Liz took a deep breath and looked right into Max's amber eyes. It didn't take long for their breathing to even out and become matched. It didn't take long for the connection to form. Then the memories started to fly through each of their minds.

Liz holding a young Serena as she cried.
Max attending his first formal dinner.
Liz looking at Lord Trayer knowing even before her father said anything that she had to go with him.
Max talking to his mother about something.
Liz bearly holding it together as Kivar touched her.
Max walking through the market and seeing Liz for the first time.
Liz looking at him and knowing he wouldn't hurt her.
Max fighting the urge to grab her and throw her down on a bed to have his way with her.
Both could everything the other felt during each of the memories that flew through them. Max broke the connection, but could still feel a part of Liz in the back of his mind. He looked into Liz's eyes and could tell that she could still feel him as well.
"You OK Liz?" Asked Max
"Yeah."
"Ok that's good."
"Max, is something wrong?"
"I feel like I forced you into this."
"You didn't."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. Max, I love you. I am happier than I have ever been in my life."
"Love you Liz."
Max pulled her into his arms and gave her a very passionate kiss.

The blond blue eyed maid watched from her hiding place. This wasn't good. Lord Kivar was not going to be happy about this. Not only will that poor half breed be stronger now so will the prince. But she knew that Kivar would still come out on top. When he finally took down the royals she would stand at his side. He promised her that he would reward her for all her hard work. She slipped out of her hiding place and went to send her message to Kivar.

Serena watched as the young blond maid leave her hiding place. There was something that she didn't like about that girl. She didn't know why but she had a bad feeling about that maid. She knocked on the study door then walked in. She had to smile when she saw her sister jump back. Anyone could see that Liz had just been sitting on Max's lap.
"Am I interrupting something?" Asked Serena
"Rena did you need something?" Asked Liz
"Actually there is something. Max how much do you know about that one maid? The short young one with blond hair and blue eyes?" Asked Serena
"Uh not much. She has only been here a couple months. I don't really know much about the hired help." Said Max
"I think she is up to something. She was spying on the two of you." Said Serena
"I will find out more about her. You maybe right. She should of had some kind of work to do. She had no business spying on Liz and me." Said Max
"I know it's not my business. But what were the two of you up to just now?" Asked Serena
Max looked at Liz who nodded her OK.
"Serena, your sister and I have started the bonding. We have just done the mental part of it." Said Max
"Good, I know that Liz will be happier and much better off this way." Said Serena
"Thanks Rena." Said Liz
"Love you big sister." Said Serena
Liz pulled her sister into a hug.
"Love you little sister."
