Chapter 31
That night, they all met at the Crashdown after closing. All the parents were asked to stay home except for Valenti who they may need his immediate help. The young adults promised to keep their parents informed on their decisions and would listen to any recommendations the next day.
When Max, Maria, Tess and Kyle entered the back of the restaurant, Michael and Jeff were manning the grills fixing everyone dinner. The others were out in the dinning area closing the blinds and fixing their drinks. Once everything was finished and the young ones were eating, Jeff excused himself and went upstairs to his apartment.
With stomachs full and the dishes cleaned, the gang decided to get down to business.
“There are several subjects we need to discuss tonight.” Max announced. “I don’t know if we will solve any of them but at least they will be on the floor for us to think about. I know that I am what the Antarians see as King but this is not going to be a Monarchy. We will all decide what to do. This involves all of us, Hybrids, Humans, and Antarians.” He said looking to Tristen. “You will be our representative, Tristen, for the Antarians right now.”
Tristen nodded but kept his silence.
“Ok, the first thing should be how we are going to explain the sudden appearance of Maria, Alex, Kyle, and Liz. They disappeared 20 years ago. Also, two of them are about to have a child in six weeks and they don’t look pregnant right now. Any suggestions?”
The diner was filled with silence for a moment.
“Have you considered telling everyone the truth? That aliens do exist.” This came from Michael. The one who has always been so adamant about keeping their secret and not letting anyone else in. “Don’t look at me like that.” He continued when he received shocked stares from his fellow hybrids. “I mean, think about it. We’ve got three ships filled with alien beings coming to Earth, Antarians and most likely Khivar not far behind to start a war, pissed at us all. This is not something that will go unnoticed in the end.”
“Michael’s got a point.” Tess said.
“Yes.” Max nodded slowly. “But I think that we should try to avoid the exposure for as long as possible. If the people of Earth find out that some of the abduction stories are real and that hundreds of aliens are coming to settle on Earth, they may see it as an invasion and panic. Then the news of aliens and humans mating, even if we are half human, will just give them another reason to be afraid.” Max reasoned.
“I have to agree with Max.” Liz said. “If we are to help get the Antarians settled into their new home, it must be done without the world’s knowledge. It will also keep us and our families safer.”
The others agreed that for now that any alien status would be kept a secret.
“Ok, but we can’t hide out for six weeks.” Alex said. “We’ve got so much to prepare for. We have to be out and about eventually.”
“I’ve been thinking.” Jim said quietly. He knew he was mainly there as an observer and a representative for the parents, but he was also the Sheriff and that could have some advantages for them.
“Your cover story when you went away to Antar was that you decided to tour Europe, correct?” The hybrids nodded. “Ok then, we can say that you met the others over there. Got to know each other and then found out who they really were.”
“We can say that we were kidnapped by a man and woman.” Kyle started as an idea formed in his head. “They took us out of the country, we’ll find a small place that no one really knows much about, and that they raised us as their children, brothers and sisters. They died in an accident right before we met all of you and as you were helping us clean out the house that we sold, we found out the truth.”
“That sounds doable.” Isabel said.
“Yes, we can make up a last name and records for everything.” Maria said turning to Kyra. “The Granolith has all kinds of powers, can it help us with all of that.”
Kyra smiled at the young Queen. “Yes, I believe it can.”
“As for our current condition…” Liz said. “We have a little time to still figure out how to handle it. Right?” She looked at Max and the others. Everyone agreed with her.
“OK, next item on the list.” Max announced. “Housing.”
“Yes, we need to work on something else.” Michael said and receiving a glare from Liz. He shrugged. “I’m sorry baby. I know that you want to be near your parents and all but well…sometimes it’s…well…uncomfortable doing it with them right next door.”
There were smiles and a few chuckles all round because they all felt that way.
“With the development of the pregnancy side effects the girls are having, I would have to suggest that we all need a home big enough for the ten of us plus the four new additions.”
“Max, what you are talking about will cost…” Isabel started.
“A fortune.” Tess finished.
“Not quite a fortune because we have Uncle Charles.” Max smiled at Alex.
“Max and I talked to my dad this evening before coming here. He’s got a large piece of property just outside of town that we can use to build on.”
“But that takes more time than we have.” Michael said a little agitated. He knew that it could take almost a year to build a new home, especially one that big.
“Not with the help of the Granolith.” Kyra spoke up seeing where Max was going with all of this. “There is a lot that it can do that you still have to learn about. It will of course take me, the Keepers, Liz and the King to do all that is needed but it is equipped to do most of what you require. We may be able to have most of it done by the end of the week if Liz and Tess can handle it in their condition.” She smiled, pleased that she could actually contribute to the family’s well being instead of just being a prophet.
Liz and Tess looked at Kyra and nodded. They’d do anything to help.
“Since the property is outside of town and quite secluded, it should not draw too much attention and all the permits and work orders will be handled by the Granolith as well.” Alex said.
“While we are on the subject of the Granolith, Tristen and Kyra say that the cave that houses it also has tunnels and caverns beneath it.” Max started the next subject on their list. “With some slight tweaking and some creativity, we can make them into a control center and house all of our guests for a short time until they can slowly integrate into Earth’s societies.”
Tristen nodded. “We can slowly integrate them with the humans just as you have been able to blend in. This gives us time to teach your customs and ways to those that don’t already know. Also, it allows us to set up a government and the command center.”
The others agreed, each volunteering to help as needed.
“Ok, next on the list are jobs.” Max announced and looked around the group. “It’s obvious that the girls will not hold normal jobs right now.”
Liz immediately felt some hostility radiating from Tess and Isabel so she spoke up before they could. “That is true but we will have plenty to keep us busy until our children come. We can help Tristen and Kyra set us things so that everything will be ready when Niobe and the others arrive.”
She felt that this appeased them and sighed in relief. The last thing everyone needed was two unhappy pregnant hybrids. These hormones could be trying on a person’s mental being along with the guys’ physical being.
“I went by the UFO Center today.” Michael spoke up. “Milton asked about you Max. As we were talking he mentioned something about putting the place up for sale. If we can make an offer before he puts it on the market, it may be cheaper for us. Also running the UFO Center is like hiding in plain sight right? It may give us some interesting resources also.”
Max nodded and asked everyone’s opinion. Everyone agreed and said that between the eight of them, they could easily run the place. Michael smiled and said that he and Max would talk to Philip the next day about it.
“Last subject before we go home.” Max said.
“Khivar.” Kyra said and Max nodded.
The room was silent for a minute, no one really wanting to discuss him. “He’s on his way isn’t he?” Maria asked, her hand going protectively to her stomach. Her nightmare was still vivid in her mind.
“Yes. He seeks revenge. On all of you but most of all on you Max. You have taken away everything he’s worked so hard for. Once more, you have found a way to have what he wanted.” Kyra said looking at Max.
Max sighed and rubbed tiredly at his neck. He felt so burdened at the moment. He had not asked to be King, in fact he tried to deny it, but it seems as if the Antarians will not let him escape. He was a leader whether he wanted it or not. He’d been born twice now a leader so a leader he will be.
Maria felt Max’s turmoil and laid her hand over one of his. ‘I’m here. Let the others help carry your burden. You can’t do this alone.’ Maria encouraged her mate.
Max sent his love to Maria and squeezed her hand. “I know but now I wish I would have killed him on Antar when I had the chance.”
“Max, you did what you thought was right.” Kyle placed his hand on his lover’s shoulder reassuring him.
“Yes, but that has now put not only this family in jeopardy, but also all of our Earth families and the entire planet at risk.”
“He is at least three weeks behind Niobe so we have time to decide how to deal with Khivar.” Tristen said hoping to put his King at ease for the time being.
“I say that we adjourn this meeting and hit the sack. I’m tired since I didn’t get an entire night of sleep.” Michael said looking at Liz and her lover.
“We are going to Alex’s again tonight so let me say bye to my parents and then we can go.”
The two groups said their goodnights and headed out to the two separate homes.

Alex drove Isabel, Michael, and Liz back to his father’s house. Michael and Liz sat in the back seat when Liz began to fidget. Her body began to warm and she looked to Isabel but that was not the reason for these feelings. She looked to Michael and the heat rose higher. She moved from her seat and straddled Michael’s lap and began kissing her mate. Her kisses were not gentle or soft but hard and demanding. She felt Michael harden beneath her body as she began to grind upon him.
‘Liz’ he said through their connection. He felt her urgency and need but he had to slow it down. This was not the place to have hot, wild sex.
‘I need you Michael. Take me now.’ Liz almost begged. Her body demanded their coupling as her ache worsened.
‘I will baby but when we get to our room. Just hang in there.’ Michael tried to lead the kisses to a more gently pace and it seemed to work a little as his hands gently stroked her back. Liz whimpered in frustration.
In the front seat, Isabel shifted feeling uncomfortable. She looked back at Liz and saw her lips locked with Michael. Isabel was suddenly flooded with a desire that was so strong that it took her breath. Her breathing became ragged and she had to clench her hands into fists to keep from attacking Alex.
“Iz…” Alex started. He felt the sudden shift in his mate.
“Just drive Alex. Get us home, as quickly and safely as possible.” Isabel said softly through gritted teeth.
Within minutes, Alex pulled into the driveway and Michael was getting out of the vehicle as soon as it stopped with Liz wrapped around his waist. She was clinging to him, whimpering as she kissed his neck and bit at his shoulders. He was having a hard time holding her off as her desire shot through him also. He carried Liz as fast as he could to the house with Isabel pulling Alex after them.
Charles heard the car and went to the door to be greeted by Michael carrying Liz whose mouth seemed to be glued to his neck.
“Uh, hey Mr. W.” Michael stammered before heading up to the room they shared with Alex and Isabel the night before.
“Hi Uncle Charles.” Isabel said hurriedly, following Michael, her hand still clutching Alex’s.
“Night dad. We’ll talk at breakfast. Sorry, alien hormones call.” He called back to see his father smiling and shaking his head.
Charles found the entire thing amusing and hoped that the guys could last the six weeks until the children were born. He locked the door and made his way up to bed, satisfied that his son was home.
On the way up the stairs, Liz’s hands began fumbling with Michael’s clothing but because she was wrapped around him she could not get access to his bare skin that she longed to be pressed against. She growled in frustration and finally used her powers, making both of their clothing disappear. Michael gently laid her on the bed and stretched his body out over her, only then did she relax her grip on him.
Isabel pulled Alex into the room and closed the door. She turned to her mate and began the fierce kiss she’d been holding back. Her hands immediately went to his clothing and began franticly tearing it from his body as he did the same to her. Isabel opened her eyes and looked to the bed. She was torn between being with her lover or being with her mate.
Alex felt the conflict Isabel was feeling. He had figured out that each group fed off each other’s energies. In each group there was one hybrid and one human pregnancy. They needed the other’s bonded energy to balance their bodies, resulting in the reason the girls could not be separated but a few hours. But he’d also figured that they also drew from their mates, one human to the hybrid and one hybrid to the human. Together the four were a perfectly balanced group.
Alex led Isabel over to the bed and joined Michael and Liz. As soon as they were settled on the bed, Isabel lying next to Liz, Michael broke apart and pulled Alex to him, crushing his lips to his lover’s. Their desire grew as their girls’ did the same and with all four bodies touching the air became electrified.
Liz gasped as she felt her skin begin to tingle and her need raise another notch. It was beyond urgent now, consuming every sense.
“Michael.” She pleaded.
Michael reluctantly drew away from Alex’s mouth as he felt Liz’s need. He moved so that he slid his hardness into her aching core, both groaning in pleasure at the joining. Liz’s hand reached out and took Isabel’s and she felt a flow of energy start into her body but something wasn’t right, it wasn’t powerful enough, not complete. She opened her eyes and saw that Alex was sucking on Isabel’s nipples and Isabel writhering under him loving the feel of his mouth on her flesh.
“Alex.” Liz gasped out as Michael thrust into her. “I need you too.”
Alex pulled away from the succulent nipple and knew what Liz needed. His body was screaming for it as well. He shifted his body and buried his length into his mate, enjoying her cry of pleasure in his ear.
Now the energy that fed Liz was strong and complete, almost overwhelming, but her body ran on instinct as it stored it away.
The room was filled with grunts and heavy, ragged breathing as the two men brought them all their release. Their climaxes were so intense that it could not be contained and seeped out into their links as the four cried out.
A few miles away, the other four felt the release of energy from their family members as it fueled their own desires. The four crowded on the bed, Tess and Maria making love to each other as Kyle and Max sucked on each other’s hard cocks.
Back at the Whitman’s house, when everyone was able to move once again, Michael and Alex rolled on each side of their mates and carefully cocooned them.
Liz sighed feeling full, sated and …not tired at all but she knew the others were drained, literally.
“Sorry guys. I guess my body just found a way to store a tremendous amount of energy so that I can pour it into the Granolith tomorrow.”
Isabel pulled Liz tighter to her, their fronts touching. She lightly kissed Liz’s lips. “It’s alright. We will do whatever is needed to give and provide our children with a safe home.”
Liz lay there while the others slept. She closed her eyes and opened that special connection to Max. Together, the two leaders worked through some plans on how to keep them and their children safe.

Chapter 32
Kyra and the others were able to accomplish, through the Granolith, the building of their home and the conversion of the caves to the Command Center. Everyone had specific jobs. Isabel, Maria, Michael, and Alex contributed their energy to Max, Liz, Kyle and Tess as they helped with the Granolith and Kyra. Such large transformations required a large amount of energy. They all did it willingly and were glad that everyone stayed healthy and none of the eight complained about the technique that was used to transfer the energy needed for the Granolith.
Once the house was built, the girls along with Diane, Amy, and Nancy took charge of furnishing it and the décor. Michael, Max, Philip and Jeff spoke with Milton and they were able to agree on a reasonable price for the UFO Center. The paperwork quickly got started thanks Charles and his new partner, Alex, of Whitman Technologies.
Kyle worked with his father on the details about what happened to the four missing children. They leaked the information of their return to the press. Maria, Alex, Liz and Kyle held a press conference with their parents while the others were in appearance for support. The media ran with the incredible tale and seemed appeased for the moment but they were not completely happy. The story of the four missing infants were as common as the ’47 Crash but now, one of the mysteries was solved and the media thought it was disappointing that it had nothing to do with aliens.
Things were going quite smooth. The parents had grown close to their children and spent as much time as possible despite the busy schedules and alien ‘side-effects’. The eight now lived in their own home with Tristen and Kyra residing there as well. Everyone helped out at the UFO Center taking shifts so that they did not have to hire help and risk outsiders finding out anything about them at the moment.
The Command Center was on its last stages and the births of the four children were within three weeks. After the press conference, the girls took it upon themselves to stay out of the public eye as much as possible. Three weeks into their pregnancy, they were now beginning to show. If it was unavoidable, they tried to wear clothing to cover their swelling tummies or sometimes used their powers to cover it up. They still had yet to come up with an explanation for when they suddenly had four infants to care for.
Kyle found Tess in the Granolith Chamber. She was sitting on the floor, back against the wall while looking up at the active swirling colors that the Granolith illuminated. Her hands were gently rubbing on her stomach, as if soothing their child while her eyes had a far off look to them. Kyle sat down next to her and looked at the Granolith, suddenly mesmerized by the combination of colors that seemed to swim around in the cone.
“I never dreamed that I would have control of such power.” Kyle commented. His voice was soft and it was filled with awe. He still couldn’t believe that he was connected to such an awesome power source. A power that could do just about anything, he was learning. And he, Kyle Valenti, was chosen to protect it.
“Kyle, you were born to accomplish great things. Surely you know that.”
Kyle shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know. I’ve always known that I was a part of something that was important. But being raised as I was, I only knew that I was the muscle of the group, and even then, I wasn’t really needed.”
Tess finally broke her gaze from the Granolith and looked at her mate. “You’ve always been needed Kyle. You, Liz, Alex and Maria survived because of the four of you pulling together and staying close. Four, not three or two. It took all four of you.”
Kyle sighed. “I know. It’s just that I didn’t really feel that I was the important key to it. Khivar, he practically ignored Alex and I. He spent most of his time and attention on Liz and Maria, determined that they would bare the heirs he so desperately wanted. Everyone had their role to play. Liz was the leader. Maria was our support, our optimist, keeping our spirits up. Alex was the brain with computer skills while I…well I was good at the battle skills. Fighting is what I did best. But to me at the time, it meant nothing. We knew how strong our abilities were, Liz being the strongest so there was very little need for me.”
Tess took his hand in hers. She lifted it and kissed it tenderly, lovingly. “I can understand all of that Kyle.”
Kyle looked into her bright blue eyes. He felt her within him so strong at that moment. Felt that she had similar feelings as she grew up with her group. She was the odd one, the one who was smaller, who looked different than the others.
“I guess you do.” Kyle gave her a small smile in thanks.
“Your skill will be needed. It was given to you for a reason.” She sighed and looked back at the Granolith. “Our daughter is very special to the Granolith Kyle. She will be a keeper like us. I can feel it inside of me, inside of you, inside of her. It will be your job to protect her, to protect us. You and Michael, battle is your strength. It will be needed when the time comes.”
Kyle gazed upon his mate and was amazed at her sudden understanding of the role that he had. He loved her more at that moment than he ever felt before. Kyle leaned over and kissed Tess. Their kiss was deep and intimate. It was filled with love and desire.
Tess cupped his face then let her fingers softly trail down his neck, shoulders, then and chest. She did not realize that what she was doing was dissolving the clothing that he wore. She was suddenly filled with a strong longing to connect with Kyle. To be joined to him, to become one.
Kyle felt the longing within his own body as well. His fingers ran down the buttons of her dress and they popped open. Having a mind of their own, his hands proceeded to disrobe Tess leaving her in just her panties. His body was beginning to warm, his dick already stiff and throbbing with the need for her. He wanted her, he needed her, something was beckoning them to join right there in the Granolith Chamber.
Kyle broke the kiss and stood, pulling Tess into his embrace. It was then that he noticed that he was nude just as she was, but how it had happened was of no concern to him. He pulled her closer, holding on tight, feeling her breasts press against his bare chest. Their skin pleasantly tingled where they touched. Kyle bent his head and captured her lips again and the tingling became stronger, his arms gripped her tighter.
Suddenly they both felt as if they were floating on air but they were unable to break their hold on one another. Their mouths continued with their kiss until they needed breath. Kyle pulled away but quickly latched back on to her throat as she eased her head back, giving him access to her soft, skin.
“Kyle.” She sighed.
Kyle finally opened his eyes to find that they were surrounded by the swirling colors of the Granolith. Then he felt their connection flare to life inside of him. It was fully opened but he had never felt it so strongly before. He could only feel Tess, the others were suddenly blocked out and at first he felt a panic begin to rise within. He could no longer feel Max or Maria and that scared him. He’d gotten used to them along with the others. Just when he thought that he would loose it, another presence joined with Tess. This one was small but just as powerful as his mate’s and comforting.
“Daddy.”
The sweet, high voice of a little girl surprised him. A girl. His daughter. He was connecting to their daughter.
“Kyle.” Tess’s voice pleaded as her hands pulled his waist closer to her.
At the sound of Tess’s voice, all concerns, fears, and doubts disappeared. All that he felt was his mate and his daughter. His family. The ones he would protect with his life. Kyle shifted his position, no longer caring that they were floating in a mixture of color or of how it had happened. All he knew was that he needed to be inside of Tess at that moment.
Kyle pulled Tess’s legs up so that they were wrapped around his waist. It did not matter that the colors seemed to surround him closer now as if they were holding them. No, it was more like cradling them gently. Kyle shifted again and slid deep into Tess. They both moaned at the pleasure that shot through their bodies. Kyle’s hands went to her ass and began pumping her up and down upon his shaft. As their bodies joined, their souls touched and mixed together. All they felt was the calm of being with one another and the pleasure that they were able to give to each other.
Kyle felt Tess grow closer to climax as he was feeling the same. His breath caught as she bent her head and bit his shoulder and moaned, as he pressed deeper into her.
“I love you Tess.” Kyle panted as he worked faster, pushing them both over the edge so they climaxed together. There was a bright light that lit behind their closed lids and then the feeling of being gently set upon the ground.
After several moments, Kyle and Tess were finally able to open their eyes and found that they were lying on the floor of the Granolith Chamber embraced in each other’s arms, Kyle still embedded within Tess. He was hesitant to move; scared that he would loose this feeling, the feeling of his daughter if he withdrew. He liked feeling her. The connection was something that he suddenly treasured and didn’t want to let go.
“Kyle. It’s not going away.”
Kyle looked at Tess perplexed.
Tess smiled at him. “What just happened was something very special and just for us. She’s here with us now, and she will stay that way.”
“How can you be sure? I don’t want to lose this feeling.”
Tess chuckled trying to put Kyle at ease. His fear was real and she felt it radiating within him. “Watch.”
Tess pushed away from Kyle even as he protested her movement. Finally she was able to wiggle enough for Kyle’s soft dick to slip out. He froze and waited. After a moment he sighed.
“See, she’s still there, right?”
Kyle nodded. “Yes.” Then he looked down at Tess. “This is incredible.” As he said the words, he felt the connection he had with Tess and his daughter change slightly. They were not as strong but still there. He suddenly realized that he now felt the others as well and well, he suddenly felt crowded.
Tess reached up and caressed his cheek with her hand. “Don’t worry. Just relax and the connection will calm down.” She felt his mixed emotions. She bit her lip to keep from laughing. She’d never thought Kyle would be as sensitive as he was. That was usually Max’s job of the group. Then it occurred to her. He and Max had their own connection. She bit back a groan and held off her thoughts as the words tumbled into her head. ‘Max Evans is rubbing off on Kyle.’ That’s it, she was going to have to hurt her dear ex-husband she thought darkly but then when she felt the love that Kyle held for her and their daughter rush through her body she smiled. Well, maybe a bout of sensitivity wouldn’t be so bad occasionally.

Down in the Operation Room during that time, Max and Maria stood with Tristen and Kyra going over some plans for Niobe’s pending arrival. They were discussing housing when Kyra was suddenly engulfed by a purple hue. Her head leaned back and her eyes closed. The room was then filled with an electric charge that swam through the air.
“Uh, Max…what’s going on?” Maria asked as she took his arm.
“I don’t know.” He said.
“It’s the Granolith.” Tristen supplied as he watched in wonder at Kyra.
“Did you feel that?” Max asked Maria.
Maria nodded and felt scared. “Max?”
“It’s alright, I think.” He said feeling cold from Kyle and Tess’s absence. “If it’s the Granolith that is doing this, then Kyle and Tess are involved also.” He didn’t know how he could feel so sure about his words but he did. “they are fine.”
After several minutes of watching the glow around Kyra, it finally faded and she opened her eyes. She looked at the others and smiled.
“It is done.”
“What is done?” Max asked.
“The transfer. The Keepers’ child will be born with the same knowledge that I have. I will no longer have to be reborn. The cycle has finally ended.”
“You are saying that Kyle and Tess’s daughter will have all the knowledge of the Granolith and have your abilities. She’ll be mostly human, won’t that kind of power be too much for her?” Maria asked, not quite sure what to make of it and frightened for her families little girl.
“No. What will happen is that I will be around to help her learn to control her power as it gradually comes out from within her. It will harm her in no way. By the time it is of my passing, she will be fully trained to protect the Granolith and carry it’s full knowledge.”
Maria seemed satisfied for the moment but she swore to keep an eye on her niece. She was not going to let anything happen to her or any other the others. The four got back to their work and soon Max and Maria was able to feel Kyle and Tess in their connection once again and they both sighed in relief as they felt whole again.
Tristen stared at the computer screen and a smile slowly crept on his lips. “Niobe will be here soon.” He said, his voice soft and his look had softened.
The three looked at him surprised by his sudden change in demeanor. They had never heard that tone in his voice before. There was a sound of static over the speakers in the Operation Room then a female voice came through.
“Antar 1 to Command.”
Tristen’s smile grew and he turned to his friends. “Niobe.”
Max smiled at the older man and pushed a button. “Antar 1 this is Command.”
“We are in Earth’s Solar System. We will be in Earth’s atmosphere in 42 hours.”
“Copy that.”
The four smiled then got back to work. They were happy that soon, a colony of Antarians will be filling the Command Center and they tried to block out the thought of Khivar coming up soon behind them.

Chapter 33
Because I love you guys soooo much and thank you for being so patient on me, I've worked especially hard to get this new part done. It's not my favorite part but I'm tired of changing and changing.
That and a certain someone pointed out that I'd yet to update as I'd said. Thanks
LOL
Chapter 33
Niobe and the other Antarians arrived on Earth when they said that they would. Upon entering the solar system, the three ships activated an advanced cloaking device, hiding them effectively from the government’s detection devices. During certain times, one of the ships would uncloak just for a moment or send their ship’s signature out away from them so that it would distract the scientists that searched space for the government. This allowed the three ships to move into Earth’s atmosphere undetected and without event.
With the guiding of the Granolith, the ships were able to enter a landing area that was designed underground of the Command Center. There were a total of 512 Antarian rebels that escaped to Earth. Max and the others greeted them warmly.
Tristen affectionately welcomed his mate then introductions were made. Her Luitenient and Nephram, who Max and Kyle knew, accompanied her. Niobe immediately went to Liz first and gave her a loving hug.
“Sister.” Niobe said, her embrace comforting and reassuring. Their rare ability of visions linked them into a sacred sisterhood. When they parted, Niobe placed a hand on Liz’s swollen stomach and smiled.
“She’ll be a tough one. A great leader, like her parents.” She said softly.
Liz nodded already having felt how special her and Michael’s daughter was. “Just as yours will.” Liz responded.
Niobie’s eyes widened but said nothing knowing that in time, she would know what Liz was speaking of. She turned and took Maria’s hands in hers.
“My Queen. It is an honor to be finally meeting you.”
“No. It is mine. I have heard the stories that are told on Antar of the great Seer. Welcome to your new home.” Maria smiled at the woman affectionately. She could feel the power that radiated from this woman and knew that she was wise. She knew that Tristen and Niobe would be happy here.
Niobe smiled. “You are such a brave and strong woman. So determined. The perfect Queen for our King.”
Maria blushed a little and looked to Max who was smiling proudly at her.
Off to the side, Kyle stood and watched the scene before him but a tingling in his head soon distracted him. Something that he’d never felt before. Tess stood next to him and her hand squeezed his tighter. He looked at her and knew that it was not Tess that was causing this. Looking around the room, it did not appear that the others felt it until his gaze landed on Kyra. She stood off to the side of the group but her eyes were intensely staring at something. Kyle followed her line of sight and found that it led to Nephram. It was the soldier who had come to help with Max’s exercises back on Antar and the one who had led them to safety. It seemed that Kyra equally entranced Nephram. Now Kyle knew what that feeling was.
Max turned to Nephram and broke him from his enchantment with Kyra. “Where is your father Nephram. I’d like to thank him for his help.”
Grief passed over Nephram’s face. “I’m sorry Majesty. Khivar captured him. I’m sure that he is dead. Khivar does not keep prisoners for long.”
Max placed his hand on the man’s shoulder. “I’m sorry for your loss.” That was the only thing that Max could think of to say to this man.
“It was the way he would have wanted to die. Serving the true King of Antar.” Nephram bowed his head in respect to Max.
Max looked at the other man. He’d at one time hoped to never have to deal with the status of his heritage. He’d hoped to run away from it and he did try but it followed him. At that moment, seeing Nephram bow his head and the way the Niobe had shown her respect and spoke with Maria, that there was no running. This was who he was. This was the reason his mother risked everything to save them. To save his people. To rule his people. Max took a deep breath and grasped hold of is responsibility as King and held on tight. It was now or never.
“Any you Nephram? Who do you serve?”
Nephram straightened and looked into Max’s eyes. “You Majesty. I serve the one true King of Antar. King Zan. As my father died protecting Antar and her people, so shall I.”
Emotions of sadness flared in Max as he heard the tone of Nephram’s voice as he spoke of his father. Looking into Nephram’s eyes, he knew that the words spoken were true.
Max nodded. “Welcome to Earth Nephram.”
“Thank you King Zan.”
“Please. Zan is not my name. Call me Max.”
“Yes Sire.”
Max shook his head knowing that it would take a lot of patience to rid the Antarians of century long habits when addressing the Royals. He knew it was out of respect but here on Earth, when they are trying to keep things on a low profile, standing out is not a good idea.
Niobe spent the rest of the time they spent together that day informing everyone information about the Rebels that had come to Earth. Their discussion turned to Khivar and they were assured that he would not come to Earth’s solar system for at least another three weeks. Plenty of time for the children’s births and for the Antarians to get settled in. This should have set everyone’s nerves at ease but somehow it did not.
^^^^^^^^^
The next two weeks were spent in a flurry of events making it fly by in a blur. The girls’ stomachs grew, much to their disappointment, as the births of the four babies approached. This caused great joy in the Antarians. These children would be the first to be born with Antarian blood in many, many years. This news also made it to the US media who were absolutely perplexed at how all four girls could be pregnant at the same time. There were all kinds of theories for it but the group’s favorite was that the four that had been missing really were abducted and it was all an alien conspiracy. If only they knew how close to the truth it was. The four couples had only told the press that they were happy for the coming births. Tristen hand picked soldiers that were assigned to the Royals which helped hold off the press.
The mothers of the girls had gotten together and planned a small, quiet wedding ceremony for the four couples. It was done in the Evan’s backyard then they went over to the Crashdown, which was closed for the day, and had a small reception. Kyra, Nephram, Tristen, and Niobe were in attendance along with all their parents. The day was a happy one and they all enjoyed bonding with the parents.
What was not common knowledge was the ceremony that was held out in the desert, deep underground. The hybrids were married in Antarian fashion along with the official ceremony inaugurating Max as King and Maria as Queen. The girls wore long robes, altered to fit their large stomachs while the men were dressed in official Royal Antarian Uniforms. They looked straight out of a fairy tale storybook. Handsome and every inch the princes that they were.
The eight stood before the entire population of the Antarian refugees. Max, Kyle, Maria, and Tess stood on Kyra’s right while Michael, Alex, Liz and Isabel stood on her left. This represented the two groupings within the Royal family. A large celebration was held in honor of the Royals afterward, great joy and hope was kept alive with these happenings.
During this time, Tristen helped Niobe organize and oversee to getting the Antarians settled. This took a great deal of time away from the Royals and his duty to Kyra. Seeing how this was bothering Tristen, especially concerning his duty to Kyra, Kyle assigned Nephram to her. Kyle knew that they had become quick friends and he saw there would be more than that in the future. Nephram swore and oath to Kyle and Tess that nothing would harm Kyra without him dying first. Tess thought that it was quite an extreme statement but Kyle knew exactly how he felt.
It was mere days before the girls were to give birth but Liz and Maria had insisted on going shopping. They had been cooped up in the Command Center and UFO Center for weeks with everyone watching over them like hawks. All the girls were cranky and moody but none like Maria. They had nicknamed her Hurricane Evans, her mood swings became more evident as she grew in size. Amy laughed, knowing what it was like and was trying to be supportive, as was Nancy. Michael argued that the babies had all that they needed and that they were ready but Max knew his wife way too well. If she wanted something bad enough, she would cause everyone hell until she got it, and Michael would be number one on her list if she was unable to get out for a couple of hours.
Maria had been stressed. Her role of Queen lay heavily on her heart and she took it very seriously. Max could feel her needs. For just one day, she wanted to be a normal pregnant woman, shopping and getting ready for her child without the weight of the responsibility of two worlds on her shoulders. Max knew exactly how that felt, so it was he that volunteered to brave the shopping trip with Liz and Maria.
The started out nice. They had an early lunch at the Crashdown before heading out to the mall. Isabel and Tess had introduced them to shopping right after they returned to Earth and like the female hybrids, they were born to shop. The girls were able to stay away from each other for longer and longer periods of time the last four days. Their bodies were finally balancing out and no longer the groups’ energy transfers either. But that did not stop the cravings that they had for each other or the teasing that went on through their connections.
The day was warm and bright. All the packages were in the car and being driven back to their home while Max walked back to the Crashdown with Maria and Liz. With Max along, they had decided that only one bodyguard was needed. There had been no sign of Khivar so they felt relatively safe for the moment.
Poldum volunteered to stay with the Royals. He walked behind the trio as Max was positioned between Liz and Maria. His hand held his wife’s and would have held Liz’s if it wouldn’t cause a fuss with the media. There were still reporters hanging around Roswell, waiting the birth of the four children. Every chance they could, the press took pictures or wrote something about the eight and their apparent success. Luckily, they had only had two to deal with at the mall.
Liz suddenly stopped in the middle of the sidewalk. Max stopped and looked at her. His stomach began to clench at the sight of her face. There was fear etched in her lovely features and that scared him.
“Liz?” Maria asked her friend, feeling her sudden anxiety, her hand going to her child.
“Run.” Liz whispered, shaking her head. “Go, get away.”
“Liz?” Max took her hand. He knew that she was having a vision but what was she seeing? Why should they run?
“He’s here. Shit, how did this happen?” Liz said but it was too late.
Max felt a sting in his neck then darkness descended upon him. In the distance he heard Maria’ voice calling to him, and then silence.

Chapter 34
I told you I wouldn't leave you hanging forever...all that's left is a epi after this chapter
but it's been fun
Chapter 34
Max woke to the sound of whimpers then he heard gentle voices calling to him. As his mind began to clear, he heard that it was Liz that called his name out loud but it was Maria that was drawing him from the fog, calmly calling his name within his head through their connection, pulling him closer to alertness.
Max slowly opened his eyes and allowed his vision to become clear before he moved. He found that he was lying face down on a cold floor. His eyes were focused on gray that was across the room. His body ached but mostly it was the pounding in his head that bothered him the most.
“Max.” Maria’s soft, weak sounding voice broke into Max’s concentration. He was trying to heal his head from it’s pounding.
Max slowly lifted his body up to a sitting position and looked toward the direction that her voice came from. He saw that she was lying on a table that was seen in a gynecological office. On an identical table next to her, he could see Liz. Max jumped up, adrenaline suddenly pumping into his body. It helped him ignore the ache in his body and the swarming dizziness that threatened to bring him back to his knees.
Max stood between the two tables and saw that they both had sheen of sweat upon their brows. They looked unharmed physically but his body began to sense their pain as his body cleansed itself of the drug that had been used on him. As soon as he took Maria’s hand, he felt a sharp pain shoot through his body and watched as she gasped only to begin her rapid breathing pattern that her mother had taught all the girls.
“Maria.” He gasped through the pain only to feel a second stab. He turned to Liz and found that she was doing the same panting as Maria. “Shit. You are both in labor.” Max cursed under his breath.
“They are coming Max.” Maria whispered as her breathing slowed and she was able to relax a little before the next contraction began.
Max reluctantly let go of his wife’s hand and moved to Liz. He brushed back hair from her face.
“You doing ok?” Max asked, his voice calm and soothing. He was desperately holding back the panic that was soaring through his nerves. Where the hell were the others? What had happened?
Liz nodded and tried to smile at him reassuringly but it came out as a grimace as another contraction hit her. Max was able to effectively gather himself and begin blocking their pain from his body, which allowed him to function and think clearly. He held on to her hand until the pain passed, keeping eye contact with her, assuring her that he was going to get them out of this.
For the first time, Max looked around the room. It was a small, windowless room with only one steel door. The tables were set up at the end of the room farthest from the door with several feet left of empty space. The walls were gray brick, the temperature was cool. The room was void of anything but the two tables.
“Shit.” Max cursed.
‘Michael. Kyle. Where the hell are you?’ Max called out
‘Isabel and Tess are in labor.’ Alex said. Max could hear the frantic tone that filled Alex. ‘Kyle, Michael, and Tristen took some soldiers to find you.’
‘Where are you at?’ Michael’s voice broke through. Max could feel Michael’s anxiety and anger. ‘Is Liz alright? I’m having trouble getting through our connection. How about Maria?’
‘Liz and Maria are in labor but they are both unharmed. I don’t know where we are, I was knocked out.’ Max described to Michael what he remembered happening and the room that they were in.
‘Hang tight. We’ll be there shortly. We’ve traced you to those warehouses outside of town.’ Kyle said. Mac felt how torn he was. He had to leave his wife while she was in labor to find Max, his lover, his King. But Kyle knew that this was what he’d been trained to do. He and Michael made the perfect team and Max had little doubt that they would be there shortly. He just hoped that Liz and Maria could hold on that long.
The steel door slid open and Max instinctively raised his hand, shot out a blast and hit the first man through the door in the chest. The man crumpled where he stood without a sound. Before Max could get another shot out, a blast was returned at him but he reacted by bringing up his shield surrounding him and the girls.
“Zan! Give it up before someone gets hurt.” A familiar voice sounded outside the doorway.
“Only you Khivar.” Max called out.
Khivar laughed, the sound filled with malicious evil as it echoed in the hall. “Do you really think I’d not have a plan or a way to control you? Look around at the ceiling Zan. With the push of a button those little boxes are activated and not even you shield can save all of you, especially your child.”
Max’s eyes floated to the ceiling and saw a line of wire that ran along the crease where the roof and walls connected. Strategically placed were small black boxes around the room. He had no idea if they were really explosives but he did not want to risk them all for not believing that it could be true. He did not know if his shield would hold up against explosives, but was Khivar really positive of that?
Khivar silently stepped to the doorway and looked in. Max’s eyes settled upon his form, his shield held protectively.
“I should have killed you on Antar.” Max said, his voice held venom in each word.
Khivar smiled and nodded. He stepped over the crumpled guard and entered the room. “Yes, you should have but you always were soft at heart Zan. Especially when it came to death.” He looked over to Maria and Liz who were trying to remain calm during the labor pains. His lips formed a sneer. “Did you know that Antarian women are at their weakest during childbirth? Their powers are completely diverted to their child in the process.”
“But Maria and Liz are human.” Max’s eyes shifted between Maria and Liz. He could feel the doubt that he could not help them ease into his mind.
“Yes, but they have Antarian abilities despite being human and have bonded with you and Rath.”
‘Maria? Liz? Tell me you can access your powers and help out here.’
‘No. Talking to you is it. I can’t do it with anyone but you.’ This came from Maria as she gasped through another contraction.
‘Liz?’ Max asked, hoping that she could still help. She was the strongest of the humans.
‘Maria’s right.’ Liz’s voice within his head was filled with pain as she coped. ‘I can’t reach Michael. Ohhhh! Max, she’s coming really soon. I can’t stop her much longer. She’s ready to be born.’ Liz let out a scream as the contraction claimed her body.
‘Michael!' Max called out. “Get the fuck here. Khivar is here and Liz is about to give birth to your daughter.’
‘Hold on Bro. Khivar has somehow distorted your energy signature that we’ve been tracking. Be careful.’
Khivar’s eyes gazed upon Liz and his lips went from a sneer to a maniacal smile. “An heir is about to be born.” He took several steps closer but still outside the shield that Max held up. “However, I can’t come near her. A natural shield comes up automatically when I try.” The smile turned back into a sneer even as his eyes hungered for her. “Deliver Rath’s child Zan and give it to me.”
“Never.” Max growled.
“So protective over someone else’s child. Interesting.” Khivar rubbed at his chin. “You know, I had planned for Liz to be yours. For her to carry your child, the heir of Antar’s throne.”
“Antar is dead Khivar. Don’t you understand that what you did all those years ago, killing the Royals and taking over brought you to destruction? It was you who did this to your people, not Zan or the others but you.”
“NO! Lies. I loved my people. I wanted the best for them. They needed a strong leader, one who would bring about strong alliances.”
“You ruled Antar using fear and brutality.”
“It was necessary.” Khivar shook his head as if gathering his thoughts. “Now, Zan, you will deliver those children and hand them over to me. If you do as I say, I might have mercy and allow the three of you to live to produce more children for me to rebuild Antar. All I need is you Zan and the two girls. The others matter not.”
The anger in Max boiled, his teeth clenched together. He shook his head, no trusting his voice.
“Once the children leave their bodies, they are very weak vessels, unable in anyway to defend themselves. I’d hate to have something unfortunate happen to them.”
“You will never touch my child Khivar. Nor Liz’s. They are not yours. I would die before you have them.”
Khivar laughed. “Yes, I know that you would die for them. But would they? Would they die for you or their child? You have two choices here. Either give them both to me, allowing them to live full lives or all five of you can die here.”
“I will not allow my children to be raised by you.”
Khivar sighed, getting tired of this game. “Don’t you see Zan? You can’t win this time. No one can help you now. It’s you and me but I have the advantage. Your powers have been draining as you stand there like a fool holding up your shields while mine are at full force. And unless you want to kill the children, you can’t gather from them.”
Max lowered his hand and made sure that he was holding one of Liz’s along with one of Maria’s. Max’s anger and emotions were near exploding. He could feel the energy rise with every minute that had paced. It was as if something or someone was feeding him energy. It warmed his body, calmed his nerves. It was the Granolith; his connection to it through Kyle was supporting him, helping him defend his family, the Antarians’ future. Max enjoyed watching Khivar’s eyes widen slightly as his shield stayed in place.
“You are wrong Khivar. You have underestimated my family and me one time too many. I gave you a chance to die peacefully on Antar but you gave that up when you came here.”
At that moment, explosions were heard all around the room. The walls vibrated from the blasts and screams echoed in the halls.
“What the hell is going on?” Khivar demanded of his guards that stood in the doorway. He did not turn from Max but he knew that he was heard.
“Sire, we are being attacked.”
“Attacked? By who? No one knows we are here.” Khivar’s eyes locked with Max’s.
“Rath and the human, Kyle, Sire.”
Khivar’s face filled with rage, his skin turning red. He threw a ball of energy at Max but it was absorbed into the shield. Max did not flinch.
“Kill them.” Khivar growled, his voice so low, it was almost inaudible. “Kill them all.” He said a bit louder. The guards left their posts to do as Khivar bid, leaving him alone with the three captives.
“How is it possible? How did they find you?”
Max held his head high and looked at Khivar straight in the eye. “We are something that you had not counted on. Yes, we were prophesized, but you did not understand it all. We will save my race but not as you think. You see humans as weaklings, but with human blood in our future, Antarians will become more powerful. You brought the eight of us together, you allowed us to bond, a bond that you could never imagine, but it will me who saves my old world. Me and my family will provide a new, flourishing home.”
“No.” Khivar shook his head. “This is done Zan. You will all die.”
“I don’t think so.” Max said. His voice was calm and smooth just like his face.
Suddenly a white light shot out from behind the shield, it penetrated the barrier and found Khivar’s body. Khivar’s screamed as the light filled his body, eating him, his body slowly melting into the light. Khivar’s last sight was that of Max, Maria and Liz, their bodies glowing bright with a gold hue. What he did not know was that through the connection that Max had with his family; he was pulling from them and the Granolith but not in a way that harmed or weakened them. What he pulled from was their love for each other and their determination to protect what was theirs.
Michael and Kyle’s forms filled the doorway as the light continued consuming Khivar. He was shocked at the heat that filled his body so quickly. He could feel it fill every nerve and vessel. He looked down at his hand that still held a small cylinder device.
“Max.” Kyle cried out.
“NOOOOO!” Khivar screamed as he began to disappear but not before he pressed a button that was in his hand.
Explosions began around the room. Kyle pulled Michael from the doorway, pulling him to safety. Michael fought Kyle trying to get to his wife.
“Liz!” Michael’s voice held fear, grief, and urgency. He flared at Kyle but was soon thrown to the ground outside the room, down the hall where Kyle had dragged him.
Kyle threw up a shield around them as he held Michael to the ground. It was the only way to keep him from running into the exploding room. He flinched at every explosion that went off. Tears ran down his cheeks as Michael’s cries reached his ears above the noise. Kyle could only close his eyes and hope that Max could protect them.
Inside the room, Max stood in place between Maria and Liz, their hands clamped tightly together. He closed his eyes and reached out to his family, drawing more power first from his lover Kyle, then his best friend Michael, followed by his sister’s husband Alex. He could now feel Kyra’s power being drawn to him. He had a vision of her floating in the Granolith, the colors swirling around her, head back, eyes closed and a smile upon her lips. ‘Arise the King.’ He heard her say.
The dust settled, the noise stopped and finally Max opened his eyes, looking around at the destruction of the room. The walls were blown in and the ceiling had crumbled but the shield had held protectively over them. He was completely amazed that they had survived.
“Max!” Liz cried out. Her breathing was rapid and she screamed with pain. This piercing sound brought Max back to the reality of their situation. Yes, Khivar was gone but the girls were still in labor.
Max looked down at Maria who was in the same shape as Liz. ‘Liz’s baby will be born first.’ Maria said softly in Max’s head, mentally pushing him to her.
Max reluctantly let go of Maria’s hand and turned his attention to Liz. With a wave of his hand, her clothing was transformed into a skirt that he pushed up to her hips. He took a deep breath and looked down to find his niece’s head crowing from her mother’s body.
“Alright Liz. Push, let’s get her out.” Liz did not hesitate and pushed, screaming in the process.
“Max. Fuck Max, let me in.”
Max looked up and found Michael and Kyle on the outside of the shield. It was still in place without his effort, protecting them all. Max allowed them in but kept it up, not trusting the area was quite free of Khivar’s men yet.
Michael ran to Liz. “I’m here Baby.” Tears filled his eyes. He was so scared when the explosions went off with them all still in the room. He felt as if his heart was being ripped from him body. He had not been able to feel Liz since Khivar took them and it was about to drive him mad. Liz looked up and smiled.
“I knew you’d come.” She panted between contractions.
“Push again Liz. She’s almost here.” Max’s voice was filled with excitement.
Michael cradled Liz in his arms and held her up while she pushed until their daughter was born. Max gently laid the baby girl in Liz’s arms and placed his hand upon her abdomen, healing any bleeding and bringing her uterus back to normal size.
The entire time, he found the urge to go to his wife but he knew that he had to do what needed to be done. Max sighed then went to Maria and kissed her quickly.
“OK ‘ria. Let’s introduce our son to the world.” Maria smiled at him and nodded, all of her energy was being spent on breathing through the contractions.
Kyle had her cradled, coaching her to breath through the pain and pushes. Max changed Maria’s clothing and found his son’s impatient head crowning.
“Time to push.” Max instructed. Kyle held onto Maria tight as she pushed and gave birth to her and Max’s son, his nephew. Max held him so tenderly and looked up at Kyle, tears flowing down his cheeks.
“Thank you Kyle for staying. But you really need to go. Isabel is having her son and your daughter will be after that.” Max smiled at his lover.
Kyle smiled and kissed Max then Maria on the forehead. Before he could turn around, his body disappeared. Max could feel the Granolith within him and knew that it had transported Kyle to Tess. It was watching over its keepers.
Max approached Maria and laid their son in her arms before healing her as he’d done to Liz. The four sat quietly amidst ruin, reeling from the joy and excitement of their children’s birth. In the mist of destruction and rubble, two lives were born and new life to all was given.

Epilogue
Epilogue
4 years later…
Max leaned back in his chair and watched the sight that played out before him. A smile graced his lips as he watched the four oldest children gathered together playing on the large jungle gym that separated the two houses. After the children were born, it was decided that another house would be built. One held Max, Maria, Tess, and Kyle along with their family. Michael, Liz, Alex, and Isabel and their families occupied the other. His thoughts went back to all that had happened since the night they were born.
Kimball Guerin was born first. She has her mother’s dark hair and her father’s height. Her strength is both physical and mental as she hangs upside down holding hands on to her baby sister, now almost two, Karyn. Their laughter could be heard across the expanse of the yard.
Axil Whitman sat in the sandbox under the jungle gym with his twin brother and sister, Trent and Alena, who are two. They were building what looked to be a sand castle however Axil was instructing the two smaller ones on the exact measurements that should be used in order for it to contain the layers that they wanted to add.
Grace Valenti ran around the jungle gym being chased by her tottering little one-year-old brother, Leo. Her lips were all smiles and her violet-rimmed blue eyes sparkled as she called out her brother’s name, encouraging him to catch her.
Then there was Max’s own son, Mackenzie. He was sitting under a tree that was next to the jungle gym reading quietly to two other children. One was his two and half year old sister, Lily. They both had Max’s dark hair but Mac had his mother’s green eyes while Lily had a unique mixture of hazel. Mac was a quiet soft-spoken boy, much like his father while Lily made up for his quiet nature with her rambunkiousness.
The other child was a little girl about two years of age. Her name was Tyrina. Tristen and Niobe had her within two years of coming to Earth. It was exciting news. She was the first full-blooded Antarian to be conceived in at least 30 years. She was also the first to be born on Earth, their new home. Apparently, the Earth’s atmosphere and environment was slowly undoing the damage the sterilizing toxins on Antar had done. Only a handful of Antarians couples had been able to conceive since then but that was a start.
After the children were born and all of Khivar’s followers were eliminated, a group went back to Antar by the way of the Granolith. There they gathered any remaining Antarians that wanted to join them on Earth along with documents and pieces of history from their home planet. This was to preserve their heritage and remember what had happened that brought them to Earth.
In the last four years, many hundred Antarians were spread across the globe. Many have chosen human mates and are brought into the family when it is thought that they could be trusted. There are many more children from mixed bondings making way for a new kind of hybrid. The Command Center is still active and the center point to all Antarians. Max and Maria are still paid homage to as King and Queen and are looked highly upon along with the rest of the Royal family. They are actually kept quite busy with Antarian affairs and interplanetary communications. Their source of income is through Whitman Technologies where they have been able to slowly seep in new, alien technology.
Max still had enemies somewhere out there. There are those that supported Khivar and his dealings. They were pissed that Max would not continue with Khivar’s promises or contracts. He knew they were out there waiting for the best time to strike. When they were at their weakest. Just as he knew that one day, whether it be in his time or his children’s, Earth would know that aliens walked among them, that the 1947 crash really did happen, bringing a King and his family to Earth. When that came out, the knowledge that those four missing children were really abducted by an alien would also be exposed. That scared him, knowing that humans tended to exterminate anything that they did not understand. He just hoped that they would be able to handle it when the time came.
Max stood and walked to the banister of the porch, leaning on the railing. Five years before, if he’d been told that he would be King, a lover, a father, and a husband, he would have laughed, never thinking that he’d get so blessed. Yes, he was a happy man.
Arms wrapped around his waist and lips pressed kisses on his back. Max sighed and leaned back a little into the body that pressed against his.
“You ok?” Kyle asked moving around to stand between the railing and Max’s body, his arms still on Max’s waist.
Max smiled down at his lover. “Yes. I’m great. I was just thinking about all the things that has happened in the last five years.”
“Oh.” Kyle reached up and tenderly kissed Max’s lips. Max eagerly opened up and let the kiss turn into a passion filled kiss that had both of their bodies reacting. Max pulled away, breathless.
“How do you do that?”
“What?” Kyle asked, his blue eyes twinkling.
“How can you make me want you with just a kiss? I can’t believe that after all these years, you and Maria can still make my body react with just a touch.”
“That’s because our touch is filled with the love that we have for you.” Kyle smiled.
“Hey. Who says it’s your turn?” Maria’s voice sounded behind the two men. Max turned, not letting Kyle completely go, and embraced his smiling wife. She had tried to sound upset and pout but he and Kyle knew that it was just an act.
“There’s enough of me to go around. I think you already know that.” Max whispered huskily into her ear. He pressed his hard on against her body.
Maria purred and kissed Max. His free hand moved to Maria’s belly that was not yet round though tucked inside was his third child. Another little girl.
“As much as I’d like for this to continue, I need to point out that we have people arriving.” Kyle pointed out sighing. He had pressed his body against Max’s back, his hands roaming the muscular body.
Max turned his head and saw that Kyra, her belly very swollen, and Nephram were walking their way. They had gotten married within a year of coming to Earth and were only now expecting their first child. They were very excited and were looking forward to the time they would have their own little one to join in with their nieces and nephews. They lived in a small cottage on the property; not too far away but where they had privacy from the Royals. Kyra was still very much connected to them and knew that her son would be also.
Tess came out of the house followed by the other two couples. Niobe and Tristen came up the walk behind Kyra and Nephram. The twelve stood on the porch, each holding their mate as they watched the children play. Soon they heard cars drive up and doors shutting. This caught the children’s attention who went running and yelling, meeting their grandparents as they rounded the corner of the house. The children were lucky. How many others could claim that they had seven grandparents?
“It’s party time.” Liz said, dragging Michael out to say hi to her parents. They had happy news to share. It was hard to hide secrets from each other so everyone in the group knew but now it was time to tell the parents that they would once again be grandparents to a little boy. After that, the children’s fourth birthday party would begin.
THE END…
4 years later…
Max leaned back in his chair and watched the sight that played out before him. A smile graced his lips as he watched the four oldest children gathered together playing on the large jungle gym that separated the two houses. After the children were born, it was decided that another house would be built. One held Max, Maria, Tess, and Kyle along with their family. Michael, Liz, Alex, and Isabel and their families occupied the other. His thoughts went back to all that had happened since the night they were born.
