I thought Isabel was just suggesting that he take a cookie from the plate, but he takes a taste from her hand. Very sexy.

I glance over at Kyle, wondering for just a second why he directed the question at me, rather than Maria or Tess, as they're both here, too. But then I decide not to over-analyze but just take it as it comes. After all, we're all just waiting for the other girls and Alex to come down so we can finish the cookies and start the movies.
"Well, it's still pretty exciting, so far," I venture, as Tess snuggles under my arm. "We have our topics picked out but it isn't completely scripted. And well, we're still getting a hang of the equipment so that can keep things interesting."
A grin starts across my face as I remember what happened at the beginning of our shift today. "Today we needed to do a particular promo spot but we couldn't find the tape. I - ugh." I finish as I get a solid elbow in my ribs.
"I don't think you need to give away all our secrets," Tess says sweetly.
"Okay," I agree, smiling at her. "Let's just say, right now, it's far from boring."

Then feigning a look of dismay I ask. "Do you mean you guys aren't listening to our broadcasts? I'm shocked. We thought you'd be our biggest fans!"
"Maybe some of us have real work to do," Michael grumbles. "I got MP3s of what I like on my I-Pod. Don't need you." Then, as 'though realising his mistake, he straightens up a little eyeing the girls suggestively. "Although I might be tempted to listen if it was just the two of them."

There's an uneasy silence after Michael's more than unfriendly remark and the girls seem not amused and ready to retort something mean. Better try to prevent a bad situation - even though there will be a fight between the two guys, I'm sure of it.
"No," I quickly tell Max, "my boss prefers country or latin music so we are kinda forced to hear that. I'd rather hear you three but unless one of the big bosses of the radio comes visiting which I doubt happens often then I'm stuck with country and latin."

I look at Kyle, wondering if this is the same guy who was oogling the pornography in the car and snidely insisting that it had to be mine. Now he seems to be a calming influence. Much more like the guy I thought he was when we first met. Of course, then I thought he and Liz were going to be getting together, if she didn't end up with Alex...
I push those thoughts aside and give a smile, ignoring Michael. "I guess you could do worse than country and latin. I guess it's just as well that you're missing us. We're still a bit rough around the edges, sometimes," I admit although I think we have moments of really great chemistry on the air, too. It's really shaping up to be a great job.
"We're not that bad," Tess smiles. "I think we're doing a great job."
"Well, you two are great! And I think I am getting a lot better. And it's a lot of fun with you and Maria around. I think you're both natural talents." I say. As a teacher, I'm used to 'presenting' in front of a class, but I don't think I could do it without some sort of feedback. Having the girls there is really what makes it work, as far as I'm concerned.
Turning to Kyle, I ask. "Besides the music, how are you enjoying your work at the station?"

Kyle and Max are playing nice talking about their jobs at the station with some friendly comments from Tess and Maria thrown in. I'm not really into this. If Maria had come to sit next to me, maybe that'd be different, but she didn't so I'm just sittin' here getting bored stupid.
I grab a handful of popcorn and then sit back, puttin' my feet up on the low coffee table. I toss a couple kernals in the air and try to catch them in my mouth. Three tries before I get one. The others bounce off my shirt and the couch, scattering around the carpet.
"As long as we're waitin' to start the movie, mind if I check out ESPN? Get my scores?" I ask, reaching for the remote.

Alex smiles nervously at me as he takes a bite of the cookie. I wonder what he is thinking about. Do I make him nervous? God, don’t say that there is another guy in this house who is afraid of me. But then again he didn’t seem scared of me a minute ago, maybe he is worried that I’ll tell Liz about his stripping secret.
“Delicious Liz, I think you have to show me how to make cookies since you are obviously a pro at it.” Alex states.
“I think I’m going to have my shower now,” I say, suddenly remember that that is the reason I came upstairs in the first place. Man, Alex is just so damn distracting.

Oh no! I scared Isabel off with that move. I'm so stupid - that was way too racy. Damn Damn Damn!
"Isabel," Liz calls after the other girl. "The others got some movies for us to watch and are all downstairs. You are coming after the shower, aren't you?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Maybe you should leave the cookies here, otherwise, you two might not have any left when the night is over." I tell Liz before we leave. WeI make our way downstairs after the cookies are safely placed on a chair and Liz asks, "So, what did I miss?"
"We were only talking." I answer nonchalantly. Of course I was too forward, after all she still called me dumbass hours ago and meant it.
"Talking? Well, it didn't look as if it were some serious talk." Liz presses with a grin.
"I guess it was a mix of talking and bantering between friends." I tell her with a grin of my own. I really hope Isabel won't tell anyone of my stripper experience because I angered her with the cookie eating.
"After you." I say as I let Liz pass into the living room first.
