She walks over to the couch and puts her hand to it...
It turns pink.
Oh....god....
"There do believe now" she says...and the couch changes back.
Ok if I had been drinking I would have had a few too many...
But I havent.
I stare at the couch.

"well anyway the lawyer ,goes to a judge and tells him your situation...and then the judge makes his decision and then he tells all this crap about how your an adult now and you have to look after your self and make sure you do the right thing and yada yada yada " she gives a small laugh which oddly enough brings a small smile to my face.

We turn off the highway and on to a dirt road that i don't recognize, red dust flying beind us as we make our way into the desert. once we reach the middle of nowhere Tess slides out of the car,grabbing her bag of the back seat . Standing infront of the hood she gives me an exhasperated look.

"So Ria ,you gettin out ...i wanna show you something!" she whines

I comply climbing out of the car and going to stand with her

"We are in the middle of nowhere What could you possibly want to show me here?" I aske curious to see her reaction

*Liz*

I see his reaction to the couch. "This is as big as drugs or anything you found out me or thought you knew about me. Max this is the hardest thing, this why I am so scary let you in. I didn't want you see this, I didn't want think I was a freak and be scary of me and go tell the FBI. Because if the FBI knew about us, they will some way harm us and be away from the people we love." I said trying to explain.

"I can leave want me to, but my life is in your hands a long with my brother and my brother friend Alex." I said.

"Right......" I say quietly. I head over to the fridge, grab a beer and drain it.

"Right." he said and goes into the kitchen. Maybe I should leave and give him some space. "I think I should go..." I said.

I swallow...part of me agrees....she should...
But...I dont want to.
"No dont" I say. "Im...gonna have a shower ok...stay here if you want to..Ill...be back in a minute" I say.
I start to walk to the bathroom before stopping...
"Is that ok?" I ask.

*Liz*

"No dont...."Im...gonna have a shower ok...stay here if you want to..Ill...be back in a minute....Is that ok?" he ask. I just nod. I sat on the couch waiting when he gets out.

I sit there thinking what will happen now that Max knows, will he turn me, Michael and Alex in? Will he hate me or be scary of me? Or will he not want see again and think I'm some kind of freak?

This really hard, but I think the the way he took it went well, I think. I sat there watching the game while Max was taking his time in the shower.

I step in the shower...
Im dating an alien.
Dear God.
...Is it bad that...I still love her?
But what if shes some...human eating alien? What if she eats guys like me for breakfast when they hurt her or annoy her...

I need more information. There is so much in my head right now...
But I still love her.
I get out and change.
I take a deep breath before walking out there.
"I need to know everything Liz" I say slowly.

"I need to know everything Liz" Max said steping out of the shower. I look at him; it looks to me this going be a long night. "Ok what do you want to know?" I ask.
