I spot Nicholas and ignore him,instead turn to talk to some of my ladies-in-waiting.The orchestra begins playing now that Kivar and I are seated and the guests start mingling and talking once more.
Tess hasn't put in an appearance yet.Touching Kivar on the arm to draw his attention away from one of his ministers I speak in his ear,"May be when Tess comes in you could ask her to dance."

I lean closer as Lonnie whispers in my ear and nod at her suggestion. "I was planning on saving all my dances for another certain queen but it would be rude and negligent of me not to dance with Ava." My head has started hurting yet again. I cannot believe this. Usually the pills last at least the whole day. Now I find that I need another one. I discreetly turn away from Vilandra and pull out one of the pills hopefully without anyone noticing and pop it in my mouth. I take a sip of my water, not wishing to start eating without my sister here.

My eyes widen in excitement and I can't help but smile broadly,"Oh I'd love that.It's been ages since I've been for a holiday...well excluding the ones on Taggora of course...I haven't been anywhere else.Heck,I haven't even been home to Antar since I married your brother.Anyway,Valentia has been on my list of planets that I've wanted to see for a long time."
Taking a sip of wine I continue,"I've seen Reschvet thanks to our family being so close to Michael's and of course Taggora is my home now but if I can see Valentia that'll be four out of the five in our system that I've been on.I'll have to ask Kivar though,for some reason he's never been too keen on holidays."

"Would you mind sending for the doctor and some tea? I think I need to grab a damp cloth and help clean some of Maria's scrapes."
I bow my head, "Of course Princess, right away." And with that I quickly walk away from Liz, even though I wish I didn't have to... and through the castle trying to find someone to get to fetch the doctor. I then go on the hunt for tea.

I hear my sister invite my wife to visit Valentia and I'm a bit hurt. Why does the invitation not extend to me? I'm Ava's brother after all and the king of Tagorra. I say nothing to them, however, waiting for Vilandra to bring it up directly to me. Instead, I turn to the beautiful Lady Yarla who has been sat beside me and ask, "Do you like the soup, Lady Yarla?" She is a young widow with long red hair and the greenest eyes ever given to a woman. It is rumored that she keeps a rotating list of lovers. My headache has not yet completely abated and it is making me irritable.

My smile falters for a moment,"Tess said anytime,Kyle extended the invitation and she says I rather we can go with her.This will be good for us Kivar...getting away from all of this."
Taking his hand in mine I lean closer to his ear,"Who knows,may be we'll pick up some new love-making techniques from the Valentians." I raise my eyebrows at him as I pull back and smile
"Excuse me your highness,would you do me the honour of sharing this dance with me?" I look up at Lord Moxon who'se holding his hand out for me to take,his timing is a bit off but I don't want to be rude
"Why certainely Lord Moxon." I reply and get up "I'll be back soon." I tell Kivar and take Moxon's hand
