Maria laughs, replying with a jokey, "Well, I'm glad I could be of service. Every girl loves to hear that they've been brought up to Lover's Point for entertainment value." Smiling back at her, I watch amused while she turns the car radio on, flipping stations.

"What we need is some background noise."

Turning the dial, she lands on some pretty horrible songs, and I'm about to tell her to give it up when a very familiar one comes on. Metallica.

She stops on it, and I look at her, a little dumbfounded. Could it be that I've found something else we both have in common? I mean, I've never met a girl who liked Metallica. Maria is just...

"Perfect." She whispers, snuggling against my shoulder. Grinning, I look out the window for a second. Perfect is right.

"You like Metallica?" I ask, wrapping my arm around her shoulder to get more comfortable. I have to say I'm having a pretty good time. I mean, I'm in a car with a girl that I can talk to, who also has really good taste in music, and is right now snuggled up against me. It seems as if my relatively boring life is starting to look up.

"Well because I want to feel the action I have done to myself. I want to learn from it. Max I change. I'm not the selfish, cold hearted bitch anymore. When I woke up remember what I have done and how I treated people. I hated myself. Michael offer to heal it but I told him no. I want to do this on my own so I can fully get better."

I blink. Quickly I get up and pass her the phone. "Call him, or Ill have to take you to the doctor. Thats not a good thing Liz, and Im not going to sit here while you bleed"

*Maria*

"You like Metallica?" He quetions clearly suprised at my musical taste. His arm wraps around my shoulder and in turn I grin like a fool. "Yeah, this actually my favorite song by them. Though I'm rather fond of 'Sad But True' and 'Enter Sandman' A lot of their best work came from their Black Album." I remarking loving how natural this all feels. "What? You didn't see me as a big heavy metal fan?" I tease light heartedly.

*Liz*

"Call him, or I’ll have to take you to the doctor. That’s not a good thing Liz, and I’m not going to sit here while you bleed" he said handing me the phone.

“He on his date with Maria I don’t want him to come running to me as I’m so lost puppy. He already did so much for me at least I can give him this, you just one night to be normal.” I said looking at the phone.

“If you take me to the doctor….” I look up at him. “There good chance you won’t see me again, along with Michael and our friend Alex.” I said looking up. “Can I use your sink?” I ask, normally I would just get up and use it without asking, but I can’t do that here,anymore. I’m guess here.

Oops I actually forgot for a minute. I actually forgot that she wasn't...normal.
"Of course you can. You don't have to ask!" I tell her. "Can I help at all?"

*Liz*

"Of course you can. You don't have to ask! Can I help at all?"he said and offer to help. "Yea do you have a first aid kit?" I said getting up and going to the sink. I turn the water with my elbow and start unwrapping the bandage.

When fully off l look closely if there was a glass and what do you know. There was. I took the piece out out of my deep cut and made a painful expression on my face.

"Yea do you have a first aid kit?"
I nodd and head off to the bathroom to get it. As soon as I have it I return to see Liz pulling out glass from the wound.
"God Liz" I mutter as I go to help her.

*Liz*

"God Liz" I heard Max said as I look at him from behind me. "It's not that bad. Now we know why it was bleeding like crazy" I said turning off the water with my good hand. I turn myself around to face Max.

She turns to look at me. I swallow and gently stroke her face. I stare into her eyes. "Are you sure you're ok? That I can't do anything to help?"
I really want to kiss her. Or at least a huge part of me does. Another part of me is worrying that Ill hurt her if I do, and the other part is worried that she won't want me to and she'll dump me again.
