Just found out there's going to be a season 2! I got so excited I had to share it.

Don't have all the details but, according to Ms. Appleby's twitter account, the show will return.

Another great show I'm looking forward to watching/catching up to this summer.

The first episode of season 2 is up.

Below is a description of Season 2's focus.

It's NOT Lucy (Shiri Appleby), but Chloe (Candice Accola).

The hit web series Dating Rules From My Future Self, from the producers of Gossip Girl, returns for a second season starring The Vampire Diaries' Candice Accola as fun-loving Chloe Cunningham. Love? There's an app for that—and Chloe has it.

There are some changes - a new cast, a new main character, and
even though Shiri did NOT make an appearance in this ep she is
very much involved behind-the-scenes, and I'm pretty sure she will
appear in future eps. Even though I was a bit thrown off by the
changes, I'm still going to stick around and support the show.

(For now, at least.)

Not gonna lie though... NOT really happy with the first ep.

I'm NOT jumping up and down in anticipation of the next one.


I liked the characters from season 1, and I really hope they
did NOT decide to completely do away with the cast.


Anyhoo... time to stop being a critic. Here it is.

Did anyone catch Shiri on the season finale of "Franklin & Bash" last night? I saw it! It seems she may have guest starred on that show a few times during the season but this was the only episode I watched. Anyway, she was great, as you'd expect.
And, as I was watching the show and thinking about how beautiful Shiri is, it occured to me: Shiri is the age NOW that FLiz would have been when she sent FMax back in time!
I think that someone needs to make a banner of our Roswellians as they look now. If I knew how to do it, I totally would! (if anyone does this, please pm me!)

Okay, so it's true, and official, Shiri is engaged to Jon shook.

I had seen a photo of her, somewhere, with a ring on her left hand
a few weeks ago, and had assumed she was engaged, but I did NOT
come across anything concrete enough that proved she really was.

(Didn't want to post something and have it be just a rumour I started .)


But it's NOT a rumour, it's the real deal,
Ms. Appleby will be a Mrs.

Shiri Appleby tells Us Weekly she was in shock when her chef beau of two years, Jon, 31, proposed during their July trip to Ventotene, Italy.

"One second you're having lunch, the next you have a ring on your finger!" says the actress, 33, who will have an arc on HBO's Girls. Appleby's 2.5-carat engagement ring was designed by Itay Malkin.

"It happened so fast, she made Shook do it twice! "I was like, 'I want to slow this moment down.'"

But his mom wants a race to the altar. "We called and she said, 'Mazel tov! When's the date?' We said, 'We got engaged 30 seconds ago!'"

Shook is the owner of L.A.'s Animal. "When I am cooking at home, I have a couple rules. Keep it fast and not a lot of dishes," Shook tells Us. "I knew Shiri was a keeper because the first time we cooked together she washed the dishes."

I've never seen the show "Franklin & Bash."


If I had cable I would watch the eps, just to see Shiri's performance.
I'd have to get the episode titles and look it up on-line to watch.

It didn't occur to me that Shiri is at the age FLiz would have been.
That's kind of cool. There are some talented people on this board.
It would be interesting to see what some people come up with .


I'm watching season 2 of Dating Rules.

In fact, I just watched three of the latest eps, back-to-back.


Shiri isn't in any of the first four eps, but I smile whenever
I see her name appear in the ending credits -

Anyhoo, you guys, the eps are actually NOT bad.
They don't compare to season 1, but they seem
to be improving. To me, at least.

As much as I'd love to see Shiri in front of the camera, she's there,
and she's involved. And I actually laughed out loud a couple of times
with the last three episodes. Especially the yoga one.

Thanks for the links. I'm glad Shiri has a producing job......but I liked the series better when Shiri was in it.
