"Have you called Mom and Dad to know if they're back yet? I mean, they probably are but maybe one of us should call to see if they made it back okay."

I sigh. "Yeah ok Ill call"
I get out my phone and dial the number.
The number rings for a long time...

I quickly make my way down the stairs and pick up the phone from the kitchen. I press the talk button and hold the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?" I say into the phone.

"Hello?"
I sigh. "Hey Dad, Im guessing your home then" I say with a smile. "Everything ok?" I ask. "You didnt have any problems did you? Hows Zan? Is he ok?" I ask worrying.

"Hey Dad, Im guessing your home then. Everything ok? You didnt have any problems did you? Hows Zan? Is he ok?"

I smile into the phone. "We're fine. We came back home a little over 20 minutes ago. And Zans fine, he's wtaching tv in the living room. What about you, are you okay?"

I grin. "Never been better Dad" I say as I give Liz a little squeeze with the arm thats still around her. "Never better."

"Never been better Dad. Never better."

I smile as he talks into the phone to his father and gives me a little squeeze. I can't beleive that after seven year's, Max and I are back together. It's just something I thought would never happen again. I hadn't even been planning on coming back to Roswell let alone get back together with Max.

"Never been better Dad. Never better."

I frown slightly into the phone. Not something I was expecting to hear from Max considering that he's usually so gloomy and..well, kind of depressed. I don't know what happened but he sure sounds happier. Or maybe it's just his imagination.

"Well, anyway's," I said, clearing my voice into the phone. "Your son misses you, and he's wondering when you'll be coming home. Are you coming home soon?"

"Uhm" I say akwardly. "Im not sure. Depends on if Michael and Maria are coming any time soon....but I may come by in a bit...."
I look at Liz "Thats if Liz will come with me" I say hopefully.

"Uhm. Im not sure. Depends on if Michael and Maria are coming any time soon....but I may come by in a bit....Thats if Liz will come with me"

"Of course I'll go with you," I say with a smile, giving Max's hand a small squeeze. I'd go anywhere with him.

Liz Parker? Why does he sound so giddy all of a sudden at the thought of Liz Parker coming over?

"Wait a second," I say, realisation dawning on me. That's why my son sounds so happy all of a sudden. "Are you and Liz Parker...together again?"

"Uhm. Im not sure. Depends on if Michael and Maria are coming any time soon....but I may come by in a bit....Thats if Liz will come with me"

I'm tempted to rool my eye's but I hold it in. He is so whipped when he's with her. Not that I'm complaining, I'll take this Max over the one who used to be without Liz anyday.

'Don't wait for Michael and Maria," I tell Max with a small sighed. "Go check up on your son, I'll stay here with Kyle and wait for Maria and Michael to show up."

"Of course I'll go with you," Liz says smiling. She gives my hand a squeeze and I can't help but grin at her.

"Wait a second,"
I think my Dad's cottoned on....God I hope he's ok with it.
"Are you and Liz Parker...together again?"
I try not to laugh. "Yeah, Dad. We are" I tell him.

'Don't wait for Michael and Maria, Go check up on your son, I'll stay here with Kyle and wait for Maria and Michael to show up." Isabel says with a sigh. Im tempted to find out why she's sighing...but I really just want to see my son with Liz.

"Okay then....Dad we're on our way" I tell him. "I'll see you in a bit. Bye"
I hang up the phone and look back at Liz. "Ready to go?" I ask.

"Okay then....Dad we're on our way. I'll see you in a bit. Bye."

He turns to me, "Ready to go?"

"Yup," I say as we slide out of the booth. I look back at Nathan and Serena before leaving, "We'll be right back, okay?" I tell them. I point in the direction of the waitress, "I would order the Will Smith burger by the way, it's really good. Unless of course my dad took it off the menu, which I doubt he did." I flash them a bright smile before turning and following Max out of the Crashdown.
