Rath nods his head yes and inquires in a husky tone,
"What's ya got in mind?" He then begins to tease me by running his tongue seductively acorss his bottum lip. At this particular moment all coherent thought is lost. My eyes remain fixiated on that mouth and what I'd like it to be doing to me right now. I realize that I've been staring shamelessly so I catch myself by retorting,
"Well, I was planning on making an appearance at the new Karaoke Bar across town."
Kyle gives Rath an uneasy look and takes a step closer to me in a protective manner. I just shake my head slightly aggravated that he feels the need to play chaperone. I'm a big girl. I can take care of myself. In fact if there's anyone who needs protecting it would be Rath, because if I get my hands on him... Save that thought for later.
"You trying to catch your gig?" Kyle asks catching on quickly.
"Yeah, As of now..." I check my black and red watch. (Liz's Christmas Present to me last year. Apparently she was dropping a not so subtle hint that I am always late. Which is kind of true.)
"I'm only about 15 minutes late. By the time we get there and I sweet talk the manager I might be able to get one song in." Shrugging my shoulders I reply,
"It's better than not getting to show at all." Sometimes I don't think the others realize how important my music is to me. Half the time they don't show up at my performances and then they expect me to cancel them at a moments notice ,because of what... a star died. Please!
"Alright." Kyle agrees and I flash him a winning smile. That is until he gives me the stipulations. "
But we are taking my 'Stang..."
I am about to protest 'Exactly what is wrong with the Jetta' but he breaks in with,
"And you two will sit in the back and keep your hands where I can see them." I smile devilishly as I submit to the conditions.
"Okay, Kyle. Whatever you say." I respond with a look of a knowledge around all rules and boundries. Kyle starts to walk toward the car so I give Rath a moxy grin before mouthing,
'He didn't say we had to keep our hands to ourselves in the bar.'
