Beyonka strolls in takes one look at Alex's companion and frowns.

She gives me a serious look and says,

"I think we need to have a girl talk...right now."

I give her my most reasurring smile, "Sure thing."

I turn my attentions to our company,

"Liz could you hook my new friends up with some free Cappachinos?"

Assuring the crowd, "I'll be right back."

I guide our new confidant into the office,

"Hey. Whats up?" [/i]

I am so worried that my stomache is starting to hurt.

I take deep breath. "Well your here cause somethin odd is going on here. I got hurt today on the way to the shop today, and that guy out there. The shorter one he healed me with his bare hands. Somethings not right. And about the Chica, why don't we go check her out?

I take her hand and drag her back into the main area.

Going up to the handsome stranger I ask, "So cutie you got a name?"

I barely have time to process what Maria told me before I am being pulled back outside.

"So cutie you got a name?"

I can't help the laugh that escapes. Maria is always open when flirting. She is open to the possiblity of love...she is brave. I have none Maria and Liz for my whole life but just recently i learned about their secret. And since i felt this closness to them like i can tell them everything. But there is one thing i can never tell them...it could mean death for us all.

"Michael," I say kind of distractedly. "Oh, thanks for the cappucino," I add, looking at her. She looks perfectly fine, and that's what worries me. How could someone human just heal her like that? It isn't human; so what does that make the Max person. "So does your ankle feel alright?" I ask, making sure it wasn't some kind of mind persuasion tactic or something.

There is defianltly something there...a connection. I extract my hand from Maria's and walk over to where Alex and Tess are.

Beyonka walks over to us and I say "We need to figure this thing our..where's Maria?"

Beyonca looks behind herself at Maria before saying "She's kinda distracted."

I roll my eyes but can't stop the smile that spreads across my face. Thats maria for you....flirty.

"Michael," he stammers. "Oh, thanks for the cappucino,"

"So does your ankle feel alright?" he looks a little suspicious.
I should probably try to make him think that it wasn't hurt bad. The less humans we drag into this secret the better.

"Um... Yeah much better.It must not have been as bad as I thought." I smile at him sweetly.

"Plus that guy must be a doctor. He's a miracle worker."

His eyes brightern up at that and I suddenly realize that I must have said something that sparked his interest.

"So what do you do?" I ask my inqusitive nature taking over. [/i]

Directing my attention from Alex to the blond i say "Whats your name?"

Miracle worker? I've heard of people that care for witches, and help them when they need it. They're...white something or others. Max could be someone like that, except that would mean this girl would be a witch...that doesn't make sense. Perhaps he's just one of those immortals that likes to do good deeds. I'll have to look into it.

She's speaking again, which brings me back to the present. "So what do you do?"

Uh oh. The million dollar question. Hello, I'm a half demon, half human immortal on the run from mystical law and assasins. Nice to meet you. "I'm self-employed. Right now I'm trying to find a place to start a stock business," I say, blurting out the first thing that comes to mind.

He seems to be dodging me. Like he's distracted. Oh well I love a challenge!

"Interesting. Does that make you travel alot?; because I've lived in Roswell my entire life ,and I've never seen you here before. Trust me with a face like yours I'd remember."
