I'm former try-hard private school. Also known as MacRob. They didn't like me and kicked me out after 4 1/2 years.
Any ideas for revenge that won't get me thrown in jail?

i got invited 2 my friends melbourne high YEAR 11 formal lyk in 3 weeks... u have ne idea how formal their formals actually are.. ? cause i dnt have the lyk.. ball gown, i only own cocktail dresses... and i dnt wanna buy a formal dress when i'm escorting... i wanna buy my own nice one nxt year (im in yr 10... so personally no formal for me)

private schools have their goods and their bads, bads... stricter rules and u know the lovely drill about fees... they can never have enough
but the good does include a ton of excess holidays


well all i have to say is after my long wait... U2 IS COMING!! =D ... i'm seeing them on a sunday nyt... in november yay!! haha... and best of all its lyk 2 weeks BEFORE my exams and school camp... so its okay =D i'm very happy

Just kidding guys. We know you've been busy. If it wasn't for the fact that I consider sleep overrated sometimes, I'd probably barely be here at all.

Now, to reply to everyone in order:

Vee, no I didn't beat someone up... Came close though. Some of those people were just evil. The main thing was that I wasn't 'keeping up' with everyone else. Well it's not *my* fault I have IDD...Interest Deficit Disorder.
That's an offshot to ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), which is actually what I've been diagnosed with.
I also had a healthy disrespect to the homework rules and the boundary rules that said I had to be on school property during my frees.

Yay. A MHS formal...honour the dork. Their formals probably run along the same lines as a MacRob one. You know, if it weren't for the fact that I have no idea what size you are, or how to get it to you, I'd just say borrow my old formal dress. Only worn twice. Three if you count trying it on in the shop.
Otherwise, just hire one, it's got to be cheaper than buying.

Excess holidays? I hate you. Really. Though MacRob does get more curriculum days than other high schools because the Grand Prix track is right next door. No one would be able to do any work during those days.

It's good that you get to see U2 after all. I'm not so much for going myself, but so long as you have fun. And don't worry, year 10 exams are not important enough that a concert - no matter how much you burst your eardrums - will crack a serious dent in the results.

PS, I'm not really smart. I have a genius level IQ, I'm fairly sure...but I have too many blonde moments to be considered smart.
And yes, that sentence was supposed to make sense.


Less, I'm beyond working hard. Too many double shifts. I'd quit if it weren't for the money.
But I am having a social life. Or at least a life.
Got a few fics in the works, so I'm going to disappear for a bit while I try and finish them.


Em, as for how I am...I'm exhausted beyond all belief- it's just sheer will power getting me through some of my shifts. And I can't say no, cos I need the money.
And then there's that horrible cold/flu going around...

On the bright side, my stepmum's going to have her twins next month!!!

Yeah, it's surprising the things you can find on this board. I've been exploring (AN: I just miskeyed that and it read 'exploiting' for a second) the 'real world' threads...we really are a bunch of crazies, aren't we? But I love going to the recommended fics and the award winners pages, so I can see what other people think is good.

Oh, and about me, since you're new an' all.

I'm Nicki, I'm 21 and a Melbournian. I work technically part time at KFC though I desperately want to quit. And I'm studying to be a librarian.

Oh, and I have a healthy addiction to Krispy Kremes. It's only healthy, because I have limits to spending the whole day just trying to get to Narre Warren to wait for an hour, and then go back home/work.

I think that's the main things.

Oh, anyone know how I can add my own avatar? I'm got this great one from a Chalet School board that I want to use here.

Hey all...it's been two weeks since Vee posted...probably should say something...

Nothing witty coming to mind.

A few gripes about work, that's it. Work is evil. I'm tired, injured...and having a whole lotta fun...

In case you're wondering abou the whole injured thing...you know how we toast the Twisters? I had a fight with the toaster and lost. Second degree burns.

I was getting my Twister out and put my hand on top to steady it when the lid came down. 263 degrees. And yes, it hurt like hell.

Mostly it's just annoying now.

I'm not bothering with claiming compensation. I've been working every day since it happened- I can still use my hand- and on top of that, I'm not actually officially supposed to be using the toaster, and it was after my shift, anyway.

Not worth the effort. I just bandage it up every other day and wear a blue sanitary glove over the top.


Btw, Macca's pays better than KFC, I'm fairly sure. We have better food though.

I sent a request for the avi...I'm actually not sure if I'd be allowed to put it here anyway, because I'm technically stealing it from the other board. I didn't create it, I just saved the image into my hard drive. I don't know who to ask for permission to use it...is there some kind of protocol for this?

Going now- am going to see if anyone's updated their DP fics...
