"That would be great! I had algebra this morning and I have this horrible homework for tomorrow and Im done for if I don't get it in....what about if I meet you at the crashdown like 6:30 ish and you can help me with my algebra and then I can drive us over to the party?"

"That sounds cool! Are you going to sixth? I mean...The teachers always pair us together...If we get picked...to be together--we'll then I'll cover for you if you want." I smiled at him. "Oh..I almost forgott...Thanks again for what happened--at lunch today..I mean my arm is still hurts--but hey...I'm not crying or anything..I guess that was the last thing I suspected." I told him..I tried to smile.

We had arrived at the class
"Nah, Ill come. Sixth is all right. Besides I know if I get confused you'll help me right? And Liz, you don't have to thank me. Anyone would ahve done the same. Im just glad you're ok. Well, I can see your itching to go in, so I'll leave you to it. See you sixth." I said walking away.
Man! I can't believe it! I asked her out AND I managed to walk away from her rather than the other way around.
Today was crazy!

Liz:

"Max..wait.." I ran after him.. "Your a real sweet guy." I put my hand on his chest and kissed him on the cheek. "I'll see you.." I smiled at him..and ran into the classroom. Once I entered.. A voice came after me... "YOUR LATE!" the teacher announced to the class. "Yeah..I know that Ma'm..I got lost--it wont happen again..." I explained to her. The class went on as normal.

I had done so well...walking away....and then...she kissed me....on the cheek but still! Does she know Im going into melt down right now!
I slowly make my way to the bleachers and sit for the whole of next period thinkin.
She called me sweet!
Does she forgive me? For what I did? I wouldnt!
Oh my god
And now I have to sit next to her again.
Oh my god.
I walk to sixth period, dreading and looking forward to siting next to her.

Liz:

As we walked into the room for English lit. There was a huge sitting chart on the chalk board..and sure enough...I was to sit next to Mr. Celbrity himself.. Mr. Evans. I sat down at the desk..and took out the ridculously large book that they made us have. When Max came into the room--I told him..."Hey..suprise..suprise..we are seated togther..." I lauged as he sat down next to me..."I think the teachers wants us to sit together...or did you bribe them to it?" I tried to ask with a straight face but my laughter got the best of me.

I entered the class and we were sittingnext to each other. No surprises there. My cheek still felt tingly where she kissed me.
No, I hadn't bribed them.....but that sure was a great idea!
"Yeah, I guess they want you to try and control me, the jock football player with the big ego and rep whos doing badly at school. Im guessing they want you to show me the error of my ways. So Liz do you think you can take on this challenege?" I joked.

"I'm gamed if you are" I told him scarcasticly. "do you have practice today after school?" I asked him unsure of his scheduling. Just then the teacher was eager to get the class started. Suddenly a voice started to call out, "Students, my name is Mr. Jackson--I am here to teach you the amazing world of English. The seats that you are sitting in will be your pernament seats for the reamainer of the year. If you do not like the person you are sitting next to--well tough...you seniors are one step closer to reality...Get used to it! Okay..open your text books to chapter one...and start reading indiviually." Right away I opened the textbook--and started to read. With each page I turned...I could feel Max eyes on me. I turned to him.."You do know your suppose to reading..." I told him as I smiled.

I can't help but look at Liz as she opens her book. Every movement she makes looks perfect and calculated.

Shoot! She's seen me!
"Er, yeah right" I said looking at my book and quickly turning pages. But after every sentence I "read" I looked at Liz. Just to see her. To check she was still there.

It wasn't before long that the day was over..the bell rang..."So, I'll see at..6:30 right? Oh..and don't forget your books--K--I'll see you.." I finished packing my books and walked to my locker.
