Last night's ep was definitely a fanboy ep, though I did love the lack of Jack.

Sawyer's definitely not going to leave the island, so I'll be interested to see if he ends up conning Flocke.

Hmm, so now we have all these "candidates." Question, though: Why is Kate not a candidate? That doesn't make much sense. Considering Hurley's connection to the numbers, I'm actually most inclined to believe that he is the prime candidate to take over Jacob's role.

Best part of the episode hands down was seeing Ben bitching about the coffee machine in the alt-reality.

I found that to be strange as well April. Why wasn't Kate's name there on the cave wall? Hmmm ...

Either there's a good reason for it or the writers simply forgot. I don't think they'd forget, though. It's possible we might see it in the next episode if Sawyer and Flocke are still there.

Some people have theorized that the Locke/Smokey will choose Sawyer as a candidate and Jacob will choose Jack as a candidate and that the series will end with Jack and Sawyer sitting on the beach with Sawyer telling Jack how much he wants to kill him, much like Jacob and the Man in Black did at the start of the season 5 finale. Part of me finds that really intriguing, though I think Sawyer (and to a much lesser extent Jack) is too smart to let that happen.

Hmmm ... that could be a possibility. Also, the thing about the numbers is bugging me. Why were certain numbers corresponding with certain people (ex. Locke had the number 4 next to his name and Sayid was number 16? - I think ... I can't remember).

And if so ... what about Claire? Was her name up there as well? Could that explain her transformation?

Hurley was number 8 and Sawyer was number 15. Jack was number 23 and Kwon (either Sun or Jin though I'm betting Jin) was 42. I guess people get their names crossed out when they die/are "infected?" Some people were also saying that they saw Ethan's last name up there, possibly Ben's name, too. Very confusing.

I really lurrve Sawyer. I love him. He's so funny lol. He just makes me laugh.

Two Sawyer-less episodes in a row. This is an absolute TRAVESTY.

I thought this week's episode was a lot better than last week's, though. I felt like we were actually doing something in the flash-sideways scenes this week, rather than just watching something like we did in the Jack-centric.

And wow, was the ending of this episode creepy or what? Loved it! I think it's safe to say that Sayid has gone to Flocke's side now. I still don't for one second believe that Sawyer is truly on his side, though.

Next week looks good. A Ben-centric! And after that, a Sawyer-centric! Thank God.

I was just mentioning and bemoaning that fact to my brother on the phone yesterday during the episode. Pissed off man! I WAS PISSED OFF!
