"We can have normal lives if we take care of Nicholas and Khivar. You know, ever since Liz left, you've been a completely different guy. And I'm not the only one who's noticed, trust me. Our parent's have noticed, Michael, Maria and Kyle. Your definitely not the same person when your not with Liz. Your more distant, colder, and way more bossier. And I know I'm right because, Liz came back from L.A only yesterday and you're already acting like the brother I knew and want again. Your such a good guy, Max, and you don't even realise it. Your an amazing and caring father and you're alway's trying to make the right decision about thing's. But, I mean, you just gotta try let the past go and start looking towards the future. Let go of all this alien crap, don't you want a normal life? Don't you want your son to have a mother? You can have all that, Max, and you will, only you just gotta try and let go of the past and stop blaming yourself for everything that's happened to us and I know you can."

I sigh. "Isabel, I know that Ive changed. And I hate who I've become. But I don't see a way out of being this...person. I just...I don't think I deserve forgiveness Isabel. I screwed up. I brought this all on myself. And all I want now is...is for Liz to be happy. God I would love to just...be with Liz again. But she's moved on Isabel. And I don't think I would make it if we got together and...and she decided she couldn't be with me and left again."

I sigh and sit down on the pavement. "But I also know I think Im gonna be ten times worse if she leaves without me saying something."
I put my head in my hands. "Im just so...lost"

"She'll come around, I really think she likes you, Nath. And I know that you like her. Thing's will fix itself between the two of you, you'll see."

"I hope so. But I know a couple that will be together again if you let him in"
I smile at her.
"You know you should talk to him." I say. "Or at least talk to his sister...get her to tell you what Ive already told you, which is he loves you"

He slowly brings himself to sit down on the sidewalk.

"Im just so...lost"

"I know," I say with a small sigh as I sit down next to him on the sidewalk. I placed my arm around his shoulders and gave him a small squeeze. "Just talk to her, Max. I'm sure you won't feel lost for very long if you do."

"I hope so. But I know a couple that will be together again if you let him in. You know you should talk to him, Or at least talk to his sister...get her to tell you what Ive already told you, which is he loves you"

"Okay," I said finally. "I'll talk to him. After we find Kyle." I let out a small sigh. "Dammnit, we've looked everywhere and he's not anywhere to be found. We better go back and find Isabel and Max, hopefully they'll hsve had more luck than us. Come on."

"But what would I say. I mean somehow I dont think "Hey Liz, Im sorry about what happened with Tess but I love you so stay here with me Roswell and forget all about LA so youve basically waisted the last 7 years of your life. By the way, would you also be the new mother of my child?"

I roll my eyes. "I mean... what if she... says we can never be and tells me to move on. I cant imagine anything worse"

"Okay, I'll talk to him. After we find Kyle. Dammnit, we've looked everywhere and he's not anywhere to be found. We better go back and find Isabel and Max, hopefully they'll hsve had more luck than us. Come on."

We turn around and start walking back. Eventually I see Max and Isabel in the distance sitting down. Max looks....well...gloomy.
"Im guessing they didn't find them" I mutter.

"Im guessing they didn't find them"

"Guess not," I say we get closer to them. They obviously don't seem to know that we're getting closer to them and I can see that the two seem to be having some sort of conversation.

"I don't think she'd react that way, Max."

I don't want to interrupt their conversation but, we have to find Kyle.

"Hey guy's," I say loudly, stating our presence. They both turn around and I can see the slight look of surprise on Isabel's face. "We looked everwhere but we couldn't find him."

I look round to see Liz and Nathan...without Kyle. I immediately stand up.
"We looked everwhere but we couldn't find him."

I sigh again. "Same here. Damn it!" I mutter angrily.

"So what happens now? Where do we look?" I ask, looking at Max. He seems to be the one every one takes orders from.

I sigh again. "I don't know. We should really wait for Maria and Michael to get here. I don't want anyone else going missing on us" I say. I look at Isabel and Liz, "Unless you two have a better idea?"

Nathan asks, looking at Max.

"I don't know. We should really wait for Maria and Michael to get here. I don't want anyone else going missing on us. Unless you two have a better idea?"

I sighed. What is there to do? Suddenly my eye's widen in surprise as I look over Max's shoulder. There, walking on the sidewalk and coming towards us is none other than Kyle himself.

"Kyle!" I say excitedely as I break into a grin.

I watch as Liz's eyes widen.
"Kyle!"

I quickly turn on the spot and sure enough, there he is, walking towards us.
"God Kyle, where'd ya go!" I snap. Then I think...yeah....Liz wont be happy if Im being grumpy so I try and control my annoyance.
"Thank God your ok." I say. I sigh. "Well now were just waiting for Michael and Maria I guess...."

I look over at Isabel and Kyle...hmm...
"Hey Isabel right? I was just wondering if you could tell me about Liz's past. I would love to know any dirt..."
I give Isabel a little look and give a pointed look at Max and Liz.
"Hey maybe Kyle can come too..."

"Eh? Kyle wont remember anything...." I say confused.

Thank God he's okay! God, he scared the crap out of us!

"God Kyle, where'd ya go!" Max starts but then he stops. "Thank God your ok. Well now were just waiting for Michael and Maria I guess...."

Before I can say anything else, Nathan starts talking to Isabel.

"Hey Isabel right? I was just wondering if you could tell me about Liz's past. I would love to know any dirt...Hey maybe Kyle can come too..."

"Eh? Kyle wont remember anything...." Max says, looking confused. I can't help but frown a little at Nathan. Where is he going with this...That's when it hits me. He wants to leave me all alone with Max! I'll kill him.

"Well then he'll learn something new too! Come on Isabel what do you say?"

I watch as Isabel seems to brighten up and nod. She grabs Kyle by the arm and the two leave me and Max standing alone on the sidewalk. This is not good. I swear I'm gonna kill Nathan when I get him alone.

I swallow and scratch my ear nervously as I watch the others go off. I cant believe Isabel did that to me. God now what do I do!
I sit back down on the sidewalk and look up at her. "So um....how are you?" I ask lamely.
God Im such an idiot.
"Im sorry about what I said about thinking about you, I dont know where that came from" I suddenly say.
Oh dear god can this get anyworse! "Erm...actually thats not true...I..."
I stand up. Yeah go now.
"Actually I better go back to the jeep and get my phone to check my parents are back" I say as I start to walk away.

I watch in horror as Nathan, Isabel and Kyle leave. What am I suppose to do now? What am I suppose to say!?

Before I have a chance to mumble something, I watch as Max sits back down on the sidewalk and looks up at me.

"So um....how are you? Im sorry about what I said about thinking about you, I dont know where that came from...Erm...actually thats not true...I..."

He stands back up. "Actually I better go back to the jeep and get my phone to check my parents are back" And then he starts to walk off.

What do I do now? Should I go after him? Should I stay here? Or maybe I should just head back inside the Crashdown and kick Nathan's ass for leaving me all alone...

I have to go after him. It's what I have to do. After the conversation I just had with Nathan, I think it's the right thing to do. Or at least I sure as hell hope so. I'll kill Nathan for good if I get my heart crushed after this.

I take a deep breath, close my eye's momentarily and then quickly re-open them.

"Max," I call out to him. "Wait."

"So," I said as we re-entered the Crashdown. "Do you really want to know the dirt on Liz's past? Or did you just want to get Liz and Max alone so they could talk?" I smiled up at him. "No that I'm complaining."
