I had no idea at all what Alex meant by that so I just smiled and nodded. I don't think he picked up on it, thank God.

**Later that afternoon**


Nurse:

"Excuse me your highness...You wife is awake and she'd wish to see you..." She bowed slightly as she attented to the children again.

Alex:

"The Mrs. want's you bro...you'd better go.." He winked as he over heard the nurse as well. "We'll look after the little ones..." I quickly added.

I smile. "Really? Thanks man. God I'm tired. What a day. Thanks."
I walk upstairs and walk into see my beautiful wife awake.
"Hey sweetie. The twins Uncle and Aunt are looking after them for a while." I say kissing her gently. "How are you feeling?" I ask as I sit in the chair next to the bed again.

Liz:

"I'm sore, I tried to sit up but I couldn't...Yeah, I knew it would hurt but I didn't think it would, well not that much I smiled." I patted the bed for him to sit down. "You look tired." I told him as I held his hand in mine.

"That's because I am. But I don't want to close my eyes because I think I might be dreaming. The last two days have been so perfect. I love you Liz" I said kissing her gently.

Liz:

I moved more to the side and motioned Zan to lay down next to me, and once he did his face was facing mine. I reached out and touched his face. "Zan you not going to lose me--we have two beautiful children, and your a wonderful husband, and now that we are husband and wife--nothing is going to get in the way of that, I promise. I promise you, that if you go to sleep--once you wake up I will still be here--" I kissed him on the forhead and started to hum a song, and brushing the hair away from his eyes...and genlty touching his face.

I sigh as she hums. I relax on the bed as I quickly start to drift off to sleep.

Liz:

I stayed in the same position for a long time just looking at him, and how beautiful he was--before drifing back to sleep myself. I placed his hand around me, and I snuggled next to him as we both slept.

I awoke to see Liz sleeping. Good...she needs rest after what she's been through. I can't believe this is happening to me. It feels like a dream...too good to be true. I watch her sleep, she's so amazing.

Liz:

I opened my eyes to see that Zan was still by my side...' hey you' I whispered as he leaned in and kissed me. "what time is it?" I looked outside and the sun was almost ready to set.
