I say hastily "you're staying right here." as if to drive the point home I drape one arm of mine over his waist "I love being with you this way Alex and...you have no idea how tempted I was to throw caution to the wind a few minutes ago." I look down for second,slightly embarrassed by that confession
But quickly I make eye contact with him again.This is Alex,and I love being with him and he makes me feel comfortable,"I do want us to be intimate Alex..."

I am a bit taken aback when Isabel puts her arm around my waist and also by her little speech. But I'm also pleased - it's nice to know that she was as close to losing control as I was.
"I do want us to be intimate Alex..."
My throat tightens slightly at that but I manage to smile reassuringly at her. "But it doesn't have to happen before our first date. I get what you mean Iz." I lean over, brushing my lips over her cheek, this time not in a passionate but comforting way.
"I want to be with you too, more than you can possibly imagine but I wouldn't want you to regret anything we do so ... lets just try to sleep some, okay?"
With that, I manage to get my own arm around Isabel's body drawing her closer, kissing her forehead once more.

"Good night, sweet dreams Iz." I murmur, kissing the top of her head one last time before settling back against the pillow, feeling sleep crawling up on me. Amazing that I was so wide awake and ready for ... action just moments ago and right now, I just want to sleep for the next week with the woman in my arms.

I look over at her, impressed. "Huh! No kidding? I think that's great. Most people I know can't even write a memo or email correctly. A lot of people think that I don't know how to read." I flash her a smile at that statement, letting her know that it doesn't bother me that much. "Actually, though, I always love a good mystery novel or one of those suspense thrillers. Not the horror stuff, just suspense...like John Grisham or James Patterson. So what's the novel about? One of those sleezy romance novels?" I tease.
I pull into the parking lot of the IHOP and turn the engine off. I wait for her answer before I open the car door.

In my sexual haze I hear my father's voice, "Lizzie? Are you there? You're probably sleeping. Listen, I'm sorry to call so late...or early. I'm never sure about the time differences. Anyway, when you get this message, I need you to call me. I left an important document in my office and I need you to fax it..."
I close my eyes and grit my teeth, trying to ignore my father's voice as a naked Max lays on top of me.

Max doesn't seem phased by my father's voice but that's probably because he doesn't realize that it is my father. He keeps massaging my breast as his other hand runs through my hair and I feel so sexy right now. Until I hear the end of my father's message that is.
"So anyway, Lizzie, just call me when you can ok? I love you, princess, and I'll be home as soon as I can," his voice calls in his sappy father tone.
I groan and push Max away a minute. "I'm sorry, Max. I just need a minute. That was my father and hearing his voice kind of killed my mood." I hate to admit that but it really did. Now all I can think of is hoping that my father doesn't know everything his little "princess" does while he's away. Yes, I'm a grown woman but I know that there are still some things a father shouldn't know about his daughter.
