I smile, delighted with her response. "Well, if we're both done eating..." I glance at the window and smile. "Look, the rain has stopped. Let's go riding. We can go through the village and see if there's anything you want at any of the stands. I want to buy you something...a present. I haven't bought you anything in a long time.
I stand and pull her into my arms. Honestly, I'd very much rather spend the time in bed with her but I know that now is not the time. I still have much mending to do in our relationship and I know how she used to love our times spent riding around the palace grounds and through the village.
I smile, delighted with her response. "Well, if we're both done eating..." I glance at the window and smile. "Look, the rain has stopped. Let's go riding. We can go through the village and see if there's anything you want at any of the stands. I want to buy you something...a present. I haven't bought you anything in a long time.

I'm a bit surprised by Elizabeth's outburst. Sure, I think like her - who the hell does he think he is, making it appear as if we can't protect ourselves but Liz has never been one to start shouting so this is slightly surprising.
"Liz, I'm sure he doesn't think bad of us." I say, trying to reassure but not really believing my words myself. "He might just want to make sure that no one harms you - no one who might have a grudge against him which we don't know about. Right father?"
I ask with raised eyebrows.

Unhesitatingly he pulls me in to his arms as I smile happily,"That will be lovely." I reach up and place a chaste kiss against his lips before pulling back "Let's go." Together we walk out of the palace and to where Kivar's prized stallions are kept.Thunderbolt,his favourite is already outside the stable,being brushed by the stable boy.

Max goes and sits down in one of the chairs over looking the bridge.So I head down there to where the captain is.Peering over his shoulder at the controls I ask,"How long till we reach Eurolgan Captain?"
"Since this ship is built for speed your highness it should not take more than fourty eight hours. he replies confidently
"Good...I don't fancy being locked up in this tin can." I joke with him and head on back over to Max "Captain says we should be there by the day after tomorrow."
"All personnel prepare for take off...all personnel prepare for take off." the captain's voice booms over the intercom and immediately all the ships crew rush to their respective positions
I go and sit in my seat and fasten my seatbelt just to be on the safe side.
Looking across at Max I decide to ask him his thoughts about this little secret mission,"You nervous Maxwell?What do you think she'll be like?You have met her brother once if I remember correctly."

She comes and sits by my side,resting against me and I drape my arm over her shoulder and old her close,kiss her head,"I'm sure everything is okay sweetie.That brother of yours is a shrewd politician and a very smart man,he's not going to let anything happen to Taggora in a hurry."
Although I don't really like my brother-in-law a whole lot...I find him rather like a snake in the grass...I have to admit,howveer grudgingly that he is extremely clever and one of the ablest kings I have ever seen.He holds the reigns of his kingdom in a vice like grip.Whoever is brave enough to go up against him should think twice before striking.
"And anyway,with our ships you can get there in just under a day.That's why you married me...didn't you?So that you could fly home whenever you wanted to without a thought.Valentia is the planet closet to Taggora in our planetary system." I joke trying to lighten the mood

When Red Lips is brought over to me Kivar's quick to offer his assistance,"Would you like some help up, my love?"
I shake my head slightly,"No thank you,I can manage on my own." I say with a grin and hike my dress up a bit and hoist myself up on to her back
"Let's just trot,we had lunch only a little while ago.I don't want us throwing up our lunch by the side of the road by riding like maniacs." I say sensibly but laugh as I recall a couple of races we'd had against each other the previous year
"Do you remember the time I beat you hollow on that race back from the river?" I ask him as we trot side by side down the road

Occ: LOL! I actually met a horse named Red Lips once and I thought it was so funny. So I stole it essentially. LOL!

We're trotting down the road toward the village when she brings up a race we had once. I smile. "You know I let you win don't you?" I tease. "Yes, I remember it. I was so sick after racing around in that horrible heat, it must have been 1000 degrees outside." I shake my head at the memory.
I look up at the clear pink sky. "It sure is a nice day today, though. That rain helped settle the dust and the air smells cleaner."
