There was still silence on the other end, "Hello? Alex are you still there?" I asked curiously. Because if he did hang up on me...well, thats it--just then he began to speak.

"Yeah, sorry, I'm still here. I was just trying to figure out if they guys will tag alone and ... whose the second friend you are bringing?" I say hastily, worried that she might hang up on me.

"Oh...umm--I have to go...I'm late for an appoinment but umm...I'm bringing Maria and Liz--so you can decided the other person...when I see you tonight. I'm sure any person is fine...just make sure that your friends will be there--and I'm sure you'll have fun! That's one thing you don't have to worried about. See you later Alex. Bye" and with that..without another word I hung up the phone. I can't believe I just did that...I had a date for tonight...now I just had to tell the girls, I had to get them there one way or another. I hurried up and got dressed and everything...I knew it was my day off, but I had to go to the bookstore to talk to them...I walk in and they are suprised to see me.
"Liz, Maria...I need a favor!" I ask them. "I need you guys to come with me to see the guys we met last night...Please..they one I met is so cute...It's all set up--I just need you guys to there! Please so you'll come" I wait for there reply.

I keep the phone up to my ear for a few moments after isabel abrubtly hang up on me. Did I say something wrong? Whatever, I have to get the guys to come with me.

Liz is the dark haired one who was around Max most of the time yesterday. Okay, Max and Liz. Maria? Hm ...

"Michael, did you talk to a Maria yesterday?" I ask my friend, hoping that I don't destroy his concentration.

"No, she was probably the blonde I was trying to avoid." I mumble as I continue playing the game. The last thing I need is for my mind to wander to her again. The game had served as a distraction for a while but the conversation Alex was having pretty much blew that out of the water. Damn women.

Avoiding her? That is not good - I can't appear with only one friend when Isabel brings two girls. Not that Max would mind but still ...

"Why were you avoiding her?" it is not Michael's style to avoid beautiful women.

"It was either avoid her or jump her bones and you know my history with women. Trust me, it wasn't easy. I had to fight to keep from going around her. Why do women have to look that damn good?" I sigh. It shouldn't be legal for a woman to look like that. It's a health hazard. "Funny thing is, if I was in the situation again, I'm not so sure I'd be able to avoid her. It was too damn hard the first time." I rolled my eyes.

"What the hell's wrong with me anyway? Most guys would have jumped on that like there was no tomorrow. I went running for the hills."

I frown a bit, thinking whether I could get him to join me or not. "Isabel just called and asked me out for a drink. She's bringing her friends Liz and Maria along. I'm supposed to be bring Max along and someone for Maria. So ... you won't be alone with her and I can keep you from jumping her. Besides, Max and two girls? You really wanna see that happening?" I ask with a grin.

Letting out a deep breath, I shut off the game and looked at him, my eyebrows furrowed. "Fine, I'll go. But I'm not making any promises. If the chic gives me a wierd vibe, I'm out of there."

I sigh in relief. "Thanks man. Isabel only said I had to bring two friends, not that they have to stay the whole time. So, how do you like the game?" I ask, changing the subject. I can't forget to call Max later, tough.
