The sunlight pours into my bedroom, forcing me to open my eyes. Ugh, I hate mornings. The only thing I hate more then mornings are people who love mornings and act like Mary bleeding Sunshine when all I want to do is crawl back under the covers and sleep until noon.
I sigh in annoyance before climbing out of my four poster bed and when I say climb, I actually do mean climb. I had my bed specially made and its huge and pretty high of the ground. So high in fact that I had to have some special steps made so that I can get in and out of it. Well, I consider it to be high since I’m so short but I love it. Its like a whole another room.
I pad across the room to where Gucci sleeps in his very own mini version of my bed. What? Of course, my dog is going to have his own bed. He deserves it for being so cute. He deserves to be spoilt and have all the best things in life, like that diamond collar I saw, I’ve really got to get around to ordering it. Maybe I should get a personal assistant like Angela but then again, what a stress. It must be so annoying to have that person around you all the time.
Holding Gucci in the croak of my arm, I grab my cell phone and head out of my wing of the house, down the flight of stairs to the kitchen. Kyan is already in the kitchen when I arrive and he looks like he’s been running. What a idiot! Walking down all those stairs is the only work out I need so I don’t see why it should be any different for him.
“Morning,” He mumbles through a mouth full of cereal.
I wrinkle my nose in disgust. Eww, that is so gross. Brothers are so disgusting. Why couldn’t I have been a only child? Hell, even a sister would have been better then a brother. No, wait. Scratch the whole sister thing. There’s only room for one princess in my daddy’s life and that’s me.
“Morning,” I repeat, barely able to keep the disgust out of my voice as I watch him eat. Its so disgusting. I should look away but I can’t. I cover Gucci’s eyes because there’s no way I want my baby being scarred for life.
Finally tearing my eyes tearing my eyes away from the car wreak that is Kyan, I grab myself a glass of orange juice while I wait for our housekeeper to come and make me some breakfast. I would totally make it for myself if I knew how before you say anything mean and also Mrs. D, that’s our housekeeper, doesn’t like anyone touching anything in the kitchen so there.
Flipping my cell phone open, I ignore Kyan as I hit speed dial and call Angela. That bitch better be up already otherwise I’m going to go to the spa without her.

I doubt the guy that Isabel met last night will have the guy I met there for the date. Although I suppose one night off would be good, unless whatever guy I'm being set up with for this date is worthy of my skills, unfortunately not many are. But there are men with enough money to please me for the moment, you just have to know how to pick the winners from the losers, naturally that comes easy to me.
I stay quiet for a moment, exchanging a look with Liz, wondering if she's going to take her up on the offer before answering. "I suppose I can do you this favor, but only because you know I love you." I smile sweetly and turn to Liz.

Walking into the hallway, I grabbed my cell phone from my pocket and dialed the number to Paulinos. It rang a few times before someone picked up.
~Paulino~
"Paulinos."
~Michael~
"Paulino. It's Michael."
~Paulino~
"Michael, I'm glad you called. Can you meet me here in twenty minutes?"
~Michael~
"Can do. Be there soon." He hung up the phone and walked back to Alex's office, noticing he was also on the phone.
Quietly, he motioned to Alex and whispered. "I have to go meet Paulino. What time and where do you want to meet at later?"

I was so bored when I woke early this morning, not that I sleep late, ever. I'm up bright and early every morning, just like the sun, cause I'm a ray of sunshine. Unless of course I'm hung over in which case you can find me under the covers wanting someone to bash my head in with the nearest vase.
I know it's hard to believe that I'm bored, because it's me afterall but it is true. Alert the presses people, except now I'm on my way over to Quinn's house, I'm that bored. I'm kidding but I am driving over to house her, where that horrible but sexy brother of hers is going to be.
Parking the car I step out, my heels making click clacks on the ground as I walk towards the front door, not bothering to knock I walk in, "Quinn?" I say loudly.

Isabel:
Looking from Liz to Maria...hoping that they would give in to my favor...and when Maria finally agreed...I was beaming.."I love you too!" I shouted as I ran over and hugged her. We broke away to look at Liz... "C'mon Liz...please...do this one thing for me, and if it goes horribly wrong for you..or for either of you...I will find a way to make it up for you, I'll do anything you want--just name it!" Maria and I were trying to lure her into saying yes...and finally it worked. and we all join in a group hug...thank you ladies!" I screeched out. "Okay...here's the deal...we are going to meet them over there at 9 o'clock--It's not a date...we're just going over there to have a drink or two, and what ever happens after that--happens..." I said as I tried not to smile. " I gotta go!" Looking at my watch--Just be home before eight okay." They both nodded and smiled.."Later babes.." I put back on my sunglasses and was heading for my car, when I realized that I didn't need to be anywhere. Just one thought crossed in my mind 'SHOPPING'--I shruged and thought to myself-- "why not?" I smiled and went into the trendiest shop on the block, and tried to find a dress that would make all the men drool at the club tonight.

“Quinn?” Angela’s voice calls from the front hall. She must have let herself in. Huh, speak of the devil and she will appear. That was a joke by the way. Angela isn’t really the devil although she does try to get people to think that she is. I however know the truth about my best friend. I flip my cell phone back into place and leave the kitchen to go and greet her with Gucci following beside my feet.
“Hey Angela, what’s up girl?” I say with a smile at her. I notice her outfit, which is hot and decided not to wear pink that day since there is nothing worse then friends that match. I mean, hello. Get a life already.

Glancing over at my night stand I note the time and shoot straight up to a standing position. It was half past nine, and I was still sleeping. Jumping out of bed, I fumble in my drawers for a pair sweatpants and a tee shirt. After dressing, I swing into my living room to grab my keys, wallet and blackberry and rush out the door of my apartment and head toward the elevator banks. After pressing the down button, I call up my office on the blackberry.
"Kyle Valenti's Office" my secretary greets.
"It's me..." I say, as I climb into the elevator that has just arrived and press the button labeled Equinox.
"...any calls?" I ask, while pulling out a card from my wallet.
"Actually, Winthorpe called." She said, as I put my wallet and keys into my pockets
"Oh yeah, what'd ol' Eu-gene want?" I say emphasizing the two syllables his name took up.
"He said to say...." She began, "...he's waving the white flag and that he'll see you next week to go over the details?" She finished, questioningly.
"Yes!" I say, unable to hide my excitement.
"What does that mean?" she asks me curiously.
"It means old Eugene is finally going to sell me his stake in Tyson Oil." I say, as the elevator comes to a stop and the doors open out into the grandiose lobby of my apartment building.
"And that's a good thing, I take it?" she says, feigning naivete, as I make my way through the lobby.
"Yes, that's a very good thing" I say, coming to two glass doors with the word EQUINOX etched into the glass.
"Tyson's been in the red for the last three fiscal years, why would you want to buy them ?" she says inquisitively.
"Been doing your homework, I see" I say, slightly impressed.
"A girl must!" she replies, with no trance of a giggle.
"It's true, the company has posted some negative numbers, but its not the company's fault, it's those ignorant board of directors that are running that gold mine into the ground." I say, dipping my membership card in the card reader stationed next to the glass doors to the gym. "Of course, their not doing it intentionally, its more a matter of their ineptness when it comes to the business of drilling."
"And let me guess...your going to save them, from themselves" she says, laughing slightly.
"That I am, and makes bundles of money doing it ,too!" I say, opening the doors to the gym and walking through them.
"So, you coming in today?" she asks, the sound of her typing fingers filling my ears.
"Wasn't planning on it" I reply, waving to a few people as I make my way through the gym.
"Are you reachable?" she asks.
"Call me if you need me" I say, coming to a door of frosted glass, that have the words Elite Club etched onto it's glass front.
"Will do!" she says and promptly hangs up. Swiping my card a second time, I open the door and enter the room, which is identical to the large communal gym, only slightly smaller. It was empty, just as I suspected, most of the young professionals that frequented the club, would be at work, as it was (I checked the wall clock) 9:45am.
Removing my wallet and keys from my pockets, I placed them in a holding try on a near by tread mill. Reaching for a tiny cable that was dangling from the machine, I promptly plugged my blackberry into it and turned the device to voice command.
Stepping onto the treadmill, I used the on board remote control to turn the plasma display in front of me on and turned on Money Watch. Starting up the treadmill, I began at a brisk walking pace to warm up. After about ten minutes, I increased both the speed and incline and broke into a comfortable jog.
"Call, Te..." I started to say as a vision of the gorgeous blonde haired, blue eyed pixie came into mind. Where the hell did that thought come from?
"Invalid!" The electronic device buzzed back.
"Call Mikey" I correct as I adjust the speed of the tread mill and break out into a full sprint, trying to get Tess' face out of my head.
"Calling Michael Guerin The device chirpped back.

(Oops, I was meaning I was waiting for an Alex post, but this is good. I can work with this! I feel really dumb now though. LOL!)
~Michael~
Walking out of Alex's office, I head down to the parking garage to get into my car. It was another damn hot day, as it had been for the past three weeks and it didn't look like it was going to cool off any time soon. Thank God for AC. Starting up the Mustang, I pulled out of the garage and headed down the street, hoping this meeting would go in my favor.
It always seems to be my luck that when I'm in a hurry to get somewhere, I have to hit every red light through town. Rolling my eyes as I pull up to yet another one, I hear the familiar sound of Metallica's Enter Sandman coming from my pants. Grinning, I reach my hand down and fish my cell phone out of my pocket and flip it open, lifting it to my ear.
"Guerin."
