Alex
After a second, which I used to look around the place some more, the woman comes back, telling me that Ms. Evans would meet me. So far so good, I didn't get kicked out and I have a feeling that I just might met Max Evans soon.
After asking if I can leave my bag here in the hall (I can) I take a deep breat and walk where I've been told to. Three things stuck me when I first see Max Evans' sister:
1) She is simply stunning.
2) She's wearing a bikini that must be illegal in at least 20 countries on this planet.
3) She does not look happy.
Well, I guess she was already visited and stared at by many humans - men and women even though I'm sure the men really enjoyed the view.
Keeping my eyes on her face (gorgeous eyes!) I smile openly at her and offer her my hand for a handshake. "Hello, Ms. Evans. I'm sorry that I'm bothering you. My name is Alex Whitman, I'm one of Liz Parker's friends."

A rather tall lean framed man comes out from the house,looking a little stunned for a moment when he sees me but he snaps out of it quickly and focusses his attention on my face which is a thankful change,Usually Human males just can't help but stare for prolonged periods of time...not that Antarian males are much better.
But I suppose he wasn't expecting a princess to be clad in a bikini the first time he set eyes on her.Crossing my arms in front of my chest I wait for him to speak,"Hello, Ms. Evans. I'm sorry that I'm bothering you. My name is Alex Whitman, I'm one of Liz Parker's friends."
Liz Parker...he must mean Elizabeth Parker.I narrow my eyes at him,"And what am I supposed to do with that information?"

I clear my throat and say, "I'm sorry for embarrassing you...and myself with my questions. I just can't seem to help myself." I laugh nervously a little. "Max, how...how exactly would this work? I mean, hypothetically, let's say we did decide to get married. Where would we live? What kind of life would it be? I'm not exactly one who's used to the spotlight."
I really wish he would open up and talk to me. I know we're both nervous but I feel like I've been the one asking all the questions and I don't want him to think I'm just nosy. I wish I knew what he thought about me. I look down at his hands, folded somewhat nervously in his lap and I think what nice hands he has. I wonder if we would have the chemistry to stay married. I would hate to agree to this and then end up miserable for the rest of our lives.

So much for friendliness. Royals, I suppose! Or maybe I wasn't clear enough about what I want. That will probably be it.
"One of my friends called me a few hours ago, telling me that Liz is going to marry your brother and my friend was ..." hysterical? shocked? mystified? horrified? outraged? "... was a bit surprised by the and wanted me to come back home to talk with Liz about the whole thing."
"Now, I'm sure your brother is a great man and king and all that but ... Liz is like a sister to me, I would really like to get to know her possible future husband."
I smile at the woman opposite me, wondering if she'll ever put some clothes on again or if I should just offer my jacket. No, I guess it isn't fitting enough for a ... princess, I suppose.
There is silence after my speech and I put my hands into my jeans pockets so I won't start running them through my hair or something similar.
"Well, do you know if I could meet your brother, Miss Evans?" I tilt my head slightly as I look at her, "Or is it 'Your Highness'? I'm sorry, I've never met royality so I'm not so sure about the formal stuff."
"And what am I supposed to do with that information?"

"Marrying a total stranger...that too from a different species.If my father were alive non of this would have happened." I know I must sound hysterical and crazy right now so I must calm down "May be you can talk some sense in to your doctor friend?"

I nod as I take all the information in. Liz isn't the type to marry because of looks - not if Max is dumb or something which I really doubt he is.
"Liz is stubborn, Isabel." I say with a sigh, as I run a hand through my hair, feeling a bit weird, sitting here and talking with an alien. A 'cool-holy shit this is awesome' kind of weird. "Very stubborn actually."
"Besides ... maybe they like each other, even fall in love, so it wouldn't be fair to not have them together just because they are different species. There are after all people who say that men and women are totally different species too."
"Don't get me wrong, if they don't feel anything for each other, or have totally different personalities, it would be crazy for them to marry, no matter what reason but ... just think of the possibilities. I mean, I don't know how much you know about humans but ..."
How do I say this best? Just straight forward, I guess.
" ... we humans are ... well, ... really stupid." I think about my words for a moment before nodding, "Yes, stupid is a good describtion. We love to fight, destroy and lots of other crazy stuff. Some *bright* people in powerful positions might feel threatened by you Antarians and want to start a war. That would be bad for both species but with this ... alliance formed, it might help both parties to get to know each other better and all the things we could learn from each other."
My eyes light up at the possibilities, maybe ... no surely, the Antarians can help with regenerating the planet so all we've taken from it for centuries without a care can be undone a bit.

Occ: Just a note that I'm posting on all of the RPG's that I'm participating in. My life has gotten a little busy lately and I'm not going to be able to post as often as I have been. This doesn't mean I won't be around, it just means that I will probably only be able to post once a day on average per RP. On my days off of work, I might be ablet to post more but I can't guarantee that. Once in a while, it might even be only a post every other day but more likely once a day. I'm sorry if this is inconvenient or disappointing. I'm one of those rare birds that were posting two and three times everyday per RP and I just don't have that kind of time anymore, especially for all the RPG's I'm in. Thanks for your understanding!
