"Let's do something fun. Maybe put put golf or the movies? You're call." Maria replies with a smile. I contemplate her answer for a moment, before deciding on the latter. I've always been absolutely horrible at mini golf anyways.
"I'm up for a movie," I answer, returning her smile. "Is there anything you wanted to see?" As I finish talking, I grab her hand once more and walk over to the car Liz, Alex, and I came in. It's good that Alex's car is still here from last night.
Opening the passenger seat, I wait for Maria to get in before closing it behind her. Then I climb in the driver's seat and turn to face her.
"Honestly, I have no idea what's out."

Half an hour in to my shift and I notice that Liz isn't looking too bright but I see Isabel with her and smile knowing that she will take care of Liz.Probably still feeling her way around and getting used to waitressing.
"Hey man...I'll have a Will Smith buger with Saturn Rings on the side and a Blood of an Alien Smoothie." says Neil Patterson as I go to his table to take his order "and a cherry coke for Melinda." he says referring to his girlfriend
"Come right up,Neil." I reply and go the counter "Hey Jose...one Will Smith burger with Saturn Rings on the side." I inform him as I go behind the counter to whip up the smoothie and the open the bottle of cherry coke

He really thinks over our options with a quiet intensity. That's so cute! I have to physically stop myself from squealing. Since when did I turn into the giggly girlfriend. That is soo not me. Better keep a check on that.
"I'm up for a movie," he decides with a smile that must mirror mine. "Is there anything you wanted to see?" he questions as he takes his hand in mine and leads me over to the vehicle.
Just like a gentleman he Opens the passenger side door and waits for me to get in before closing it behind me. Then he climbs in the driver's seat and turns to face me. His eyes have this mesmorizing quality. This is going to sound really corny ,but I adore the fact that I can get lost in his gaze and still feel like that within it his the only time I feel truly found. Yeah, I know. I'm quite the paradox.

"Well, there's supposed to be a really good scary movie out." I offer while looking out the window as we ride along the not so crowded street or Roswell.
"Are you feeling brave?" I ask as I turn to him with a laugh.

She lifts the flowers up to her nose in the cutest fashion. Taking a big whiff she grins widely.
"oh Kyle they're lovely thank you" she replies as she gives me a chaste kiss on the cheek before turning to walk into her kitchen and retrieve a vase.
"I'll just put these in water and then you can.." She licker her lips in the most provocative way and my blood boils just at the sight of her. I want those lips on me! Does she have any idea what's she's doing to my poor body? "...show me around" She finishes.
She takes th flowers to the kitchen and returns with her purse and an excited expression.
"so ya ready to show me what this town has to offer?" she questions as she brushes past me toward my mustang.
"Oh I'm ready!" I assure her a tad to eager. "The question is are you ready? I don't want to over whelm you with all the extravagent sights. Maybe I should take you somewhere low key. Quiet. Somewhere vacant..." I trail hoping she gets the gist of where I am going with this. "Like Lover's Point." I suggest with a seductive wink.

"wow she's beautiful!" this was the other choice i was going to go with when i bought my desoto

That's good though, considering everything that's happened. And I feel happier too, like her attitude is contagious. I've never really been open with anyone before, and right now, I feel as though I would tell Maria whatever she wanted to know.
"When am I not brave?" I question, grinning as I turn into the parking lot of the movie theater. "I love scary movies," I add, before parking the car. I can't remember the last time I went to the movies. I'm always too busy with school or the band, or keeping an eye on Liz. And I never had anyone to go with. Which is a pretty good excuse.
Getting out, I check my pocket to make sure I've got my wallet, and then walk around and open Maria's door. Leaning on the side of the car, I wait for her to get out.

His smile melts any nervousness I might have had. Which is odd considering I've never been on a date before. I know how sad and pathetic am I? It's just that growing up with Hank it was hard to have friends. I couldn't let anyone get close. It's too hard trying to protect the ones you love from the monster you live with. So having a boyfriend was out of the question. Not that I lost a lot of sleep over the matter. I had never met anyone worth my while. Until Michael... he changed everything.
"When am I not brave?" He inquires with a smirk and I return with a grin with my own. He's right. For as long sa I've known him (which granted hasn't been that long) he has nothing short of remarkable in his courageous acts. He's saved my life three times. once from a bullet, Once from Hank, and once from that lonely path I was traveing attempting to keep everyone at a distance for their own sake. I have no doubt I wouldn't have lasted very long on that road. Thank goodness for him.
"I love scary movies,"he remarks as he parks the car. I start to open the door ,but he signals for me not to do so. Hmmm... What is he doing? Getting out, he does a quick wallet check and then walks around and opens my door. Wow, there are still men who do that? Leaning on the side of the car, he waits for me to get out. I oblige him by grabbing my small wallet out of my duffle bag. (I'm not the purse carrying type of girl) before stepping out onto the pavement.
"Look's like Scream 3 is playing. Whatcha think?" I gesture toward the sign before taking his hand in mine. That feels right.

While I wait for him to ask us what we want to see, rub the top of her hand gently with my thumb absentmindedly. It feels good to hold her hand. I've never exactly had a girlfriend before, so this whole thing is sort of new to me. Not one to usually assume, I think the same goes for Maria.
"Two tickets to Scream 3 please?" I ask, pulling out the money and handing it over. Then I turn to Maria.
"Now, I don't know about you, but I'm a popcorn kinda guy. You want anything?" I glance up at the menu above the snack counter, mentally calculating. I've got plenty of cash. Thank god the parents like to give allowance weekly. But I definitely need a job.
