not nice to stop me at every word I'm saying!" she retorted.

"Okay, I won't say anything until you are finished. Sorry Ser."

"Max, the cinema industry is not only well known for the films or the movie stars...We all know that some people are not really....normal! I mean the celebrity status has gone to their heads and they think that everything is allowed for them......I'm not talking about people like you or Liz.. Anyway, let me finish! I thought that maybe if we did some research of her life, we would find something to use against her." Serena stopped to let Max assimilate what she was talking about.

"Thank you for thinking that Liz and I are not so corrupted....so did he find something we can use on her?" he asked eager to know if his friend found a way to fire Tess.

"A lot! She's not the producer's lover...actually she is his provider.....with young girls...minors. Your producer has this kind of liking young girls and Tess is providing him with that. I mean she is a sort of pimp, and as you know there are laws against that kind of people......Max? Are you stil there?" she was worried not hearing a sound from her friend.

"Yeah...Yeah, I'm here...I'm just shocked and Liz is too, as you can guess. Tess is a pimp? Whaou! and what is your friend going to do about this? Is he planning to arrest her or something like that? Geez, Ser, I'd never imagined Tess as this kind of a person, she's more corrupted than I thought....EErrgghh!! And all those poor girls! I'd like to twist her neck if I was in front of her!!! and I slept with that...that..???AHHHHHHHHH" he yelled in the phone.

"Maaaxx! I'm deaf! You seriously hurt my hearing!" Serena said and she heard Liz trying to calm Max on the other side.

"Serena, hi, it's Liz...I think that Max is feeling sick to think that he slept with her, we're going to leave him alone. Is there anything else that you learned about that bitch?" Liz said trying to hide her disgust about that woman.

"No Liz, nothing more. Kyle demanded that you don't say anything to anyone, he doesn't want to see her getting away with this and not being punished. He said that after the film they will come and arrest her.....Maybe they could do it with some cameras around, after all that woman likes it when people look at her. We could give her what she wants for once!" she said laughing bitterly.

"Serena, it's so terrible for those young girls! How can a woman take advantage of innocent girls like that? How can she be so corrupted? I can't believe it! I knew that men could be pigs and some more but I can't accept it from a woman!" she said with all the anger she felt in her voice.

"Serena, your friend demanded that we keep that information hidden for the moment....but what about Jake? He has to know...and why do we have to keep her on the project? He could easily arrest her before....Jake is not obligated to have her in the film anymore? She can't be a threat anymore or there is something else we don't know about!"

"No Liz, you're right, Kyle is not obligated to wait for the end of the shooting, at least he didn't say. Maybe he thought that Jake won't agree to fire her...If you want, I could call Kyle and you could come and talk with him? Could you ask to Max if he agrees with that?" she asked.

"He heard you and you can call Kyle, we'll be at your restaurant in one hour." she stated.

I'VE UPDATE "A TIME TO FORGIVE" AND WILL DO IT SOON FOR "HATE..." AND "REVENGE..."
Chapter 24

One hour later, they were reunited in a secluded corner of the restaurant.

"Okay guys, let me introduce to you my friend Kyle. As I said, he works for the Vice Squad and he has a lot to tell you about Tess. Kyle?"

"Thanks Serena. By the way, nice to meet you, I would have liked to be under different circumstances... but that doesn't matter now. Yeah, I found out that Tess was involved in minors sex traffic, I mean she's a provider...a pimp. She used the relations she had in the show industry to spread her business." he explained to Max and Liz.

If Liz was disgusted and shocked to learn that young boys and girls were used by this kind of people, Max was devasted, he was cursing himself to have introduced that monster to his relations, he couldn't help but feeling guilty.

"She used me for that, if I hadn't dated her she wouldn't be able to make her schemes with those children. And all those people who I thought I knew, they are as guilty as she is. They used those children for their pleasure! I'm shocked to my very core." he said, holding his head in his hands.

Liz tried to sooth his anger and stroked his back softly. Serena smirked when she saw how close they were, at the same time she was sorry to see that they couldn't enjoy the happiness they just had found. "Max, it's not your fault...isn't it Kyle?" she asked.

"You're right Serena. Max, you don't have to feel guilty about this. Tess used you, that's right, but she was known by our services, I mean, we knew that she was more or less involved in that traffic, but we hadn't had any proof to arrest her. You should be happy to know that, thanks to you, we have that proof now, and we are able to stop that traffic, her group at least."

"Don't be offended Kyle, but it's not enough for me, she used me to provide some young girls, or maybe young boys, to people that were supposed to be my friends. I can't but feel guilty about that. Anyway, what do you intend to do with her now?" he asked, hoping that Kyle and the Squad would arrest Tess as soon as possible to stop the damage she already caused.

"For the moment, my superiors told me to wait. A lot of very important people are involved in that traffic, in the show business, in the politics, I wonder if some people in the Gouvernment are not involved too. You see, it's like an octopus...that's the Mafia, in fact. I don't know if she's important in this organisation or not. You know, it's always easier to catch the little ones, we want to catch the whole organisation." he said looking at Max and Liz.

"And Serena told us that you don't want us to talk with Jake about her. Don't you think it's important for him to know who he's working with?" Liz asked. "You don't think that he's involved too, do you?" she asked blushing. Since Kyle said that a lot of important people are involved in this traffic, Liz was thinking that anyone could be guilty, even someone like Jake.

"NOT JAKE" Max bellowed "That's impossible, he can't be involved in this traffic. If he is, I won't be able to trust anyone! You're not helping me here Kyle, with this story. Now I'm thinking about a lot of people I know and trust in the industry and I have so many doubts dancing in my mind right now. That's terrible!" he said desesperate to know that people whom he was spending time with could be corrupted.

Max felt like if all his life was a big lie. He was working with people who didn't deserve his friendship, his trust...and in the same time, he was thinking that he couldn't be that naive of course. He knew that the show business was very corrupted, maybe he was too. He moved away from Liz, thinking that this way, he wouldn't hurt her, if he was one of them. He didn't sleep with minors but he was guilty too.

Kyle saw that Max was really uncomfortable and wondered why? "Max, you have nothing to do with that kind of people...you don't have to worry!" he said

"I don't think so Kyle....I don't think so." he replied sadly. "I went to their partys, I saw what they were doing there, I knew that they were dirty people....I took part in that when I was there, of course I've never slept with a young girl, and I never saw one of them do it, but I was there...and because of that, I'm involved too." he said looking into Kyle's eyes.

Liz was shocked when she heard Max talking, she realised that he was a part of this business, he enjoyed those partys....and he was Tess's boyfriend a few weeks ago, yet. She felt like if a wall was standing between her and the man she gave her virginity to, and she realized that she didn't know this man. She was confused and cursed herself to not have thought about it before things went to far with Max.

"I think I'm going to leave now. I have nothing to do with this story, I'm shocked and I need to think about all of this in my room, alone." she stated as she stood up.

Max looked at her, devasted, he knew that she was disgusted to know that he used to be with those people, that he slept with that bitch. He was terrified to think that maybe he had lost her. "Liz....I...I'm sorry...I didn't want to shock you..Baby, don't go!" he pleaded with tears in his eyes. "I don't want to lose you...not now that I've found you." he added, looking into her eyes, begging her to believe in him, to believe in them again. He couldn't accept it to let her go. Two hours ago, they were making love, sharing that unbelievable moment when they gave themselves to each other.

"I'm sorry Max, I just realized that I don't know you...I forgot that you were in the industry for a very long time, I was too Max, but I stayed away from those kind of people, you should have done that too." she said holding the tears that threatened to flow. "Kyle, don't worry, I won't tell anything to Jake. I'll be waiting for you to tell me what will happen. I will go to my room now. Call me when everything is settled and that we'll be able to work normall. I hope we can do it." she added.

And without even looking at Max, she left the restaurant.

Chapter 25

When Liz left, Max looked at Serena and Kyle dumbfounded. "I think I can understand her, after all I have slept with that monster in the past, well not so long ago, and she feels digusted..." he began to say but Serena cut him off, not letting him incriminate himself.

"Max, she just needs time. I know what kind of person she is. Pure and unbending, and it's hard for her to accept that people like Tess exist. It's harder to know that she works with people who are maybe involved in that trafic. For now she is shocked but I'm sure that she will come back to you as soon as she realizes that you have nothing to do with them."

"I must go after her and try to explain." he said stubornly. "If I leave her alone she won't make the difference between me and those people. What we have between us, what we just have shared will seem disgusting to her. I won't let that happen." he said and walked to the door.

"Max, don't say a word to Jake for now. Let me see what my superiors wants to do with Tess. After that we deal with him." Kyle said running after him.

He looked at him sadly. "Kyle, I'm sorry but Jake is not my priority for now. Don't worry, I won't tell him anything, I will wait for your call."

"Thank you." Kyle returned to sit next to Serena. "That's so sad, but I'm sure they will settle this misunderstanding. I'm sure that Max will find the words to make her see that he is innocent." he said with a smile.

"I don't know Kyle, it was hard for her to trust him because of Tess. And now he has to grovel to make her come back to him, and I'm not sure if she will accept. I think that their relationship has grown, and maybe she regrets that. We will see. So tell me what's going to happen now?" she asked worried.

"Well what do you think about you going out with me?" he said casting his eyes to the floor.

"Silly! I was talking about this mess!" she replied laughing. "So, you are not interested to go out with me?" he asked disappointed.

"Are you serious?" she asked."Absolutely! Serena, I'm not that kind of a man who asks a girl out without serious intentions, at least not anymore! Look, if you need time to think about...."he began be she cut him off. "No Kyle, I don't need time, I'd love to go out with you...WAIT!!! I agree to go out with you but I want you to go after Tess. I don't want her to win and to hurt them, I mean not only Max and Liz but most of all those little boys and girls she uses for the pleasure of those pig's. Make her pay for what she is doing."

Serena I promise you, she will pay for that." he said as he bent to brush her lips softly.

In the mean time, Max had caught up with Liz at the hotel. Actually, she was already in her room and Max hoped that she would want to talk to him. He knocked on her door. "Liz, please let me in." he begged her.

"I don't want to talk to you." she shouted through the door.
"Liz, we have to... Liz, please open the door, I just want to explain something to you and then I'll leave you alone, I promise."he whisperd, not wanting to create a scene with the neighbours.

He waited and after several minutes she opened the door slowly. When he saw her face, he groaned, she had been crying, her eyes were red and puffy. "Liz, honey.." he whispered.

"Come in Max." she said as she opened the door completely. "Tell me what you have to say and then leave." she said coldly.

She was worried and angry. She just heard those disgusting and horrible things about Tess and knowing that Max had slept with that monster. She couldn't forgive herself for her own stupidity and didn't want to be influenced by Max.

"Liz, I know what you heard....what we heard together about Tess was horrible and digusting, but I never slept with a young girl myself and I have never seen one of them at the parties I attended." he began his plead.

As Liz kept silent he continued. "Liz, I'm not one of them, I mean I might be a well-known moviestar, but I haven't lost my soul, I'm guilty of sleeping with Tess, to have used her body like a sexual object but I swear that I have never took advantage of my celebraty status. Liz, you know that for our business we're compelled to attend those parties, I don't like it, but if I want to work I have to do some things I don't like."

"Like what?" she cut him off. "Because I work too and I never have done something I didn't want to do Max. I'm my own Boss. Could you say the same about yourself?" she demanded.

"Yes, I swear to you that I have nothing to be ashamed of on my consience. Trust me Liz." he begged.

"Max, I did trust you. With my heart, my body and my soul. Do you remember?" she asked sarcasticly.

"How could I forget what we have shared Liz? It's here in my heart and my body too." he said putting his hand over his heart. "Liz, I've never felt for anyone what I feel for you. You're the one Liz. You will be the one until the last day of my life, I swear to you. I love you...so much, if you only knew." he finished with tears in his eyes.

"You're a good actor Max!" she cried out. " I'm not playing with you Liz, I've never done that and I never will, trust me Liz, and give me another chance. Give us another chance." he said pulling her in his arms. "Liz, you know that I'm madly in love with you, and you proved to me that you love me too. I know that you wouldn't have given yourself to me if you didn't love me and trusted me enough to do it. We have found something so special when we fell in love with each other. In our business love is just sex and there aren't a lot of couples who have found true love like we have. We can't let this distroy our lovestory." he said with passion and unable to restrain himself he kissed her fiercely.

Liz was surprized and tried to push him away. But she gave up and kissed him back. Sencing her surrender Max tightened his grip and deepened the kiss and groaned. He couldn't get enough of her and he was scared to death to lose her again.

Liz felt her body heaten up and she wrapped her arms around his neck. He was right, they had found true love, it would be stupid to let Tess or anthing else distroy what they have. Max carried her to the bed, she tightened her grip and smiled against his lips.

"Liz, I love you so much that it hurts and I know that you feel the same way." he said and she nodded. "Honey, we have each other and we won't let anything tear us apart. I want us to live together Liz, do you want to move in with me?" he asked shyly.

"Max, it's to soon. Don't get me wrong, I love you Max with all my heart but it's to soon. Let's enjoy what we have for now, we can always move in together when the time is right, okay?" she said and to show him that she intended to make that step one day, she lay on the bed and pulled him in her arms. "Max, make love to me, I want you." she whispered seductively in his ear.

He looked at her, dumbfounded at first, but then he pulled her in his arms, holding her tight as if he didn't want her to leave the circle of his arms, never. "Oh Liz, you are so amzing! I love you so much and I will till the end of my life." he said and began to kiss her everywhere. Her cheeks, her eyes, and swooped down onto her lips and ravaged her.

Max and Liz spent the night making love and talking about their future. They didn't get much sleep but they didn't care, they were too happy to be together and thought that they had enough time to rest and sleep later.

The next morning they arrived on the set, walking hand in hand. They went to Jake's office and were surprized to hear people cry out. Max opened the door and frooze at the doorway. Liz who was behind bumped into him when he stopped. "Max!" she whispered.

In front of them they saw Jake with his head in his hands. Kyle and another man were with him and they turned their heads when they saw Max and Liz enter the room.
"Max... Liz, I'm sorry. You are not allowed to come in here!" Kyle informed them.

"Why? What's going on here?" Max said worried about the way Jake was acting.

"Kyle? Has Jake something to do with Tess's trafic?" Liz whispered, not wanting to be heard by Jake and the other man.

"I'll be outside. Be back in a second." he said to the other man who nodded in response.

"Kyle, what are you doing here? And who is that man sitting in Jake's office?" Max asked really worried about Jake.

"That man is my superior, William Valenti, and yes he is my father too. We're here for Jake, it seems that he is involved with Tess or at least knows something about the trafic." he said annoyed. He knew that Jake was a good friend of Max, and that he trusted him. "I'm sorry Max."

"Are you sure? I mean, do you have proof that Jake has slept with young girls?" he asked alarmed.

"We're not sure but he didn't want to answer our questions. He is waiting for his lawyer." he said.

"His lawyer? Is it that bad that he needs a lawyer?" Max cut him off and shouted.

"Shh... Max, I'm not alowed to say this to you. I did because you are a friend of Serena, so keep quiet and we will see why he needs a lawyer. After all, it would be enough for him to tell the truth, we didn't accuse him for now, we just told him about Tess's trafic." he stated.

"And what are you doing about Tess? Did you already arrest her? Because if you questioning Jake, you should questioning Tess too." Max cut off sternly.

Liz stood by his side and stroked his arm. "Max, it's not Kyle's fault. He is here to talk to Jake and he didn't want to talk, am I right Kyle?" she asked. "Absolutely! Max he is still a free man and it's his choice to stay a free man or be accused for sleeping with minors!" he stated.

"I'm sorry Kyle. You know, I can't believe that he might be guilty, I know nothing is proven yet.. but if he is I'll be shocked, he is my friend and I have known him for years. Can you understand that?" he asked devastasted.

"Max, Kyle does understand you and don't worry, maybe Jake is protecting someone else. Geezz! He is a father himself, he can't be sleeping with young girls, it's impossible!" Liz said shocked.

"KYLE!" Mr.Valenti called.

"I'm here, what's up?" Kyle asked."

"Who are these people?" Mr.Valenti asked looking at Max and Liz. "I know your face, mister...." he said to Max.

"Max Evans, I'm an actor." introduced himself holding out his hand.

"Yeah, I know you. I mean I saw one of your movies. What are you doing here? And who is this young woman?" he asked again and pointing to Liz.

"Dad, this is Liz Parker, she's an actress too. Max and Liz are the lead actors in the last movie of Jake Timson. They are here because they have to work today." Kyle explained.

"I'm sorry Max and Liz, but I'm not sure that you will work today. We have a problem with your director, so I sugest that you go back to your hotel and Kyle will call you back." he stated.

"Mr Valenti, I know why you're here. That is, Serena a friend of mine was the one who called Kyle to aks him to find something about Tess. I'm involved here as a friend of Jake, I can't go back and leave him. I'm sorry, I want to ask you if you can allow us to stay with him." Max pleaded with William Valenti.

"I don't have any problems with that, and maybe you can help us." he said.

"Help? How can I help you?" Max asked surprised.

"Come this way." he said leading Max and Liz into another room and closing the door behind him. "Tell me Mr.Evans, you said that Jake Timson is a good friend of you. Did you attended the same parties as he did? I mean, do you have something to do with this trafic." he asked coldly. His blue eyes looking straight in Max's eyes.

Liz gasped and put her hand over her mouth, and Max was too shocked to answer. When he took a breath he felt the gall rising in his throat and his stomach turned. "WHAT??? Of course not!!" he shouted. You think that because I'm a friend of Jake I have something to do with that disgusting trafic?" he screamed, hurt to hear that he was almost accused as one of those monsters.

"Not only because you're a friend of Mr.Timson but I also checked Tess Harding her files. Your girlfriend so it seems!!! So I have all the right reasons to thinks that maybe you took advantage of that trafic too. I wouldn't be surprized, this industry is completely corrupted!" he said disgusted.

"Mr.Valenti, I'm sure that you don't think that I took part in that trafic too?" Liz asked slowly. Mr.Valenti shook his head and glanced at Max who looked at Lizx amazed to see her ask that question. "Why not? I could have been a provider or a pimp like Tess, what is the difference between us? Why don't you accuse me to have taken advantage of that trafic too?" she urged Willian Valenti.

"Miss Parker? Look, I was in this squad even before you were born and I know when I see a person if she honest or corrupted..." he began to explain but Liz cut him off. "So I assume that you have dicided that I am honest and that Max is corrupted? Why? What is there in Max's attitude that tells you that he is corrupted? Just because he slept with that monster? He broke up with her and we are together now. Because he knows people who are suspects? I hope that you have found proof of these things that you are accusing him off, if not not then you have no right to accuse him! Let alone charge him!" she said with passion in her voice. She looked up at Max and send him a bright smile and took his hand in hers and squeezed it. Max mouthed, "I love you so much!"

There was a vibrant silence in the room. Kyle was looking at his father and then at Liz, thinking that Max was lucky to be loved by that woman. Mr.Valenti came close to thinking the same thing. They were all staring at each other when they heard, "She's completely right, Mr Valenti! Max is innocent." Jake Timson said startling them.

"Jake!" Max said, surprized to see the director here to defend him. "I couldn't let him accuse you Max. The only thing you are guilty of is that you have slept her, that's all. You didn't know what she was doing." he said flatly. "And you Mr.Timson, are you guilty? Do you have anything to do with this?" Mr.Valenti asked with a sacastic tone.

"Don't answer that, Jake." a man stepping in the room said sternly. "I'm Frank Potter, Mr.Timson's lawyer. If you agree Mr.Valenti, I would like to talk to my client in private." and without waiting for an answer, he walked out of the room with Jake right behind him.

William Valenti was pissed because of the lawyer's behavior and glared at his son. "He thinks that he is the KING or what? He forgot that I'm the Law and I can give his client a hard time if I want too, I mean, if he has something on his conscience." he said angry and the room fell in silence again.

They were waiting for Jake and his lawyer for almost 30 minutes now. Max asked if somebody wanted coffee or something but they all said no. He was going to ask Liz to step outside until Jake would return when the door opened. Frank Potter stepped in followed by Jake, who looked very pale.

"Okay Mr.Valenti, I have talked with my client.... Wait a minute, who are you?" he asked Max and Liz coldly.

"I'm Max Evans and this is Liz Parker, we are friends of Jake and we are his leading actors." Max answered.

"And you are alowed to be here? Is this not a private meeting?" he asked with a glare to Mr.Valenti.

"As long a Mr.Timson agrees to have them here, I have no problem with it.' He stated.

"Okay, as I said, I have talked to my client, and we agreed to coopertate with you. But only under one condition. My client agrees to give you all the information you need and you don't charge him. I mean here is the deal, all the names of the persons involved in the trafic for his freedom. The ball is in your camp now." he said sternly. Mr.Valenti nodded and without a word took Jake's statement.

Max and Liz looked at Jake, shocked, HE KNEW. He knew and he didn't do anything to save those children from their misery. They hoped that he didn't sleep with one of them, that would be so awful. They were staring at him to make him return their stares, but Jake was ashamed, ashamed to have betrayed them. He stayed eyes locked to the floor

"Before we begin Mr.Timson, I want you to call Tess Harding and tell her to come here to your office. We know that she is the pimp. We are going to arrest her."

"Why here? Why in my office? She will know that I gave you her name." he asked anxiouly.

"No, Miss Harding knew that we were watching her for all those years. She knows us, but we never had enough proof to arrest her. That problem is settled now. Call her and give her a rendez-vous in one hour. We will be finished then.' he said cutting off the discusion.

Jake took the phone and dailed her number. "Hello? Tess, hi this is Jake speaking. Yeah Jake Timson. Tess I need you to come to my office in.. let's see one hour, is that okay with you? Fine, I will be waiting for you. Bye Tess." he hung up and came to sit in front of Mr.Valenti, ready to talk.

I just want to add a word, I know that some of you have been shocked by Jake, he knew. I think that this fic could be real, I mean, children are used by people like Tess for some pervers persons' pleasure and it's horrible. I wanted to talk about that in the show business because when those people became famous, they forgot that they weren't above the Law.

Chapter 26

One hour later.


Tess arrived at Jake's office and stept into the room with a triumph smile on her face. She was certain that Jake had called her after the little conversation he must have had with Ron. She made a note to thank Ron for coming true on his word.

" Jake, I'm here. I really hope that you didn't made me come here for nothing." she said sitting down in a chair and crossing her legs. " So? What do you have to tell me that is so important that it couldn't wait?" she asked with contempt.

" Tess, don't play with me, okay? I didn't call you because of Ron. Actually Ron called and told me that I could do whatever I wanted to do with you. And I'm fed up with you and your schemes. So, here is the deal: You start behaving like every one else on the set, I mean you're gonna stop acting like you're Queen Elizabeth II around here and think that you own the place, or you are fired. The choice is yours, but I want your answer now."

Tess was speechless. That asshole thought that he could fire her. Did he just forgot that she knew some little things about him. " Tell me Jake, did you even think about all the risks that you are taking when you talk to me like that?" she asked him, narrowing her eyes.

" What do you mean? I don't understand, Tess. What risks are you talking about?" he replied, looking at her with a fake smile.

Tess stood up to close the door. " Don't! Why do you want to close the door, Tess? I've nothing to hide and if you have some secret to tell me, don't worry. People are here to work and nobody would dare to spy on us. So, tell me about the risks?" he asked again.

" Okay, if you don't care that people can hear what we are talking about, it's fine with me. It's your problem. Jake, I know that despite the fact that you are a father, you don't have any problems with sleeping with young girls yourself. Huh?" she said slyly. " By the way, do you know that it's really hard to find 16 or 17 year old girls and I know you like those." she said with a devilish smirk.

" BITCH! Who do you think you are, threatening me like this? And how do you know about that?" he cried out. He had agreed with Mr. Valenti to push Tess to confess that she was involved in the trafic, so that they could arrest her. It scared him that she gave away that part of his life he was trying to hide. He felt so ashamed because he knew that Max and Liz had heard that too.

" How do I know? Oh come on Jake, you didn't asked yourself once who might provide all of these young girls for the industry? You didn't wonder why I knew what you liked?" she asked proudly. As if it was the best thing in the world to screw up those young girls lifes.

" It was you?" he shouted feeling disgusted. " What do you think?" she asked with a smirk.

" I don't know. I know what you said, but I'm not sure if it is the truth. Maybe you are just saying that to force me to keep you in the film. It wouldn't surprise me, I think that you are able to do a lot of things, but being a pimp? I don't know....I don't think so. But there is also the possibility that you just give yourself the credit for something you know exists, but I don't believe that you are involved in that." he said trying to make her confess.

" Jake...Jake! You know I can do more than you think. I like to play the naive blond, or the bimbo who is just interested in her body, or her clothes and completely brainless. But I'm smarter then you think. I can tell you the truth, even with the door open. I don't care. Listen to me my little Jake. I'M THE PROVIDER! I don't like the word pimp, but yes I'm the provider. All of the industry is eating out of my hand because they want something that I can get for them. Me, little Tess Harding, and Max was just stupid. He didn't even know this when we were dating. I was just using him and all of his friends to introduce myself and set up the business. After the politicians, I have been going after the actors, producers, and directors. As you see, I know a lot of people." she continued without taking a breath.

" Are you saying that all the politicians and all of the movie industry is corrupted and they sleep with young girls? " Jake asked dumbfounded. He was forced to continue to make her confess, and faking everything because he already knew it all.

" No, Jake. Not all of the politicians and the movie industry of course. I would be the richest woman in the States if I could provide for all those people. You know there were some people that couldn't be talked into doing it, so I have failed with them. But I was lucky they never got the idea to tell the Vice." she said with a contempt smile.

" I heard you had some problems with them." he stated.

"Yeah, but they never could find anything to use against me.....I'm the be....." she didn't get to finish her sentence when Kyle and William Valenti stept into the room slowly.

Tess tried to escape but Max stopped her and Liz stood right behind him. Tess looked at them, shocked, and suddenly she started to scream like a crazy woman.
" YOU BETRAYED ME, JAKE!....YOU MADE ME TALK BECAUSE YOU KNEW THEY WERE HERE! YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU ASSHOLE! I'LL MAKE YOU PAY, JAKE! AND YOU TOO MAX! THIS IS NOT OVER!."

She continued to scream when Kyle held her tight. She tried to kick him with her heels but Mr.Valenti grabbed her and sat her down on a chair and putting on the handcuffs.

" Okay, Miss Harding, you don't need to repeat what you said, it's all been registered. You surprised me, I didn't know that you were the Head of the Organisation."

" I have nothing to say to you! I want my lawyer. I know my rights, so give me a phone." she said coldly. The colour of her face had turned pale, because she knew that she told everything to Jake, not knowing that the Vice was in the other room listening. She knew that the risk of going to jail was very real.

Max woke up from the shock from what he had heard and walked towards her.Her stared at her with a disgusted look. " You used me! You seduced me and used my friends for your disgusting business, why? WHY TESS? What did I do to you?" he yelled feeling hurt.

" Nothing Max, until lately nothing. I needed to be introduced into the industry. You're right, I used the name you have and I did what I had to do. It wasn't your kind of business. You weren't the kind of person that I could have corrupted to sleep with young girls. That's not your thing. But I took advantage of that. You slept with me and I liked it... and if I remember correctly so did you." she said licking her lips and and giving Liz an hatred glare.

Max jumped as if he got burnt. " You're disgusting! All those young girls, what did they do to you that gave you the right to distroy their lifes. Do you even feel sorry for them? Don't you feel ashamed? How can you look at yourself in the morning?" he asked again.

" Of course I can look at myself, why not? It's business Max. And I didn't only provide young girls, there are a lot of gays in the industry and they wanted young boys, sometimes even very young boys! What do you want me to do? I have to get them what they need." she said coldly. " Don't tell me that you are shocked? Are you?"

Liz looked at the woman and was completely shocked to hear her talking without any remorse for all those young children she distroyed. She couln't believe that such a monster like this existed. She didn't want to approach her but she had to tell her what she was feeling from the bottom of her heart.

" I can't believe that a woman can distroy children like that! And only for money! You are a monster! There are no words to describe what you are. I hope that you will suffer in jail the same way you made them suffer and worse. You don't deserve any kind of forgiveness under no circumstances. You are the devil in disguise. YOU DESERVE TO DIE, TESS!" she said sternly and on impluse she slapped her twice with all her strenght and anger.

Max looked at her shocked. He couldn't believe that one day he would see Liz losing control. She was shaking from head to toes and he knew that he'd better stay away from her or she might hit him too.

Kyle stood beside her trying to sooth her anger. " Liz, calm down. She is not worth it. You're making yourself sick. She doen't care about those kids no matter what you say. Come on, let's go to the other room." he said softly. He pulled her in his arms and Max felt the jealousy get the best of him. He wanted to cry out that Liz was HIS, but he knew in his heart that this was not the time. He tightened his fists and send a murderous glare to Kyle, who just smirked.

When they walked out Tess laughed. " Poor Max, is your mousy little girl escaping from your fingers! Do you think that Kyle will have her, now that she knows what kind of man you are? I mean, you slept with me, you dated me for months. You shared my life for months. Does she know? I'm sure she does now, and I'm sure you will lose her because of that. Even if I go to jail, I will have the pleasure of knowing that I ruined your relationship." she said laughing again.

When Max didn't answer, Mr.Valenti made her stand up. " Okay, Miss Harding, you have a date with the Justice Department and you will find a lot of your little friends in the same place. Mr.Timson, I'm not done with you. I want to see you in my office tomorrow. Then we're going to decide what to do with you." he stated.

" Miss Harding, let's go. Oh Max, could you tell my son that I'm waiting for him in the car. Thank you, and don't worry, everything will be okay." he said as he walked out of the room. Max nodded sadly, he was not as sure as Mr. Valenti was.

He walked slowly to the other room and when he opened the door he stopped dead in his tracks: Liz was in Kyle's arms, her head resting on his chest. "LIZ!"

"LIZ!" Max cried out startling the couple. He looked at them dumbfounded. *Could Tess be right? Did I lose the love of my life?* he thought.

"Max, relax man! Liz was shocked about all that shit with Tess and Jake. I thought it would be better for her to come here to calm down." Kyle said releasing Liz placing a kiss on her cheek and walked out of the room.

She looked at him and was shaken by the pain and fear she saw in Max's eyes. * He feels so insecure, he seems completely lost* she thought. She walked towards him and took his hands in hers.

"Max, look at me. I was shocked to hear what she did to those children, but I was more shocked to learn that Jake, a father, slept with those young girls who were just 17 years old. They have screwed up those lifes just for their own pleasure, and I'm disgusted to be involved with that kind of people." she said softly.

Max stared at her, searching in her eyes for proof that she didn't trust him anymore. "Are you going to leave me? Do you intent to date Kyle, now that you know what kind of monster Tess is? What kind of friends I have? What kind of man I am?" he asked with agony.

Liz widened her eyes. "Leave you? NOO! I have no intention of leaving you, Max. Look, do you think that because you made a big mistake by sleeping with that monster that I will leave you? Is that what you think about me? That I'm a coward, unable to see the difference between a man like you and a bastard like Jake?" As he didn't answered, Liz felt exhausted and didn't want to fight over and over again. "Okay! You're right, we don't have anything in common if you think that I'm that kind of woman who flees at the first problem!" she said and walked out of the room not wanting him to see her cry.

Max stayed in the room for several seconds, stunned, *she had no intention of leaving him, so she said* so why wasn't he running after her. He couldn't let her run out of his life, he needed her like he needed oxyen to breath. He shook himself out of his thoughts and started to run after her. He caught up with her in the street, when she was about to climb into a cab.

"Liz!...Come with me, please." he said pulling her to him by her hand. "I'm sorry sir, she is not coming with you." he said to the driver.

The man looked at them and smiled. "Aawww love! A quarrel is always good in a relationship." he said smiling before he started the car.

Liz and Max stood on the sidewalk. She bent her head because she wanted to hide the tears in her eyes. Max was staring at her and he felt that he loved her even more if that was possible.

"Liz, I'm an idiot, a fool.... but I have an excuse. I love you more then life itself and I lost my mind earlier. When I saw you in Kyle's arms, I just saw red. I mean, Tess had just told me that she was happy to have ruined our relationship because you would never except me after hearing about that mess. I lost my mind when I thought that you would leave me. I love you Liz, so much!" he said pulling her in his arms.

"Honey!" he kissed her eyes, her nose and her cheeks that were wet from her tears. He swore to himself that he wouldn't make her cry again. Then he lifted her chin and looked in her eyes. "I don't want you to cry anymore, I'll do my best to make you happy. I love you, Liz." and then he kissed her fiercely, holdiing her tight as if he was afraid she would flee.

She was in his arms now, and she wouldn't leave that place for the rest of his life.

A moment later, they were in her room. They had just closed the door when Max grabbed her and started kissing her everywhere. "I love you..... I love you....." he couldn't help himself declaring his undying love for her.

Suddenly he stopped. "Liz, .... is everything all right between us.... I mean, do you trust me now, you know that my only mistake was to sleep with that monster..."

"Max since you came to this room to explain everything about that mess, I trusted you. Max, I know you had a life before me..." she started to say but he cut her off. "My real life started with you Liz, from the moment you entered my life." he whispered.

"What? Do you mean that you're life began when we made love?" she teasted him.

"No, silly! My life began that day I found you in Jake's office. I fell madly in love with you that day and I'm always mad about you." he said kissing her passionately.

"Please let me finish, after that you can do what ever you want with me." she said with a glimmer in her eyes. "AAAHHHH! Are you trying to kill me, Liz? You promise me HEAVEN but I have to wait?" he said faking as if he was dying.

"Not only wait but also behave as well." she added laughing. "Max, you know that I've been shocked when I heard about Tess and Jake and all of those people involved in that trafic. But I don't think that you are on of them. I agreed to follow Kyle in the other room because I couldn't bear to be in the same room with that monster, and I'm thankfull that he got me out of there." she explained sincerely.

"Liz, I thought that Tess had won. She just had told me that I had lost you forever, that Kyle would have you now after you found out what kind of man I was. When I saw you with Kyle, it felt like my heart stopped beating, as if I was dying." he whispered softly.

"Max, Tess didn't win. I love you with all of my heart. I know what you said earlier, and that you had nothing to do with them, and let me tell you that I do trust you and that you can't have any doubts about that after what I'm about to do with you!" she retored.

"What? I don't understand what you mean, Liz." he replied.

"Max, I gave myself to you, you were my first lover. Don't you know that I not only trusted you with my heart but my health too?" she asked.

Max was more and more confussed. "Liz, you trusted me with your health, how?" he asked really not understanding what she meant.

"You slept with her and I slept with you! If you remember well, we didn't use any protection, any time..... you can't say that I don't trust you with my health after that!" she said louder, astonished that it was so hard for him to understand.

"Liz....honey... I've never lost my control with her and I always used protection, you don't have to worry. You are the only one who can make me lose control and that's why I forgot to use protection. And you know what? I would be in heaven if you were pregnant with my child Liz." he said with a dreamy look. "In fact....." but she didn't let him finish.

"NO...NO... one day I will want that too, but for now I just want to enjoy my life." she said serious.

"Liz, I didn't forgot the protection on purpose, you know. Each time we were wild and so excited that I just forgot. And if you are not pregnant, we will wait until you are ready. I'm not in any hurry too.... I want to taste you again and for a long time." he said huskily, while he led her to the bed.

"Maaxx! Is that what you mean by taste me?" she asked when Max was kissing her everywhere. "I'm sorry, but I'm addicted to your skin, your scent.... addicted to you and I can't get enough of you." he said continuing kissing her.

He devoured her mouth, slidding his tongue inside to taste every crevice. His hands were cupping her breasts and teasing her nipples through her shirt. He was attacking her and Liz was happy to surrender. He released her mouth when he came in need of air. "I love you so much that it hurts. Do you know that?" he panted looking in her eyes.
Liz melted, she was unable to resist him when he said those kind of words to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close against her. She kissed him with all the passion and love she felt for him.

Without breaking the kiss, they started to undress each other feverishly. They were so eager to feel skin against skin and to be one forever.

"Liz, I want you so much baby." he said in a hoarse tone. He swooped down on her lips and ravished her mouth. He was quivering in her arms and Liz realized the power she had on Max.

"You're mine forever Liz, nothing can seperate us. We are one." he panted when he was on top of her. He was inside her in one thrust and they moaned with pleasure. He was home, Liz was his home and his everything. Now he was whole, he had found his other half.

They made love as if it was their last time, wildly.... as if it was their first time, softly and lovingly. And really this was their first time since Tess was arrested and soon she would be a remote souvenir to them. They felt like the kings of the universe, strong because of that incredible love they shared, strong cause despite of everything, they were together and will be till the end of their lives.

After they came back to reality, Max tightened his grip on her. "I love you Liz, forever." he whispered when she fall asleep, exhausted. "Me too." she replied, unable to keep her eyes opened. He stayed awake a little longer, looking at her while she slept, the love of his life. He felt tears running down his cheeks, but he knew they were tears of happiness.

He was about to fall asleep too, when the phone rang. "He..hello?" he whispered.

"Max, Why are you whispering?" Serena asked.

"Liz is sleeping, and I don't want to wake her. Why are you calling me?" he asked, not wanting to talk any longer.

"Liz? Sleeping? And you are whispering? I think that once again I picked a bad moment to call you." she teased him. She was really sorry to distrub them, but not that sorry to tease her friend.

"Serena! You are lucky that I can't talk louder.... so stop mocking me and tell what you want to tell me!" he said getting angry.

"Okay...I'm sure you will be happy to hear that the Juctice Department will send Tess to jail!" she announced, sure that Max would be happy, and Liz relieved to know that. Kyle came to tell her what had happened in Jake's office. Speaking of Jake. "Max, they are going to sue Jake."

"Sue Jake?" he screamed. He was so surprised that he forgot that Liz was asleep next to him. "Sorry baby. It's Serena." he explained softly.

"They want to sue Jake?" Liz asked. "I thought his lawyer made a deal with Mr. Valenti." she added.

"Serena, did Kyle tell you why they are sueing Jake?" he inquierd.

"They said that he was guilty of sleeping with minors, he was guilty for withholding evidence from the Justice Department. They did agreed to let him shoot his film, but he will have to go to court after that." she informed them. "I'm sure they won't send him to jail because he gave a lot of names." she added.

They stayed quiet for a while, absorbing the news: Jake Timson arrested because he slept with minors! "Unbelieveble!" Max shouted over the phone. "He was my freind, I trusted him like a big brother." he said devestated, tears were running down his cheeks.

Liz was stroling his back slowly, trying to sooth his pain. "I can understand your pain Max, but he is just a man with flaws. I understand that you feel betrayed by him. But think about how his family must feel, his wife, his children.....geez he has children!" Serena said with anger in her voice.

Max dropped the phone on the bed, shocked. Jake his friend had slept with young girls and he had children of his own. He felt the bile rising in his throat and was unable to continue to talk. Liz took the phone. "Serena, were going to let it sink in what you just told us. Thank you for all that you have done. We will call you later." she said softly. "I'll be waiting. Give Max a kiss for me."

"Liz, I won't be able to shoot with him again. That's impossible!" he said astonished by the news.

"Max, he's guilty for the horrible things he has done, but if they agreed to let him shoot the film, we have to do it. I won't do it with pleasure, but he can sue us if we refuse. We signed a contract with him, remember." she said softly. She knew that it would be hard for Max to work with Jake, more than it was for her, but they were in no position to refuse the shooting if the Juctice agreed.

"Liz, we'll shoot that film, because we have no choice. But after that we give up the movie business! I will doing it without any remorse." he said fervently.

"Maax! it's the only thing you have ever done. If you stop, you are crazy. We could stop shooting for a while but I'm sure that you won't stay away from the studios for to long." she replied with a smile.

"Okay, if you say so. I believe you!" he said returning the smile. "But I want us to enjoy each other. I want us to go to all the places you never knew existed, here in the States or abroad. That will be our honeymoon. What do you think about that?" he asked. He seemed to laugh but in reality he wanted to get Liz out of the business and enjoy life with her as long as she agreed.

"Honeymoon? All around the States or the world? My dream is comming true." she hissed. "Max, I want to be with you where ever you will be."she stated solemly.

"Okay, I think I just forgot someting very important, what a fool am I! But I hope that I've understood you correctly." he said jumping to his feet. He took something out of the pocket of his jacket and came back to Liz.

Actually he knelt before her and took her hand and kissed her softly, Liz gasped, amazed.

"Liz, despite of all the problems we went through, you're here with me. I thank G-d for letting me find you again, to make you enter in my lame life. You enlighten that life Liz, and I hope that you will do that for the rest of your life. I love you Liz, like I never thought I could love someone one day. I don't want to waste any second of my life without you. I will cherish you, love you, laugh with you, and cry with you...I want to have children with you. I want you in my life, now and forever. Liz Parker, will you marry me?" he whisperd with tears in his eyes. She saw so much love in his eyes that she gasped again. *what did I do to deserve this?* she thought.

"Max, I won't say all the things you just said, because you are so much better at that....I will only say one word. YES!" she said, tears running down her cheeks.

Max did not give her chance to breathe, he grabbed her in his arms and kissed her wild and long. She felt his heart racing and she tasted the salt of his tears on her lips. Then he took her hand again and placed an magnificent diamond ring on her finger. "MAAX! This is too much, this ring is fabulous, you shouldn't..." he cut her off taking her hand and placed it over his heart. "Do you feel that, Liz? Do you feel how fast it beats? That for you Liz. Only for you until my last breath.You deserve that ring and so much more." he said kissing her finger.

He climbed back on the bed and pulled her in his arms. "I want to spend every day of my life with you like this one Liz, and I'll make every day of your life like this one, I promise." he said kissing her deeply and reverently.

Max and Liz are together, all the problems are settled. Will they continue to work in the film industry? Maybe, but for now they were in that room, swearing and showing their undying love for each other.
