We drive up to my house and I look over at Max who nods.
I look back to see Philip smile at me as well.
“Come on baby” Max says as he holds my hand.
I jump out of the car and walk up to the door with Max by my side and Philip behind us.
My dad answers the door and looks at me suspiciously.
“Elizabeth who are these people?” he asks and I look at Max.
“This is my boyfriend Max and his father Philip” I say and I see my fathers eyes narrow.
“You have no boyfriend” he says as he looks at me with furious eyes.
“Yes dad I do, and I’m pregnant” I say.
“You’re what?”
“I’m pregnant, I’m having Max’s child” I say as I fight the tears.
Before I can react he slaps me across the face.
I fall into Max’s strong arms.
I feel the tears fall as the stinging pain on my cheek increases.
“Sorry Mr Parker” Max says.
“For what?” Dad asks and before he notices anything.
He falls to the floor… Max just punched him out….YAY
“For that” he says as he shakes his hand.
“Now Mr Parker my name is Philip Evans and I am not only Liz’s Boyfriends father I am also he lawyer” Philip says as he kneels down near my dad.
“What do you want” My father asks as he stands.
“I want you to sign these papers”
“What are they?”
“There so I can leave and I wont be your responsibility anymore” I say as I look at him in the eyes.
“This is the thanks I get after everything I have done for you?” he asks and I nod.
“I just want to be free” I say and he nods.
He snatches the pen off of Philip and signs the papers.
“I don’t ever want to see you again” he says as he looks at me.
And I smile …
“You won’t …” I say as we leave.
