I don't understand that nobody thought about Liz living with her stedpdad, after her mother died because he had no right on Liz, even if he was married with Liz's mother, he wasn't the father, no?

Poor Liz.......I understand her fear that no one will really want her when they find out the truth.
I'm glad she is talking to someone about this......and it really helps that this person had a similar situation in the past.
One of these days maybe she and Max will become good enough friends that she can share with him.

It must've been horrible for Liz when Sean came up behind her like that. Not just because of how he acted, but because he was being so physical and standing so close. Liz already has large difficulties being close to people - even people she actually likes - so that in itself must've hurt/traumatized her. Good thing that Max was around, though. And he handled the situation perfectly

Liz's stepdad was a horrible man. Not that I didn't see that from the start, but to hear Liz explain it to the therapist - how he made Liz give him a hand job. That's horrible for a young girl. The horror that Liz must've lived through every day since that stepfather started taking advantage of her.

I did like, though, that Liz thought of Max when the therapist asked if Liz had thought about having a family of her own. Warmed my heart. There's a lot of potential there

Eve No Richard is NOT Liz's father. Not don't forget when Mr. Harding didn't care if Liz was safe or not! Not like Diane.

Carolyn Liz, has a lot of fears right now. Oh I got a feeling that Max is going to become very close to Liz at some point.

max and liz believer Jo, Liz really was scared of Sean when he came into her personal space. Not just for what he was trying to do, but because she didn't like him in the first place. Liz's stepfather really is a monster! Max is slowly working his way into Liz's heart. He is just the kind of guy that she can see herself having a life with.



Part 17

Kimberly Peters read the news paper article for the third time. She felt tears fall down her face. If only she hadn't been so scared seven years ago. Maybe then that sweet girl she had once baby sat for wouldn't be going through this. It didn't name Liz Parker, but anyone who knew who Richard Carter was knew who his stepdaughter was. Liz had been eight when she last saw her. After Richard had taken her home the last time she had ever babysat for Liz, she had left Roswell. But knew that she had to go back. She was no longer the scared fifteen year old girl. But a twenty two year old mother to a beautiful six and half year old girl.

"Mommy are you ok?"
"Yes Beth I am."
"You have been crying."
"It's just I just found out that this sweet little girl, I knew before you were born was hurt by someone who should have been taking care of her."
"Is she ok?"
"I don't know. But I want to find out."
"Do I get to go with you?"
"Sure do honey. So why don't we go pack and we can go to Roswell tomorrow."
"OK mommy."

I am so sorry Liz! I was wrong just to run away with out saying anything. But I never thought that monster would hurt you. You were like his kid!

Kimberly took her daughter to her room and began to pack a bag for a week stay. Though the truth was she didn't even know if Liz was still in Roswell. She could have been moved anywhere. Her only hope was that Liz's friends or their parents knew where to find her.

Once they arrived home Liz headed for her room to start her homework. Sarah looked at Serena who had started dinner for them.

"Is Liz OK mom?" Asked Serena
"I don't know for sure."
"She had her appointment right?"
"Yes. I ithink it really is starting to get to her what happened."
"So we should be prepared for nightmares?"
"I would be."

Serena nodded. Her mom took over dinner and Serena headed for Liz's room. She knocked on the door that Liz had left ajar. She pushed it open the door and found her friend laying on the bed crying. She walked over to Liz and placed a hand on her back. Liz turned to look at her tears falling down her face.

"Rena do you think any guy will ever love me?" Asked Liz
"Yes. Liz, a real man would never hurt you like Dick did."
"You always have called Richard that."
"Yeah well he is a dick! Liz, you will find someone who will show you what it's like to love. Someone who's only wish in life is to make you happy. Max is turning into a very good friend to you. He has made you smile. I mean a real smile. That is something I haven't seen you do in a long time."
"He is a sweet guy."
"Liz do you feel something for him?"
"I don't know."
"He knows what happened to right?"
"Yes."
"Does he treat you different because of that?"
"Not really."
"Not at all! He understands that you don't like being touched. So he doesn't, but I see the look in his eyes. He wants nothing more then to take you in his arms and hug away all this pain you are feeling."
"Rena, I am so scared to let him close!"
"Liz, one thing I have learned about Max is he is willing to wait until you are ready."
"How do you know?"
"That bitch Tess Harding asked him out and he told her no that she wasn't his type."
"Her dad was my case worker before Mrs. Evans."
"Really? I wouldn't put it past her to have said something to him to keep you with Dick."
"I never thought about it. But then again she is always hanging around Sean."
"Sean who wants to get in your pants. Liz, I really think you need to be careful."
"He already tried today. Max showed up and saved me."
"I told you Max is one of the good ones!"
"Yeah he is."
"Come on let's go grab some dinner before Alex eats everything."
"Good idea."

The two girls got up and headed for the kitchen.

Great Chapter!!!! Please please please please please please please please please please come back and post more really really really really soon? I can't wait to read what will happen next for Max, Liz and friends. DEATH TO SEAN AND TESS!!!!!!!! I hate them both right now. I'm glad Liz's old babysitter Kim is going to see Liz. Hopefully Kim will be there for Liz like Max, Isabel, Alex, Serena, Maria and Sara are. I can't believe that mega bitch Tess asked Max out. I'm glad Max told her no. I really hate Tess. I'm glad Liz and Serena talked. Serena and Liz are like sisters now. I hope Max, Isabel, Alex, Serena, Maria, Sara, Diane will be there for Liz when she needs someone. And I hope Max, Isabel, Alex, Serena, Maria will be able to protect Liz from Sean, Tess and Mr. Harding.

Maria looked over when she heard the bell over the door to the Crashdown ring as someone came in. She saw a young woman come in with a little girl. They made their way over to a booth and sat down. Maria went over to get their drink order.

"Welcome to the Crashdown. I'm Maria."

The woman looked at Maria and smiled.

"Hi Maria, my daughter is going to have the kid's space nuggets meal with chocolate milk."
"OK and for you?"
"I will have a Will Smith with orbit rings and a coke. Can I get ranch for the orbit rings?"
"Sure."
"Thanks. Oh and Maria, it's nice to see you again."

That was when Maria really looked at the woman.

"Kimberly?"
"Yeah."
"I'll put your order in. Uh why are you here?"
"I need to talk to Liz."
"That will be up to Ms. Kent. I will let her know you are here."
"Thanks Maria."

Maria put in the order then went into the back to get her boss.

"Is everything OK out front Maria?" Asked Sarah
"Well Kimberly Peters is out there asking about Liz."
"As in the girl who babysat you girls until seven years ago?"
"Yeah. I think I know why she quit and left town."
"She tell you?"
"No but she has like a six year old that she said is her daughter."
"I'll be out soon."
"OK."

Maria headed back out fixed the drinks and took them to Kimberly's table.

"I forgot. Does she need any sauce for the nuggets?"
"No she only likes ketchup."
"Ok."

Maria heard the bell go off and went to pick up the order.

"Whose the chick with the kid?" Asked Michael Guerin
"She use to baby sit Liz, Serena and me. She left town after babysitting Liz one night. No one knew why. But I get the feeling we are about to find out."
"I hope that bastard burns in hell for how he treated Liz."
"Finally something we agree on Spaceboy."

Maria grabbed the food and took it over to Kimberly.

Sarah Kent came out of the back and looked at the young woman and her daughter. The little girl looked just like her mother with long blond hair and bright blue eyes. She walked over to the table taking a deep breath.

"Kimberly?"
"Ms. Kent hi."
"Hi. Now what can I do for you?"
"Maria told me you might be able to tell me how to find Liz Parker."
"I can. But why should I?"
"I feel like it's my fault what happened to her."
"How would it be your fault?"
"I would rather not talk about this in front of my daughter."
"Ok. Will you let Maria watch her over at the counter? Maybe she could have some ice cream?"
"Yes. Only a small scope."

Maria took the little girl over to the counter and got her the ice cream.

"Now what were you talking about?"
"If I thought he would hurt Liz, I would have said something. That night Mr. Carter took me home after I babysat Liz he raped me in the car."

Sarah did the math and realized who the father of that beautiful little girl was.
