Feeling EXTRA nostalgic today ... listening to "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)" by The Four Tops, which is dipping ALL the way back into the 1960s :)

She's back with another album, and I think it's even better than her last.

SO vibing to this next track. And the MV is pretty cool.

Enjoyed the aesthetics of it all - the shadowing, bright colours, patterns and prints.

A little quirky fashion to go with the funky music. :D

LOSING YOU by SOLANGE

There's nothing more
I know you're taking it away from me
I gave you everything
And now there's nothing left of me
I'm not the one
That you should be making your enemy

Lovin' this man's silky smooth voice. It's such a treat to my ears.

Here are two songs.

The first track is actually on Solange's new album, but it
was originally sung by this next artist.

He does music really well.

(NOTE: The second MV has some violent scenes.
But, despite that, I actually really like it.)

BAD GIRLS

It’s everything that you seem to ignore
The classroom that you treated as a bore
The alcohol you drink, but never bought
The dress you stole, and were never caught
The bed you wake up in that’s not your own
The makeup you applied two days ago

I'm ecstatic over this next track. More than ready to hear
the rest of the songs on the album, when they're released.

This video made my day. The man behind the wheel
is one cool guy, and a wonderful human being.

Got nothing but love and respect for him.

May you continue to be blessed abundantly, Mr. Allen Wong.

I'm linking three videos.

The first video is actually titled:

17 Year Old Girl Rides A Lamborghini from School - Reaction Video

It's posted on Allen's YT Channel (regovids).

This here is the track that plays while
he drives. NO background noise.

And this last one is a 50 minute interview of how this
man went from where he was to where he is now.

People never cease to amaze me.
I pray it holds true through out my life.

I'm a sucker for JT. The guy gets me every time. But this . . . this is a truly new and extraordinary sound for him. I'm in love with it.

This is from The Office Series Finale "All the Face" by Creed Bratton. I admit the Office was one of my favorite shows - but I really liked this song on its own too.

Nice tune, great lyrics. Touching

Cannot WAIT for this woman's album to come out, even though I don't think this song is going to be on it:

Final Warning by Skylar Grey

It's a pretty dark song, but I love it!

I like this new tune. My first time hearing it. Thanks, April!

Dark, but good.

Okay, so it's the start of summer, and though
the weather's bright and sunny, this next track
sounds more like autumn/winter.

It's a sad song.

Depressing, really.

The vocalist's voice sounds like he's wailing
at certain parts than actually singing, but I
find the song strangely comforting.

Poison Oak by Bright Eyes

Well, let the poets cry themselves to sleep
And all their tearful words will turn back into steam

But me, I'm a single-cell
On a serpent's tongue
There's a muddy field
Where a garden was

And I'm glad you got away
But I'm still stuck out here
My clothes are soaking wet
From your brother's tears
