I'm feeling kind of nervous having Michael's intense gaze on me, again I'm starting to feel like an awkard 15 year old girl who has goose bumps. "Thanks, I think?" I respond when he tells me that I have a lot of spunk because that's really nice of him to say and I have heard it before. Some people think my spunk is a bad quality, like a certain ex of mine but then again he only ever wanted me to be this arm candy who had no mind or opinions of her own, but screw that!
"You really look great. You know that?" He tells me, "That suit is a great color for you."
So maybe Lilly was right when she forced me to buy it, maybe I did look great in it but it was starting to feel a little hot in the car, I thought while fanning myself off, I really hope he can't see that I'm flushed. "Thanks, that's really sweet of you." I say flashing him a smile.

“If I told you, you’d just be jealous of him and what good would that do you?” I decide to tease him back.
“Me? Jealous of some fantasy guy? Never.” Kyle replies, making that scoffing noise and tossing his head up momentarily.
“So who is it?” Max says softly from the driver’s seat. Now we’re just sitting in the parked Jeep in front of the Blockbuster.
“Oh so you wanna know too, eh? Well I’ll tell you mine if you both tell me yours. Take it or leave it.” See, what are friends for, if not to subject them to the same games they play with you.

"All the girls I ever dreamed of or the last one?" I ask, wanting to make sure that I don't tell too much too soon.
"Uh." Tess seems a bit thrown off by that question. So does Max. "The last one should be enough, I guess."
"Okay." I think for a few seconds. "I don't remember her name, but since it was only a dream, that is not so bad, I think. It's that chick from "24" - Jack Bauer's daughter."
"Elisha Cuthbert?" Max asks.
"Yeah, that could be her." I reply. "I'm not sure but she is really good looking." I tell Max and then turn to Tess. "Well, I told you mine, now you tell me yours!"

“Okay. My fantasy dream guy is Alec, from ‘Dark Angel’, played by Jensen Ackles. Only the hottest and wittiest transgenic ever,” I say with a grin.
“Trans-whatty?” Kyle asks, perplexed.
“Transgenic. Genetically engineered soldiers with super strength and feline reflexes and other supernatural gifts. It was set almost 20 years in the future in Seattle.” Max answers before I even have a chance to open my mouth. I look at him in amazement.
“What?” he asks when he sees me looking at him. “I used to watch the show a lot. I liked seeing Jessica Alba racing around town on her motorcycle kickin’ butt.” He answers with a small flush running up his cheeks.
I smile at him and say how cool it is that he watched it too.
“Well I guess we know who Max dreams about, then,” Kyle says, chuckling at Max, whose flush deepens a little bit.
I look at my watch. “Alright, let’s get this show on the road, shall we? We need to pick our movies and get on home before they wonder what happened to us and come looking.” We get out of the Jeep and head into the store, Max holding the door open for me; always such a gentleman.

Tess seems to like it that Evans opened the door for her. Looks like being a gentleman still counts even though women never get tired of saying that it's the 21st century and that they are independent. But when do they ever open the doors for us guys, huh?
"So, X-Men 2 and French Kiss. Should we get anything else? Something funny maybe? Like the first part of Scary Movie or Ice Age?" I love those two movies - you can laugh the whole time and not have to think too much.

I smile because there's lots of clubs and resturants and just off the wall stuff to do here. I love my home city because there's just always something fun and interesting to do. There's never a boring day that goes by if you know the right people and of course I do. I miss Lilly we used to go out to the movies all the time and to the clubs and just go places and hang out. I feel like such a kid right now with my goosebumps and Michael sitting next to me making me feel kind of weird.

I smile because there's lots of clubs and resturants and just off the wall stuff to do here. I love my home city because there's just always something fun and interesting to do. Great. We're here, I think as Maria pulls into the drive and heads for the side where she likes to park this precious heap of junk. But then I realise this means we'll be getting out of the car and I was actually enjoying sitting here with her.
"Nice," I tell her. "Thanks for the lift." I get out and look around, wondering where the others are. Even Alex and Isabel aren't here with Liz and they must have left fifteen minutes before us. "Where is everyone?" I wonder alloud.

“Oooh I’ve always wanted to see Ice Age, but never got the chance. I only saw a few minutes of it once.” I immediately reply. “It looked so funny and that squirrel was so cute, and so clueless.” I grin back at Kyle because he’s grinning at me. Looks like he really likes that movie too.
“Great! So Evans, have any objections to that?” Kyle asks Max without actually looking at him. He’s still looking at me. I turn to see what Max has to say. I wonder if he likes slapstick humor too. I’m glad Kyle does, because it’s so nice to have someone who appreciates that kind of humor with you. Makes watching comedies more enjoyable.
