Sorry about that Storm...let me see if I can help a little here
Michael
“This way,” Tess says. “He’s near the inn.”
"Well, let's go and get him first then we'll get Isabel." I say as we start walking toward the inn. I have to wonder what he was doing around that area. It wasn't the nicest of places for someone to hangout. That section of town was filled with the more low life people...and darksiders when they decide to show their faces.
We pass several building when I notice a woman kneeling and picking up some food that had been dropped. I couldn't see her face clearly as her blonde hair fell in waves around her face. Stopping, I knelt and picked up a couple pieces of vegitables that had rolled further away from the bags. Holding them out, I wait for her to notice me.
Her head lifts and I feel my breath knocked from my body. She was beautiful. Her lips were full and lush, cheeks high and flushed, while her eyes were a bright green.
"Here you go." I manage to force out after sucking in some much needed air. That's when she smiles at me and I feel this incredible pull toward her. I open my mouth to say something to her when Tess interrupts me.

I watched as the boy seemed to hesitate and couldn't help but laugh, knowing I seemed older then I was in this guise. "I'm sorry. I thought this was Brandi's room." He glances at the room number and adds, "I'm terribly sorry for interrupting you. I'll be going now."
I watch him head off and something tells me that he's not quite what he seems, but instead of bothering with the boy when I could have easily ended his pathetic life, I close the door and lock it, turning to the girl who now looks at me cowering. "Good job, girl." I tell her with a sneer as I move over to her again and tossing down my wrap before pulling the sheet away from her body. Already, the marks from my rough and heady measures were bright upon her skin and I groaned as I reached for her legs and pulled her to the edge of the bed, forcing her legs apart once more before positioning myself and ramming deeply into her.
Unfortunately, the feel of her around me isn't quite as satisfying now that the boy had interrupted and I felt as though his deep brown eyes were looking at me. I should have brought him in and had him join my party. The thought causes me to smirk as I look down at the girl beneath me and start pounding her without really seeing her. Letting my body simply take the little bit of joy it could now.
Not long after, having my release, I looked down at the girl and smiled. "Too bad you'll never have the chance to see the error of being with another stranger." Her unseeing eyes stared at the ceiling and I smiled as I lifted the last of my belongings and took to my true form before slipping out of the room and heading down to the alley to where Erika was waiting.
"Having fun, Erika?" I ask her with a laugh as I move up behind her and step to her side.

love it Magikhands.... I'm still without net, but I'm doing the old copy and paste, save to disk and work on at home so I can post from neighbors when possible... Nicholas and the others will be up in the next couple days...

I'm working on picking up the veggies that I'd dropped when I can't find more in my vicinity and look up to glance around in order to see whether or not I had forgotten any. Instead of sighting the food, I find my eyes locking with those of a man's, dark eyes that seemed to steal my focus. I manage to slowly stand and yet I find myself unable to break eye contact.
"Here you go," he speaks, his deep voice sending shivers through me and I simply smile, uncertain of what there was to say. I step toward him, extending my hand to get the veggie's and when I do, I feel electricity shoot through my veins as my fingers brush over his skin.
My pulse raced as I forced myself to speak. "Thank you... I appreciate the assistance."
"Momma! Momma! That's her, that is the girl that saved me!" I hear a child yelling and before I know it an older pleasantly plump lady is embracing me.
"Thank you. Thank you for saving my son. I wouldn't know what to do without him." The woman says, her eyes filled with tears as she looked into my eyes.
"It's alright, I just did what anyone would have done."
The woman't voice dropped and I felt myself blushing as she continued, "No, Lady, I heard what you did. You are one of the Chosen one's we've heard so much about. It's wonderous to know that you are real, it gives hope."
How can I dissuade her when I can see that she needs the hope? Keeping my voice low, I glance at the man who I somehow felt drawn to and the lady with him and could tell from their expressions that they had heard the woman's words. Looking back, I sigh, "Madame, please do not speak to others about what I look like or who I am. It could cause many dangers for you and your family as well as myself." I tell her softly.
After a few promises, the woman takes her son away and I turn to look at the strangers, "I couldn't take away her hope, though I doubt these Chosen one's truly exist." I lie, though I'm not sure whether they'll believe me, because I'm not the best liar.
"I better go. Thanks again, maybe I'll see you around." Then, not knowing why, I went ahead and said, "My name's Maria and I..." I broke off with a shake of my head and turned to leave, though my stride wasn't as quick as it should have been. Why did I feel so strange?

"Thank you... I appreciate the assistance." The woman says. Her voice is like a beautiful song, so sweet and smooth. I open my mouth to respond but I'm interrupted by a chid's voice.
"Momma! Momma! That's her, that is the girl that saved me!" A child yells as a plump woman embraces the one in front of me nearly making the bags topple again.
"Thank you. Thank you for saving my son. I wouldn't know what to do without him." The woman says near tears.
"It's alright, I just did what anyone would have done." The beautiful woman says to the older one. I watch as a beautiful blush heats her face. I can see that this one is not used to praise.
"No, Lady, I heard what you did. You are one of the Chosen one's we've heard so much about. It's wonderous to know that you are real, it gives hope."
The older woman's words interest me. The Chosen ones. Could this one be such a person? She glancesback at me then to Tess. Was that a spark of fear in her eyes? Was it true?
"Madame, please do not speak to others about what I look like or who I am. It could cause many dangers for you and your family as well as myself." She says softly.
Once the woman and child leave she turns back to us. "I couldn't take away her hope, though I doubt these Chosen one's truly exist."
But I feel as if her words are not true. She is not a very good liar. Even without my extraordinary senses I would know that she speaks false. If this one saved the boy using divine gifts, surely this means that they exist. I understand they hide for their safety, from the Dark Siders, just as I hide from my own blood.
"I better go. Thanks again, maybe I'll see you around. My name's Maria and I..." She stops and shakes her head before turning and leaving.
"Maria." I whisper softly. Her name slid off my tongue easily. It was as beautiful as her voice. As her form got lost in the crowd I finally turn toward Tess.
"What do you think? Is she one of the Chosen?" I ask wanting her opinion of the woman.

I watch the blonde haired woman disappear into the crowd and muse Michael’s question. Was it possible that she was one of the chosen people that we had been searching for? Her quick denial of being one of the chosen was overshadowed by her heartfelt plea to the woman to keep it a secret.
“She could be. There was something about her.” I state. “But on the other hand, it was a child that witnessed her use of powers or whatever it was that led the boy and his mother to believe that she is a chosen one.”
I sigh, realizing that my answer wasn’t much help. “I think that we should follow her. She wasn’t walking that fast so we should be able to catch up with her quite quickly. If she is one of the chosen ones then she will lead us to the others. What do you think? Should we follow the first solid lead we’ve had about finding the chosen ones or should we find Max and Isabel first?”

The thought of seeing the woman again drew heat through my body. And if she was a Chosen one...one of the ones we were looking for, that would be a bonus.
"Let's follow." I tell Tess. "If she stays on track, we'll pass by the inn and maybe find Max while we are at it.

I can't shake the way it felt looking into the stranger's eyes as I walk through the crowd, carrying my supplies carefully. Damn, I knew it was a risk saving that child, but I couldn't just let him fall to his death. Would Liz be upset with me? Would Alex or Kyle? Damn! If only I hadn't dropped the food. Well... I couldn't completely regret that. The stranger was somehow familiar to me. Yet, how could that be?
Shaking my head, I mutter to myself, "Get your head focused, Maria." I glance around, feeling as though I'm being watched as I near the edge of town, having passed through the worst part of the town as I always did on the way to Thunderbreak from Honoo. Turning, I glance around, trying to sight through the evergrowing crowd. It's getting to be late and I know that more of the troubling sort will be wandering about the town soon.
Shaking my head, I can't see anything out of the ordinary, but at one point, I can't help but catch a glimpse of the stranger and his companion. They aren't looking in my direction so for the moment I don't think much of it, but I decide I'll have to watch more often. My pace slows, just in case, and I continue on foot as I often did. I'm used to the path I take and if necessary I can easily place myself in hiding to see who if anyone is really following me.

Threading through the crowd, we follow Maria as discreetly as possible. All of Michael’s attentions are focused on the stranger and I don’t think that I can recall a time where he has been this concentrated on one single woman, chosen one or not.
I try and keep my attention on Maria but my head is buzzing with thoughts. What if she is one of the chosen ones? Who are the other chosen ones? What gifts do they have? Have they come across the darksiders yet?
“She’s slowing her pace,” I murmur to Michael. “Do you think she’s seen us?”
