Liz's grandmother was called 'Claudia' right?

And she was the mother of which one of Liz's parents?

This has completly skipped my mind for some reason

I was wondering if anyone knew in what episode, if any, Max's Jeep is referred to as "Bob"? I know that the Jeep is called Bob in fanfiction a lot, but no one seems to know if that stemmed from the show, or just became really popular in fanfic lore.

Thanks,

I'm pretty sure the Bob thing originated from the fans. I don't think the Jeep was ever referred to as Bob in the show.

I've heard "BOB" was part of the license plate, but I've been looking for a screencap to back that up and haven't found it.

The jeep was called Good Ole Bob in the transcript on Antarians.net in epi 3x08 Behind the Music when Philip is recovering it.

I don't know what basis they used for that... but it's the only time Bob is used in reference to the jeep in the transcripts.

On a side not this reference is not in the transcripts at Crashdown.com.

No, I think it's a fan thing, from at least season 2. I remember running into the term a lot at http://www.fanforum.com. Especially when the Jeep was destroyed in Departure, people would put a "wave" smilie and Bob, as in "bye Bob". But it certainly started among the forums.

In which episode did Alex go to “Sweden”? And how long was he gone for?

It's not very clear. The last episode before Sweden that Colin had a part in, (or that Alex was really mentioned in for that matter,) was "Meet the Dupes", where he was late to the meeting that Max called at the UFO center, saw Lonnie, Rath, and Ava skulking around, and thought that they were Isabel, Michael, and Tess playing dress-up, until he notices the real ones downstairs.

He's missing without any explanation for "Max in the city", "A Roswell Christmas Carol", and "To serve and protect", and comes back full of stories about Sweden in the beginning of "We are family." We're not really sure how long he was gone, how long the supposed 'exchange program' would have been. (Debate rages in particular whether it would be strange and a giveaway that something was wrong to have an exchange program take him away from his family just before Christmas.)

Considering that Tess actually arranged his disappearance, it seems likely that it DIDN'T happen before Tess and Max left for New York, and that something Tess learned from Rath/Lonnie might have given her the idea, or clued her into the powers that she'd need to manipulate Alex for that long, or that bonding with Max over that series of events gave her hope that there was a point to her entire plan.

Hope that this helps somewhat.

when Alex came back in We are Family, he complained about knowing anything anymore, even though he was "only gone for a month"
