"I don't mind either" I answered,so Alex handed me the reins to the chestnut mare
I got on after handing the basket to Alex who strapped it on to his horse

(ooc: Ah, I missed a lot again! I'm just going to start off where the story is, rather than going back.)

"Wait a moment," I called indignantly, rushing to catch up to the men. Maxwell lagged back, and ended up being the one I caught up to. This, and the annoyance over the men trying to get our horses ready, cause my voice to turn sharp. "I can tack up my own horse, thank you very much. I've been doing it since I was old enough to walk."

I proceeded to march down to the stables, but I had arrived too late. The men had already gotten the horses ready; Michael handed me the reigns to a handsome bay mare.

Kyle

Once everyone was saddled up I told them about the day's plan,
"Listen up people,we'll be picnicking on the banks of a river which is about half an hours ride from here.
The river is pretty shallow at this time of year so we can also go in.The area is very beautiful,Maria can show you girls around if you'll are interested,she knows the place well."

I changed into Maria's breeches, thinking they looked quite silly, but also realizing that if I was going to learn how to ride, I was going to have to dress appropriately. I walked back into the kitchen, and panicked when I saw no one there. Oh, no! Did they leave without me? I flew through the back doors and ran towards the stable. I glanced back to make sure no one saw me.... and collided right into a hard, warm body. I almost fell, but he caught me by the shoulders and set me upright.

"Count Maxwell, I'm so sorry!" I said, blushing furiously.

(OOC: POM just told me she won't be back til later...she has to go to work )

"Well...shall we?" I ask smiling as I get on my horse.

"Yeah I can if anyone wants me to" I said smiling. I quickly mounted my horse, amazed that I had managed to do it with dignity.

Kyle

"Hold on...Tess and Max aren't here" I said worriedly jumping of my horse "I'll go see what's keeping them"

I ran round the back and saw Max with his hands on Tess's shoulders,"Damn you Maxwell" I cursed under my breath

"Is everything alright?" I asked loudly while walking up to them

Isabel

I was getting impatient sitting up on the horse waiting for Kyle,Max and Tess to show up so I had an idea...

"Say why don't we split up" I suggested...the others looked at me inquiringly so I continued..."Maria,Michael,Alex and I will go on ahead and set up the picnic,Lizzie you wait for those three and come with them."

Maria and Michael seemed to have no problem with the idea and Alex nodded his head in agreement so Lizzie didnt' protest as she was out-numbered though she did give me a withering look.I chose to ignore it.

"Great! Let's go!" I said smiling at Isabel. This should be intresting!

"Okay, well lead the way Maria." I said.

"Right-o!" I said as I started to trot forward.

Isabel

"Now this is more like it" I said jovially "rather than sitting there waiting for that love triangle to sort itself out."

"Alex how long have you known Michael?" I asked him as Maria and Michael were out of hearing distance.I thought it would be a good idea to pump Alex for information on Michael for Maria's sake
