I walked into the ball in my showy blue dress, feeling very nervous. I noticed a lot of men staring at me, but there was only one person I wanted to talk to. I looked around the room andspotted him... surrounded by women.

Well, fine! If he wanted them, then I could find someone else too. I walked to the nearest guy and started talking to him.

"Keep away from us, jerk" I say as I push past him and back to Isabel.
Great, I had lost my temper with him...just great.
"Here you are" I say not bothering to smile.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I noticed the frown on Alex's usually calm face



Kyle

I saw Tess enter the room and she took my breath away...I wanted to go to her immediately but I was in the middle of a conversation with Mrs.Sybil Cuthbert and her daughter Eliza,who was looking at me in an adoring fashion.It made me want to puke.

"Oh no...don't let him get to you sweetie." I said putting my drink down and taking his hand and giving it a little squeeze

Kyle

Damn what incessant chatter...I have to get out fo here

"Excuse me Mrs.Cuthbert,Eliza,I have some guests I have to talk to."

The band was about to start the next song so I went up to Tess from behind and whispered into her ear..."You ready to dance with me?"

I jumped at the unexpected voice in my ear. "Oh," I said in a slightly cold voice, "Are you done with the women over there?"

Isabel

"Let's go to my room for a while" I told him and led him upstairs discreetly,taking care to avoid my Aunt and Uncle

Once we were in my room I locked the door and pushed Alex down on to the sofa..."Now listen to me carefully 'coz I am only going to go through this story once." I said serioulsy

"Yes...I did love him.Yes he was my first love.I was sixteen,Victor was the first older guy who'd ever shown an interest in me and I was really flattered.He took me out to the theatre,to parties,which by the way I wasn't supposed to attend at my age and he gave me plenty of gifts." I paused to catch my breath

"But what he never gave me was all of himself...And that is what I love about you Alex.I only met you two days ago but the moment I laid eyes on you I knew you were special.Nothing is going to take me away from this...what we've only just started,I want to see us grow together."
