I like this thread.
My dumb guy fact is about my friend Mark who managed to break a couple of bones in his wrist and lower arm trying to open a door.
He was at a party, got pretty drunk and decided to go outside for some fresh air. It was a heavy wooden door that you have to pull towards you. Despite the fact that there was a handle on the door and one of those big signs saying 'PULL' Mark thought you had to push it open. He threw himself against it, arm outstretched, his hand smashed against the door and when the door didn't open the weight of his body landed on his arm.
When I found out about it I laughed my ass off and he wouldn't talk to me for the rest of the day.
