Chapter 41

Max turned and looked at the house then the car.Max walked up to the car and opened the door. Max sat in front seat of the car while Michael and Spike sit in the backseat. A few minutes later Max was fast asleep.

In the morning:
Liz woke up and walked to the closet. She looked at her clothes trying to decide what to wear. Liz pulled out her hip hugger jeans and a white short sleeve t-shirt to wear. Liz walked up to her bed and sat down. Liz changed clothes and reached down to grab her tennis shoes. Liz put on her shoes and tied them.

After Liz had her shoes on he walked to the mirror on her dresser. Liz brushed her hair and put on a little makeup. Liz turned and walked up to her bed and made it. After the bed was made Liz walked out the door. She walked down the hallway and down the stairs. Liz walked into the kitchen and saw Maria drinking coffee. Maria was wearing a pair of hip hugger jeans with a tie-dye short sleeve t-shirt. Maria looked up and saw Liz. Maria smiled at Liz and handed her a cup of coffee. They both turned and looked at each other.

"Are you going to ask Toney?" Maria asked.

"Yes I can't believe they didn't tell us the truth," Liz said.

"I know. I'm still mad at them,"Maria said.

"I know so am I," Liz said.

"Are you going to talk to Max and Michael?" Maria asked.

"I don't know. What about you?" Liz asked.

"I don't know either. I know I'm mad at them. But I don't know what to do," Maria said.

"I know I feel the same way," Liz said.

"Lets hope this meeting is a little better," Maria said.

"I think it might be," Liz said.

"what do you mean?" Maria asked.

"Max and Michael are bringing Spike to the meeting. I say it is going to be a very interesting to see what will happen,"Liz said.

"How do you know?" Maria asked

"How do I know what?" Liz asked.

"How do you know Max and Michael are going to bring Spike to the meeting?" Maria asked.

"Well all three of them are in Michael's car and Michael and Spike are handcuff together in the back seat," Liz said.

"No way," Maria said.

"Yes they are. I say we follow them to Toney's. What do you say?" Liz asked.

"Yeah I agree. Because I still don't want to be around Michael," Maria said.

"I'll call them and let them know," Liz said.

Liz reached into her pocket and pulled out her cell phone. Liz dialed Max's number. The phone ringed a couple of times before Max answered.

"Hello,"Max asked.

"Max it's Liz. We wanted to let you know we're going to follow you to Toney's," Liz said.

"Oh ok. Liz you and Maria need to know we didn't mean not to tell you," Max said.

"Max we have been friends for a couple of months now. You should have told us not let us find out this way," Liz said.

"I know. And we are very sorry," Max said.

"Max we don't want to hear it ok. Just let us know when your ready to leave and we will follow you," Liz said.

"We will leave in 10 minutes," Max said.

"Fine. See you then,"Liz said before closing her cell phone.

"Liz,"Max asked.

Max looked at his phone and saw Liz hung up on him. Max closed his cell phone and put it in his pocket.

"What?" Michael asked

"The girls are going to follow us to Toney's. And they are still mad at us for not telling them," Max said.

"Great. This meeting is going to be crazy. And I still have a bad feeling about it," Michael said.

"I know. But we need to wait and see how it goes," Max said.

Max looked up and saw Liz and Maria walking to Maria's car. He watched as Maria got in the car while Liz stood next to the door. Liz turned and looked at Max. She flipped him off and smiled. Then Liz got in the car. Maria started the car and drove off. Max started his car and followed Maria. As Max was driving he kept looking behind him to see if anyone was following them. Max didn't see anyone behind them.

When they got Toney's place everyone got out of their cars. Liz and Maria turned and looked at Max and Michael. Max and Michael looked at Liz and Maria then turned and walked towards the house.

Liz and Maria followed Max, Michael and Spike into the house. When they walked in they saw Toney and Alice sitting in the living room. Max and Michael grabbed Spike and put him to the side. Liz and Maria look at Toney then turned away. Toney stood up and walked up to Liz. Liz turned and saw Toney standing in front of her.

"Liz I need to talk to you alone," Toney said

"Fine," Liz said.

"Come on we'll go in the next room,"Toney said.

Toney and Liz walked out of the living room. They walked into the dining room. Toney and Liz turned and looked at each other.

"Liz what is going on?" Toney asked.

"I know what you, Max and Michael do for a living," Liz said.

"What do you mean?" Toney asked.

"I know your a mob boss and Max and Michael hurt people. Why didn't you tell me?" Liz asked.

"Liz?" Toney asked as he reached to touch her.

"Don't touch me. I want to know why you didn't tell me?" Liz asked.

"I didn't. I wanted to tell you but things came up," Toney said.

"Don't pull that bullshit. Just tell me the damn truth Toney," Liz said.

"I'm sorry I lied to you. Please forgive me?," Toney asked.

I don't know. I can't believe you lied and didn't tell me the truth," Liz said.

"Liz I swear I was going to tell you," Toney said.

"I don't believe you," Liz said.

"Liz I swear for now on I'll tell you things," Toney said.

"I don't know if I can believe you," Liz said.

Toney walked up to Liz and put his hands on her shoulder. They both looked at each other.

"Liz I promise I will tell you from now on," Toney said.

Liz nodded her head then turned away. Then turned back and looked at Toney.

"we still need to talk about this," Liz said.

"Liz I know and we will," Toney said.

"What are you going to do about the guy?" Liz asked.

"You don't want to know what we have planned," Toney said.

"Why won't you tell me?" Liz asked.

"Liz do you really want to know what we do?" Toney asked.

"No. But. God this is crazy," Liz said.

"Come on I want to find out what this asshole knows," Toney said.

Toney and Liz walked out of the dining room. they walked into the living room and saw Maria standing against the wall and Michael, Alice , Max and Spike sitting on the couch. Liz walked up to Maria and stood next to her. Toney walked up to Max and Michael. Toney stood in front of Spike. Spike looked up at Toney.

"Tell me what you know," Toney said.

"I won't talk. You can't make me," Spike said.

"Oh yeah, bring out the tools," Toney said.

"You don't scare me," Spike said.

"Well see about that," Toney said.

Toney turned and grabbed the bag from Alice. Toney turned and looked back at Spike. Max and Michael tightened their hold on Spike. Liz and Maria looked at Max and Michael.They couldn't believe that this was really going to happen in front of them. Liz and Maria watched as Toney looked at Spike.

"Are you going to talk or should I pull out a tool?" Toney asked

"You wouldn't do that," Spike said.

"You wanna bet," Toney asked.

"I still think you won't do it," Spike said.

Toney opened the bag and pulled out a hammer. Toney raised the hammer in the air. Liz turned and saw Alice just watching Toney. She noticed Alice wasn't scared or shocked. Liz grabbed Maria's hand. Maria turned and looked at Alice. Maria notice how Alice was acting. Then when she looked at Liz. They both knew something weird was going on. But they couldn't figure it out.

Maria and Liz turned and looked at Toney. When they heard something cracked They saw the hammer on Spikes hand. Liz and Maria saw the blood around the hand and on the floor. Liz walked out of the living room and walked into the kitchen. When Liz walked into the kitchen she ran to the trash can and threw up. After Liz was finished she walked up to the sink and cleaned herself up. Liz turned and saw Toney standing in front of her. Toney walked up to Liz. They stood face to face. Toney reached up and touched Liz's arm. Liz jerked away from Toney's touch.

"Don't touch me after what you did," Liz said.

"Liz?" Toney asked

Liz stopped and looked at Toney.

"I said don't touch me," Liz said.

"Liz what did I do?" Toney asked.

"I ....I can't," Liz said.

"Liz?" Toney asked.

"Toney this is evil what your doing. You have to know that," Liz said.

"Liz I'm," Toney said.

"Your what Toney? Try to take care of business. This is something more," Liz said.

"I'm trying to find out he knows. And I'm trying to keep you and Maria safe," Toney said.

"Safe from what? If you love me you will stop this. Because I I don't think I can handle this. Do you love me enough to stop?" Liz asked.

Chapter 42

Right at that moment Max into the kitchen. He stood in the door way looking and listening to Liz and Toney.

"Do you love me enough to stop this? Or am I just one of those girls?" Liz asked.

"Liz that is not an easy question your asking,"Toney said.

"Yes it is. Just answer the question?" Liz said.

After a few minutes of quiet. Liz looked at Toney.

"Well I guess I got my question," Liz said.

"Liz wait," Toney said.

"For what Toney?" Liz asked.

Liz turned and saw Max in the doorway.She saw that Max felt bad for her. She saw his eyes saying sorry.

"Max can you please take me home?" Liz asked.

Max looked between Liz and Toney.

"Um sure. Um you better go tell Maria your leaving," Max said.

"Ok. Um meet you in the living room," Liz said as he walked past Max.

Toney and Max both looked at each other.

"What happened?" Max asked

"Liz can't handle this. And she asked if I love her and I would stop. I was quiet thinking. And she said she got her answer. You know the rest," Toney said.

"What are you going to do?" Max asked.

"I don't know. But I guess I'll have to think about it,"Toney said.

"Think about what if you love Liz or if your going to stop?" Max asked

"I don't want to talk about it right now. You better go and take her home," Toney said.

"Yeah, I better. Talk to you later I guess," Max said before walking out of the kitchen.

Max walked into the living room and saw Liz and Maria on the other side of the room. As Max walked up to Liz and Maria her hear what they were saying.

"Liz why are you leaving?"Maria asked.

"Maria I need to leave. Max is just taking me home," Liz said.

"What happened?" Maria asked.

"I told Toney I couldn't deal with this. And I asked if her would stop? And if he loved me? All he did was be quiet. He didn't answer anything. So I told him I was going home," Liz said.

"I can't believe he didn't say anything. What are you going to do?" Maria asked.

"I don't know. But I guess he is going to think about it. But I don't know if I'm going to wait for an answer," Liz said.

"I agree with you there," Maria said.

"Thanks," Liz said.

"Max is standing behind you," Maria said.

Liz turned and saw Max standing in front of her. Max and Liz were face to face.

"Liz are you ready to go?" Max asked.

"Um yeah lets go," Liz said.

"Ok. Come on," Max said.

Liz turned d looked at Maria.

"I'll see you at home Maria," Liz said.

"Ok. see you at home," Maria said.

Max and Liz grabbed their things and walked out of the living room. They walked down the hallway to the front door and walked to Max's car. Max and Liz got in the car and drove off. Max and Liz didn't Max and Liz didn't say anything to each other as Max drove home. When Max pulled into the driveway they both turned and looked at each other.

"What?" Liz asked.

"Liz are you ok?" Max asked.

"Max what I saw scared the hell out of me. I don't understand how you and Michael can do that," Liz said.

"Liz I'm sorry we scared you. This is what we do when we work for Toney. I hope you understand," Max said.

"Max I don't know if I can. Because that is scary. I don't know what to think of this," Liz said.

"Liz I think you should think about it. Because if your hanging out with us; or even dating Toney this is what will happen sometimes,"Max said.

"Yeah, I know. But this is crazy," Liz said.

"Trust me things are crazy all the time,"Max said.

"I'm starting to see that," Liz said.

"Yeah," Max said.

"Max why did you look a little worried when you walked in the kitchen?"Liz asked.

"I was worried about you. This was a lot to take in for you," Max said.

"Yeah, that is true. Do you want to come in?" Liz asked.

"Are you sure?" Max asked.

"I wouldn't ask if I wasn't sure. So come on," Liz said.

Max and Liz both got out of the car and walked up to the door. Liz reached into her pocket and grabbed the house key. Liz pulled the key out and unlocked the door. She unlocked the door. Liz turned on the light as he walked in. Max followed Liz into the living room. Max watched as Liz grabbed a bottle from the cabinet. She turned and looked at Max.

"What is that?" Max asked.

"A bottle of vodka I took from my dad. I'm going to poor some. Do you want some?" Liz asked.

"What the hell yeah I'll have some," Max said.

Liz walked out of the living room and walked into the kitchen. Liz grabbed 2 cups and walked back to the living room she saw Max sitting down on the couch. Liz walked up to the couch and sat next to Max.Liz set the bottles and cups down on the table. Liz grabbed the bottle and poured her and Max a drink. After she poured the drinks she set the bottle down. Max and Liz both grabbed their cups and drank their drinks quickly. A few minutes later Liz and Max had drank 6 cups of vodka between them. They were both drunk. Max and Liz turned and looked at each other. They both smiled.

Max leaned in and kissed Liz. The kiss was soft and tender. Then the kiss become hot and passionate. As they were kissing Liz leaned back. Max fell on top of Liz. As they were kissing they were touching each other everywhere. They couldn't keep their hands off each other. Liz grabbed the edge of Max's shirt and pulled it up and over his head. After Max's shirt was off Max started to kiss Liz's neck as his hands reached for the edge of Liz's shirt. Max pulled Liz's shirt up and over her head. Max dropped the shirt to the floor and looked at Liz

Max and Liz both leaned in and started to kiss. Max kissed Liz's check and down her neck. He kissed her chest and started to kiss her bra cover breast. Liz raised her body as Max started to kiss her covered breast. Max kissed up her body to her lips. As they were kissing their lower bodies start to move against each other. Max and Liz were both moaning as they were kissing. They started to move against each other faster and faster. They were both close to each other. Max and Liz moved quickly against each other as they felt the need. Max pushed his hips against Liz and that is when they both went over the edge saying each others name.

A few seconds later after Max and Liz have calmed down. They both looked at each other Max sat up and grabbed his shirt. After Max had his shirt on he reached down and grabbed Liz's shirt. Max handed Liz her shirt. Liz sat up and put her shirt on. After Liz had her shirt on she looked at her hands. Max looked at Liz then looked around.

"Max what just happened?" Liz asked

"I I don't know," Max said.

"That never happened to me before," Liz said.

"That never happened before either,"Max said.

"What do we do now?" Liz said

"I don't know. We need to just keep this between us. We can't tell anyone," Max said.

"I won't say a word," Liz said.

"I won't say a word either," Max said.

"Ok. Um what now?" Liz asked.

"I don't know," Max said.

Max and Liz both looked at each other then turned away. Liz stood up and picked up the bottle and walked to the kitchen. Liz threw away the bottle. Liz turned and saw Max standing in the door way with 2 cups. They looked at each other for a few seconds then Max walked past Liz and put the cup in the sink. Max turned and looked at Liz. Max walked up to Liz and turned her to face him. Max and Liz both looked at each other.

"Liz you need to think about what your going to do about what you found out today," Max said.

"I know I need to think about it. I just think this is not going to be easy," Liz said.

"Yeah, it won't be easy. But like I said you need to think about it," Max said.

"And we have to. I guess we need to forget what happened between us huh?" Liz said.

"Yeah, we better. Liz got a lot going on," Max said

"Max are we still friends?" Liz asked

Chapter 43:
"Liz we will always be friends. No matter what I'll always be your friend," Max said.

"I'm going to hold you to that," Liz said.

"You better," Max said.

Max and Liz both smiled at each other.

"Come on lets go watch some tv. Michael and Maria get back we'll decide where me and Michael will sleep and stay," Max said.

"Ok. That sounds good to me," Liz said.

Max and Liz walked out of the kitchen and walked into the living room. They both sat down and turned on tv. Liz flipped through the channels til she found a movie called Sweet Dream. Liz set the remote down and moved back. Max and Liz watched the movie. A few minutes later both Max and Liz fell sleep on the couch. A few hours later Michael and Maria walked into the house. They walked into the living room and saw Max and Liz asleep on the couch. Maria walked to the side of the couch and grabbed a blanket. Maria put the blanket over Max and Liz Then she walked back to Michael. Maria and Michael walked out of the living room and walked into the kitchen. Michael and Maria looked at each other.

"Michael you can stay up stairs in spare bedroom if you want," Maria said.

"That sounds good to me. We better get some sleep," Michael said.

Michael and Maria walked out of the kitchen. They walked to the stairs. They walked up the stairs down the hallway to Maria's room and the room next to hers. Maria walked in her room while Michael walked into the spare room. They both changed clothes and went to their beds. A few seconds later Maria and Michael fell sleep.

In the Morning:
Max and Liz woke up. They both looked around and saw they were laying close together. Max and Liz both looked at each other then looked down and saw they had a cover on them.

"Where did this blanket come from?" Max asked.

"I don't know. But we need to get up and change," Liz said.

Max and Liz both stood up.

"Um, I better go upstairs and change clothes," Liz said.

"I um better go home and get cleaned up and changed," Max said.

Max watched as Liz walked upstairs. After he was sure Liz was upstairs he walked up to the front door and walked out. Max walked down the drive way and across the street. Max walked up to his house and walked in. Max walked upstairs to his room. He grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom. Max took a quick shower. A few minutes later Max got dressed and walked back to Liz's place. When Max walked in he saw Liz coming down stairs. Max saw that Liz was dressed in a short sleeve sundress with sandals on her feet. Liz looked up and saw Max. they both looked at each other and smiled.

"I see you can clean up real nicely," Liz said.

"Thanks I think," Max said.

"You know I mean well," Liz said.

"Yeah, I know. Are Maria and Michael up yet?" Max asked.

"Maria is in the shower as we speak and I don't know where Michael is," Liz said.

"Come lets go check the kitchen," Max said.

Max and Liz walked into the kitchen. When they walked in the saw Michael drinking a cup of coffee. Michael looks up and sees Max and Liz. They all looked at each other.

"Hey how are you both feeling?" Michael asked.

"We're fine. What happened after we left Toney's?" Max asked.

"Nothing. Toney told me that you and I need to stay with Liz and Maria. We got to protect them," Michael said.

"Is that all Toney wanted?" Max asked.

"Oh and he wants me to remind you that we have 2 parties. One in a week. And the second party in 2 weeks," Michael said.

"What are these parties like?" Liz asked.

"Well when Toney has his parties everyone shows up. They must be able to have fun," Max said.

"What happens at these parties?" Liz asked.

"Everyone drinks, talks, dance and some other things. People have fun at these parties," Max said.

"Are we going?" Liz asked.

"If you and Maria want to go. we'll go." Michael said.

"Well ask her when she comes down stairs," Liz said.

"You'll ask me what?" A voice said.

Max,Liz and Michael turned and saw Maria standing in the doorway. They saw that Maria was wearing a blue knee length dress with sandals.

"Ask me what?" Maria asked.

"Do you want to go to Toney's party he is having in a week and another one the week after?" Michael asked.

"Sure, why not. It might be fun. When is the first party?" Maria asked

"The first party is next Friday. The second party is in 2 weeks on a Friday too. So do you want to go?" Michael asked.

"Yes I'll go to both parties. It will be our date nights. Liz are you going to go?" Maria asked.

"Sure why not. I would like to see what these parties are like,"Liz said.

"Are you sure you would want to go?" Max asked.

"Yes. As long as you can keep me company," Liz said.

"Ok. I'll keep you company. Maybe it will be fun," Max said.

"Great. I'll call Toney and let him know we will be there for both parties," Michael said.

Michael reached in his pocket and pulled out his cell phone. He dialed Toney's number. The phone ringed 3 times before Toney picked up the phone.

"Hello?" Toney asked.

"Hey Toney. I wanted you to know we're all coming to the parties," Michael said.

"Wait is Liz coming too?" Toney asked.

"Yeah, we're coming to both parties. Hey before I forget did Alice say she will be able to come to the parties?" Michael asked.

"Yeah, Alice said she will be there for both parties. Her mom is going to take care of the baby or a while. why?" Toney asked.

"I was just wondering. How many people are coming to the parties?" Michael asked.

"There will be maybe a 100 people or more at both parties," Toney said.

"Wow that is a lot of people at your house," Michael said.

"Yeah, I know. I already got people cooking. I got a decorator for the party," Toney said.

"What is going on for today?" Michael asked.

"Me and Alice are going to try and see if we can find out what Spikes knows. And we're going to see who hired him and who the killer is," Toney said.

"What do you want me and Max to do?" Michael asked.

"You guys need to take care of Liz and Maria. We'll talk again later. Hopefully we'll have some info on What Spike knows and who hired him. And plus who the killer is," Toney said.

"Well good luck. We will talk to you later," Michael said.

"Yeah, talk to you later," Toney said.

Michael closed his cell phone and put it back in his pocket. He looked up and saw Liz, Max and Maria looking at him.

"So what did Toney say?" Max asked.

"Toney told me we should take care of the girls. He's got a few things to do. But he'll call us later," Michael said.

"Ok. So what does everyone want to do?" Max asked.

"I need to go shopping for dresses for the parties," Maria said.

"Ok. Liz what do you want to do?" Max asked

"I agree with Maria. Are the parties dressy or casual?" Liz asked.

"Toneys parties are half and half. So hopefully that will be helpful," Michael said.

"Ok. That helps. Good thing your going with us," Maria said.

"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Michael asked.

"Oh don't worry. It will be fun," Maria said.

"How bad can this get?" Max asked.

"You don't want to know," Liz said.

"Liz tell me the truth how bad can this get?" Max asked.

"Max all I'm going to say is I hope your wearing comfortable shoes," Liz said before walking out of the kitchen.

Chapter 44

When Max walked into the living room he saw everyone was ready to go. Max walked up to Liz and stood next to her. Michael opened the door and everyone walked out to Michael's car. When Max and Michael got to the car they opened the door for Liz and Maria. The girls looked at the guys then got in the car.

After Liz and Maria were in the car Max and Michael got in the car. Michael started the car and drove off. Michael drove to the mall and dropped Liz, Max and Maria and the door while he went to park the car. A few minutes later Michael got out of his car and walked up to Liz, Max and Maria. They all walked into the mall. Liz and Maria dragged Max and Michael to 10 different stores. Max and Michael had 25 bags between them. While Liz was in one store he got something for Max. After the shopping was finished Michael went and got the car.

When Michael pulled up to them Max put all the shopping bags in the car while Liz and Maria got in the car.Max got in the car. Michael started the car and drove back to the house. When they got to the house Max and Michael helped the girls get their bags in the house. After the bags were in the house Max and Michael went to sit down while Liz and Maria took their bags upstairs. They girls put their clothes up. Liz turned and set a bag on her bed then she went to the doorway.

"Max can you come up here for a minutes please?" Liz yelled.

Meanwhile downstairs

Max turned and looked at Michael. Michael looked at Max with a smile on his face. Max stood up and walked out of the living room and walked up the stairs. Max walked down the hallway to Liz's room. When Max walked to Liz's room he saw Liz was sitting on the bed with a bag. Max walked into the room and shut the door behind him. Liz looked up and saw Max standing in front of her. Max and Liz both looked at each other.

"Liz what do you need?" Max asked.

"Here I got you something," Liz said as she gave Max and bag.

"Why?" Max asked.

"Because I'm trying to be a friend to you," Liz said.

"Oh," Max said.

"Fine be that way. I'll just take it back then," Liz said as she grabbed the bag out of Max's hand.

"No. I want to open it," Max said as he got the bag out of Liz's hand.

Max opened the bag. He reached in and pulled something out. Max looked down and saw it was something. Max opened it more and saw that it was a shirt. He noticed the shirt was kinda dressy/ casual. he laid the shirt over his arm and looked up at Liz.

"I hope you like it," Liz said.

"It's great thank you. I don't know what to say,"Max said.

"Well Thank you will be fine. I hope it fits you," Liz said.

"It will. This is really nice of you," Max said.

"We're friends and I wanted to do something nice for you," Liz said.

"Well you did," Max said.

"Good," Liz said.

"So what does your dresses look like for the parties?" Max asked.

"Max I can't tell you, You will have to wait and find out Friday," Liz said.

"What? No hint,"Max said.

"No you will have to wit and see," Liz said.

"Fine. But promise me the dress will be decent for the party?" Max asked

"Yes it will be," Liz said.

"Good. So this is your room huh?" Max asked.

"Yeah, what do you think?" Liz asked.

"The room is great," Max said.

Max walked to the window. When he got to the window he saw everything was ok. Liz turned and walked up to Max. Liz looked at Max then looked out the window. When Liz looked at out the window she saw a guy looking up at them. Max turned and saw Liz had a scared look on her face. Max turned and looked back out the window. And that is when he saw a guy watching them. Max turned and looked and Liz. Max turned Liz to look at him.

"Liz everything is going to be ok. Whoever that is can't hurt you," Max said.

"How do you know that?" Liz asked.

"Because I won't let him hurt or anyone else hurt you. I promise," Max said.

"How can you promise me that?" Liz asked.

"I just do,"Max asked.

Max and Liz both looked at each other. They were about to lean in and kiss when Liz turned and saw the guy was holding something. Liz pulled away and grabbed Max's hand and ran out of the room. They ran out of the room and down the hallways and down the stairs. Max opened the door and walked out before Liz did. Max let go of Liz's hand and turned to look at her.

"Stay here on the porch," Max said.

"No. I want to go with you," Liz said.

"Liz just stay here. I'll be right back," Max said.

"Ok.," Liz said.

Max walked up to the the guy. Both men stood face to face. Liz watched as Max stood in front of her. She was scared and worried something was going to happen.

"What do you want?" Max asked.

"I have something for Miss Parker. It's from her father," The guy said.

"What is it?" Liz yelled.

"I don't know. All I know is that I'm suppose to give to Miss Parker and leave. So come here please?" The guy said.

"Give it to me and I'll give it to her," Max said.

The guy looked at Liz then looked at Max. The guy handed Max the envelope and left. Max watched as the guy walked away. After the guy was gone Max walked up to Liz and handed her the envelope. Liz looked at it then looked up at Max. Liz opened the envelope and pulled out whatever was in it. Liz saw pictures of her with Max, Maria and Michael. Then there was picture of Max and Liz alone together. As there was pictures of Liz and Toney alone together. Liz handed the picture to Max. Liz found a note. She opened the note and began to read it.

The note read:

Dear Lizzie,

When are you ever going to learn. I'm watching you and your friends. You can't run from me forever. When I find you and Maria you both will know what I mean by trouble. And as for Max, Toney and Michael I'll deal with them personally for talking and touching you. No one will lay a hand on you and Maria ever again. Oh one more thing Tell Al and Beauty I'll be coming to for them really soon too. See you soon Princess.

Love,
Daddy.

Liz read the letter twice to make sure she was reading it right. Liz looked up and looked around. Then Liz looked at the house. when Liz walked to the window she saw Maria and Michael looking at her. Liz turned and saw Max looking at her.

"Liz what did the letter say?" Max asked.

"Here read for yourself. I need to um talk to Maria," Liz said.

"Go ahead and send Michael out here ok," Max said.

Yeah, sure," Liz said.

Liz walked in the house and walked up to Maria and Michael. Michael and Maria both looked at Liz and saw how scared she was.

"Michael Max need to see you outside," Liz said.

"Is everything ok?" Michael asked.

"No. Everything is not ok," Liz said.

"what do you mean?" Maria asked.

"Michael please I need to talk to Maria alone?" Liz asked.

"Yeah, sure. I'll be right out there if anyone need me or Max," Michael said.

Liz and Maria both nodded their heads. They watched as Michael walked out of the living room and out the door. They watched as Michael walked out the door and walked up to Max. Liz and Maria saw Max and Michael talking. They both turned and looked at each other.

"What is going on?" Maria asked.

"My dad thinks he found us. He sent pictures of all of us together. Some of them were just me and Max and just me and Toney together. He made a threat to you ,me Al and Beauty. Basically all of us. He even made a threat to Max, Toney and Michael.," Liz said.

"How can he threaten Al nd Beauty. No one knows where they are?" Maria asked.

"I don't know but he did. We need to let Beauty and Al know," Liz said.

"Yeah, we better. I don't know what your father is up to," Maria said.

"Yeah I know. But I don't know if I want to know. All I do know is we have to be ready," Liz said.

"Yeah, who knows what your dad is up to. God I can't believe this. You know we're going to have to tell Max and Michael," Maria said.

"I know. I just hope they won't be pissed when they find out," Liz said.

"Yeah, that is what I'm hoping for too," Maria said.

Liz and Maria both turned and looked at Max and Michael. Max and Michael were talking. Liz and Maria both turned and looked at each other.

"When do you think we should tell them?" Maria asked.

"We will tell them Saturday. Hopefully by them we can Al and Beauty check on things. What do you say?" Liz asked.

"I agree with you. Lets hope they won't get Mad," Maria said.

"I agree with you. I wonder what Max and Michael are talking about," Liz said.

"I'm wondering the same thing," Maria said.

Liz and Maria walked out the door ad walked up to Max and Michael. Max and Michael didn't notice Liz and Maria walking up to them. As Liz and Maria walked up to them they heard.

"Great Liz's dad just threaten Liz, Maria, you , me and some other people. What the hell are we going to do? What the hell does Liz's father do for a living?" Michael asked.

"I don't know. But we better find out before things end of my dangerous," Max said.

Max and Michael turned and saw Liz and Maria looking at them. Max saw by the look of the girls face they heard what he and Michael were talking about.

"Liz?" Max asked

Chapter 45:
"What?" Liz asked.

"Liz, why is your dad threatening us" Max asked.

"We don't know." Liz said.

"Liz, what does your dad do for a living?" Michael asked.

"Why do you want to know?" Maria asked.

"Because we think it's weird that a man we don't know is threatening us," Michael said.

Liz looked at Max then at Maria, she turned and walked away from them and Max followed her to the house. Liz walked into the house and into the kitchen. She grabbed a bottle of Pepsi and went out back and stood in front of the pool looking at the water. Max walked up and stood beside her she turned, looked up and saw him beside her.

"Liz?" Max asked.

"What do you want Max?" She asked.

"Liz please, just tell me what the hell is going on?" Max asked.

Max moved and stood in front of Liz and she looked Max in the face.

"Max I know you want to know. But when you find out the truth it is going to be very dangerous. All I can say is that you and Michael are safe as long as you don't know." Liz said.

"Liz, are you and Maria in trouble?" Max asked.

"You want the truth?" Liz asked.

"Yes. Please tell me the truth?" .

"Yes we're in trouble,"

"Who?" .

"Max let’s just say he knows how to push our buttons. And he can hurt us too,"

"Liz I want to keep you safe. So please tell me?" .

"Max I know you want to. But who is going to keep you safe?"

"Liz Michael and me can take care of ourselves. You don't need to worry about that."

"Yeah, is that why you’re around Toney?"

"Liz?".

"What?"

"Liz you need to understand that we help Toney we don't kill people,"

"Max the pictures and letter and that guy says you kill them. When are you going to admit it to yourself?".

"Liz it's not easy. You need to remember that it is hard for us too,"

"Max, I know it’s hard. Don't you dare think that it's not."

"Liz you need to calm down ok. I'm just saying that know it too,"

Meanwhile in the house Michael and Maria were at the window in the kitchen watching Liz and Max. Michael and Maria turned and looked at each other.

"What?" Maria asked.

"Come on," Michael said.

"Where are we going?" Maria asked.

"We are going to the movies and dinner."

"What about Max and Liz?" Maria asked.

"They can stay here. Get dressed and meet me by the car in 10 minutes.” Michael said.

"Ok. But no funny business." Maria said.

"See you in 10 minutes," Michael said

10 minutes later Michael and Maria met at the front door. They were both dressed in jeans, Maria had a short sleeved t-shirt while Michael wore a long sleeved t-shirt. They both smiled as they walked out of the house to the car. They both smiled as they got in the car and drove off.

Meanwhile outside by the pool:

"Why can't you just tell me?" Max asked.

"Why do you want to know?" Liz asked.

"Because I want to know what we are mixed up in." Max said as he raised his voice.

"How about what you and Michael got us into?" Liz said as she raised her voice.

As Max and Liz raised their voices a guy came and stood against the wall where he could scare them. He pulled a gun out and started to shoot at them. Max grabbed Liz and pushed her to the ground, he laid half on top of Liz to keep her down. He reached behind him and pulled his gun out and pointed it at the guy and started to pull the trigger. After Max shot at the guy 2 times he raised up and saw no one was there. He grabbed Liz and pulled her to her feet. They both ran up to the house. Max pulled Liz into the house and locked the door. After Max shut and locked the door he turned and that is when he got punched in the face and he fell to the floor.

After Liz punched Max she stood up and walked up the stairs to her room and slammed the door. A few minutes later Max came to and looked around. He didn't see Liz anywhere. Max stood up and looked around the house. He walked out of the kitchen and went up the stairs. As he walked up the stairs he checked all of the rooms and didn’t see anyone. He walked up to Liz's room and knocked on the door. He tried to open the door and found it was locked.

"Liz let me in," Max yelled.

"Why should I?" Liz yelled back.

"If you don't let me in I'm going to break down the door," Max said.

"Yeah, right," Liz yelled

Max walked away from the door, he turned and ran to the door. When he got to the door it opened and he fell to the floor. He rolled onto his back and looked up. When he looked up he saw Liz standing next to the open door, They both looked at each other.

"You’re crazy. You know that," Liz said.

"Gee thanks," Max said.

"What do you want Max?"

"Do you know the person that shot at us?"

"No I thought you knew him," Liz said.

"No I don't know him either.”

"Great. So people we don't know are shooting at us now. So what are we going to do Max?"

"I don't know. But I'll think of something,"

"Well good luck with that.”

"Liz, do you think it could be one of your father's men that was shooting at us?"

"Max, if it was my father he would know where we are. But my father still doesn't know,".

"Liz, come down stairs with me in case something else happens,"

"Fine. But you need to realize we need to find out who is doing this,"

"Don't worry we'll find out who it is."

Liz watched as Max stood up. They were standing face to face when Liz grabbed Max by the shirt and walked out the door. They walked down the hallway and down the stairs and into the living room and sat down. Max sat on one side of the couch and Liz sat on the other. Liz reached for the remote and started to flip through the channels on the TV until she found a movie called ”Speak” then she set the remote down as the movie started.

Midnight:

Max woke up and looked around. He saw Liz on the other side of the couch sound asleep. He stood up and walked towards the window and looked out. When he looked out he saw that it was all clear, no one was around. Max also noticed that Michael and Maria were still not home. He turned and saw Liz was still asleep, he walked over to the couch and sat down. He grabbed the remote beside him and started to flip through the channels til he found a movie called “Darklight”. He put the remote on the table and turned and saw Liz was looking at him. They looked at each other and smiled.

"Where is Michael and Maria?" Liz asked.

"I don't know. Hopefully they will be home soon. So til they get home we stay here." Max said.

"Are you going to tell Michael what happened?" Liz asked.

"Yes. Michael and Toney need to know. We need to figure out what we are going to do," Max said.

"Max what are you wanting to do?".

"I don't know. Hopefully with Michael we can come up with a plan to figure out who is trying to kill all of us," Max said.

"And if we can't figure it out what are we going to do?" Liz asked.

"We will have to wait and see what Michael and Toney think we should do" Max said.

"You know whatever is planned is better than no plan." Liz said.

"Lets wait and see what we have to do," Max said.

"Why do I have a feeling this is going to get worse before it gets better. I hope your right," Liz said.


"You hope he is right about what?" A voice said.

Max and Liz turned and saw Michael and Maria standing in the doorway looking at them.

"What is going on?" Maria asked.

"After you guys left we had some trouble," Max said.

"What kind of trouble?" Michael asked.

"A guy started to shoot at us. We don't know who he is or why he was shooting at us," Max said.

"Are you both ok? Did you shoot at him?" Maria asked.

"Yes we're fine. I shot at him twice then I got Liz in the house. We have been waiting to see if he comes back, but he hasn't. " Max said.

"Where did you guys go?" Liz asked.

"We went to the movies and dinner for alone time," Maria said.

Chapter 46

"I hope it was fun. Max can you take me to the store I need to get a few things?" Liz asked.

"Um yeah sure let me grab my keys and we can leave," Max said.

"Thanks. I better go get my purse," Liz said as he walked out of the living room.

After Liz walked out of the living room Max, Maria and Michael all turned and looked at each other.

"What is wrong with Lizzie?" Maria said.

"Maria she is just jumpy, she didn't get much sleep so she jumps at every sound," Max said.

"So how bad was it?" Michael asked.

"Let’s just say that Liz almost got seriously hurt. I'm glad she listened to me and got down but I think it scared her the most." Max said.

"It's a good thing you were here for her. Who knows what could have happened if you weren’t here," Michael said.

"yeah that’s true. But whoever is causing all of this is out for pay back or revenge. Who knows which," Max said.

"I say we need to figure out how we can protect Liz and Maria 24/7," Michael said.

"I know Maria won't have a problem with that but Liz might and even Toney might," Max said.

"I doubt Toney would even know about us protecting the girls unless we tell him," Michael said.

"Do you want to tell him?" Max said.

"No. I don't, but if he asks we will have to tell him though," Michael said.

"Yeah, that is true," Max said.

"So is Toney's party tonight or next Friday?" Maria asked.

"His party is on Friday. But I don't know if Liz will want to go after what happened," Max said.

"She will need this. It will probably help her relax," Maria said.

"Maria I don't think Liz will be in the mood. But I will go and ask her," Max said.

Max walked out of the living room and into the hallway where he saw Liz looking out the door windows. Max walked up and stood next to her.

"Are you ok?" Max asked.

"Max I wish I could figure out who that guy was that attacked us," Liz said.

"Don't worry we will figure it out," Max said.

"I hope you’re right. What is going on? Did you and Michael decide anything?" Liz asked.

"Nothing. Yeah me and Michael talked. We decided that we are going to be with you and Maria 24/7," Max said.

"That seems like a plan. What is Maria wanting?" Liz asked.

"Maria was asking if the party was tonight. I told her I didn't know if you wanted to go," Max said.

"Max is the party tonight?" Liz asked.

"I'll call Toney and find out. If it is do you still want to go?" Max asked.

"Yeah, sure I'll go. Just promise you won't leave me alone," Liz said.

"Liz I won't. Besides me, Michael and Toney will be there if anything goes wrong," Max said.

"I know. But it still nice to hear it," Liz said.

"I know," Max said.

Max reached into his pocket and pulled his cell phone out and dialed Toney's number. The phone rang 3 times before someone answered it.

"Hello?" Max asked.

"Hello. Who is this?" Toney asked.

"Oh, hey Max. What do you need?" Toney asked.

"Is the party tonight and next Friday?" Max asked.

"Yes the party is tonight and next Friday. Are you, Liz, Michael and Maria still coming?" Toney asked.

"Yeah, we’re coming. What time does it start?" Max asked.

"It’s from 9 p.m. til midnight. Right now everyone is cleaning and getting everything ready and set up .” Toney said.

"That’s good," Max said.

"Yeah, tell me about it," Toney said.

"I better let you go so you can help with everything," Max said.

"Ok. Talk to you later," Toney said before he hung up the phone.

Max closed his cell phone and turned and looked at Liz.

"Toney said there is a party tonight. Everyone is getting everything cleaned and set up right now," Max said.

"That’s good to know," Liz said.

"Yeah, the party is from 9 p.m. til midnight. So that gives all of us a few hours til we need to get ready," Max said.

"Ok," Liz said.

"Liz are you sure you want to go to the party?" Max asked.

"Yeah, Max what really happens at these parties? I want the truth no lying," Liz said.

"Ok. I'll tell you. They drink strong drinks. There are some people who do drugs and other things. The party can be a little crazy," Max said.

"Max I can handle myself. Plus I'll have you with me," Liz said.

"Yeah that is true," Max said.

Come on we better go tell Michael and Maria," Liz said.

Max and Liz walked into the living room and saw Michael and Maria kissing. They just looked at them and then looked at each other. Then they looked at Michael and Maria again.

"Um guys we need to talk to you," Max said.

Michael and Maria pulled apart and then turned and saw Liz and Max staring at them.

"What do you need?" Michael asked.

"The party is from 9pm - midnight," Max said.

"Ok. So I guess we leave here at 9:30pm," Michael said.

'That sounds like a good plan to me," Max said.

"See everything is going to be easy," Maria said.

"Yeah, lets see how crazy the party is going to be," Max said.

"Max what do you mean by that?" Maria asked.

"You will have to wait and see," Michael said.

"How bad can this party be?" Maria asked.

"Trust me you don't want to know," Max said.

"Guys we will be finding out tonight how the parties are going to be." Liz said.

"Yeah, don't remind us," Michael said.

"Michael you both said nothing is going to happen while you are with us. So we should be safe. Right?” Liz said.

"Yeah, we did tell you that. Hopefully we can all stick together," Max said.

"Liz come on we need to go and get ready," Maria said

Maria grabbed Liz by the hand and ran out of the living room and up the stairs to the hallway and went to their rooms to get ready.

Meanwhile downstairs Max and Michael walked out of the living room and went to the bathrooms to get ready. They were ready in 20 minutes. They walked out of the bathrooms and walked to the bottom of the stairs looking up. A few minutes later Liz and Maria walked out of their rooms and down the hallway. They stood at the top of the stairs looking at Max and Michael. Max and Michael noticed Liz and Maria were wearing jackets over their outfits. The girls walked down the stairs and stood in front of the guys.

"Are you ready to go?" Max asked.

"Yeah, lets go," Maria said.

Max walked to the door and opened it, he waited as Liz, Michael and Maria walked out the door and walked to the car he then shut the door and walked to the car. When he got to the car he saw Liz sitting in the back seat while Michael and Maria sat in the front seat. Max had no choice but to sit in the back seat with Liz. As he shut the car door Michael started the car and drove off.

A few minutes later They pulled up to Toney's house. As Michael parked the car they noticed there were cars in the drive way and in the yard. Max and Michael got out of the car first and then they opened the car doors for the girls. After they got out of the car Max and Michael walked the girls to the front door of the house. Michael rang the doorbell and then opened the door and walked in. Liz, Max and Maria followed Michael into the house. When they walked in they saw people dancing and making out. Max and Michael looked at each other then turned and looked at the girls.

"Here let us take your jackets," Max said.

"Ok," Maria said as he and Liz took off their jackets

Chapter 47

Max turned and saw Liz was wearing a red spaghetti strap dress that fell a few inches above her knee. with a pair of black strappy high heels. Max turned and looked at Michael in shock…Michael's mouth dropped when he saw Maria wearing a strapless hunter green dress that fell a few inches above her knees and she wore black high heels as well. Neither Max nor Michael knew what to think when they saw the girls dresses. Liz and Maria turned and saw the guys and smiled in a flirty sort of way..

"So, Um, what now?" Liz asked.

"Lets go, um, get drinks," Max said as he loosened his shirt collar.

"Cool," Maria said.

"I'm going to go and see if I can find Toney," Liz said.

"Do you want me to go with you?" Max asked, disappointed that Liz was not going

"No. I can do it alone. I'll meet you back here in a while," Liz said.

"Ok…if you’re sure," Max said

"Yeah, I’m sure," Liz said before walking away.

Liz walked out of the living room and started to walk around, she walked through the kitchen then back to the living room into the dining room and still she didn't find Toney anywhere. She finally walked up the stairs and down the hallway and turned to a room where she saw couples making out.
Then she walked to a second room and saw people were getting high and acting weird. She walked to the third room and saw people were dancing. As she continued down the hallway she heard voices. She stopped and listened to what was being said and she heard,.

"Toney when are you going to tell Liz the truth? And stop lying to yourself and everyone else?" Alice asked.

"Don't worry. I'll tell her soon. I just don't want to do it now. And I'm not lying to myself or to anyone else," Toney said.

"Toney, yes you are when you can't admit it to yourself. You need to tell Liz. She needs to know," Alice said.

"I know Liz needs to know. Just give me time to break it to her gently," Toney said.

"Fine. But I hope you tell her before someone else tells her. You know how these parties are," Alice said.

"Yeah. I know how these parties are. We have been having these parties for three years now," Toney said.

"Yeah, That is true. You do know how to throw a crazy parties," Alice said.

"Yeah, I do. We better go downstairs and see if Max, Liz, Michael and Maria are here," Toney said.

"Yeah we better," Alice said.

Liz started walking backwards until she bumped into someone, she turned and saw Max standing in front of her. They stood and looked at each other and then Max put his hand out for Liz to take, which she did, Max pulled Liz away from the door and they walked down the hallway and down the stairs. Max smiled down at Liz and she returned the gesture and then they walked into the living room only to find Maria and Michael kissing…Max watched their friends a second and then he looked at Liz again and said,

"Um, do you want something to drink?"

"Yeah, sure," Liz said.

He led Liz out of the living room and into the kitchen and then they walked up to a table where they both grabbed a can of beer. Max took Liz's beer and opened it for her. After they each had a drink they looked around the room and took it all in.

"So what do you think of the party so far?" Max asked.

"It's interesting,. I really don't know much about parties," Liz said.

"If I'm guessing right, things will start getting crazy between eleven and midnight," Max said

"What do you mean crazy?" She asked.

"Just wait and see what I mean," Max said.

"Just tell me what you mean." Liz said.

"The crazy people form upstairs will be coming down here. When they get down here that’s when people start to act and do crazy things," Max said.

"What? How bad will it be?" Liz asked.

"I say it will be between a 15 to 20. Liz don't worry I'll make sure your safe," Max said.

"Max promise?" Liz asked.

"Yes I promise," Max said.

"That is good. I don't know what would happen if you weren't around," Liz said.

"Don't worry I won't leave you alone. Liz what happened upstairs? You seem to be shocked over something," Max said.

"I don't want to talk about it ok. Just please leave it alone?".

"Ok. Sorry Liz. I was just wondering,"

"It’s not a problem. I just hope I'll forget it."

"Maybe you will. It's still early here,".

"Yeah, that’s true," Liz said.

They both smiled at each other and then Liz saw Toney and Alice walking towards them and they smiled at one another.

"So when did you get here?" Toney asked.

"We got here a few seconds ago. So where have you both been?" Max asked

"Oh, we had to have a talk about what I was going to do," Alice said.

"What do you mean?" Liz asked.

"I'm trying to decide if I should stay or leave," Alice said.

"Where would you go?" Max asked

"Oh, I would go and see my parents. And then find a place to live near them. So that way my child would know the grandparents," Alice said.

"Oh, Wow. Where do your parents live?" Toney asked.

"Oh, Um they live in Florida," Alice said.

"Wow that seems so far away. But I bet they will be glad to see you," Liz said.

"Oh, I know they will. I miss them," Alice said.

"Where are Michael and Maria?" Toney asked

"Oh they are around somewhere," Max said.

"Well hopefully we will see them." Toney said.

"Yeah, We will hopefully," Alice said.

"Toney how many people do you think showed up?" Max asked.

"All our friends showed up," Toney said.

"So Liz that is a nice dress you have on," Alice said.

"Thanks," Liz answered with a shy smile..

Liz looked around when she heard some added noise and saw people coming down the stairs. She immediately turned and looked at Max and he looked up and saw the people and then he looked at Liz and nodded his head in understanding. Toney and Alice didn't notice Max nodding his head.

"This party is, um, interesting," Liz said.

"The party will be crazy really soon though," Alice said.

"How do you know the party will be crazy? Have you been to these parties before?" Liz asked.

"Um, yes I have, with Eric," Alice said.

"Oh, were those parties as crazy as this one is starting to be?" Liz asked.

"Yes, they were crazy then as it is now," Alice said.

"Oh, this should be interesting," Liz said.

"Liz look. There is Michael and Maria. Come on, let’s go see them,".

And Max pulled Liz away from Toney and Alice and walked out of the living room and went into the hallway where Michael and Maria were standing. Max walked up to Michael and tapped him on the shoulder.

Michael and Maria both turned and saw Max and Liz standing in front of them.

"Where did all these people come from?" Michael asked.

Chapter 48

"There, from upstairs. Alice ad Toney said the party is going to be really crazy any minute now," Max said.

"Ok. That doesn't sound good," Michael said

"No it doesn't. We need to stay close to the girls just incase," Max said.

"Ok. I'll stay with Maria and you need to stay with Liz. That shouldn't be too hard to do," Michael said.

"Lets hope not," Max said.

"Liz is everything ok?" Maria asked.

"Yeah, I didn't think there would be this many people," Liz said.

"Yeah, this is true. Do you guys know any of these people?" Maria asked.

"No. We don't. But you can bet they will be here for the next party," Michael said.

"What?" Liz asked.

"This house will probably have more people by the next party," Max said.

"That's crazy. This house is already full of people. If the house gets anymore people there will probably be trouble and someone will get hurt.” Liz answered.

"Yeah, that is why Toney’s parties are crazy. You never know what is going to happen.” Michael said.

"Great. this is so going to be fun," Liz said sarcastically.

.Liz turned and saw Toney and Alice walking towards them again and Liz looked at Max.

“Max can we please go outside I need some air?" Liz asked.

"Yeah, sure. We'll see you later," Max said as he took Liz’s hand to lead her out of the house.

Max and Liz walked out of the room and they walked to the door that led to the porch. When they got outside Max took a good look at Liz. He knew something was wrong with Liz but she wouldn’t tell him what it was.

"Liz are you ok?" Max asked.

"Max I'm fine. I just wanted some air,"

"Liz you would tell me if anything was wrong right?"

"Yeah, right. I would tell you if anything was wrong.

"Good. You need to have someone to talk to you if you need to," Max said.

I added "have someone to talk to" for better flow and understanding.

"I know that. And I'm glad you’re always around,"

Then they both turned and looked at the trees.

Meanwhile, back in the house Michael and Maria now had Toney and Alice in front of them. They all smiled and looked around.

"Where are Max and Liz? I thought they were standing with you," Toney said.

"Oh, um, Liz wanted some air. It got hot in here," Maria said.

"Oh. So are you both having fun?" Toney asked.

"Yes. This party is great. I didn't know you knew all of these people," Maria said.

"I don't know all of them. Friends ask their friends to come. So that is how this place gets packed," Toney said.

I added "all of them" because Toney knows some of them.

"Oh, Is this how all your parties go?" Maria asked.

"Yes always. Are you sure Liz is ok?" Tony asked.

"Yes Liz is fine. You know it was probably the crowd that got her," Maria said.

"Yeah, sure. I'm going to check on her. You guys stay here," Toney said.

"Ok. We'll be right here," Michael said.

Michael, Maria and Alice all watched as Toney walked away from them and walked out the door. They all had an extremely uncomfortable feeling but somehow they knew they had to stay together.

Meanwhile outside:

Max and Liz looked toward the trees and up to the sky. They both felt that things could change and neither of them heard the door open nor did they hear the footsteps coming up behind them.

“What are you both doing out here?" Toney asked.

"Oh, um, I just wanted some air," Liz said as she turned in Toney’s direction..

Max just kept looking at the trees and the grass below.

"So what do you think of the party so far?" Toney asked.

"I think that it's crazy but good," Liz said.

"I'm glad you are enjoying it," Toney said.

"Yeah, it's great. Is next Friday’s party going to be this crazy?" Liz asked.

"Yes. Next Friday might be a little more crazy then this but everyone will have fun," Toney said.

"Well that’s good to know," Liz said.

"Liz can we talk for a minute?" Toney asked.

"Your talking to me," Liz said.

"Alone please?" Toney asked.

"No. Max is my friend, I want him to stay. You can say whatever you want to say in front of him," Liz said.

"Fine. Are you still mad at what I did to spike? What I said?" Toney asked.

"Toney, I don't want to talk about what you guys did to Spike. And…about what you said to me is not forgotten, and I don't want to talk about anymore," Liz said.

"Liz I think we should talk about it," Toney said.

"I don't want to talk about it so lets just drop it," Liz said.

"Fine," Toney said.

"Good," Liz said.

Max looked between Liz and Toney and he knew something was wrong but he hadn't figured it out just yet but he knew he would in time.

So... are you both having fun?" Toney asked, trying to change the subject.

."So far the party is fine. I just keep wondering what crazy things are going to happen next," Liz said.

"Oh, you never know with these people. But whatever does happen it's going to be fun," Toney said.

"Yeah, sure," Liz said.

"Max what are you looking at?" Toney asked.

"Oh, this couple that are um making out on the grass," Max said.

"What? No way," Liz said.

"Let me see," Toney said.

Toney walked up to the railing and looked down. When he looked down he saw the couple was taking off each others clothes. Liz looked at both Max and Toney with a shocked look on her face. She couldn't believe Max and Toney just standing there watching the couple. She turned and walked into the house.

When Liz walked into the house she saw a naked lady running past her. Liz just shook her head and walked further into the house and then looked in the kitchen, the dining room and found no Michael nor Maria…finally she walked into the living room and looked around and finally saw Michael and Maria talking to Alice. She started walking toward them and they turned and saw Liz, they all looked at each other and finally Maria asked,

“Liz is everything ok?"

"Yeah, everything’s fine. Oh, and by the way, Max and Toney are out on the porch watching a couple making out," Liz said.

"What!" Maria said in shock..

"Yeah, Max and Toney are watching a couple making out. I left when the couple started to take off each others clothes," Liz said.

"I can't believe they are watching them," Michael said.

"Well they are," Liz said.

"I can't believe them," Alice said in shock.

"Maria, you need to be careful around here," Liz said.

"Why? What is going on?" Maria asked.

"There are a couple of people running around here naked. So heads up," Liz said.

"Ok. Now this is really crazy," Maria said.

"Trust me. It may turn more crazy later," Alice said.

"How do you know that?" Liz asked.

“ Eric and I went to all of the parties Toney threw. About 2 to 3 hours into the party it was a lot of crazy," Alice said.

"Great. Just what we need," Maria said.

Right at that moment Toney and Max walked up to Liz, Michael, Maria and Alice. They all turned and saw Max and Toney in front of them and as they looked at each other Toney finally said,

"So what is going on?"

"Oh,, um there are a couple of people running around here naked," Liz said.

"What?!?" Max said in surprise…

"Oh cool," Toney said with a chuckle.

Liz and Maria both turned and looked at all the guys. They knew the guys were weird but this was getting to be a little too much..

"You guys are weird you know that," Maria said.

"Liz and Maria, we’re as surprised as you are that this happened," Michael said.

"Michael, you guys are, I don't know…but why are you not shocked.?" Maria asked.

"Because every party Toney has some people end up naked. So we’re always expecting it," Max said.

"So everything is ok?" Maria asked.

"Everything is alright for now," Liz said.

"That is good," Maria said.

"Yeah it is. So has everything been going ok with you guys?" Liz asked.

"Yeah, everything is going great," Toney said.

"That is good to know," Liz said.

"So...are you girls going to um, hang around at home?" Toney asked.

"Liz and I are going to be at the club. We thought it would be nice to have people from the club to pay their respects to Eric," Maria said.

"Wow that is nice. If you want I can help you," Alice said.

"No that's ok. We've got everything under control," Liz said.

"Oh, um. We might stop by and see how everything is going," Toney said.

"Well we will keep an eye out for you," Maria said.

"Good. Then maybe we all can relax today then," Toney said.

"Yeah, Maybe," Max said.

Liz and Maria turned and saw a few people were walking around naked, they turned and looked at each other then turned away. Max and Michael both noticed how the girls were suddenly acting and then they also saw a few people running around naked and both men turned away.

"What is wrong?" Toney asked.

"There are more naked people in the house," Maria said.

"What? Where?" Alice asked.

"Look behind you. There are two naked men and a naked woman," Liz said.

Toney and Alice turned and saw the naked people behind them and then Toney and Alice turned and looked at the two young couples….

"The lady has nice boobs," Toney said.

Right at that moment Liz and Maria sprayed Max and Michael with their beers. Max and Michael were surprised that Toney would say something like that and Alice just smiled and Toney was shocked that the guys got sprayed with Liz and Maria's beer.

"Oh god. Were so sorry," Liz and Maria said at the same time.

"It's fine," Max said.

"I can't believe you said that Toney," Alice said.

"Well it’s the truth," Toney said.

Max, Maria and Michael turned and looked at Liz and they all noticed Liz was getting mad. No one but Maria knew what would happen when Liz got mad.

"Toney come on we need to check on everyone," Alice said.

"Yeah, you’re right. We'll see you later," Toney said.

Liz and Maria watched as Toney and Alice left. Liz and Maria both turned and looked at each other and then at the guys.

"Do people come to this party naked?" Liz asked.

"No. Sometimes people take their clothes off here," Michael said.

"what?" Maria said.

"People either come naked or they take off their clothes here," Max said.

"I can't believe this," Maria said.

"Well this is what happens at parties like Toney’s," Max said.

"How long have you guys been coming to these parties?" Liz asked.

"Oh about 4 years now," Michael said.

"What have you guys done at these parties?" Maria asked

Right at that moment 2 naked women walked up to Max and Michael and kissed them hard on the mouth and Liz and Maria were both shocked. They stood there watching and saw that the guys were not pushing the naked ladies away so Liz and Maria walked away form them. They walked into the kitchen and grabbed another beer.

The girls couldn't believe that the guys let those naked women kiss them like that. Liz and Maria were about to go outside when a guy grabbed Liz and Liz and Maria both tried to get Liz free but it didn't work.

"Let me go," Liz yelled

"No way baby," The guy said.

Liz pulled her arm back and punched the guy as hard as she could. The guy still didn't let go so Liz turned and kneed the guy really hard. He started to fall to the ground and then he finally let go of Liz's arm. Liz and Maria both looked at each other then looked at the guy on the floor.

"God I hate it when drunk men grab me," Liz said.

"Tell me about it. So what do you think about what happened with the guys?" Maria asked

"Oh, you mean those naked girls kissing Max and Michael. I don't care what Max does. But I'm pissed off at Michael though," Liz said.

"I'm pissed off at both of them. I can't believe they would do that," Maria said.

"Maria, Max and I are not together, so he can do whatever he wants to," Liz said.

"I know that, but sometimes I just want to hit them," Maria said.

"Well I say hit them and see what they do," Liz said.

"You know I might just do that," Maria said.

"I say go for it," Liz said.

Liz and Maria turned and saw more naked people and saw people in their underwear
walking around. They both turned and looked at each other laughing.

"Come on. Lets see if we can find Michael. This party is starting to get out of control," Maria said.

"Yeah, I agree with you there," Liz said.

Liz and Maria walked out of the kitchen and started to look around for Michael and Max.. They didn’t seem them in the dining room nor the hallway but when they walked into the living room they found Max and a naked woman making out on the couch. Then they found Michael and a naked woman also making out. They both took in this scene before they walked out of the living room. They grabbed their jackets and walked out the door. They ran to Michael's car and got in the car and drove off.

When Liz and Maria got home they ran into the house and locked all the doors and windows. After the windows were closed the girls closed all the curtains in the house. Liz and Maria went to their rooms and changed clothes and stayed in there rooms.

Meanwhile at the party:

Max and Michael were looking everywhere for Liz and Maria. They couldn't find the girls anywhere and they didn't know where else they could be they were really starting to worry about them.

"Where the hell did they go?" Michael asked.

"I don't know. We checked upstairs, all around here and outside. Where else could they be?" Max asked.

"There is no where else. Come on lets get in the car and drive around. They have to be somewhere around here," Michael said.

"I hope your right," Max said.

When Max and Michael walked out the door they noticed their car was gone. They both knew that meant only one thing. Liz and Maria took the car but they didn't know where they could be. They only hoped that the girls were both safe. Michael and Max were about to walk back into the house when they bumped into Toney and Alice.

"What’s wrong?" Toney asked.

"Liz and Maria are gone. They took our car. We don't know where they could be," Max said.

"Why would they leave without telling anyone?" Alice asked.

"Who knows with Liz and Maria," Michael said.

Meanwhile at Liz and Maria's home:

Liz and Maria walked into the kitchen and changed their answer machine for the house and cell phone. After they did that they walked up the stairs and went to their rooms and went to bed.

Meanwhile back at Toney's:

Max, Michael, Toney and Alice all looked at each other and Toney said in a worried voice...

"Maybe you should call and see if they went home,"

"It's worth a try," Max said agreeing, showing his own concern. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his cell phone, dialed the number and waited. The phone rang four times and then the answering machine clicked on.

"Hello, this is Liz and Maria. Sorry we are not home right now, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. And if this is Max or Michael drop dead! We don't need you! Thank you!" Liz's voice announced.

Max heard a beep form the answering machine and spoke very clearly when it was time...

"Liz please we want to talk? Can we please talk? Please call me back when you get this? You know our numbers,"

He closed his cell phone and put it back into his pocket and then looked up and saw Michael, Alice and Toney watching him with questioning expressions on their faces.

"So what happened?" Michael asked.

"We're in trouble, they want us to stay away from them," Max said.

"Great! Just what are we going to do now?" Michael asked.

"Who knows? All I know for sure is that we are in deep trouble with the girls. And we need to fix it fast. I mean really fast," Max answered.

"You both know it won't be easy," Alice said.

"I know. But we need to try," Michael answered.

"Well good luck with that. You both know that you might want to let them cool off from whatever you did to make them mad," Toney said.

"Wait... you think we should WAIT to talk to the girls?" Michael asked.

"I think you should wait until tomorrow at least... it will give the girls a chance to cool off," Toney said.

"Ok. We'll wait til tomorrow to talk to them. Hopefully they will want to talk to us by then," Max said.

"We better go home and get some sleep," Michael said.

"Yeah we better. It's 1 a.m. already," Max said.

"See you both later," Michael said.

Max and Michael walked out of the living room and down the hall to the front door. After leaving the house they walked home. When Max and Michael got home they found Michael's car in the drive way safe and sound so they walked in the house, locked up and went to bed.

The next morning, after Liz and Maria woke up and went down the stairs, they walked into the kitchen and got themselves some coffee. While they were drinking their coffee there was a knock on the door. Maria and Liz both turned and looked at each other and then Liz stood up and walked to the door. She pulled back the curtain and saw Max and Michael looking at her. Liz just looked at them saying nothing one way or the other.

"Can we please come in?" Michael asked

"No. We don't need or want assholes like you around. So leave us alone," Liz said as she closed the curtain in their faces.

"Please let us come in and talk about last night?" Max asked.

"No. We have nothing to talk about," Liz said.

"Liz we need to talk to both of you," Michael said.

Liz opened the door and poured her very hot coffee over max's head, then she slapped Max in the face. Then she calmly walked back into the house and slammed the door shut in both mens faces... Max and Michael looked at the closed door then looked at each other and then at the closed door again. Max tried to open it but it was locked. He turned and looked at Michael while the coffee dripped from his face...

"This is going to be a long day," Max said

"I figured it would be," Michael agreed.

"I just hope the girls will listen to what we have to say," Max said.

"It may take time. But hopefully they will listen to what we have to say after they've calmed down some," Michael agreed.

"I better go home and change clothes. Let me know if they leave," Max said.

"Yeah, sure thing Max," Michael said.

Michael watched as Max walked away he knew Max was worried but he also knew everyone needed time to cool off. Michael sat down on the porch chair watching and waiting for Liz and Maria to walk out.

After a while Liz walked onto the porch and looked at Michael, they both stared at each other.

"You know we are still mad at you both for what you did," Liz said.

"Liz. Tell me what we did that got you and Maria mad at us?" Michael asked.

"What? You don't remember what you did in front of us?" Liz screamed.

"Liz, we were both very drunk. So of course we don't remember anything," Michael said.

"Fine. Do you really want to know why we are mad at you?" Liz asked.

"Yes tell us what we did," Max said as he walked up onto the porch.

Liz and Michael both turned and saw Max standing in front of them.

"Please tell us what we did?" Max asked.

"You and Michael were both standing with us when these two naked women walked up to you both. You both were kissing and making out with them in front of us. So we left and came home. That. Is. What. Happened," Liz shouted.

"Oh god! We did that?" Max said.

"Yes. You both did that. And that is why we don't want to talk to you or be around you. So stay away from us," Liz said.

"Liz we didn't mean for that to happen. Can you both please forgive us?" Michael pleaded.

"I don't know about Maria. But we both, I, need time," Liz said.

"What about us being at the club with you and Maria today?" Max asked.

"I don't want you around me and Maria for a while," Liz said.

"Liz we didn't mean for it to happen. It just happened," Michael said.

"You know, I thought you both were ok people to be around, but no, you're both assholes like the rest of the people that hurt us," Liz said.

"Liz?" Max asked.

"No Max. You're both going to have to work at getting us to trust you again and that will take some time," Liz said.

"Liz, we will get your trust back, you can count on that." Michael said.

"We will just have to wait and see about that won't we Michael?" Liz said.

"Liz will you please tell Maria I'm sorry?" Michael asked.

"Yeah, sure I'll tell her."

"Thank you."

"No problem," then Liz looked at Max turned and walked back into the house.

When she shut the door behind her Max and Michael both looked at each other then turned and looked at the door.

"I guess we follow the girls and stay out of their way," Max said.

"Yeah, That's what we're going to have to do," Michael agreed.

"Hopefully it will work or the girls will just stay mad at us ," Max said.

"Yeah, that's true. What are we going to do to get them to talk to us again?" Michael wondered out loud.

"Who knows. But we're going to have to give them time though," Max said.

"Yeah, I guess your right," Michael said.


Max and Michael turned when they heard Liz and Maria walking out of the house and head to Maria's car and get in then they drove off without even looking at them. Max and Michael got into their car and followed them to the club. They watched as Maria parked the car and then they went into the club. When Liz and Maria got into the club Liz turned and locked the door and as she locked the door she looked up and saw Max standing in front of her...they stood looking at each other.

After Liz locked the door she walked away, headed to the bar and sat next to Maria. She looked around as she sat down and then Maria stood up and walked up to the cooler, opened the cooler and grabbed two beers and handed one to Liz. They both took their time opening their beers and then they took a drink before talking to each other.

"What are we going to do about Michael and Max?" Maria asked.

"I don't know. All I know is that they shocked us at the party. I know we should be mad at them," Liz said.

"Liz are you mad at Max for making out with that naked woman?" Maria asked
