"I'm leaving" I tell her stiffly. "Im sorry Tess. I have to"
I pack up the last of my things as I envelope her in a hug. "Im sorry. I cant stay here. Not now that they...Im sorry" I repeat, holding her.

*Tess*

Now I'm even more confused. "Now that they what?" I ask Liz and then I turn on Max and Maria. "What the hell have you done?" I yell, starting to lose my temper which doesn't happen very often

"Why don't you let the happy couple tell you" I say. "I mean as Im the "ungratful heartless bitch", im sure you don't want the details from me" I add.
"But then again....they may gloss over the details, but then they never exactly gave me the entire story either. But all I know is that those two are together, and apparantly Im the one to blame."

*Tess*

I don't believe any of this. I turn to look at Max and Maria again. "Liz is not an ungrateful heartless bitch." I snap at them. I turn to look back at Liz. "Liz if you leave I'm going with you." I tell her.

" Maria, there's something I need to tell you."

"What is it," She said, cleaning the huge mess.

"There was a prophacy, saying that a DeLucca witch was supposed to stand above the curse and break it. And you become half white liner,"
I finfished.

She froze, and then said, "I'm sorry about Liz."

"Why, you were helping and she had no reason to be,"

She stares at me with her new eyes, and asks, "Is this tranformation, permint?"

"Yes, I'm sorry,"

"Max don't be. I'm glad you were there when no one else could help me,"

"No problem," I replied.

Then, unexpectedly we kissed. And I had a flash from the past, and her arms wrapped around me, as we were dazed in the flash.

"Sabrina," I replied.

"Zan," She answered back.

I watch them, in horror. It was like they didn't even acknowledge my existance.
I back away from them.
Forget the suitcase....I run.
I run out of the mansion and I run as fast as my legs would carry me away from Roswell.
I feel like Im going to be sick...and I am. I throw up on the road before running further and further away.
But I will never get away from it.
Never ever.
I am totally alone. Tess...I wil miss her...but she doesn't understand. They could never understand...
I stop. This has gone far enough.
I shimmer to the shop and open the drawer under the counter.
The one which I keep all the things incase someone breaks in.
I open the drawer and take out the knife.
I look at it for a moment. Theyve already destroyed me anyway.
I plunge the knife into myself and I fall to the floor.
Im not loosing enough blood.
With a shaking hand I plunge the knife again, and again.
I feel the world start to slip away.

*Tess*

I stare in horror at Max and Maria and then before I can say anything Liz runs. Not long after that I'm hit by a massive amount of pain and I double over crumpling to the floor. "I look up at Max and Maria through my tears. "I hope your happy because Liz is dying. You killed her." I say as the tears fall from my face.

I reach out with the little strength I had left into Tess's mind.
"Im sorry T..Tess..."

*Tess*

"No Liz don't leave me. Tell me where you are." I cry out to her in my mind

~Max~
"Liz," I say insantly.

"She's oh my god!"

"Max!"

"She's gone. I can feel her slipping."

As I fall into the darkness, as Maria tries to help us both, but Liz has to surrvive on her own, without me.

"It's a test, from the elders," I say in hoarse voice.

And I fall deeper in the flash along with Liz.

Darkness, lothe, and fear. Death's calling.
