killjoy wrote:Wow just wow....Did I just hear Lori tell Andrea that she needs to do the washing and the cooking and the women's work and let the men do the hard work?! Because that's sure what I heard her say!
Uhhh I have to disagree with you there Coco....there's a good chance the baby is Shane's and I do think he should have a say in what goes on with the baby...if it's proven it's his.
Yes, if the baby is his. There is a good a chance that the baby is Shane's, but there's still a chance that it's Rick's. And unless they can magically find a doctor and equipment to do a dna test, they can't prove it either way. And it does no good for nobody having two guys fight over what's best for Lori and the baby when neither of them know. I wasn't saying Shane shouldn't have a say if the baby is his. But until they know for sure, he should just stay out of it and respect Rick and Lori's decision on the matter. This is why the whole pregnancy storyline bugs me. You can still make sex a priority during the apocalypse, but you can't remember protection? Come on, woman.
The first thing you said, though, I agree with. It was very sexist to say that because Andrea's a woman, she should be washing dishes and cooking.
Something just hit me while I was running on the treadmill after work!
Shane used his knife to draw blood and than wipped said blood on the fence to distracted that zombie so he could stab it in the head with the knife and kill it quiet like.......BUT.....just a bit later when he was hidding from the zombie hord in that school bus he did the same thing again in order to kill a zombe.
BUT.......He CUT himself AGAIN with the SAME knife that he just early stabbed in that zombie's head Ohhhh can you say possible infection transfer into the wound?!!!!!
Wow tonight's episode was just The end was just sad really. Dale didn't deserve that kind of death, but when he wandered off at night, I knew something bad was coming and the show didn't disappoint!
Ohhhhh thank god! My most annoying character was killed off! Well one of them that is.
I could NOT stand Dale! This ep proved too me why.Now I'm not talking about the whole should we kill him or should we not kill him question they debated the whole show. What I am talking about was Dale's non ability to understand it WAS the end of the world! The nice, let's just call the cops and than watch Happy Days on tv nice little world that they were used to WAS LOOOOOOOOONG gone!
It's a dog eat dog only the tough live to see the next day world out there now.Dale refused to see that and it got him killed.
What really bugs me is that they all know they are in a very dangerous world now, but still they wander off alone at night, or even daytime into the woods *I'm looking at you Carl & Dale * I can't believe Lori or Rick would allow Carl to wander off alone like that. That walker came deadly close to killing Carl after he spent too long, in my opinion throwing rocks at the walker. Now this is the same walker that attacked both that Cow and Dale. Dale was definitely annoying everyone, but I did read that Robert Kirkman interview on EW.com, and he said Dale's death is going to have a major impact on the remainder of the survivors. He was their moral compass and now he's gone. Will be interesting to see how dark this show goes...there's only 2 episodes left of Season 2!
What I saw him as was an old guy still clinging to the old world that was no longer there. And in doing so couldn't open his eyes to the fact it WAS a dog eat dog world out there and you couldn't live by the old rules anymore.
Okay now that he's dead...and it won't be a spoiler ......in the comic book Dale and Andrea had a thing.....and it was HER that chased him! He was always "I'm too old for you!" but she basicly wore him down and jumped his bones! Later Dale got bit on the foot by a zombie and they quickly took his leg off before the infection could spread. He later got bit again but was kidnapped by a group of starving gangs who had turned into cannibals. They had cut part of him off while he was knocked out and ate his flesh while he watched.Dale kept quiet with a smirk on his face and when they asked him what the hell was so funny he told them that he had been infected and now they were too for having ate part of him!!!!
^^ Ok that last part was funny and disgusting Andrea and Dale being involved Romantically in the comics I did read that somewhere. I could see that happening since they were close on the series.
I got this horrible feeling now that Andrea will feel guilty and try to become the moral judge of the group now that Dale is dead.I hope like hell NOT for I LOVE how she and Shane join up and take sides against Lori and Rick.
I like RIck and think he's a smart enough guy to be a good leader. But I think he still is a bit like Dale.Thinks to much with his old world ways and tries to just get along with everyone he meets instead of thinking about being tough and staying alive.
Lori...I HATE! The way she just assumed that she can just move into Hershel's house beause winter is coming. At least Rick had the manners enough not to assume that and was thinking about how to fix up the barn for winter. But no...Little Ms I'm Queen and everything revolves around me now that I'm pregnant thinks she's got the right to just move into someone's home.
Question for you all here...cast a vote.We talk about this show at work. The main debate going around is this.
Is all of Carol's attention to Darryl fall into more of a love interest to him...or more of a motherly caring? We're split at work over this one.
