Chapter 50:
In the Morning:
Liz woke up and sat up to look around the room. She turned her head slightly and found that she was not in bed alone. The blanket was covering
the other person so she couldn't tell who it was so Liz reached and pulled the blanket back to reveal Max was in bed with her.

Liz was shocked and completely confused as she looked at Max. She pulled the blanket back over him before looking around the room to see if she could remember anything about last night. Liz was slightly un nerved as he looked down and pulled the blanket away from her body to find that she was naked. Ok what happened she thought as she pulled the blanket towards her body and started to stand up.

After Liz stood up she wrapped the blanket around her body tightly before she started to look for her clothes. A few minutes later Liz found her nightie and underwear. She put them on quickly and turned to see if Max was still sleep. He was and Liz becameslightly relieved as she walked up to the door and opened it, leaving the quickly.

Liz walked down the hallway to her bedroom. When she got to her room she walked in the room and shut the door behind her. Liz walked up to her
closet and opened the door, still very unsure what happened between her and Max. She started to look for something to wear. A few seconds later Liz found a pair of jeans shorts and a light blue tank top to wear.

Liz grabbed her clothes and walked towards her bed. She sat down on it and looked around. Her mind was trying to grasp what situation she had got herself into with Max. A few minutes later Liz walked out of her room. She turned and shut the door behind her and walked down the hall to the steps, heading to the bar. When Liz gotto the bar she saw that Bear was fixing a cup of coffee. Liz turned nd looked at the damage left from the party and found that the girls and the guys were still sound sleep in the two booths.

Liz turned and saw a cup of coffee setting in front of her. She picked up the coffee and took a drink. She set the cup down and turned and looked around the club. Liz still didn't know what happened between her and Max. And she didn't know if Max would remember and what they were going to do. As Liz was drinking her coffee she continued to search her mind for the answers. All she could recall was that her and Max were drinking and dancing together. After that she couldn't remember what happened.

Bear walked up to Liz a few minutes later and set a plate in front of her. Liz looked down at the plate and saw two eggs, bacon and toast. She looked up at Bear and smiled her thanks. Bear watched Liz pick up a piece of toast and started to eat it. Liz looked up at Bear as Liz ate her toast. When Liz was finished with her breakfast Bear took the plate and walked in the kitchen. Liz felt like someone was watching her she so turned and looked up. When she looked up he met the eye of Max Evans.
She watched Max walk down the stairs and walked up to her. When Max and Liz were face to face they looked at each other.

"Hey Liz," Max said nervously.

"Hey Max," Liz said as she shifted in her seat.

"Liz, do you remember what happened last night?" Max asked.

"You don't remember what happend last night?" Liz asked in shocked.

"No. I don't remember. Will you tell me what happened last night?" Max asked.

"Um, I .......... I don't want to talk about it," Liz said sadly.

"Liz, what is wrong?" Max asked, now worried about what really had happened between them.

"Nothing is wrong. Everything is fine," Liz said swalling back her sadness.

"Ok." Max took a breath and changed the subject." Um, where are our friends?" Max asked.

"Max looked behind you," Liz said.

Max had a weird look on his face before he turned and looked behind him. When he looked behind he saw that their friends were still sleep. Max turned and looked at Liz. Liz looked at Max.

"Wow I can't believe they are still sleep," Max said.

" I know. I guess they were drunk as we were," Liz said awkwardly.

"Yeah, I guess you re right," Max said before adding, "Liz do you think they will be ok when they wake up?"

"Max, just let them sleep it off last night," Liz said.

"Fine.Come on let's go get something to eat," Max said.

"Max, I already ate. Why don't you go ahead," Liz said.

"Ok. I'll be at the bar," Max said.

Max walked up to the bar and sat down. As Max sat down he turned and watched Liz walk into her office. Max turned and saw a cup of coffee and a plate of eggs and bacon in front of him. Max looked up and saw Bear standuing in front of him looking at him.

"Thanks for the food Bear," Max said.

"No problem," Bear said.

Max watched as Bear walked back into the kitchen. As Max ate his breakfast he turned and saw Michael and the others were waking up. They saw Max watching them as he drank his coffee.

"Good Morning," Max said.

"Good morning," Michael said.

"What happened last night?" Alex asked.

"You guys don't remember anything from last night either?" Max asked.

"No. we don't remember anything about last night," Kyle said.

"Well that makes all of us then," Max said.

"What? You don't remember a thing about last night?" Michael asked.

In the office:
Liz watched and heard everything Max and the guys were talking about. Liz stood up and walked out of the office. When she walked out of the office she turned and looked at Max and the guys. Liz looked down at her hands before she looked back up and Max and guys turned to see her staring at them. Max and the guys didn't know what to say or do.

"I'm ..... I just wanted to let you know I'm going for a walk. I'll be back in a few," Liz said as she walked towards the door.

"Liz, wait I'll come with you" Max yelled.

Liz turned and looked at Max. Max and Liz were face to face.

"Liz, I'll go with you," Max said again.

"It's up to you Max," Liz said.

"Ok. Then come on let's go get some air," Max said

Max and Liz walked towards the front door. Liz unlocked the door before they walked out. Liz and Max walked down the steps and towards the back of the club. When they got to the back of the club Max saw a hill. They both walked up the hill. When they got to the top of thr hill they saw trees at the top and at the bottom of the hill they saw a pound. Next to them was a cliff and more trees. Max and Liz both turned and looked at each other. When Max looked at Liz he saw that she was kinda sad.

"Liz, what is wrong?" Max asked.

"Nothing. I'm just thinking is all," Liz said.

"Liz, are you sure you are ok?" Max asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine Max," Liz said.

"Ok. So what are we going to be doing today?" Max asked.

"Well we need to clean up the club from last night," Liz said.

"Oh, yeah, we still have to do that?" Max said.

"Have you ever come up here before?" Max asked.

"Yeah, I come up here sometimes to just think. It helps me relax a little," Liz said.

"Liz, why do you come here to relax?" Max asked.

"Because I just need to," Liz said.

Max and Liz both turned and looked at each other. Max leaned in and kissed Liz. While they were kissing Max pulled Liz towards him. Max put his hands on Liz's hips while Liz put her hands on Max's shoulder. After the kiss Max and Liz both pulled away from each other. Liz turned and looked down at the pond. Max looked at Liz.

"Liz, what is wrong?" Max asked.

"Nothing. I just got a lot on my mind Max," Liz said.

"Liz something is bothering you. Please tell me?" Max asked.

"Max, I'm fine. You know this is the first time we are talking," Liz said.

"Yeah I know it is. Maybe we can keep it up," Max said.

"Thanks that would be nice," Liz said.

"Good. So, after we clean the club are we staying and relaxing?" Max asked.

"Yeah, we are," Liz said.

"Good," Max said.

"We better go back to the club," Liz said.

"Yeah, we better go," Max said.

Max and Liz turned and walked down the hill. When they got down the hill Max and Liz headed back towards the club. They walked up the steps and Max opened the door to the club as they walked in. They saw that their friends were dressed and drinking coffe. Max and Liz walked up to the bar. Bear walked up to Liz and Max.

"What can I get you both?" Bear asked.

"Bear, I'll have a Pepesi. What do you want to drink Liz?" Max asked.

I'll have a Pepsi also. Thank you Bear," Liz said.

Max and Liz both turned and looked at each other and smiled. They both turned and looked at their friends and saw that everyone was talking and laughing. When Max and Liz turned towards the bar they saw their drinks were in front of them.

"Liz, what is wrong with everyone?" Bear asked.

"Oh, Um no one remembers what happened last night," Liz said.

"You mean no one remember a thing from last night," Bear said.

"Not a thing," Max said.

"Wow now that is not good," Bear said.

"Yeah, tell me about it. I still can't figure out how I got into my bed last night," Max said.

Bear looked between Liz and Max. When Bear looked at Liz he saw that she had a hurt look on her face. Bear didn't know why Liz looked hurt and sad. But he knew it must have been something.

"You don't remember a thing from last night?' Bear asked.

No. I don't remember a thing from last night," Max said.

"Can we drop it? And stat cleaning now?" Liz asked angrily.

"Um, yeah, ok," Max said.

"Good. Now that that's settle let's get started," Liz said.

Liz stood up and walked over to where the girls were sitting. When Liz got to the table the girls looked up at her.

"So, what is the plan for forthe day?" Maria asked.

"We need to start cleaning up. After that I say relax," Liz said.

"That sounds like a good plan to us," Serena said.

"Ok. Let's get started then," Liz said.

Everyone stood up and started to clean. They threw away food, beer bottles, beer cans, napkins and paper plates. The guys took the trash out to the trash cans and when the guys walked back in the club and saw the girls moving tables. The guys walked up to the girls and help them.

Meanwhile up stairs:
Liz walked in Max's room and started to clean up. She made the bed and threw away two cups. Aftr the room was cleaned Liz turned and walked out of the room. She walked down the hallway and stopped at the top of the stairs. She watched Serena walk up to the CD player and tapped play.

As the music played everyone went back to cleaning. Max stopped what he was doing suddenly. The music had caused him to remember what happened last night. Max looked up and saw Liz looking at hom then turned away quickly. Liz walked down the steps. When Liz got to the last step she looked up and saw Max standing in front of her. They both looked t each other.

"Max, what is it?" Liz asked.

"Liz, I remember what happened last night," Max said.

"What do you remember about last night?" Liz asked.

"I remember me and you kissing down stairs then we went up stairs to my room. And we made love then held each other till we feel sleep in each
others arms," Max said.

"Wow," Liz said.

"Yeah, I know," Max said.

"How did you remember last night?" Liz asked

" It just came to me," Max said.

"So, what do we do know?" Liz asked.

"I don't know. Right now I need to protect you andthat is my main concern," Max said.

"But Max are you sure you can handle this?" Liz asked.

"Yeah, I need to put my job first and everything eles second," Max said.

Max turned and was about to walk away until Liz put her hand on Max's shoulder. Max turns and looked at Liz. They both looked at each other and smiled. Max and Liz turned when they heard the bell. When they turned they sw a lady looking at them.

"Hello. Honey," Allie said as she looked at Max. Max was glued to the floor.

"Max, who is she?" Liz asked as she looked between Max and the lady.

Chapter 51:
"That is Allie," Max said.

"Who is Allie to you?" Liz asked.

"I'm his girlfriend that is who I am," Allie said.

"I ... I didn't know Max has a girlfriend, Liz said.

"Well he does. So who are you? And what the hell are you doing with my boyfriend?" Allie asked.

"Um, I am Liz. And Max and I were just talking. But why is that any of you buisness?" Liz asked slightly angery.

"Because he is my boyfriend and no one touches my boyfriend but me," Allie said.

"We're just friends and nothing more," Max and Liz said at the same time.

"Good. Let's keep it that way," Allie said.

"Allie, don't start that, Max said annoyed.

"Why is she with you?" Allie questioned.

"We were just talking about something," Max said.

"What were you both talking about?" Allie asked as she shot Liz another look.

"What we talk about is none of your buisness," Max replied.

Liz stood next to Max and watched him argue with this woman, Allie. Liz could tell Max didn't like to argue with Allie. Allie looked at the both of them.

"Liz, can I talk to Max alone please?" Allie asked.

"Um, Max I gotta go see you later,"Liz said before she walks away, from a clearly very uncomfortable situation.

Max watched as Liz walked up to Maria and Serena. Serena and Maria looked at Max completey baffled before they turned and looked at Liz.

"Liz,who is she?" Maria asked.

"That is Allie Max's girlfriend. She is here to see Max," Liz said.

"That is just great. We don't need the crap," Serena said.

"I'll tell you what is going on in my guess is. "The girfriend" is here to take claim on her boyfriend," Maria said as she narrow her eyes in Max and Allie's direction.


"I'm guessing that also. I'll be right back I need to go in the office for a few mintues," Liz said.

Liz turned and looked at Max and Allie as they were talking. Liz turned and walked towards the office and then walks in and shut the door behind her. Liz walks up to the desk and sat down. After Liz sat down Liz started to look through the paper work that was on her desk. God what is happeneing.

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door. Liz looked up from her paperwork and looked at the door.

"Come in," Liz yelled as she looked at the paper work again.

Allie walked into the office and shut the door behind her. She walked up to the desk and sat down. Liz looked up and saw Allie sitting in front of her.

"What do you want Allie? I'm kinda busy here?" Liz said.

"It won't take long to say what I have to say to you," Allie said.

"What do you have to day to me?" Liz said rolling her eyes slightly.

"I want you to say the hell away from my boyfriend. Whatever you two had is over with now or you're going to be very sorry for messing with me," Allie said.

"What are you going to do about it if I don't?" Liz asked.

"Let's just say you re going to be very sorry,"Allie said.

"What the hell does that mean?" Liz asked.

"I'll make your life a living hell," Allie said.

"Fine. But what do I say to Max?" Liz asked.

"Leave that to me," Allie said.

"Remember if I see you around or talking to Max you will be getting this," Allie said as she pulled out a very sharp knife.

Liz looked at Allie and knew she meant Buisness. Liz also knew to be very scared of Allie. Allie looked at Liz with a smirk on her face.

"You understand me don't you?" Allie asked.

"Yeah. I understand you perfectly," Liz said.

"Good. Now remember don't be around or talk to Max. If you do you will regret it," Allie said.

Liz watched as Allie put her sharp knife in her jacket pocket. Liz looked up at Allie and knew this was going to be bad. Liz and Allie looked at each other when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," Liz yelled from her desk.

Max walked in the office and shut the door behind him. He turned and saw Liz and Allie sitting across from each other and could feel the tension in the room. He walked upto the desk and looked between Liz and Allie.

"Is everythign ok in here?" Max asked.

'Yeah, everything is fine here Max," Allie said.

"Good top know. So what are you both talking about then?" Max asked.

"We're talking about nothing at all," Liz said.

"Liz, since the club is cleaned I'm going to go to my apartment and grab some clothes. Do you need anything from your apartment on the way back?" Max asked.

"No. I don't need a thing from my apartment. You better go so you can get back sooner," Liz said.

"Yeah, that is true. Liz where are you staying tonight here or the apartment?" Max asked.

"Um, I'm going to stay here for a while," Liz said.

"Max, me and you need to talk about something. Do you mind if I take him away from a while?" Allie asked as she narrow her eyes at Liz.

"No. I think you both should go and talk," Liz said.

"Liz, are you sure?" Max asked.

"Yeah, I'm sure. You both probably have a lot to talk about," Liz said.

"Ok. Then I guess I'll see you later then," Max said.

"Yeah, see you later Max," Liz said.

Liz watched as Max and Allie walk out of the office. Max turned and looked at Liz as he shut the door. Liz looked at Max. After the door was shut Liz started to work on the paper work on her desk, feeling sad about this new development.

A few minutes later Liz was finished with her paper work. She stood up and walked towards the door. When she opened the door and walked out she saw the girls and a couple of guys were still here.

Liz walked up to Maria and tapped her on the shoulder, Maria turned and looked at Liz.

"So, where is everyone?" Liz asked.

"Some people went home to change clothes," Maria said.

"And the rest of you?' Liz asked.

"We are here because we rather be here then go home," Maria said

"That is understandable," Liz said.

"So, what are you going to to be doing today?" Maria asked.

"Oh, you know just relax a little. What about you?" Liz asked.

"Oh, I am going to relax today, Maria said.

"Yeah, that is a good thing to do," Liz said.

"That is true," Maria said.

Lizwalked away from Maria and walked up to the CD player. She tapped play. Liz walked up to the dance floor as "Jessica Simpson's Irresistible"
started to play. Liz started to sing and dance. She started to shake her hips as she singed.

Liz spins and twists her hips as she sings. Bear walks up to Liz and jions her in dancing. After the song Liz starts st sing and dance to "Jessice Simpsons Little more." Bear and Liz swayand shake their hips. As Liz and Bear were dancing Max and Allie walked into the club.

Max and Allie stopped and watched Liz and Bear dance. Max watched as Liz stopped and looked at Bear. A slight wave of jealousy hit Max watched Bear and Liz hug and laugh. Liz turned and saw Max. There was an awkward tension in the air as Max and Liz both continued to make eye contact only to look away again. Liz finally turned and walked up to the bar where Teddy was waiting.

"What can I get you?" Teddy asked.

"I'll have a coke and rum please teddy?' Liz said.

Teddy turned away and started to fix Liz's drink. While Liz was waiting for her drink she turned and looked at the dance floor. When he looked at the dance floor that is when she saw Max and Allie dancing. She was slightly pained by this and it hurt to see Max with Allie. Liz turned and saw her drink in front of her. Liz took a drink then set the cup down. After she took a drink she setthe cup down and ordered another shot. While Liz was waiting for her drink Max walked up to her. Liz turned and saw Max standing in front of her.

"What do you want Max?" Liz asked.

"I came here to check on you," Max said.

"Well you can see I am just fine. So go back to Allie," Liz said sadly.

"Liz, are you ok?" Max asked concerned.

"Yeah, Max I am fine," Liz said sarcastically as another shot was set in front of her.

"Liz, I know a lot has happened over the past 24 hours, will you please talk to me?" Max sked.

"Max, I have nothing to say to you. So go back to Allie," Liz said.

Max and liz both looked at each other. Liz turned and took a drink. A few
seconds later Liz turned and saw Max was still standing in front of her.

"Max just leave me alone," Liz said.

"I'm wanting to mke sure you are really ok," Max said.

"Yes Max I am really ok," Liz said.

"Are you sure?" Max asked.

"Yes, I am really fine. You can leave me alone now," Liz said as she turned away.

Max was about to say something when Allie walked up to Max and Liz. Allie stood behind Max as Liz turned and looked at Max.

"Max, what?" Liz asked angerly.

"Liz, what is going on?" Max asked now really concerned. It hurt that after everythign she was shutting him out.

"Nothing I just want you to leave me alone," Liz said.

"Ok, I will do as you ask. I'll talk to you later then," Max said before he walked away.

Allie and Liz both looked at each other.

"What?" Liz asked.

"You better stay away or I'll kick your ass," Allie said.

"Allie I told you I will. Now go away," Liz said.

Liz watched as Allie walked away from her. She watched as Allie walked up to Max. Max turned and looked at Allie. Liz turned and took another drink. After liz finished her drink she walked up to Maria. When Liz stood next to Maria she tapped her on the shoulder. Maria turned and lookedat Liz. Liz grabbed Maria by the arm and stepped away from their friends.

When Liz and Maria were away from their friends Liz and Maria turned and looked at each oher.

"Liz, what is wrong?" Maria asked.

"Maria promise me you won't tell Max where I am going?" Liz asked.

"But Liz," Maria said.

"Maria, promise me first?" Liz asked.

"Fine. I promise I won't tell. Tell me where you will be?' Maria asked.

"I'm going to stay here tonight and tomorrow night. I need to get away ok?" Liz said.

"Ok. I won't tell Max. But what is going on?" Maria asked.

"Let's just say that things re too hard to handle right now. And leave it at
that," Liz said.

"Ok. that is understandable," Maria said.

"Thanks for understanding. I'm going to go ahead and go to bed. See you at work tomorrow," Liz said.

"Ok. You sleep well. And forget about Max for tonight. See you at work tomorrow," Maria said as she hugged Liz.

Liz and Maria pulled away from each other. Liz walked upthe stairs to her room. She walked down the hallway and opened the door. When she got into her room she shut the door behind her and started to change into her mightgown. She walked up to her bed and laid down. A few seconds later she was fast a sleep.

Meanwhile down stairs:
Maria walked up to bear and told him to close the club. Bear walked up to the microhone and told everyone it was time to leave it was closing time. Everyone walked out of the club execpt for Jim and friends. After everyone was gone Jim and friends started to clean up the club.

When the club was cleaned everyone walked out of the club. Maria locked the doors and turned to see everyone was at their cars. Maria walked down the steps and got into Michael's car. After everyone was in their cars they drove off in different directions.

Chapter 52
When Michael, Maria, and Max got to the apartment building Michael parked the car and got out. They walked up the steps to the building and Michael opened the door as he watched Max and Maria walk in.

Michael turned and shut the as he folowed them in before he turned and saw Max and Maria waiting for him and they all turned and walked up the steps to the apartment. When they got to the apartment Max unlocked the door and watched Michael and Maria walk in before he shut the door behind him. Max locked the door before he turned and looked at Michael and Maria.

They all walked in the living room and noticed no one was there.

"Where is Liz?" Max asked.

"Liz decided she wanted to be alone right now," Maria said sadly.

"Tell me where she is Maria. I'm suppose to be protecting her," Max said slightly angry.

"Max, just leave her alone tonight. She'll be at the club in the morning," Maria said flatly.

"Fine, but I hate this," Max said as he walked out of the living room.

Maria and Michael turned and looked at each other.

"Is Max going to be ok?" Maria asked.

"Yeah, He's just got a lot on his mind right now is all," Michael said.

"What is on his mind Michael?" Maria asked.

"Well he has to protect Liz and try to handle Allie who won't leave him alone, Michael said.

"Michael who is Allie to Max Max? And what is she doing here?" Maria asked.

"Maria, you need to ask Max. I can't tell you," Michael said.

"Fine, I'll go ask him," Maria said as she stood up.

Maria walked up to Max's bed room door and knocked. She waited a few minutes and when he didn't answer her, she walked in the room.She found Max standing quietly in front of the window. Maria walked up to Max and tapped him on the shoulder. Max turned and looked at Maria.

"Max, I want to know somethings," Maria ked.

"What do you want to know," Max asked.

"Who is Allie to you?" Maria asked.

"Allie is my ex girlfriend that won't leave me alone," Max said.

"What is he doing here?' Maria asked.

"I don't know what Allie is doing here. But when she is around she causes problems for everyone," Max said.

"What problems can she cause?' Maria sked.

""Maria, Allie can have people hate each other in a blink of an eye," Michael said.

Max and Maria turned and saw Michael standing in the doorway looking at them.

"How do you know that Michael?" Maria asked.

"Because she did that to Max before," Michael said.

"So, what do we do about Allie?" Maria asked.

"We just got to watch what she does. Max you need to stay away from Allie," Michael said.

"That is easier said then done," Max said.

Maria was about to walk out of the room when Michael grabed Maria's arm. Maria turns and looks at Michael.

"Where are you going Maria?" Michael asked.

"I'm going to the club to check on Liz. Do you both want to go with me?" Maria asked.

"Yeah, let's go. So that way we can keep her safe," Max said.

"Ok. Maria go get somethings gathered we're staying at the club as long as Liz stays there," Michael said.

Maria walked out of the bedroom and walked to her room. When she got to the room she started to gather her and Michael's things. Maria walked to the closet and grabbed four bags. She walked up to the bed and started to fill the bags.

A few minutes later Maria had teo bags full of her and Michael's things. Maria grabbed the bags and walked out of her bed room. Shwe walked into the living room where he saw Michael and Max looking out the window.

"Max, Michael what is going on?" Maria asked.

"Nothing. We are just keeping a lookout," Michael said.

"Max, here are a couple of bags for bedding and clothes," Maria said.

"Thanks Maria. I'll be back in a few minutes," Max said.

Michael and Maria watched as Max walks towards Liz's room. They saw Max walk in the room and shut the door. Michael and Maria turned and looked at each other.

"Is Max going to be ok?" Maruia asked.

"Yeah, He is worried about Liz and Allie is bugging him," Michael said.

"He needs to stop worrying about Liz. She just needs time away from Max is all," Maria said

"I know that. But right now we need to keep you aand the other girls safe ok?" Michael said.

"I know Michael. But right now a lot is going on," Maria said.

"I know that Maria," Michael said.

Max walked out of the bedroom and into the living room where he saw Michael and Maria looking at each other.

"Um, Michael I got everything ready to go," Max said.

Michael and Maria turned and looked at Max. Max looked at Michael and Maria.

"Well we better get going then," Michael said.

They walked towards the door and Michael made sure everything was off and closed. Michael opened the door and watched Max and Maria walk out. Michael closed the door behind them. Michael, Maria and Max walked down the stairs to the buildings door where they exited towards the parking area.

Meanwhile at the club:
Liz walkedinto the kitchen and walked up to the fridge. She opened the door and grabbed a bottle of water. As Liz turned she shut the door and turned around she was surprised to find Allie standing in front of her.

"What the hell are you doing here Allie?" Liz asked.

"I just came here to teach you a lesson bitch," Allie said.

"What lesson would that be Allie?" Liz asked.

"This you slutty bitch," Allie said as she walked up to Liz.

Liz and Allie were face to face when Allie slapped Liz across the face. Liz slapped Allie back before thry started to hit each othr. Allie punched Liz in the arms while Liz tried to protect herself. Allie punched Liz again hitting her in the mouth. Liz turned and looked at Allie, meeting her eyes which held pure hatred.

"You better leave my mn alone you whore or you will be sorry," Allie said before she walked out of the kitchen.

Liz stood up and walked out of the kitchen. She walked up the stairs to her room. When she got to her room she opened the door and walked in.
Liz walked up to the mirror. When she looked in the mirror she saw that she had cuts and bruises on her arms, and her lip was bleeding.

After Liz looked in the mirror she walked up to her bed and laid down. Liz pulled her blankets towards her and covered up. Liz fell asleep a few minutes later.

Meanwhile in the club's parking lot:
Michael drove into the parking lot and parked the car in front of the club. Michael, Maria and Max grabbed the bags as they got out of the car. They walked up the steps to the doors Maria reached in her pocket and grabbed the key to the club and unlocked the doors. Michael, Maria, and Max walked in the club. After they walked in Maria turned and locked the door behind them. They looked around before they walked into the office and shut the door.

When they walked into the office Maria walked up to the couch and laid down. Michael walked up to the couch and laid down on the floor next to the couch. Max walked up to the desk and sat down in the chair. They all were a sleep a few minutes later.

In the Morning:
Liz woke up and looked around. She set up and walked up to the mirror. When she got to the mirror she saw that she had a black and blue bruises on her face and arms. Liz turned and walked up to her closet and opened the doors. She started to look for something to wear.

After a few minutes minutes oflooking she found a long sleeve shirt and jeans to wear. She then walked up to her dresser and grabbed her undergarments and then she shut the drawer. Liz walked up to her bedroom door and opened the door. She walked down the hall to the bathroom. When she got to the bathroom she walked in and set her clothes on the sink. Liz turned and shut the bathroom door. She walked up to the bath tub and turned on the water. As the water was running Liz turned on the shower. Liz stepped back and started to take off her clothes before she walked in the shower. She let the water hit her body and winced a little at the bruises on her body.

A few minutes later Liz got out of the shower, got dressed and exited the bathroom to walk down the hallway to the steps. Liz walked down the steps and walked towards the office. Liz opened the door and that is when she sawMaria sleeping on the couch and Michael sleeping on the floor. She turned to find Max sleeping in the chair at the desk. Liz was shocked to see them in the office.

Liz walked in the office and slammed the door shut really hard. She watched as Maria, Michael, and Max jumped and looked around. When they saw that Liz was mad.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Liz asked.

"We wanted to make sure that you would be safe here at the club," Max said.

"Well you can see that I am fine," Liz said.

"We better go change and get ready for work," Maria said as she stood up.

Max stood up and walked up to Liz. Liz turned and looked at Max.

"What?" Liz asked.

"Liz, are you ok? You seem a little different," Max said.

"Max, I'm fine ok. You guys better hurry and get ready it's already 7:30am," Liz said.

"Ok. I'll be back in a few minutes ok?" Max said.

"Yeah, see you in a few minutes," Liz said as she walked out of the office.

Liz walked up to the bar and sat down. She didn't know what she was goin to do about Allie and Max.

A few minutes later Liz turned and saw Max, Maria and Michael walking up to her.

"Where are we meeting Jim at?" Liz asked

"We are all meeting at Jim's house," Michael said.

"Oh, ok. Maria did you lock up the apartment before you left?' Liz asked.

"Yeah, everything is locked up. So are we ready to leave now?" Maria asked.

"I'm ready to go," Liz said.

"We're ready to go," Max and Michael said.

Liz and Maria turned and grabbed their purses. After they got their purses they turned and looked at Max and Michael. As they all started to walk towards the door they saw Allie standing in the doorway looking at them.

"Where is everyone going?" Allie asked.

"We have a meeting at Jim's house right now," Michael said.

"Oh you do? Max can you ride with me? I need to talk to you about something. It's very important," Allie said.

"I um.........," Max said stuttering a little as he looked at Allie.

"Max, why don't you ride with Allie? Michael can take me and Maria to Jim's," Liz said.

"Um, I don't know," Max said.

"Good. It's decided. We'll meet you there Max," Liz said as Maria and her walked out the door.

Max watched as Liz, Maria and Michael walked out of thr club and down the steps to Michael's car. He watched as they got in the car and drove off. Max turned and looked at Allie. Allie looked at Max.

"What the hell do you wnt to talk about Allie?" Max asked.

Chapter 53:
"Max, I just wanted to talk to you," Allie said.

"Allie, I'm not in the mood for your games just tell me what you want?" Max said.

"Fine be that way, I want to know what Liz is to you?" Allie asked.

"Liz is my friend. I'm suppose to be protecting her. There are you happy now?" Max asked.

"Yeah I am. So, nothing is going on between You and Liz?" Allie asked.

"Yeas nothing is going on between Liz and I. Why do you want to know?" Max asked.

"You and Liz seem close. And I was wondering what was going on between the both of you," Allie said.

"Liz and I are friends. And if you are wondering friends can be close," Max said.

"Whatever you say max honey," Allie said.

Are we finish talking? Because I need to get to Jim's for the meeting," Max said.

"Yeah we're finish talking for now. Come on I'll take you to jim's," Allie said.

Max and Allie walked out f the club. They walked down the steps to Allie's car. They got in the car and drove to Jim's house. On the way to Jim's Allie and Max didn't talk to each other. When they got to Jim's house Max got out of the car and walked up to the house. Max knocked on the door. While Max waited for the door to open he turned and watched Allie drive off. Max turned when he heard the door opening. When Max walked in he saw Liz standing next to the door.

Max turned and shut the door. After the door was shut he turned and looked at Liz. Max and Liz walked down the hallway to the living room where everyone was waiting for them. When they walked into the living room everyone turned and looked at them. Liz walked away from Max and went to sit down next to Maria.

"What is going on?" Max asked.

"Nothing is going on. Everything is ok. Where were you?" Jim asked.

"Um I was at the club talking to Allie," Max said.

"Ok. Now back to buisness you and the guys need to make sure the girls are never alone. Matt and his men are trying to kill them," Jim said.

"How many of you girld know Matt, Chris, Scott and Clay?" Michael asked as he looked at the girls.

"Wait Matt from our college days?" Maria sked.

"Yeah. Now how many of you knew them?" Michael asked.

"If it is Matt from college we all knew him," Serena said

"How do you all know Matt?" Max asked as he looked at the girls.

"Because he was in all of our classes," Maria said.

"Wow he must have wanted to get some good classes," Alex said.

"No he didn't. He just bugged all of us," Maria said.

"Do any of you know why he bugged you?" Max asked.

"No we never knew. All we ever knew is he wanted to bug us as far as I know," Tess said.

"Do any of you know why Matt is after you?" Kyle asked.

"No we don't know. But whatever is was must have been really bad," Isabel said.

Max turned and looked at Liz. He saw that Liz was bitting her lower lip. Max notices Liz do that when she has something to hide and when she is nerves. Liz turned and saw that Max was looking at her. Max stood up and walked over to Liz. He stood next to her and watched their friends talking.
Max and Liz both turned and looked at each other.

"Liz, do you know Matt and why Matt is after you and the girls?" Max asked.

"Max, I Knew Matt in school. He was in 3 of my classes. But I don't know why he is after me and the girls," Liz angerly.

"Liz we are just trying to figure out why Matt is after you and the girls," Max said raising his voice a little.

"Who the hell knows why Matt is after us?" Liz yelled.

Alex and everyone turned and looked at Max and Liz. Alex stood up and looked at everyone.

Hey, why don't we all calm down. Let's talk about what we are going to do
about the problem," Alex said.

"I say we keep gaurding them til we get Matt and his men," Jim said.

"I agree with you Jim," all the guys said.

"Wait. what does that mean for us?" Maria asked.

"It means that the guys will be with you 24/7. You girls will never be alone
tilwe catch Matt and his men," Jim said.

"Hey, that is not fair," Tess yelled.

"We want to keep you girls safe and alive," Kyle said.

"Fine we will do this but we also need our space," Isabel said.

Meanwhile across the room Max and Liz were both leaning back against the wall. Max and Liz both turned and looked at each other.

"So, how was your talk with Allie?" Liz asked.

"Oh, Um the talk was um interesting," Max said.

"What dod you and Allie talk about?" Liz asked.

"Oh, we just talked about you and me," Max said

"What do you mean you talked about you and me," Liz asked.

"Well she thinks that me and you are more then friends. And she wants us not to be friends," Max said.

"Max that is dum. Me and youre just friends nothing more," Liz said.

"Liz, you and I both know that we are friends. What Allie thinks doesn't matter to me. What about you?""Max asked.

"I agree with you Max. Ware you going to do about Allie?" Liz asked.

"I don't know what to do right now," Max said.

"Max, you need to decide something soon," Liz said.

"I know I do. But I don't know how to do it," Max said.

"Good luck with that," Liz said.

"Liz, where are you going to be staying tonight?" Max asked.

"I'm going to be staying at the club. While you stay somewhere eles," Liz said.

"Why?" Max asked.

"Max, your girlfriend Allie is here to visit you. You need to spend sometime with her while she is here," Liz said.

"Liz, Allie is not my girlfriend. She is my ex girlfriend. And I don't want to spend time with her ever," Max said.

"Well that is not what I heard," Liz said.

"Liz, will you tell me what is going on?" Max asked.

"Nothing is going on Max. I just don't want you around me for a while," Liz said.

Max turned and faced Liz. Max grabbed Liz by the arm and turned her to face him. Liz quickly pulled her arm away from Max as she turned and and looked at him. Max and Liz both looked at each other.

"Liz, what is really going on? Why are you acting like this?" Max asked.

"Max, nothing is really going on. I'm acting like nothing is going on. See I'm fine. So after this leave me alone and go see Allie," Liz said.

"So, What am I suppose to do just stop protecting you?" Max asked.

"Yeah, you are going to stop protecting me," Liz said.

"When do you want me to stop protecting you? Why do you want me to stop prtecting you? Max asked.

"I want you to stop now. And the reason why I want you to stop protecting because we need time and space between us for a while," Liz said.

"Liz, I'll give you all the space you want. But I want you to know I'll still be watching and protecting you," Max said.

"I know you will be watching and proteting me Max. But you and Allie needto talk and you both need to decide what to do," Liz said.

"Yeah, I know me and Allie need to talk. I just hatewhen we both try we get into an arguement," Max said.

"Max, you need to talk and get it over with," Liz said.

"Your right I better go and talk to her," Max said.

"I better go see what Maria wants to do today. I'll see you around Max,"Liz said before she walked away.

Max watchedas Liz walked up to Maria and tapped her on the shoulder. He watched as Maria turned and looked at Liz.

Meanwhile at the couch:
Maria and Liz both turned and looked at each other.

Liz, what is wrong?" Maria asked as she was worried.

"Nothing is wrong Maria. What are you going to be doing today?" Liz asked.

"I'm going to be doing nothing today why?" Maria asked.

"Do you want to hang out at the club today?" Liz asked.

"That sounds like a good plan. What were you and Max talking about?" Maria asked as she noticed Max watching them.

"Nothing. I told Max that him and Allie should talk and find out what is going on," Liz said.

"Liz, that sounds like a good idea. I hope Max will be able to go through with it," Maria said.

"Yeah, I hope so too," Liz said.

"So, what do you want to do at the club?" Maria asked.

"I think some dancing and singing. Is that ok with you?" Liz asked.

"Yeah that sounds good to me," Maria said.

"Good. So how is everything with Michael protecting you?" Liz asked.

"It is going good. But I'm not sure if it is just an act or not," Maria said.

"You know it might not be an act. He really might be that way," Liz said.

"Yeah, that is true," Maria said.

Liz and Maria turned and looked up and saw Max and Michael leaning against the wall talking about something. Max and Michael looked up and saw Liz and Maria looking at them. Lizand Maria turned and started to talk to each other again.

"I wonder what they are talking about?" Maria asked.

"I think Max is telling Michael that I don't want him around me til him and Allie talk things out," Liz said.

"How long do you think thsat will take?" Maria asked.

"I don't know and I really don't care," Liz said.

"Where are you going to be sleeping?" Maria asked

"I'll be sleeping at the club til I'm ready to go back to the apartment," Liz said.

"Where do you think Max is going to be sleeping?" Maria asked.

"All I know is that I don't want to be around him for a while," Liz said.

"Liz you don't have to worry Max will probably be staying at his apartment," Maria said.

"That is what I am hoping for," Liz said.

"Well let's hope he gives you the space you need," Maria said.

" I hope Max will too. Listen I'm going to go the back yard for a few minutes. Come and get me when it is time to go ok?" Liz asked.

"Ok. I'll let you know when it is time to go," Maria said.

Liz stood up and walked towards the kitchen. when she walked into kitchen she walked to the back door. Liz opened the back door and walked out into the yard. Liz looked around and found a tire tied to a tree. Liz walked up to the tire swing and sat down. Liz sat there listening to the sounds all around her.

A few minutes later Liz heard the back door open. Liz looked up and saw Max walking towards her. Liz stood up and was face to face with Max.

"What do you want Max?" Liz asked.

"I just wanted to talk to you," Max said.

"Max, what do we have to talk about?" Liz asked.

"I want to let you know that I'm going to be staying the somewhere for a few days. Then if it is ok with you I'll stay at the club for a couple of days?" Max asked.

"Yeah, sure you can stay at the club. Max I hope you and Allie have a nice talk," Liz said.

"We will. If I remember correctly our last talk turned into yelling and arguing," Max said.

"Maybe the talk will be better then the last one," Liz said.

"I doubt that this one will go good. But I'll have to wait and see," Max said.

"Max, just remember to be calm when you talk to her," Liz said.

Liz, why are you wanting to away from me?" Max asked

"Because Max I need time to think and I can't do that with you around me," Liz said.

"I think you can. I think it is something eles. tell mewhat it is?" Max asked.

"Max, that is the real reason," Liz said.

"Liz, I think you are lying to me. Why can't you tell methe truth?" Max asked.

"Max,that is the truth. Sorry if you don't understand that," Liz said before she walked away.

Liz was about to walk away when Max grabbed Liz by her arm. Liz turned and looked at Max. Max and Liz both took a step towards eachother.

Chapter 54:
"Liz please tell me?" Max asked.

"Max, their is nothing to tell. I just think you both need to talk is all." Liz said.

"Is that so?" Max asked.

"Yes. Think that is so," Liz said.

Max and Liz both stood face to face. Max and Liz started to lean in and was about to kiss when they heard the back door open. Max and Liz both turned and looked and the person that opened the door. When they turned they saw Maria standing in the door looking at them.

"Liz? Sorry did I interup something?" Maria asked.

"No you didn't. What do you need Maria?" Liz asked.

"I just wanted to let you know it's time to go," Maria said.

Liz turned and looked at Max. Then she turned and looked at Maria.

"Ok. I'll be there in a second," Liz said.

"Liz turned and looked at Max as Maria waited for her.

"Max I guess I'll see you around," Liz said.

"You know you wil. Talk to you later Liz," Max said.

Liz turned and walked up to Maria. When Liz stood next to Maria she turned and looked at Max one more time before she walked into the house. Liz and Maria walked through the kitchen and into the living room. After they walked into the living room they turned and walked to the front door. Maria opened the door and walked out the door. As Liz walked out the door she shut the door behind her. Liz and Maria walked to Michael's car. They got in the car and drove off.

When they got to the club's parking lot. Liz and Maria got out of the car and walked up the steps to the club. When they got to the doors Maria reached into her pocket and greabbed her keys tothe club. Maria pulled the keys out and unlocked the doors. After the doors were unlocked Liz walked in the club and walked up tothe bar.

Meanwhile outside:
Maria turned and looked at Michael as he walked up the steps. Michael looked at Maria. They both stood face to face. Michael put his hand out for Maria. Maria put her hand in his. They both turned and and walked in the club. When they walked in the club they saw Liz looking down while drinking a Pepsi. Michael and Maria walked up to Liz. Maria tapped Liz on the shoulder. Liz turned and looked at Michael and Maria.

"Liz are you ok?" Michael asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Michel thank you for asking and for bringing me here," Liz said.

"Hey no problem. Liz what is going on with you and Max?" Michael asked.

"Michael sorry I can't tell yoou. It's between Me and Max," Liz said.

"What is between you and Max?" Allie asked.

Liz, Michael and Maria turned and saw Allie sanding in the door way of the club. Allie looked at Liz with a smile on her face. Maria and Michael turned
and looked at Liz and Allie. They both saw Liz was both worried and scared. And when they turned and looked at Allie's face the didn't see anything. Michael and Maria both watched as Allie walked up to Liz. When Allie and Liz were face to face.

"What are you doing here Allie?" Liz asked.

"Oh, I just came here to see what you are up to," Allie said.

"I'm here to just relax and have some fun," Liz said.

"Oh, That is good to know," Allie said.

"Allie what do you want?" Liz asked.

"I just want to talk to you alone," Allie said.

"Fine. Let's go in the office and have a talk," Liz said as she stood up.

Liz and Allie walked towards the office. Liz reached in her purse and unlocked the door. Liz watched as Allie walked in the office. Liz turned and looked at Maria and Michael. Michael and Maria both look at Liz.

"I'll be back in a few minutes," Liz said as she walked into the office.

Liz walked in the office and shut the door behind her. Liz turned and looked at Allie. Allie looked at Liz with a smirkon her face.

"What the hell do you want Allie?" Liz said.

"For you to stay away from Max you slutty bitch," Allie said.

Liz was about to say something when Allie grabs Liz and turns her to face her. When Allie and Liz were face to face Allie grabed Liz's arms and starts to shake her.

"You better stay the fuck away or I'll make you pay bitch for being around my boyfriend," Allie said as she started to shake Liz more harder.

Liz tries to get free from Allie as she is being shaked. Allie keeps shaking Liz as she pushed Liz to the wall. When Liz hits the wall she slides down til she is on the floor. Allie walked up to Liz and saw that Liz was sitting up and looking at her. Allie bent down to look at Liz. As Allie and Liz were face to face Liz lean back against the wall more.

Liz watched as Allie stood up and walked towards the door.When Allie got to the door she turned and looked at Liz one last time before she turned and walked out the door. After Allie walked out the door Liz stayed seated against the wall crying. Liz was scared of what Allie will do next to her.

A few minutes later Liz walked out of the office. When she walked out of the offie she saw Mari and Michael sitting at the bar talking. Maria and Michael turned and saw that Liz was crying. Maria walked up to Liz. Liz turned and saw Maria standing infront of her.

"Liz what is wrong?" Maria asked.

"Nothing. I'm just thinking about something is all," Liz said.

"Liz are you sure you are ok?" Maria asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'll be right back I need to change clothes," Liz said as she walked away.

Liz walked up the stairs and down the hall to her room. When Liz got to her room she walked in and shut the door behind her. After the door was shut Liz walked up to her bed and sat down. Liz looked around her room before she stood up and walked yo the closet.

Liz opened her closet and started to look for something to wear. Afew minutes later Liz found a pair of shorts and a short sleeve t-shirt to wear.
Liz walked up to her bed and sat down. Liz started to change clothes. A couple of minutes later Liz walked out of her room and walked up the hallway.

Liz stood at the top of the stairs. She looked down and saw Michael and Maria slow dancing close together. Liz smiled as she watched them dance
together. As Michael and Maria were dancing Max walked into the club. He
walked up to the bar and turned. He watched as Michael and Maria danced. Liz turned and and started to alk down the stairs. As Liz walked down the stairs and walked up to the bar she saw Max was watching her.
When Liz got to the bar she walked behind the bar and grabbed a bottle of water. After she got her bottle of water Liz walked from behind and walked up to the stage and sat down. A few minutes later Maria walked up to Liz and sat down next to her. Liz and Maria turned and looked at eachother.

"So, are you ready to have some fun," Maria asked.

"Yeah, let's do this,"Liz said as she stood up.

Liz walked up to the CD player and tapped play. Liz and Maria walked out to the dancefloor and started to dance. They were laughing as they swayed and twisted their hips hips to the music. Liz and Maria started to sing " Girlfriend by Avril Lagval" Max and Michael watched as Liz and Maria danced. When the song was over Liz and Maria turned and looked at Max and Michael.

"What is Max doing here?" Liz asked.

"Who knows. Are you going to go and find out?" Maria asked.

"Yeah, I am. I'll be right back," Liz said.

Liz walked up to Max and tapped him on the shoulder. Max turned and looked at Liz. Max and Liz stood face to face.

"Max what are you doing here?" Liz asked.

"I just wanted to come and check up on you," Max said.

"Max, yu need to stay the hell away from me. And you need to go talk to Allie. Now please go away?" Liz asked.

"Liz what is going on with you?" Max asked.

Nothing is going on. I just don't want you around me or protecting me. Now bye Max!" Liz said.

Max turned and looked at Michael. Michael looks at Max then turns and looks at Liz and Maria.

"You know she is hidding something don't you?" Michael asked.

"Yeah, I know she is. But the question is whay could she be hidding from us?" Max asked.

"I bet yoou are going to find out what secret she is hiding," Michael said.

"You know I am," Max said.

As Max and Michael were talking Allie walked into the club. Liz and Maria turned and stopped dancing when they saw Allie. Max and Michael noticed that Liz and Maria stop dancing they turned and saw Allie looking at them. Michael and Max looked at Allie then looked at Liz and Maria. Max turned and looked at Michael.

"Michael, I'll be right back. Keep an eye on Liz and Maria," Max said before he walked away.

Max walked up to Allie. Allie and Max stood face to face.

"Allie what are you doing here?" Max asked

"I could ask you the samething," Allie said.

"I came here so I could talk to Michael. what about you?" Max asked.

"I was coming to look for you. I need to talk to you about something," Allie said.

"What do you need to talk to me about?" Max asked.

"Max, I know you said that you and Liz are friends but I think there is more then frieendship going on here," Allie said.

"Allie nothing more then friendship is going on between Me and Liz," Max said.

"Max, you know I love youo and care about you but I think more then friendship is between you and Liz," Allie said.

"No Me and Liz are just friends," Max said.

"Max, I know we have problems in our relationship. But I do believe you and Liz have the more then friends thing going on," Allie said.

"Allie I really don't want to talk about it here," Max said.

"Then come on let's go for a drive and talk," Allie said.

"Ok. That sound s good to me," Max said.

Liz, Michael and Maria watched as Max and Allie walk out of the club and down the steps to Allies car. The watched as Max got in the car and they drove off. Maria, Michael and Liz all looked at each other then walked up to the bar and sat down.

Meanwhile in Allie's car:
Max and Allie drove down the road til the got to a lookout point. Allie pulled into the look out point and looked for somewhere to park. When she found a place to park she pulled in and parked the car. Allie turned off the engine and turned and looked at Max. Max turned and looked at Allie.

"So, what do we need to talk about?" Max asked.

"Max, I want to know why did you leave me?" Allie asked.

"Allie, you still don't get it," Max said.

"No. I don't get it. Why don't you tell me the reason why you left?"Allie said.

"I left because your not who I thought you were," Max said.

"What the hell does that mean?" Allie asked.

"You seem nice one minute then your a mean bitch the next minute. I can't be with someone like that," Max said.

"You didn't seemed bothered by it before,"Allie said.

"Well it didn't bother me that much. I was trying to figure out how to tell you,"Max said.

"Why didn't you just tell me instead of leaving?" Allie said.

"Because I know you wouldn't listen to me," Max said.

"Max are we broken up for good?" Allie asked.

"Allie I broke up with you when I left you," Max said.

"Oh, Max I have to tell you something," Allie said.

"What do you have to tell me?" Max asked.

This,"Allie said as she punched Max in the face.

"You are mine and mine alone. No one will take you from me,"Allie said before she walked up to her car and got in and drove off.

Max sat up and looked around. He didn't see Allie or anyone around. Max stood up and reached into his pocket and pulled his cell phone out. Max dailed the Crash Downs number. The phone ringed 3 times before someone picked up the phone.

"Hello? thanks for calling the Crash Down this is Liz. How can I help you?"
Liz asked.

Liz, it's Max," Max said.

"Max,why are you calling the club for?" Liz asked.

"I need to talk to one of the guys? Are any of them there?"Max asked

"Hold on let me check," Liz said.

Liz set the phone down and looked around. Liz turned and saw Michael and Maria sitting at a table talking. Michael and Maria turned and saw Liz waving them over. Michael stood up and walked up to Liz. When Michael and Liz stood face to face.

"Michael , Max need to talk to you?" Liz said as she handed Michael the phone.

Michael took the phone and put the phone to his ear.

Hello. This is Michael," Michael said.

"Thank god. Michael I need you to come andpick me up," Max said.

"Max, Where are you?" Michael asked.

"Me and Allie went somewhere to talk and then we got into an arguement.
She punches me and leaves me here with no way home,"Max said.

"Max, tell me where you are? And I will come and get you," Michael said.

"I'm at look out point. How long will it take for you to come and get me?"
Max asked.

"I'll be there in a few minutes. Just stay there ok," Michael said.

"Yeah, see you in a few," Max said.

Michael hanged up the phone and looked up. When he looked up he saw Liz and Maria looking at him.

"I need one of you to lock up before we leave," Michael said.

"Um, Ok. We better go and get our things then," Liz said.

Liz and Maria grabbed their purses and walked up the steps to the front door. They turned and saw Michael standing behind them. They all walked out the door and turned and locked the doors . After the doors were locked the walked down the steps to Michael's car. When they got to the car they all got in and drove off.

Meanwhile at Look out point:
Max looked around trying to figure out what was going on with him. He didn't know why he was starting to have feeling for Liz when he was suppose th=o be protecting her. Max turned when he heard something behind him.

When he turned he saw Maria, Michael and Liz. They all looked at Max as he walked up to the car. Max walked up to the car and opened the back door. When Max got in the car he noticed that he was sitting next to Liz. Liz turned and looked out the window while Max looked at Michael.

"Thanks for coming and getting me," Max said.

"No problem Max," Michael said.

"Can we please leave now?" Liz asked.

"Yeah, we can leave now," Michael said.

On the drive to the club was quiet. Michael and Maria were trying to figure out what was going on with Max and Liz. They both knew them never to be quiet to each other. Whe they got to the club's parking lot Michael arked the car. He turned and looked at Liz, Max and Maria. Before Michael could say anything Liz and Max got out of the car. The walked up the steps
to the club. When they got to the doors Liz unlocked the doors and walked in. Liz walked to her office while Max walked up the bar.

When Michael and Maria walked in the club they watched as Max and Liz went their seprate ways. Michael and Maria looked at each other bfore they walked up to the bar. When they walked up to the bar they sat next to Max. Max turned and looked at Maria and Michael.

"Max, what is going on with you and Liz?" Maria asked.

"Nothing is going on with me and Liz. we just got into an arguement is all," Max said.

"What are you both arguing about?" Maria asked.

"Oh, um I don't know. It's been about everything lately," Max said.

"Why don't you tell her?" Michael asked.

"Because right now she is mad and if I talk to her while she is mad I'll get something thrown at me," Max said.

"Max, you don't know if Liz will throw anything at you. You need to go and talk to her," Maria said.

"Fine I'll go and talk to her. If I'm not back in 2 hours then you will know she hit me," Max said.

"Ok. See you in an hour," Michael said.

Maria and Michael watched as Max walke up to the office door. Max knocked on the door.

"Come in," Liz yelled.

Max opened the door and walked into the office. When Max walked into the office he saw Liz looking out the window. Max turned and shut the door. Max walked up to Liz and looked at her. Liz turned and looke at Max. Max and Liz both looked at each other. Max and Liz didn't know what to say to each other.

"Liz, can we please talk?' Max asked.

"What is there to talk about Max?" Liz asked.

"Liz, I know things are crazy but you gotta know I am sorry," Max said.

"Max, what the hell is going on?" Liz asked.

"What do yoou mean?" Max asked.

"Max, Allie is hunting you down. She is making sure no lady is around you. And if a lady is around you she scares them away. Max what is going on with Allie?" Liz asked.

"Nothing is going on with Allie Liz. She just wants me. I don't know what to say," Max said.

"Max, you need to decide what to do. Because right now you are being a jerk," Liz said.

"Liz, Allie is I don't know. And you need to stop worrying about her and stay out of it. I am handling Allie as best as I can right now," Max said.

"Max when you decide let me know. But til then you stay the hell away from me. I don't want you to protect me and I sure as hell don't want you around or talking to me got it?" Liz said.

"Liz?" Max asked.

"Max, you made the desion. Now will you go away and leave me alone," Liz said.

"No. I will still be around to watch out for you," Max said.

"No. you won't. I want you to stay the hell away from me," Liz said angryly.

"Liz, I am always going to keep an eye on you," Max said.

"Max stay away from me. I want nothing to do with you ever again," Liz said.

"Liz I can't do that Jim told me to protect you. And I plan on doing just that," Max said.

"Max stay he hell away from me or youo will be sorry," Liz said.

"No. I won't stay away," Max said.

"Yes you will," Liz said.

"I say I won't," Max said.

"I say you will," Liz said.

" No I won't," Max yelled.

"I say you will," Liz yelled.

"No! ," Max yelled.

Yes you will," Liz yelled as she picked up a glass cuffee cup and threw it at Max.

Max ducked before the coffee cup hit him on the head. Max stood up and looked at Liz. He saw that she was looking at Max like she wanted to kill him. Whilr Max and Liz were staring at each other they heard a knock on the door.

The door opened and therestood Michael and Maria. Maria and Michael looked between Max and Liz.

"What is going on in here?" Michael asked.

"Me and Liz were just talking," Max said.

"And now he is leaving," Liz said.

"But we are not finished talking yet," Max said.

"I say we are. Now go away Max," Liz said.

Fine be that way. But it won't be the last tie we will talk," Max said before he walked out of the office. After Max left Maria and Michael turned and looked at Liz. Liz looked at them.

"Liz, what the hell is going on?" Maria asked.

"Me and Max got into an arguemnet. Nothing to worry about," Liz said.

"What are you and Max arguing about?" Michael asked.

"Michael, I'm sorry I can't tell you. But if you want to know what it is about ask Max," Liz said.

"Oh, boy that doesn't sound good," Maria said.

"Maria and Michael both watched as Liz stood up andwalk towards the door. Liz opened the door. She turns and looks at Michael and Maria.

"Guys I'mgoing to go for a walk," I'll be back in a few," Liz said.

Liz walked out of the office and walked up the steps to the front door. Liz walked out the front door and down the steps. When Liz reached the bottom step she turned and walked towards the back of the club. When Liz got to the back of the club she walked up the hill. She got to the top of the hill and sat down on a rock. She looked around while she sat down.
Liz started to think about everything that happened between her and Max.

Meanwhile across town:
Max walked into his apartment and sat down. Max didn't know what was going on. One minute they got along. Andthe net they were arguing and
fighting. Max wished he knew what was going on between him and Liz. He knew he had a job to do but his feelings for Liz were making it a problem.

"I'll sleep on it maybe that will help," Max thought before he fell sleep.

Meanwhile at the club:
Maria and Michael were at the bar talking.

"Michael, we need to get Max and Liz to talk to each other," Maria said.

"Let them do it themselves. We need to stay out of it. Maybe they will talk to each other on their own," Michael said.

"Fine. I'll give them a week. After that no deal," Maria said.

"Good. Now let's just relax," Michael said.

Michael and Maria at back and started to drink their beers. As they were drinking their beers Liz walked into the club. Liz walked up to the bar and grabbed her a bottle of water.

Liz turned and saw a mailman standing in the door way with a box in his hands.

"Hello. Cna I help you?" Liz asked.

"Is there a Miss Parker here?' The mailman asked.

"Yes. I'm Miss Parker. What is it you need?" Liz asked.

"Here I need you to sign for this. And here is your mail," Mailman said.

Liz watche as the mailman handed her the box and her mail.

"Um, thanks," Liz said s she took the box and her mail.

Liz, Michael and Maria watched as the mailman walked out of the club. After the mailman left Liz walked up to the bar and set the box down. Liz unwrapped the box and opened it. When Liz opened the box she saw dead roses and dead decaying animals. Liz screamed as she stepped back from the box.

Michael and Maria ran up to Liz. Michael walked up to the box and looked inside. He saw dead roses and dead decaying animals. Michael turned and looked at Maria who was holding a crying Liz. Michael turned and saw a card. Michael picked up the card and read what it said. After he read the card he walked up to Liz and handed the card to Liz. Michael turned and
reached into his pocket and pulled his cell phone out. Michael flipped his cell phone open and dailed Jim's number. On the third ring Jim answered the phone.

"Hello?" Jim said.

"We have a major problem. You need to get to the Crash down as fast as you can," Michael said.

Chapter 56:
What is going on?" Jim asked.

"She got sent dead roses with decaying animals in it," Michael said.

"Is Liz ok?' Jim asked.

"No she isn't. She is crying and scared," Michael said.

"What is Liz scared of?" Jim asked.

"Jim, she got a note with the box. The note was bad," Michael said.

"Where is Liz right now?" Jim asked.

"She is sitting at the bar with Maria," Michael said.

"Where is the box and the card?" Jim asked.

"The box is infront of me. What do you want me to do with it?" Michael asked.

"I want you to put the box in the office. I'm on my way right now. By the way where is Max? He is suppose to protect her," Jim said.

"Max and Liz had a yelling match. And Liz thre something at him. Max left after Liz tried to hit him. I don't know where he is though," Michael said.

"Call Max and tell him to meet me at the club. Me, you and Max are going to sit down and have a talk," Jim said.

"Ok. See you in a few Jim," Michael said.

"See you in a few minutes," Jim said.

After Michael flipped his phone closed he picked up the box and took it into thre office. Michael set the box down and reched into his pocket and
pulled his cell phone out. Michael dailed Max's number. Michael listened as the phonr rung. Then he heard someone pick up the phone.

"Hello?" Max asked.

"Hey Max. This is Michael. I need you to come to the club. Jim needs to talk to us," Michael said.

"Yeah, sure. I'm on my way. See you in a few minutes," Max said.

"Ok. See you then," Michael said.

Michael flipped his cell phone closed before he put the phone in his pocket. Michael walked out the door and saw Liz and Maria still at the bar.
Michael walked up to Liz and Maria. Liz and Maria turned and looked at Michael.

"What is going on?' Maria asked.

"Jim and Max are on their way here. They need to talk to us," Michael said.

"Talk to us about what?" Liz asked.

"I told Jim about the box you got. He wants to come here and see the box," Michael said.

"Ok. That is understandable,"Maria said.

"But what reason is Max coming for?" Liz asked.

"Jim, wants to talk to talk to us. They should be here any minute," Michael said.

Right at that moment Max and Jim walked into the club. Liz, Michael and Maria turned and looked at them. Max and Jim walked down the steps to the bar. Everyone all looked at each other.

What happened here?" Max asked.

"If you were here you would know," Liz said.

"Will someone tell me what is going on?" Max asked.

"Liz got sent a box you both should see. Liz have you read the card yet?" Michael asked.

"No. Can I read it now?" Liz asked.

"Are you sure you want to read the card?' Maria asked.

"Yes. I am sure I want to read it. Now please let me see this note?' Liz asked.

Michael reached into his pocket and pulled the envolpoe out of his pocket.
Michael handed Liz the card. Liz opened the envolpe and pulled the card out. Liz lookrd down and began to read the card. After she read the card she handed it to Jim. Jim looked down and began to read the note. The Note read:

Dear Lizzy
Soon like these flowers that are dead and these animals that are decaying, so shall you be dead and buried.

After Jim read the card he looked up at Liz then looked back at the card. Jim handed the card to Max. Max looked down and began to read the card.
After Max read the card he looked uop and looked at Liz. Liz looked at Max and then turned away.

"Michael, where did you put the box at?" Jim asked.

"The box is in the office. Come on I'll show you," Michael said.

"Liz and I are going to stay here while you go," Maria said

"Ok. We'll be back in a few minutes," Michael said.

Liz and Maria watched as Max, Jim and Michael walk into the office. After they walked in Liz and Maria turned and looked at each other.

"Liz, don't worry everything is going to be ok," Maria said.

"I hope you are right. Because I don't know how much more I can take," Liz said.

"Don't worry ok," Maria said.

"Ok. I'll try and not to worry,"Liz said.

"Good. How about rootbeer float?" Maria asked.

"Sure, why not," Liz said.

Meanwhile in the office:
Max, Jim, nd Michael all walked up to the desk. Michael opened the box. Max and Jim looked in the box and saw dead roses and decaying animals. Max and Jim turned away from the box and were shocked by what they saw in the box. Jim turned and looked at Michael and Max. Max and Michael looked at Jim.

"Jim, what are we going to do?" Michael asked.

"We are going to get rid of this boxthen we are going to watch out for Liz and Maria,"Jim said.

"Jim, you know that Liz and I are not getting along right now," Max said.

"Why are you and Liz arguing and fighting a lot?" Michael asked.

"Liz and I are arguing about Allie. She thinks that Allie is a stalker. I told her that she wasn't and that caused us to get into a arguemnet and a fight," Max said.

"Max, you need to figure out what is going on. Because you gor Allie and Liz around you," Jim said.

"I know, but right now I can't figure out what to do?" Max said.

"Max, yoou need to stay with Liz 24/7 to protect her. I don't care what you do but you need to stay with Liz," Jim said.

"What do I do about Allie? Liz and Allie don't get along," Max said.

"I think you need to try and keep Allie away?' Jim said.

"And how the hell am I suppose to do that?" Max asked.

"I don't know. All I know is that you need to think of something," Michael said.

"Gee, thanks a lot Michael," Max said.

"No problem," Michael said.

Meanwhile in the club:
Liz and Maria were sitting at the bar tsalking. When they heard the bell above the door ring. Liz and Maria turned and and saw Allie standing at the stop of the steps looking at them.

"Hello ladies. Where the hell is my boyfriend Max?" Allie asked.

"Why should we tell you?" Maria asked.

"Because I need to see my boyfriend," Allie said.

"Max didn't say anything about a slut for a girlfriend," Maria said.

"And Max didn't say anything about a bitch working here," Allie said.

"Watch it lady ot I'll kick you out," Maria said.

"I would like to see yoou try bitch," Allie said.

"Allie and Maria were ready to fight each other. Liz ran to the office door and knocked.

"Come in," Jim yelled.

"Liz walked into the office and looked at Max, Jim and Michael. They turned and looked at Liz.

"We have a problem in the club," Liz said.

"What kind of problem?" Max asked.

Right at that moment Liz, Max, Jim and Micheal heard someone scream. Liz turned and aw Maria and Allie hitting each other. She turned and looked at Max, Jim and Michael. Liz walked back in the office and pulled the guys by their shirts to the front door. When they got to the front door, they say Allie snd Maria punching each other.

"Stop them!," Liz yelled.

Max and Michael walked up to Allie and Maria and pulled them apart. Michael and Max watched as Allie and Maria tried to kick each other. Jim and Liz walked up to them and stood between them.

"What is going on here?" Jim asked

"Well she started it" Maria and Allie said at the sametime.

"One of you just tell me what happened?," Jim asked.

"Jim, Allie came in the club and asked where her boyfriend was. I told her that it was none of her concern and we called each other names. And we started fighting til you came out here to stop us," Maria said.

"Allie what are you doing here?" Max asked.

"I came to see you, since you are my boyfriend," Allie said.

"I am not your boyfriend," Max yelled.

"Yes, you are," Allie yelled back.

"No, I am not, Allie just leave me alone," Max said.

"Sorry that won't be happening anytime soon," Allie said.

"What? why?" Max asked.

"Because you are mine and mine alone," Allie said.

"Liz turned and looked at Jim, Maria and Michael. Jim, Maria and Michael all looked at Max and Allie.

"Max you beeter figure out what to do," Michael said.

"That probably won't be happening anytime soon," Max said.

"Jim, is there anything to make Allie leave Max alone?" Liz asked.

"I don't know but he needs to decide soon," Jim said.

"Max, why don't you and Allie go talk while I am here?" Michael asked.

"Ok. Well talk in the offce. be back in a few,"Max said.

Max and Allie walked into the office and shut the door. When they walked into the office, Allie turned and looked at Max. Max looked at Allie and knew he had ro stop this.

"Allie, I already decided what is inportant to me and it's my job. Go home
Allie," Max said.

"No. I am not leaving.I'm staying for a while. You can't make me," Allie said.

"No, I know I can't but I'm going to make sure you leave me and my friends alone," Max said.

Do what you have to, but I won't leave you alone," Allie said.

"Allie, get out oh here snd don't come back or you will be sorry," Max said.

"Fine. I'll leave. But it won't be the last time you see me," Allie said.

Max grabbed Allie by the arm and walked her out of the office. They walked through the club to the front door of thr club. When they walked out of the club, Max turned and looked at Allie.

"Now don't come back Allie," Max said.

"Fine, See you soon honey," Allie said.

Max watched as Allie walked up to her car and got in, then watched as she drove off. Max turned and walked up the steps. When he walked in the club he saw Liz, Jim, Maria and Michael all loking at him.

"What?" Max asked.

"We have a problem in the club," Liz said.

"What kind of problem?" Max asked.

Right at that moment Liz, Max, Jim and Micheal heard someone scream. Liz turned and aw Maria and Allie hitting each other. She turned and looked at Max, Jim and Michael. Liz walked back in the office and pulled the guys by their shirts to the front door. When they got to the front door, they say Allie snd Maria punching each other.

"Stop them!," Liz yelled.

Max and Michael walked up to Allie and Maria and pulled them apart. Michael and Max watched as Allie and Maria tried to kick each other. Jim and Liz walked up to them and stood between them.

"What is going on here?" Jim asked

"Well she started it" Maria and Allie said at the sametime.

"One of you just tell me what happened?," Jim asked.

"Jim, Allie came in the club and asked where her boyfriend was. I told her that it was none of her concern and we called each other names. And we started fighting til you came out here to stop us," Maria said.

"Allie what are you doing here?" Max asked.

"I came to see you, since you are my boyfriend," Allie said.

"I am not your boyfriend," Max yelled.

"Yes, you are," Allie yelled back.

"No, I am not, Allie just leave me alone," Max said.

"Sorry that won't be happening anytime soon," Allie said.

"What? why?" Max asked.

"Because you are mine and mine alone," Allie said.

"Liz turned and looked at Jim, Maria and Michael. Jim, Maria and Michael all looked at Max and Allie.

"Max you beeter figure out what to do," Michael said.

"That probably won't be happening anytime soon," Max said.

"Jim, is there anything to make Allie leave Max alone?" Liz asked.

"I don't know but he needs to decide soon," Jim said.

"Max, why don't you and Allie go talk while I am here?" Michael asked.

"Ok. Well talk in the offce. be back in a few,"Max said.

Max and Allie walked into the office and shut the door. When they walked into the office, Allie turned and looked at Max. Max looked at Allie and knew he had ro stop this.

"Allie, I already decided what is inportant to me and it's my job. Go home
Allie," Max said.

"No. I am not leaving.I'm staying for a while. You can't make me," Allie said.

"No, I know I can't but I'm going to make sure you leave me and my friends alone," Max said.

Do what you have to, but I won't leave you alone," Allie said.

"Allie, get out oh here snd don't come back or you will be sorry," Max said.

"Fine. I'll leave. But it won't be the last time you see me," Allie said.

Max grabbed Allie by the arm and walked her out of the office. They walked through the club to the front door of thr club. When they walked out of the club, Max turned and looked at Allie.

"Now don't come back Allie," Max said.

"Fine, See you soon honey," Allie said.

Max watched as Allie walked up to her car and got in, then watched as she drove off. Max turned and walked up the steps. When he walked in the club he saw Liz, Jim, Maria and Michael all loking at him.

"What?" Max asked.
