"Meet the parents? Are we ready for that so soon?"

He winks at me and I roll my eye's at his joke as we head on inside. We quickly sit down at one of the tables just as my parent's quickly come over.

"Hey mom," I say, smiling up at her. I glance at Serena and Nathan. "This is my...friend, Nathan and this is my other friend, Serena."

We all go and sit down and a woman comes over.

"Hey mom, This is my...friend, Nathan and this is my other friend, Serena."

I smile at her, and I can't help but think...hmm....what if I impress Liz's mom...andddd I make Serena jealous....Hmm....

"Its lovely to meet you Mrs Parker, and may I say you look far to young to have a daughter. You and Liz look practically like sisters"

"Hey mom, This is my...friend, Nathan and this is my other friend, Serena."

I notice how she paused and I can't help but look at the table wishing that I wasn't there.

"Its lovely to meet you Mrs Parker, and may I say you look far to young to have a daughter. You and Liz look practically like sisters"

God what a slime ball. I roll my eyes and mutter to myself "Yeah and you look like a suck up"

I hold back the urge to roll my eye's at Nathan's comment to my mom. I also hold back the urge to start laughing right there.

"Well, thank you," My mom says, a huge smile on her face. I'm surprised she isn't blushing. It's nice to meet you." She turns to Max and Isabel, "And it's nice to see you two also." She pauses slightly and turns to me. "I guess I'll leave you guy's alone for now then. Liz, we can do some catching up later I suppose."

I smile up at her and nod. "Sure, mom." I say and watch as she leaves and heads towards the kitchen.

Once she's out of earshot I immediately turn to face Nathan and Serena. "You guy's, I've been thinking." I say. "I think it would be best if you guy's just flew back to L.A tonight. I don't want you guy's staying here, it's not safe."

"Well, thank you, It's nice to meet you." she says and then smiles.
She looks at Lizs ex and sister Isabel and says, "And it's nice to see you two also."
She looks at Liz.
"I guess I'll leave you guy's alone for now then. Liz, we can do some catching up later I suppose."
Liz nods. "Sure, mom." she says and with that Liz's mother leaves.

Liz immediately looks at me. "You guy's, I've been thinking. I think it would be best if you guy's just flew back to L.A tonight. I don't want you guy's staying here, it's not safe."

"No" I say immediately. "If your staying, we're staying" I say. "Theres no way Im leaving without you Liz."

I try not to make a growling noise and look at him. "Liz is right, your just another two people we'll have to protect. You can't help. It would be best if you leave."
Im tempted to say to take Liz with them, but I can't do that. Not when shes finally back. Id break down if she left now.

I look at Max and say "Look buddy, this has nothing to do with you ok? Im staying whether you two like it or not. This involves all of us now, and Im staying to protect Liz."

"Are you even listening? You can't protect yourselves let alone Liz, and plus all I can imagine you doing is hurt her, so why don't you just go back to LA and get on with your nice little lives...if you have one."

I see red. "Why you...."

~Liz~

"Why you...."

"Okay, okay, you guy's just stop this, okay?" I say, nervously. The last thing I want right now is the two of them ripping each other's throats out right here in the Crashdown.

"I just don't want you guy's getting hurt." I tell Nathan and Serena. "And I really think it would be best if you two went back to L.A."I pause, "But you look pretty determined to stay, so stay if you want but don't say I didn't warn you. And if something happens to you you better not hunt me for the rest of my life because I warned you so just remember that."

"Okay, okay, you guy's just stop this, okay? I just don't want you guy's getting hurt. And I really think it would be best if you two went back to L.A. But you look pretty determined to stay, so stay if you want but don't say I didn't warn you. And if something happens to you you better not hunt me for the rest of my life because I warned you so just remember that."

I roll my eyes. "Your such a drama queen Liz. Nothing is going to "happen" to us. The only way Im leaving is if your coming with me."
I cross my arms and look at her. "So are you coming? Or staying?"

I swallow hard, hoping beyond hopes that she decides to stay. I know its selfish of me, and it will put her in danger....but I feel like I can do anything with her around. She inspires me in a way no one else can.

~Liz~

"Your such a drama queen Liz. Nothing is going to "happen" to us. The only way Im leaving is if your coming with me."

He crosses his arms over his chest and looks at me.

"So are you coming? Or staying?"

"I'm staying." I answer immediately. Of course I'm staying, there's no way in hell I'm about to leave now, I'm seeing this through to the end. And there's also the fact that my parent's would kill me if I left again right now, and I don't want to leave them here with Khivar and Nicholas on the loose. God knows what he could do to them if Khivar ever got his hands on them. And the other reason I don't want to leave right now is that...I don't want to leave Max. Ever since I came back to Roswell and ever since I saw him again, those old feeling's I had felt just came resurfacing back.

I let out a small sigh, "So if I'm staying I guess that means that your staying too, huh? Not that I'm not happy or anything, it's just...I don't want to have to worry about you, that's all. And I know I'm being a drama queen here, but, you don't know this guy, Nath. You don't know what kind of power he has or what he's capable of. Just yesterday he took Kyle's memory away. Now Kyle's comepletely-"

I froze all of a sudden as my eye's widened in horror, I turned to look around our small table, "Oh my, God! Max, we completely forgot about Kyle! I didn't think of checking to see if he had followed me into the Crashdown when I had that fight with my parent's! He probably took off down the street or something! Or what if Khivar kidnapped him while we weren't looking!?"

"I'm staying."
I can't help but sigh, and I can tell by Isabel's expression that she noticed...I just hope no one knows if that was a good sigh or a bad sigh.

"So if I'm staying I guess that means that your staying too, huh? Not that I'm not happy or anything, it's just...I don't want to have to worry about you, that's all. And I know I'm being a drama queen here, but, you don't know this guy, Nath. You don't know what kind of power he has or what he's capable of. Just yesterday he took Kyle's memory away. Now Kyle's comepletely-"

Oh no.
Kyle.

"Oh my, God! Max, we completely forgot about Kyle! I didn't think of checking to see if he had followed me into the Crashdown when I had that fight with my parent's! He probably took off down the street or something! Or what if Khivar kidnapped him while we weren't looking!?"

For a moment I sit there, because at first I can't help but think, he deserves it. After not telling me about Liz....
But after a second I realise what a jerk Im being and get up out of the booth. I quickly go and check the street.

"Kyle? KYLE!"

He's not here.
"Crap" I mutter.

~Liz~

I try to take a deep breath as Max hurried outside to try to find Kyle. How stupid am I? I just compltely forgot that he was with us for like a fraction of a second!

I quickly get up from the booth and hurry outside the Crashdown after Max, Isabel is right behind me.

"Do you see him anywhere?" I ask Max worriedly. "My God, what if Khivar kidnapped him or something!? Max what are we going to do? What if something happens to him!?"

I'm sorry but I'm just plain freaking out right now.

"I can't beleive this," I say, angry at myself. "I should of kept a closer eye on him. This is all my freagin' fault."

I turn to look at Liz. "This is not your fault, its mine, if I had been paying attention to him rather than you then..."

I stop mid-sentance. God, I can't believe I said that.

I step out of the crash following Liz and hear

I smile. Aww...little Maxy has a thing for Liz. Tough that shes way out of his league, and he's an alien.
"Hey Lizzie!" I exclaim to let them know that Im here. I go over to Liz and put my hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry we'll find him"

I turn my back on the two of them. God kill me now. I pretend to keep looking for Kyle when actually Im just making sure I don't look at them.
