I cheated the other day and skimmed to the last few.... why can't we have a dreamer future together??? What difference could it make if gerbil wasn't queen?? even her new story of Alex's death still makes her responsible and an accessory. And Future Max said they cemented and were married... which completely contradicts the new plague Liz gave Max.
Yeah, well I really didn't care much for that whole Future Max thing. I mean they went with it for a few days, but if you go with that logic, there should be no way that Liz/Max should have gotten together. I mean what? Screw an entire race of people because they are in love?

I also think that it was a really lame plot. There were a lot of inconsistencies in the whole Roswell canon, so forgive me if I skimmed one little episode. I don't know the ins and outs of the show by heart. Don't really care to.

Plus, in the end, if you were actually 'responsible' there is no way Max would not have gone back to Antar. But, hey, you got a Dreamer ending in the 'real' show (though personally I am confounded at how that ending was the least bit satisfying, when it took everything it had been about and said 'Who cares anymore?')....

Sorry you don't like the way it is going, but I *did* happen to say it was Podster. And do forgive me if not everything made sense. To me the show never made sense once they got to Departure. They did everything to make her 'likeable' and then poof we're supposed to believe the lame intertwining of little clips and 'flashbacks' that 'showed' Tess killing Alex?

In my story I kept sort of with that SL because I didn't want to be the typical Max/Tess shipper to overlook it. Plus it made it a challenge. I think that a person can make a mistake. She was so intent on going home that she made an alliance that midway she regretted. Then trying to keep Khivar sending troops to kill Max and maybe destroy the human race, she played it out to Departure's end. Plus, in my version she didn't 'kill' Alex. She tried to help him. She had no idea how Khivar's 'mind possessing' thing that he did, would effect Alex. I think it is a very human element to the story. No. She's not perfect. And neither is Liz.

There were mistakes made along the way.

In the end, I can't abide by the logic that Liz/Max had an all encompassing love. Just never bought it. It was a relationship that I never thought really worked.

Anyways, so I hope you'll keep reading, but if you feel you can't abide by the SL I'm going by, I just want to say I appreciate the patronage of your readership and thanks for pointing that Future Max thing out. I never really even thought about it.

I guess we could call it a 'JK blonde moment'? :P

Thanks.
