I'm only getting a little over $1,000 back from federal? WTF?! I got like $1500 last year! Oh, and yeah ... because of some computer software glitch 7 years ago, I owe the state of NY $900 dollars in back taxes for the year ending 2003. I've paid off like $700 already, so the $113 I'm getting back will just be kept by them.
Seriously ... why the hell do I live in NY any more? The most expense state to live in and my salary just barley covers rent & bills. They are constantly hiking up the subway and bus fares. Soon, NY will be for only the Donald Trumps in the world.
Sorry....but that's why I stay the hell out of the Left Wing states and love living in the South.I get almost a thousand bucks back from the Federal Govt and I only owe the state of Alabama....Two dollars

Yeah, see ... I don't go to H&R Block, because they are CROOKS! They charge me nearly $200 dollars to do my taxes and I don't have any dependents or claim anyone other than myself. It's the state ... I'm telling you - It's the friggin' STATE. Bastards are running it into the ground!
$200...ummm it costs me a little bit more than that with dependents. That so doesn't sound right. All I know is don't go to Jackson Hewitt.

Nah, don't go there. I go to www.taxact.com and pay $13.95 to file both federal and state and have the money direct deposited into my account.
Once approved, the deposit goes into my account in less than a week. By this time next week, I'll have my money and I can pay off my bills. Woo hoo! That much closer to being debt free

Like any good Washingtonian, ugh I can't believe I just called myself that, I love my coffee, and there's nothing better then sitting at the bus stop and seeing three Starbucks and two espresso stands, but I would trade it all for a frappe maker and a bialy. I mean english muffins and bagels just don't do it for me.
