I watch as Max adjusts his cloak,amused that we are playing out a childhood fantasy of wandering what it was like not to be royalty.To live life like the common man.The game was called 'The Prince and The Pauper'.
"It suits you" he says cheekily and I smirk at him

"You're cruisin' for a bruisin' Xan." I reply smoothly and check my appearance in the mirror once more,pulling the cap firmly down my over forehead.

"You know you don't have to come with me. Anyone else in the castle could come." I roll my eyes
"I know your worried about me, but really, I'm going to be ok. No one will ever know who I am dressed like this."

"Xan will you shut up.It's not like I am being forced to go along with you,I volunteered.So if I hear you asking me whether I am sure I want to do this,one more time,I will bundle you in to a sack and beat you with a stick." I tell him sarcastically

"Besides,don't think I am only doing this for you.I seek adventure and it'll be good to see anohter planet of the VATER system.Now come on,the ship must be ready for us."

I roll my eyes at him, partly in annoyance of him moaning at me, and partly because he called me Zan.

"Besides,don't think I am only doing this for you.I seek adventure and it'll be good to see anohter planet of the VATER system. Now come on, the ship must be ready for us."

I nodd knowing he's right. "Fine, fine fine" I tell him before glaring, "But how many times do I have to tell you to call me Max. You're my friend. My friends call me Max."

I but my hood up, covering my head. "Okay, let's go. You first" I tell him with a small smile.

Michael

Satiesfied that I have managed to ruffle his feathers I grin at him,"Alright Maxwell."

"Okay, let's go. You first"
With a mock salute I lead the way out of his chambers and up to the landing deck from where the ship will take off.

"Damn she's magnificent." I say in awe as I step on to the deck looking up at the huge piece of machinary that will take us to Max's intended's planet

He gives a mock salute, and I narrow my eyes at him. But he doesn't notice because he's already walking out of the room. I follow him down the corridors and up to the landing deck.

"Damn she's magnificent." he says as he gets on to the deck. I never was too fond of machines. Im much more of a nature person. I ignore his 'idolising' of the plane and get on board. "Hmm" I say as I sit down in the comfy chairs. I open my mind to the captain whos in the cockpit and he, who already had his end opened, explains our status report.

I nod and the captian gets ready to start up. I look out of the window and look down at the people below. This would be like anyother trip...except we're not in the royal jet... nor are there people cheering. It feels nice and yet disturbing at the same time.

She calls me "my love" and my heart just sings. We start walking again and I am just content to be by her side and in her presence again. I had forgotten how nice it could be. She comments on the unusual weather and I look up at the black clouds and frown. Why must something always ruin the good moments?

My attention is drawn back to Vilandra when I feel her shiver beside me due to a chilly breeze. I take off my cloak and place it around her shoulders just as a clap of thunder sounds. I take her hand in mine and flash her a grin. “My queen, I believe we should make a run for the palace before we get drenched or struck by lightening!”

Isabel

Kivar must have sen the slight shiver which ran down my body because he places his cloak around my shoulders and instantly I feel the heat from his body warm my chilled skin."Thank you." I murmur and give him a smile

The thunder nearly makes me jump out of my skin,
“My queen, I believe we should make a run for the palace before we get drenched or struck by lightening!” he says and takes my hand to lead me back in to the palace

"That's a good idea." I agree and try keeping up with his long strides but the heaves open up with a sudden downpour just before we reach the entrance

We almost make it to the entrance of the palace but miss it by a few feet before the downpour begins. I laugh a little at the absurdity of the situation and the unfairness of it and I pull Vilandra and myself inside seconds later. We're soaked to the bone. Two guards move forward immediately, unsure of what to do. I smile at Vilandra and order the guards, "I do not wish the queen to catch a cold. Have her maids prepare her a hot bath and we'll eat lunch whenever she is ready." They bow and one of them moves to follow my directions.

Brushing a wet section of her hair off of her face, I tell Vilandra, "You go and enjoy your bath, love. I will dry and change clothes and meet you in our private dining room. Take all the time you wish." I move to kiss her but am unsure if she still is open to it.

Isabel

We were drenched,soaked to the skin as we entered the palace and made our way to our chambers,"I do not wish the queen to catch a cold. Have her maids prepare her a hot bath and we'll eat lunch whenever she is ready."
If I didn't know any better I'd think he were reading my mind because that is exactly what I was thinking but he's never invaded my mind before.

"You go and enjoy your bath, love. I will dry and change clothes and meet you in our private dining room. Take all the time you wish." he tells me tenderly and leans forward slightly as though to kiss me but instead I take hold of his hand and kiss the centre of his palm "I'll be with you shortly."
I walk away quickly to my ladies-in-waiting who are already holding out a towel for me,ready to help me undress.

She laughs and tries to push me away,"Stop, Kyle that tickles." she squeals,"I know it tickles,that's why I am doing it." I reply against her neck and laugh as well "Okay I'll let you go this time." I roll over to my side of the bed and sit up.

"When do you plan on going to see your brother and Isabel again?" I ask her as I reach for my robe "There's been no news from them in ages.I wonder if everything's alright on Taggora."
