“Pride and Prejudice huh?” he types back, and I start to feel foolish. What a stupid thing to say.....

“Alright. You’re on.” I cant help but sigh in relief. Phew... he didn't think it was that stupid... “But if I do this… you’ll have to do something for me.”

I have to say I'm veru intreguied by that. "But I haven't been bad... I'm a good girl... your naughty ways haven't rub off on me yet..."

I pause before typing, "What exactly did you have in mind?"

There is a small space of time where I pause on baited breath waiting for her responce. Was that too forward? My question is answered when she types, "But I haven't been bad... I'm a good girl... your naughty ways haven't rub off on me yet..." There's a promise behind the term yet that leaves my mouth watering. Alright Gidget you wanna play? I'm up for a game. "What exactly did you have in mind?" Ah her interest is peaked. That's half the battle. Thrilled at the turn of events I write back.

"Well, seeing as how I'm about to go where no man has gone before and drown myself in estrogen I think it is only equally as fair if you do something that would be considered a 'guy' thing." My mind wraps around this concept quite nicely. "Tell you what. If I pass your little quiz on Pride and Prejudice then you have to go through a man test from me." Hey this could be fun. " You can ask me three questions and I'll ask you three. Whoever gets the most right wins."

Now for the important task. Picking a prize. "So what shall the reward be?"

"Well, seeing as how I'm about to go where no man has gone before and drown myself in estrogen I think it is only equally as fair if you do something that would be considered a 'guy' thing." My mind immediately runs through the things I could do to him... Hmm...

"Tell you what. If I pass your little quiz on Pride and Prejudice then you have to go through a man test from me." A "Man" Test?

" You can ask me three questions and I'll ask you three. Whoever gets the most right wins."

A "Man" Test? On what?

"So what shall the reward be?" Hmm
"Well it's your idea... so you should pick. But first you have to explain what about a man I'm going to be tested on." I say and then smile as I continue. "I mean, do you want me to be tested on your "Godfather" movie or your books or men's bad excuses, what men like doing... or what men like having done? Because I think I'll be pretty good at that last one "

I typed pretty good so he doesn't think I'm a slut... but I still feel like I am.

"Well it's your idea... so you should pick. But first you have to explain what about a man I'm going to be tested on." She wants details. Good that means she's serious. "I mean, do you want me to be tested on your "Godfather" movie or your books or men's bad excuses, what men like doing... or what men like having done? Because I think I'll be pretty good at that last one " I bet she is. Mmmm. My thoughts trail to places they shouldn't. A happy land where hand cuffs, whip cream, and flavored massage oil all live in peace and harmony.

"Well, sense you know so much about 'men' and our habits wh don't we go for a generalization. Such as behavior. What we do and what it means. I'll even give you multiple choice answers if you think that would help." I tease mercilessly. "As for a prize our materials are rather limited seeing as how cyber space was not created for such pleasures. How about winner tells the other their deepest darkest secret? I know we aren't getting personal but who can you tell the most outrageous of things to? A perfect stranger."

I smile at the idea. I want to know what truly makes her tick and this is my one shot at figuring it out. "What do you say? Are you up to the challenge?"

I state smirking. "How about... a week... possibly to be extended to ten days if you haven't read the book by then...because I'm nice and a good girl...unlike you you baaad boy "

I smirk as I type, "Do you want to just tell me your secret now so that you don't get more humiliated than need be?"

Not being able to control my excitment I rise from my desk chair and pace the room anxiously awaiting her next message. "You have yourself a deal. I could answer your questions right now... but I'm guessing you will need a chance to read the book... even though its not gonna help against me." Hmm. She's right. I guess I'll have to drop by the book store as soon as I can. I don't have anything scheduled for tomorrow yet. Perhaps I swing by Fox Books on my to the park.

On my days off I like to chill out there. Just sit on the park bench and reflect. I do my best thinking there. "How about... a week... possibly to be extended to ten days if you haven't read the book by then...because I'm nice and a good girl...unlike you you baaad boy " I have to smirk devilishly at this. Cocky isn't she? Well, we'll see how she likes being taken down a notch. "Doll, I wouldn't start counting your chickens before they hatch. I know we agreed on not revealing specifics but I think it's only fair that I warn you I majored in Comparative Literature at Brown." I pause for the que of dramatic music. "You're toast." I send with a pleased smile.
