"Me!" I say immediately putting my hand in the air. I then cross over to where Alex is standing and touch his bare chest. "You coming Alex? Won't you come and eat with me?" I ask.

"Don't be silly, you just said you were, come on!" I said dragging him over to the horse.

I could only look back at Kyle as she dragged me away. I put my other hand up in defeat. What was going on with Maria! What was she upto?

I look from Maria to Alex suspiciously..."Alex isn't going anywhere Maria." I said determinedly

"You go on and set up the food with Michaal." I ordered with a note of finality in my voice

"Yes, Alex and Maria, come join me, and bring the food." I said, laughing at the look on Kyle's face. "Don't worry Kyle," I whispered to him. "Alex was to busy spending time with Isabel to bother to hit on Maria."

I sat down on the bench near the fire, in hopes of drying my pants a little bit.

I looked her up and down before replying to Alex--" Nothing happened...We raced and got off the course it too us a bit to go back and find our way back over here--nothing to flaunt over, what have you guys been up to?" I asked him as I secured the horses reins, and Liz's horse as well so they wouldn't run off.

I smirk at my brother as I drag Alex over to the horse to get the picnic.

I turn towards him. "Oh come on Alex, I know you've always had a thing for me. I know you have" I said lying through my teeth to get a reaction from him. "So don't worry, I feel the same way."
I then kiss him quickly on the cheek before grabbing the picnic and heading off towards Michael.

What?
WHAT?
She knew? She knew all this damn time that I had liked her? And she didn't ever tell me? And now she decides she does?
And what about Michael?
This so doesn't make sense. I'm so confused! I make sure the horses are secure before heading towards the picnic, wishing the ground would swallow me whole.

I looked from Liz to Max to make sure neither was lying,if they were they were doing a pretty good job of it.
"Okay,if that's what happened then I believe." I siad to Liz squeezing her arm

I went up to the fire only to see Maria all over Alex once more,but I had caught on to her game by now so I ignored them and wetn over to talk to Kyle.There were some clouds gathering on the horizon which I was worried about.

"Do you see those clouds?" I asked pointing to the east " I've been watching them get bigger and darker for the past half an hour now.

"We better get things moving here fast,or we all will be soaked." I cautioned
