Ok so we came back from camp a week ago, and so far Max and I are going great.

Max has been looking for new jobs…

You’re probably wondering why…???

Why so was I, but it turns out that Max want to get a job where they know how old he really is…

And that they don’t care that he is only 23 and hasn’t got much experience.

I mean how could they not want Max … if anything he is a great teacher.

I mean he did finish at the top of his class and perused his career early …. What more could they want?

RING RING

I hear the phone ringing and it breaks through my thoughts.

“Hello” I say.

“Hey baby” I hear his sweet voice say into the phone.

“How are you doing?”

“I’m fine and you?” I ask in return.

“I’m good” he says and I think about how much I have missed him.

“I miss you” I say and I hear him chuckle.

“It’s only been 3 hours” he says and I sigh.

“So what are you doing?” he asks and I can tell he wants to speak.

“I was just lying in my bed, thinking about you” I say and I hear him groan.

“What are you doing?” I ask with a smile.

“Making dinner, my parents are coming over” he says and I smile.

“So what are you wearing?” I ask and I close my eyes and picture him.

“Jeans and a white button up shirt … how about you gorgeous?” he asks and I smile…

“Nothing” I say and I hear him chock.

“Are you ok?”

“What did you just say?”

“I’m naked” I say laughing.

“Damn it Liz, I thought you were serious” he says as he sighs.

“I am” I say … and I am honestly naked.

“You are going to kill me Liz” he says and I giggle.

“I love you too” I say.

“Ok so I’ll see you soon” he says and I agree.

“Yeah see you soon” I say.

We hang up and I go and put on my pj’s.

I think I’ll just spend the night in bed….

It’s Monday morning and I’m on my way to school.

I have a free period this morning and so does Max… so we are going to get together in his office…

I had I dream last night that we were together on his des…..

“Liz… Chika” I hear Maria say and I snap into reality to see her and Isabel walking my way.

“Hey” I say.

“Day dreaming about lover boy?” Isabel asks and I blush.

“Maybe” I say as I brush past them and walk over to my locker.

From the corner of my eye I see Max walk into his office while staring at me.

“Looks like you guys are up to something” Maria says and I giggle.

“You know me to well” I say before I hear the bell ring.

“We’ll see you later” Isabel says before her and Maria strut of.

Once the hall is cleared and no body is in sight, I walk into Max’s office with a bright smile on my face.

“Hey sexy” I say while walking over to his desk and sitting on the edge, right in front of him.

“Hey gorgeous” he replies and I blush.

“So, I was wondering … I need a little help on some of my work” I say and I see Max smile.

“Really, what’s it about?” he asks playing along…

“Well I was in PE and our teacher started to talk about the human body, and I had absolutely no idea what she was talking about” I say and I see his smile grow even wider.

“Well, I don’t really teach about the human body” he says and I begin to wonder if something is wrong.

“But I’ll give it a try” he says as he lifts me off the table, only to throw everything off it and lay me across it.

“Wow… I like that” I say and he smiles.

“I like you” he says and I smile but it doesn’t reach my eyes.

“I thought you loved me” I joke around with him.

“That’s what I mean baby” he says as he attacks my neck.

“So guess what” Max says as he lifts up my top and throws it to the floor.

“What?” I ask with my eyes shut, enjoying his hands, on my naked chest.

“I found a job” he says and my eyes fly open.

“You did” I ask and he nods.

“Yep and it’s near UNM” he says and I throw my arms around him.

For those of you that do not know … I found out that I got accepted to UNM and now I find out that Max has been accepted to a school near UNM…. This is just great.

“So where is the school?”

“It’s a couple of blocks away” he says and I smile.

“And I’m planning to sell my house” he starts to say and I cut him off.

“What?”

“I’m going to sell my house, so that I can live in the cottage, its close to your university and it’s close to my work, I’ll get to see you more” he says and I smile.

“You really want to do that … for me?” I ask and he nods.

“Not only that but I was wondering if maybe … youwantedtomoveinwithme” he says and rushes through the last part.

“What was that baby?”

“I want you tomovein with me” he says still rushing the middle part…. But I heard him.

“I’m sorry I still can’t hear you” I say wanting to play with him and his nerves.

“I want you to move in with me” he says clearly and I smile as I nod.

“I will, and I heard you the first time” I say and he smiles.

“But only if your sure” I add and he nods his head.

“Yes I am sure, I want you to move in with me” he says and I nod.

He lays me back down on his desk and we make love…

I hope that nobody heard us, but I don’t really care.

I am sooo happy right now … nothing could ever change that.

It’s Saturday morning and I haven’t really been feeling good.

I’m lying in bed and I close my eyes.

I start to drift off when I hear a knock on my door.

“Come in” I say and I open my eyes to see Maria step in.

“Hey chika” she says and I smile slightly.

“The cleaner let me in” she says and I nod.

My parents are on another one of their trips and before they left, they beat me up again.

You know maybe that’s why I don’t feel good.

“So I came by to see how you are?” she says and I smile slightly.

“I’m ok, I just feel sick” I say and she nods.

“So does Max know?”

“Know what?”

“That you are sick?”

“No”

“Why not?”

“I don’t want him to worry about me”

“What?”

“Max has been really busy with all these things that are going on and I don’t want to put another wait on his shoulders” I say.

It’s true, Max is just staying at west Roswell high till the end of the semester, and everyone knows … now he is packing and he is selling his house.

I just don’t want him to worry about me too …

There are more important things to think about.

“But Liz, you’re his girlfriend you guys have been together for 3 months now, I think he should be here, to take care of you” she says and I shake my head.

“That’s what he would want” she adds and I sigh in deafest.

It’s the truth … if Max knew I was sick he would want to be with me.

“Ok, I’m just going to go to the doctor at 10.30 and then I’ll call him and tell him to come over” I say and Maria looks at me shocked.

“What?”

“You want him to come over here … have you forgotten who lives down the streets from you?”

“Who?”

“Pam Troy, Liz I’ll bring you to his place later today … Ok?”

“Its ok, I’ll drive myself” I say and she lets out a frustrated sigh before agreeing.

“Ok … well, I’m going to go, call me after your doctor’s appointment” she says as she leans down and places a kiss on my cheek.

“See you later chika”

“Bye Maria.

When I hear the front door close, I look over at my alarm clock to see that it is 9.45.

I climb out of bed and get ready.

I hope this won’t take too long ….

I’m at the doctor’s office and I am in the waiting room…

I have been here for about 30 minuets and I am about to leave, but I hear the nurse call my name.

I follow the nurse into the check up room and see my doctor waiting for me.

“Hello, Elisabeth” he says as he greets me with a welcoming smile.

I have known him since I was a baby.

And he knows everything about me … and I mean everything.

He knows about how abusive my parents can be and he used to be my best friend.

See that’s what I mean … he is only 7 years older than me and he used to be my buddy when I was in pre-school.

“Hey Nick” I say.

“So what seems to be the problem?”

“I just don’t feel so good”

“It’s not you parents again, is it?”

“No”

“Ok well let’s have a look” he says.

I’m back in the waiting room after my check up and waiting for my results.

While I was in the waiting room I had this sudden feeling to throw up and I did…

I think I’m coming down with a really bad flu.

Or maybe it’s just a 24 hour virus…

“Liz” I look up to see Nick standing there with a weird expression on his face.

I follow him back into the check up room and have a seat.

“Liz, you’re not going to believe this…” he says and I listen the rest of his sentence.

“Ohhhh no” ….

I’m on my way to Max’s house and I can’t see the road that well.

I am crying and my tears are fogging up my view.

I pull up in front of his house and it begins to rain.

Why???

I get out of the car and walk up to his door… and knock.

I am totally soaked and I and freezing my ass off.

I see him coming and I start crying even more.

“Liz” he says as he opens the door and sees my shivering from head to toe.

It’s about 9.30 at night so I don’t have to be worried about anyone seeing me.

After the doctors appointment I went back home to think for a while.

“Baby what are you doing here?” I hear him say as he wraps me in his arms and holds me close to him.

“You’re freezing, are you ok?” he asks as he pushes me back to look down at my face.

I just nod unable to speak.

“Maxwell” I hear someone say from behind him and look back to see … who I’m guessing is Max’s brother Zan.

I swear it weren’t for all the tattoos and the hair do … and ear rings they could be identical.

“Come on sweetie” Max says as he helps me up the stairs.

“What are you doing here?” he asks as he helps me out of my wet clothes and into one of his long shirts.

“I-I have-e to-o talk to-o you” I say still shivering.

“I didn’t hear a word you just said” he says while pulling me close to him.

“I have t-to talk to you” I say a bit clearer this time.

“Ok baby” he says and I can see from his facial expression that he is confused.

“Wait…” he says and I look up at him.

“Maria called me earlier and told me you were sick, she said you were going to the doctors” he says and I see the worry cross his face.

“Are you ok?” he asks and I look up at him with a tear in my eye.

“Max I’m …” I start but I jut don’t know how to say it.

“You’re what baby?” Max says pushing me to go on.

I’m scared that he won’t want me anymore, after he knows.

This is sooo hard for me.

“Max I’m pregnant” I say and I look up at him and see his shocked expression.

“You’re what?” he asks and I feel the first tear roll down my cheek followed by many others.

“I’m pregnant with your baby” I say and I see him look down at me.

I see the shocked look on his face and get up to leave.

“Liz wait” he says as he runs after me.

“Liz”

“What?”

“Where are you going?”

“I’m going to go book an abortion” I say as I begin to run down the stairs.

“Liz” I hear Max say louder as he wraps his arms around my waist, when I reach the door and I am about to leave.

“You can’t do that” he says and I break down.

I fall to the floor and start crying.

“Liz, sweetie” Max says as he wraps his arms around me.

“You hate me, don’t you?” I ask as I just let go of everything I was holding in.

“Liz I could never hate you” he says as he kisses my temple.

“I love you, and I’m going to love our baby” he says with a smile.

I’m shock…

I am.

“What do you mean?” I ask.

“I mean that I’m going to be a dad and you going to be a mum” he says and his smile grows wider.

“You mean you don’t want me to have an abortion?” I ask as I look up to him and wipe the tears from my eyes.

“No Liz, I don’t” he says and I sigh in relief.

“Liz I want to have our baby, I want to be a father but most of all baby, I want you… and this baby is a miracle” he add and I smile.

“You really mean it?’

“With all my heart” he says as he captures my lips in a sweet kiss.

Oh My God … I am going to be a mother.

Ok so teenage pregnancy ... i really dont see the problem...

I mean i had a friend a couple years back who was only 14 she was older than me and she fell pregnant ...

It didnt matter what people said... she still loved her unborn child...

Her parents didnt approve and she ran away... she ended up falling and losing the baby...

I guess the only people happy were her parents...

A couple weeks later she comitted suicide ...

She hadn't planed to fall pregnant and eventally we found out she was raped... but even though, the point is she still was happy and smiling.

... she stayed strong and thats the way i will remember her...

“So, what are we going to do?” I ask Max as I sit down on the lounge.

“We’ll work something out” he says as he kisses my forehead.

“I don’t believe I am going to be a daddy” he says and I smile at the proud look on his face.

“You can say that again” I hear Zan say as he steps into the room.

“I’m Zan” he says as he hugs me and kisses my cheek.

“I’m Liz” I say and he smiles at me.

“I know” he adds as he looks at max.

“Congratulations Bro” he says as he hugs Max.

“I don’t believe I’m going to be an uncle” he says with a wide smile.

I really don’t believe this… Max wasn’t angry.

In fact he wants to have the baby ….

I am so happy right now … but at the same time I am a bit scared.

There are so many questions running through my head…

What if the school finds out?

What would they do?

What if my parents find out?

What would they do?

What if…..

“Sweetie you ok?” Max asks and I snap back to reality to see him and Zan looking at me worriedly.

“Yeah I was just thinking” I say as I smile at them.

“About what?” Max asks as he comes and sits next to me and hols me.

I tuck my head under his chin.

“What the school would do if they find out” I say and Max moves slightly so he can face me.

“And what my parents would do” I add as I look up at him.
“They’re not going to do anything” he says as he looks down at me.

“I won’t let them” he adds as he leans down and kisses me.

“So what’s your plan, Maxwell” Zan asks and I look up at Max.

“There’s not that much time left till you go to university, I say we keep a low profile until then and after that we go public” he says and I smile.

“It could work” I say and then I turn to see Zan’s confused expression.

“What is it?” I ask.

“Won’t you be showing, by the end of the semester?” he asks and I shake my head.

“There’s only less than two months left, I shouldn’t be showing but if I do, I’ll wear a jacket” I say and Max nods.

“How far along are you?” Max asks and I see the excitement on his face.

“I’m not sure, but they did the test and I should find out sometime this week…but I do have an Idea when “ I say and I see Max raise his eyebrow.

I’m so glad that he is as excited as me…

“The day in the office … on the desk …” I begin to hear and I hear Zan clear his throat.

“A bit too much info” he says and I blush as Max sends him the evil eye.

“So about a week … isn’t that too early?” he asks and I shrug.

“I guess not” I say as I look down at my stomach.

“What about university?” Max asks and I look up and see his sad face.

“Max, I was going to take a year off anyway” I say and he smiles slightly.

“I just didn’t want you to give up your dreams” he says and I cup his face and kiss his lips.

“I didn’t” I say.

“And I won’t” I add.

“Ok” he says with a smile, and this time it reaches his eyes.

I’m so glad that he is not angry.

“So I should go” I say as I stand.

“No, you can stay with me tonight” Max says and I smile while I shake my head.

“My parents are out of town, nothing is going to happen” I say and Max nods.

“That’s why you have to stay, I don’t want my pregnant girlfriend to be alone” he says and I giggle.

I love that … pregnant girlfriend.

“Ok” I agree ….

It’s 12.30 at night and we are in bed…

Zan left earlier and it was nice meeting him.

He was really supportive about our relationship and the baby.

I really can’t wait to have the baby … but then there is a part that scares the shit out of me and that’s ….

Getting fat.

What if Max doesn’t like me once I’m fat?

What if I get ugly?

What if I can’t loose the weight?

I know that I have been asking a lot of questions but can you honestly blame me.

“What are you think?” Max asks.

“I thought you were asleep” I say as I turn and face him.

“I thought you were asleep” he says and I smile.

“I was just thinking about the baby” I say and I know that my expression is sad.

“Baby, why the long face?” he asks as he sits up and pulls me into his arms as I feel the first tear run down my face.

“When I’m as big as a house are you still going to love me?” I say with a sob.

“Ohhhh baby don’t be silly, of course I will” he says and I look up at him.

“You are going to look beautiful” he adds and I wipe my tears.

“Serious?”

“Very”

“You are going to be the prettiest pregnant woman ever” he adds as he leans down and captures my lips.

“Really?” I ask pulling away.

Damn it’s true …. What they say about the whole hormone rollercoaster.

“Really, sweet cheeks” he adds and I smile.

“Now you better get some sleep” he says as he lays back down and pulls me with him.
“Goodnight Max” I say as I close my eyes slightly.

“Goodnight Liz” he says as he kisses my fore head.

“Goodnight baby” he adds as he caresses my stomach.

And that is the last thing I hear, as I dose off…

I wake up in Max’s strong arms and turn to face him.

“Morning sweetie” he says.

“How long have you been up?”

“A while”

“Why didn’t you wake me?”

“I was too busy watching you sleep”

“Ohhhh … that’s sweet” I say as I blush.

“So what are we doing today?” I ask with a cheerful tone.

“Well I thought we could invite Maria, Michael, Isabel and Alex over and maybe tell them the great news” he says and I smile.

“Ok, that sounds great” I say as I kiss his cheek.

“So how are you feeling?” he asks and I look up into his concerned eyes.

“I feel great Max” I say as I cup his face.

“You don’t have to worry about me” I add as I kiss his lips passionately.

“I know Liz, but I can’t help it” he says as he pulls away and looks down at me.

“You’re fragile and I worry about you all the time, I love you and the worrying part comes along with the love” he adds and I smile.

“Ok” I say as I look into his soulful eyes.

“You’re aloud to worry” I add and he smiles.

“Come on, lets get up” he says as he climbs out of bed.

I look up at him as he walks around to my side… I’m not so sure what his doing.

“Let’s have a bath” he adds as he lifts me up in his strong, masculine arms and carry’s me into the join bathroom.

I giggle as he places me on the bathroom bench.

“Max?”

“Yeah?”

“I just want to apologise in advance for all the trouble I’m going to clause” I say with a sad smile and I see Max look up at me.

“Baby what are you talking about?”

“Well I want to apologise now, for how I’m going to be acting in about 2 or 3 months” I say and Max smiles as he walks over to me.

“You know what they say about the whole hormonal rollercoaster?” I ask and he nods his head as I wrap my legs around his waist.

“Well, it’s all true” I add and he smiles before picking me up and stepping into the warm water.

“Baby, don’t apologise … this is going to be great” he says and I smile at him, before relaxing and closing my eyes.

“So you’re pregnant?” Maria asks with a wide smile on her face.

The gang got here about an hour ago and Max and I decided to wait a while before telling them.

“I don’t believe this” Isabel says with tears of joy in her eyes.

We have just been sitting around playing games and watching television.

“This is sooo great” Michael says as he goes and pats Max on the back.

“I’m gonna be an uncle” Alex says and I smile.

I love how supportive they are being … it’s great.

“So you guys are ok with it?” Max asks with a hopeful smile.

“Hell yeah” Isabel says and I giggle.

“This is sooo great” Michael repeats and I think his in shock.

10 minuets later we are in front of the television watching ‘Halloween 1’ ….

You know the scary one with Michael Myers, the guy in the white mask…

Let’s just say it is scaring the shit out of me and I’m not sure if I will be able to watch the rest.

Its not that the movie is that scary, but when you add the spooky music and the screaming … it can get very scary.

“You ok there baby?” Max asks and I am in his arms with my face hiding in his shoulder.

“Yeah” I mumble as I open one eye only to see he girl getting stabbed.

“Aaaahhh” I scream.

“Sweetie it’s just a movie” Max says as he wraps his arms around me and sits me on his lap.

“No it’s not, it’s a fucking scary movie” I say as I pout.

“Ok… how about you and Max make out while we watch the movie” Alex says with a smirk and I glare at him while Michael slaps his arm playfully.

“Oii” Alex says as he grabs his arm.

“That hurt” he adds.

“Good” Isabel says as she too slaps him playfully.

“Hahahahhaha” Maria laughs as she watches.

“Thanks for the idea, Alex” Max says as he smile and leans down to capture my lips.

God … I must be the luckiest 18 year old ever…
