Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced The Tattooist which stars Jason Behr, Mia Blake, and Michael Hurst. The Peter Burger directed horror will be available to own from the 24th June, and should retail at around $24.94. The film itself will be presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a commentary with Director Peter Burger and Actor Jason Behr, 5 featurettes (Behind the Scenes, Behind the Tattoo Designs, The Colors of The Tattooist, Real Life Samoan Tattoo, Becoming a Chief) and deleted scenes. Stay tuned for artwork.

No problem. I saw this at the AFM last November and it was amazing, Jason did such a good job. I also got the DVD from NZ but it doesn't have the commentary so this news makes it so much more exciting

I'm very pleased to hear that you all had a great time at the screening! I was super bummed that I couldn't go. But getting commentary on the DVD sure makes up for it! i just wanted to ask are any of his movies like Tatooist and D-war coming on in REGION 2 DVD?

I don't even know the difference between Region 1 and Region 2, so I can't answer your question, sorry! I wish I could! If I hear anything I will let you know, though!
As for that poll, as attractive as all of those men are, I pick Jason--esp. back when they were DATING! I can't believe that journalist didn't mention they dated! Although T.R. is a close second--I just love him!

There are 6 different region codes for DVDs across the world (1-6). Region 1 is the coding for US/Canadian DVDs (NTSC playback) and Region 2 is the coding for European DVDs (PAL playback). Region 1 DVDs can only be played in the US/Canada and Region 2 can only be played in Europe - e.g. if you insert a US DVD into a European PAL player, the DVD won't play. However, it is possible to buy Region 0 DVD players (also known as multi-regional) which will play any region DVDs.
