She starts to laugh and I have to say she doesn't sound like she has laughed in a long time.

She gets up from the window seat and walks over to the bed. Lying down she says " Your pretty funny for a human. And beside I don't even mind tricks, I can't do that. Well I don't know anyone can do that..."

Offering a little piece of information about the other one like her I reply,

"She can make you see things that aren't really there. See and feel 'em." I shudder remembering the half naked Michael that bestowing feverent kisses along my collarbone.

"She has quite the sense of humor too."

"Well it good that people have friends and have someone to talk to..." Unlike me I have no one and can't talk anyone about my alieness. But there Michael and Alex, but that different. I want a girl to talk to not a man that think with his fist not with his head.

I wonder what it would be like if Michael and I were seperate. I wonder.

"Well, it probably doesn't count for much but you can talk to me. I can't really relate on the whole 'powers' thing, but I know what it feels like to be different."

I shrug nonchalantly, "I've always been an outsider."

I've always been an outsider." she said reading my mind. I know I'm type that doesn't show my feelings or that I didn't get hurt. I been like that for a long time. I can't get the images out my head that if I am nice and friendly it means that people will hurt me and take advantage of me. And I don't want that to happen.

"You know for a human with no powers you sure can read mind..." I said with a smile.
