ooc: well, I don't really know what to post for Kels (or for Kyle half of the time) but as long as you can work with what I post


KELS

"So, you are enjoying this then? I don't mean the cameras alone, also the others, the city, work ..."

I glance over to Liz and smile when I see her dance with her dad. Guess her family doesn't want to leave yet.

*Michael*

"I guess," I say, gruffly. I shrug like it's nothing, but really it hasn't been quite what I expected. Hell, Michael Guerin should never be the odd man out. I can only hope that the audience at home is appreciating me more than my housemates are.

The song ends and I slow my step. "Would you have come on the show, instead of Liz, if they had asked?" Liz is nice enough but I think Kels might have been more fun.



*Max*

Kyle goes off to fetch himself a drink so I start to dance with Tess. She's a lovely dancer, but I'm watching the crowd, too. Isabel and Maria seem to have left the dance floor and Alex is waiting near the bar. The strangest thing is to see Michael with Kels. I only hope he's not creating a problem for Liz's friend.

Soon enough the dance ends. "Are you ready for a drink now?" I ask Tess.

KELS

I think about Michael's question for a moment. "No, I wouldn't. I love my life how it is right now and moving into the house with you guys ... it would have been exicting,I'm sure but it would certainly have changed me too and ... I .... I guess I'm not as daring as you guys are."

Deciding to stop this, I say, "Michael, you are a nice guy, but I have a boyfriend so ... if you are only dancing with me because you are hoping for more then ... sorry. For not saying anything and leading you on."




KYLE

I nod at Alex when I come to a stand next to him.

"So many drinks?" I ask when I see the three drinks in front of him.

"Maria and Isabel." he replies motioning to the untouched ones.

I nod in understanding and order myself a drink and turn back to Alex. "What happened to your face?"

"Jake."

"Asshole Jake?"



ALEX

I nod. "Yeah, he was ... harrassing Isabel I guess and when I asked him to leave ..." I trail off, sure that Kyle gets what happened afterwards,

I still have his words in my mind "the geek never gets the supermodel". Is he right? After all, Isabel is going out with Kyle tomorrow.

"So, excited about tomorrow?" I ask casually.


KYLE

I grin at Whitman's question. The boy's got it bad. Really bad!

"Yeah, I am.I mean, she's one hot girl ... we'll look good together. Not sure if it will get serious. If not, there are stil a lot of hotties in this town." I grin as I look all over the ladies in the club.

"Where is Isabel actually?" I belately ask, last, I saw her with Alex.

"Bathroom, with Maria." Alex replies and I nod. Women and bathrooms ... a huge mystery probably never to be solved.

*Where are our writers for Tess and Liz? I miss you guys!*

*Max*

I walk Tess back to the bar so we can get something to drink, noticing that Liz and her dad are done dancing, too. I hope she's having a good time.

"Hey Alex. Kyle," I say to the two of them, keeping one arm around Tess's slim waist. I raise a hand to call for the bartender's attention, but then turn mine towards the guys.

"How's everything going?" This question is for both of them, but I give particular attention to Alex, raising one eyebrow briefly. He was dancing with Isabel and it looked really promising. He may not be able to answer completely in front of Kyle, but maybe he can give me a hint...


*Michael*

"A guy can always hope, can't he?" I ask with a rakish grin. Then, more seriously, I add. "But no, you've been very clear. You haven't lead me on." She's told me repeatedly she wasn't interested, but that doesn't mean I can't try, right?

"Still, if you're so sure, which of the lovely ladies in the house do you think would be best for me? Right now, I'm thinking Isabel," I say. Tess woud be a great victory if I could get her away from Max, but Isabel is more interesting... But I'm beginning to think my best bet is someone outside the house...

KELS

I ponder Michael's question for a moment. I know who likes who since I'm an outsider and can watch them all.

"You sure you want someone from the house? I mean, if things go wrong, then ... girls will stick together ... it can get very uncomfortable for you then. Besides, doesn't Isabel have a date with Kyle? And I'm getting vibes from her and Alex." (sorry, couldn't resist)




ALEX

I smile when Max and Tess join us.

I shrug at Max's question. "My face is still a bit sure but I guess you know what that feels like." I say with an embarrassed smile. "Maria and Isabel just left for the bathroom."

I turn to Tess. "I guess it is better if we guys never know why you go to the toilets in groups, isn't it?"

Hope that this is okay.

ISABEL

When I walk into the restroom, I find Maria staring moodily at her reflection and roll my eyes. God, she has been so much hard work recently. No wonder Michael hightailed away from her. Would it kill her to smile?

“So, you never told me what’s going on with you?” I state, raising an eyebrow. I’m on a mission to snap Maria out of this depressing state of mind and if talking doesn’t work then I’m going to bitch slap her out of it. There’s only so much misery I can take before I reach breaking point.

“Nothing is wrong with me.” Maria mutters.

Ugh, all she seems to do recently is mumble, mutter and glare. The whole silent treatment is seriously getting old as well. For the love of God, lighten up already.

“Is it Michael?” I ask.

“No.”

“Then what is it?” I ask. I’m starting to get annoyed. I don’t understand why Maria is being all moody. I mean, what the hell is her problem.

“Its nothing.”

“Ugh! Fine, whatever.” I mutter, adjusting a strand of hair. Maria is confusing, Alex is confusing. Nothing makes sense anymore. Its all so….confusing. I’m still determined to reach out to Maria but I know that there’s no point in telling to talk to her when she is being so difficult. Instead, I decide on a different course of action.

Leaving the restroom, I head out onto the dance floor where I had last seen Michael with Kels. Maybe I can make more sense of Maria if I talk to Michael. They’ve been spending a lot of time together lately so maybe he can shine some light on the whole thing.

Gliding onto the floor, I smile sweetly at Kels. “Would you mind if I stole Michael for this dance?”

KELS

I look up at surprise. Wow, that is scary. We just talked about Isabel and now she's here. Spooky!

"Sure, have fun." I grin at the two and leave. Maybe Michael will get lucky after all.

I walk over to the rest of the house mates. "Hey guys, do you mind if I join you?"

*Michael*

"Sure, she has a date with Kyle, but she had dates with Jake, too," I say with a smile. She has a date with Kyle? When did that happen? I wonder, but I don't let it show. It hardly matters. The Guerin charm will win out.

Then, suddenly, she's there. Isabel smiling at Kels and asking to dance with me. Told ya! I give Kels a little grin, 'cause I have a feeling this night is about to get a lot better.

Kels immediately agrees and as she turns away, I put my arms around Isabel. The music keeps going and I start to dance. "Did anyone tell you that you look absolutely fantastic?" She looks great all the time, in my opinion.

ALEX

I smile at Kels when she comes over and then let my eyes drift onto the dance floor. Good thing that I'm already sitting because I was so not prepared for seeing Isabel dancing with ... Michael?

Wow.

She's probably just trying to be nice and to get along with him and she likes dancing that's all. Yeah. That's it.

But I can see a pattern - Jake, Kyle, Michael and Max at the beginning, they are all ... manly men, I guess. While I am ... the nice, goofy, male girlfriend.

I take a big gulp of my orange soda, suddenly wishing it were Tequilla. Guess it wasn't meant to be. I guess I can count myself lucky that at least girls like Ashley who's also funny and good looking take an interest in me.

Turning away from the disturbing sight on the dance floor, I look at the others. "So, do you guys think that Liz really enjoyed her party? and that she was surprised? Personally, I'd say yes."

Oh God, they are all looking at me with pity. Does the whole world know that I love the girl? Already? It ain't even on tv yet.

ISABEL

"Did anyone tell you that you look absolutely fantastic?"

I laugh at Michael’s words but can‘t help but feel pleased. A compliment is a compliment after all. And absolutely fantastic is a pretty good one.

“Well, that is certainly a improvement on just plain good.” I grin, remembering Michael’s earlier attempt at complimenting me. “I think that might just be the nicest thing anyone has said to me all night.”
