I woke up and saw Liz sitting there next to me...looking at me. I attempted to stretch and completely forgot about the accident and cried out in pain, "I'm so stupid..." I winced, and bit the pain back. I looked back at her, "How long have you been sitting there?" I asked her but before she could answer I quickly added. "You look so beautiful with the firelight reflectin off your geougus face, I mean it..." I smiled.
I jumped at the sound of his voice, wondering if he had heard my whispered complement. I narrowed my eyes on his face, looking for some sign that he was teasing me, but all I saw was honesty. "Uh, thank you, Max," I replied, blushing. "I haven't been here long, about 10 minutes. Do you want your food? It might get cold soon..."

"Um.. sure thank you..." I tried me best to sit up as she help me fix the pillows behind me, haned me my plate and tried to eat. Just as I scooped some food into my mouth the power shut off, with a rumble on thunder shook the household. "I guess the storm is still pretty bad--" I told her. The only light we had was from the fireplace--it filed the room with an amazing glow. I broke the silence. "Tell me about yourself Miss Parker." I smiled at her.
I glanced around nervously at the new darkness. I usually didn't like the dark, but I felt safe here with Max. Still, I didn't want to get into my life's story with him. Not when he probably didn't care in the first place. "Max, I don't think we should--" I broke off at the pleading look on his face. I sighed and sat back down. "Ok, what would you like to know?" I asked, leaning forward.

We finally reached the top. Thank god. But it was still dark, and I had Maria holding on to my waist. I grab her arms and gently turn her around, pressing my lips against hers. Feeling behind me, I move so we're against the cool wall. "I've wanted to do that since before dinner," I mumble, my face in her hair.

"Me...me too" I say before finding his lip again. Even when I'm scared in the dark, this still is amazing...unbelieveable.

"Oh....right..." I say. I realllly don't want to get up...but she's right...
I make my way to the door and close it with a little click.
I make my way back to Isabel. "There" I say before finding her lips again.

"What was that!" I say jumping out of my skin.
"It sounded like a door or something," I say as I feel with my hand against the wall for a moment before kissing Maria again. "It's probably just Alex or Isabel."

"That's better,now at least I don't have to bother about someone stumbling in here.You have my full and undivided attention." I said huskily wrapping my arms around Alex again
